It's fine. People are forced more to use exchanges and buy&hold real BTC.

Sinn Fein / Religious conflicts at the root again. Wouldn't be the worst decision to ban religion. But the worst is that the Brit government blames the EU for it. Johnson is about the worst top politician i have witnessed so far: Brings nothing but disadvantages for the british people, seems to be proud of it.

He's right, though! Time to put some money off the table and put it into BTC ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

No, we try to not have that kind of discussions, it's not denial, it's just keeping this thread free from shitcoin talk. If you must talk about them there are literally dozens of other threads, keep this one clean.
OK, now I have to reply to this accusation. I wasn't talking about shitcoins. Pay attention. Someone asked why Bitcoin was losing market dominance and I suggested it was capacity issues with Bitcoin. It's everyone else who jumps on with suggestions of using shitcoins for some reason. Bitcoin is losing market dominance mainly because of greed. Sounds too simple? Just think about it for a while ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

[Lots of stuff, as usual]
All very nice stuff. Completely fails to address the arguments I made (which are not for altcoins or big blocks or anything like that, merely that if you restrict capacity, the thing complained about is merely an expected outcome), of course so I'm not going to bother addressing most of it. The idea that "We had the discussion about the tire being flat yesterday and I didn't do anything about it" in any way stops the tire from being flat today and still needing to be fixed is asinine. However, if you continue to refuse to countenance discussion of factors which might be influencing price or adoption, I heartily recommend this link ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FG7Tiiir.png&t=663&c=FTvAeHS5RUKNig) I will, myself, continue to listen to many voices including those with whom I am not in agreement. Echo chambers are such a bore. You are missing the point, we don't care if the tire is flat or not, we don't discuss tires at all in this thread. Doing so just makes people irritated. If you want to discuss tires, for whatever reason, do so in other threads and leave this thread tire free. Is that so hard to understand? For some, a batslap is probably easier to understand ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

Just got notification from my exchange that they'd received a $1500 deposit ready to spend. I was like uhhhh..... turns out it was my wife, she just called telling me to buy some more BTC. Guess she's a keeper?
Hold her with diamond hands ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif)

Poor again.
Come on show us your new buy orders? Au contraire, I just fired off a transaction to load some coin onto the exchange. Not sure when I'm going to pull the trigger, but going to take another low 7 digits in profit to calm me down. Shouldn't need to sell any more until the ranch gets nearer to completion; at least a year away. Heard back from our accountant, and quarterly reporting is pushed out for another month, so I have more time for a price recovery. Would like to go at least a full quarter before I consider selling again, and even then, that'll likely be a big *IF* depending on circumstances. Oh, yeah, you have different tax laws in the states. For example, when i sell BTC, it is considered to be the "oldest" corn i bought so far. If i buy a whole BTC in 2019, buy another one a year later and sell it some weeks later on an exchange, it's tax free, because the tax officials consider this as a sell of the "old" BTC from 2019. You don't have that advantage, afaik. This is quite effective against daytraders evading taxation, makes some sense in the end. But laws can be changed, and the EU started to think about that recently ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) EDIT: Did the cat bounce already and we had the bottom now? (that's what my adjusted lines suggest)

Poor again.
Lost all your fiat to forgotten buy orders? ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Corn price going lower than I'm comfortable with at this time. Was hoping we'd be closer to $60k by now. Got a ranch to build. That shit doesn't come cheap. I know these feelings, gotta move forward with extending the hou$e. All will be fine, though. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

If for some reason you decided to buy your first BTC this morning around 9AM forum time, that sucks. ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) Buying the top and hodling hard beyond a new ATH is part of the transformation to a Bitcoiner, isn't it? If it doesn't kill you, it makes you poorer. Now that's the birth of a new proverb ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) What doesn't kill you makes you poorer richer!
FTFY. Why poorer? If anything, HoDLers came out so much richer after 2017... Instead, mindrust is dead (read: nocoiner) and poor. Well, if you put it that way, you're probably right (too) ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) I feel for those poor S/L traders (because i don't have fiat to buy a lil part of their market sacrifices)

+1 WOsMerit Not bad. At least $5k above the last dip just before the march CME futures expiry date. This one is unrelated (yet)? EDIT: Invalidated my chart linedrawing completely, though ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif)

Good morning WO! The "battle" for 60K continues, but not for long. Short-sighted daily traders don't realize what is going on and sell their last 0.0001BTC what was left from their initial 0.01BTC. However, the bigger picture is quite good with all the big investors in play. And the liquidity crisis is getting even deeper. The BTC reserve on exchanges continues its descent which started a year ago. Currently the decrease is between 25% and 33% on the various exchanges. And this is a lot! In 2 years there won't be any Bitcoins left on the exchanges, if this trend is kept. In the last 24 hours only, for example, the total reserve decreased with nearly 100K BTCs (-4% for the day). And on the biggest USA exchange it hit another low with a -10K BTCs for the day. And this happens almost every day. This is the opposite to what happened in 2017, meaning that we are at the beginning of the real mass adoption which establishes Bitcoin as the best performing asset in all times worldwide.
This! I am keeping a close eye on the on-chain analysis and also news regarding ETFs, corporate involvement, etc. Things are looking real bright right now and when this dam breaks it will break big. Could be in the next few days, if not, it won't be too long. An ETF is right around the corner, many people will (I think) plow their 401ks etc into an ETF. I've been waiting to do that for years now, just wish I could invest directly, but local laws suck. Exactly. Current sideways movement is like childs play, all until the big boys step into the yard. Trading this mess is quite insane at the moment. #hodl

Magnet link for the facebook flat files. 15G
i wonder if there are records for those who "deleted" facebook and yet are still in the database. Yes, I found a guy that has been dead since 2006. OK, but did he or one of his relatives make sure that his account got deleted? I have got a FB account without phone number (not using the mobile app) that got deleted on my request early 2018. I would be interested if my data is included in the leak(s), but i can't find a vital download source atm. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178336.msg56724786#msg56724786Muchas gracias ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) I have downloaded and checked, neither me nor my wife, which is still active on FB, is in the file(s). We both never used and mobile version and i constantly reminded her not ever to enter her real name or telephone number.

A guess: Alts continue to rise BeCaUsE tHeY aRe So GoOd
Alts are crap but Bitcoin continues to have a capacity issue. This will be one of the keys moving forward... it is an interesting detail. 2nd layers are still nascent, and most of them are trusted. But I think trusted 2nd layer use will be encouraged. I also am developing the theory that the 6102 of our generation will come about through these trusted 2nd layers. You leave your coins on CashApp, PayPal, Blockfi, or the exchanges, there MAY come a day when you CANNOT take possession of them with keys you control. I am not anti-trusted layers... but I will not be parking any significant value on any of them, that's for sure. None of us will. It's like going out with all your savings in your pocket(s). "Altcoin season" about to top?
nah. "Altcoin season" about to top pop? Thanks for FTFM ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) EDIT: The last weeks feel like the time when certain people said "Bitcoin will never go over $10k again". Maybe the same type are now ranting that it will never go over $60k again. Please, repeat that at $360.000 at the end of Q4 ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Gotta run, it's snow shoveling season all over again ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif)

Looks like a bull flag with a reversed-bart easter egg in the middle ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) (EDIT: Formation naming suggestion: "Unicorn-Camel Pattern"?) Great news, btw. Good idea to put pressure on fighting HIV, especially when you look at the outview of SARS-CoV2 mutations that adjust to vaccination and bring a rise in infectivity and death rates. This fight will take a while.
