Here's a harvested, cropped, edited RAW from the DJI Mini 2, as of today when i was on the road.
Sadly, the clear sky allowed the sun to melt a good amount of the snow on the trees away.
Yesterday, while i was lying in bed in pain, the landscape was almost all white (with 50 shades of grey ...at least)

I bet there's better shots to come this winter.

EDIT: I also tried the panoramic photo function of the drone today, and it's a shame that the input images (5) and resulting 180 degree pano stitch are rendered in JPG, regardless if the camera is set to RAW or not. This is a no-go in my opinion, but that may be only me, while others could be perfectly happy with it.

EDIT2: Finally i found a way to get RAW shots from the panorama mode, but the stitched out-of-drone file would still be a JPG. Only the single shots are .DNG, those have to be stitched using 3rd party software, which i find rather inconvenient to use, compared to auto-computed out-of-drone panoramas in RAW format.

1342  Other / Off-topic / Re: [WO/Hat-Gang Only - MODERATED] The fucking COVID vax thread (No hat? Fuck off!) on: December 07, 2021, 08:22:28 PM

In Germany: Out of 102k Corona deaths and over 6 million infections since the last 2 years, only 1418 of those deaths are from individuals who are 49 years old or younger.

1418 of which the vast majority suffered from medical preconditions or were smokers and/or obese.

Sure, there are more severe cases with Delta, also in younger populations, but there were also key factors identified.
So whats the problem?
Politics don't give a fuck about the reasons behind those numbers. They want simple and fast solutions, being overconfident in medical technology regards.

They should protect the vulnerable, get them to vaccinate, and leave the rest alone, so the virus can spread and mutate to "just a flu" level, which the Omicron variant seems to be. If science proves Omicron to be light enough, everybody should get infected by it, worldwide and case closed - which is what vaccines are claimed to accomplish, though, but look at the numbers... (like you already did).

I won't get vaxxed. I will get infected. As long as i feel endangered enough, i will wear the mask, i will limit my social life, i will distance myself - which is proven to work as well as vaccination, AT LEAST. But i will not play any role in this vaxxing mania the MSM and fuckdumb politics started.
Yes, it's true: If a majority of people in panic mode wants to enforce a minority to go along, you can expect full damage in the end. History is delivering a lot of examples.
And the majority clearly is in panic mode since that Covid19 shit started.

Careful out there, dangerous world "Rhu" variant just arrived. Was programmed to emerge on July 2022 but somehow found its way early.

The intestines took about 36 hours to recover AND additionally i caught a cold the same day i fucked up my digestive system with garlic loaded sour cream.

I even got to shoot a couple of winter pics, some of them looked good on the phone, from which i may post one or two soon.

It seems like Bitcoin wants to go up but some lonely bears like to chop the price a little.

Your wife's garlic sauce should be banned as a biological weapon!  Grin

Well, as an ingredient for producing biological poison gas, for sure  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
But did i miss that taste, man! I just highly overestimated what my intestines could take. Lesson learned.

And glad you and your rectum is feeling better, Out of memory.

Now I'm of to read another book, Anders Jallais "mördarkommandot" have been waiting way too long for me to read it.

Yeah, it's as good as new as of now  Grin

As 50k returns to give us a little kiss i also notice that in the Faketoshi trial:

Defense win on all claims except conversion. Jury awards $100 million to W&K Info Defense on that count. No punitive damages.

I do not know what this means.  But the BSV folks are spinning it as a win.

I think what this means is they found for the PLAINTIFFS in the amount of 100 million dollars?

As it seems, CSW evangelists are calling it a win, because the jury did not decide against his claims to be Satoshi (nor did they in favor), but they act like "you see, he IS satoshi".
Cobra's comment on twitter was "So coins gonna be moved?"
To me, it is saying a lot. Of course, (Satoshi's) coins will not be moved.

It's not about if CSW is right or wrong with his claims, it's about evangelism. And comedy, depending on which side one stands  Cheesy

“According to @Grayscale's latest survey:

- 26% of adult Americans own Bitcoin
- 55% bought Bitcoin in the last 12 months
- 66% of new Bitcoin buyers are hodling it”

https://twitter.com/blockworks_/status/1467860864166506498?s=21

According to onchain data "new" buyers tend more to panic selling than hodlers. (...)
But 66% is not bad.

What about Ethereum traders with +6.5% satoshis? I assume this would be at the top of the list, as was one of the few greens in the market that day. You correctly mention shitcoins declining much further that day, so I think it's only be fair & accurate to represent the change in market values overall. Emotions aside, it's pretty strange how ETH broke out to it's highest level since May 2018, while losing 15% of it's USD value. Never seen a significant ETH/BTC breakout during a BTCUSD crash, nor their dominance correlate in such a manner. Time's have changed, even if nobody wants to hear that factor.

IMO, main part of retail money goes into shitcoins this cycle. Thanks to WSB movement, many participants of the new "investor army" are throwing life savings at shitcoins with 100x leverage. BTC is "too expensive" for them and "never will deliver returns like [shitcoin name here] will"...
That's maybe also why we still wait for retail money this late in the cycle. Many of them "investors" have to go broke, then the remaining ones might save their funds in BTC, crashing the altcoin market. This is also why i support the delayed BTC top idea.

Doesn't look like that. I had a negative saliva antigen test last night.

Hope you start the mend quickly. Hang in there, bro.

Thanks!
A little pain around the kidney area, mild fatigue, mild malaise and the hurting anus  Cheesy
More time for watching the charts, though.
I expect to be well by tomorrow again.

Sorry, no drone pics of deep snowy winter today, shit my guts out last night.
Mood: Very much dark side.
Condition: Exhausted, dehydrated.
Actions: Cancelled all external activities for today.

Uhoh? You catch the coof or something?

Doesn't look like that. I had a negative saliva antigen test last night.
Had a scratchy throat and slight cough for two days without fever, and we still have lockdown in place, we're home schooling the kids, so there's very little chance of getting infected.
I don't tolerate fructose too well, and that cream-garlic dip from my wife was spiced up pretty much and too tempting (silly me) Roll Eyes
Didn't expect that it will turn out so bad. I couldn't even fasten my trouser button at night.

But, but, but... it's much more likely to suffer a stroke or pericarditis triggered by SARS-CoV-2, they say.
The risk of health damage is much less when taking the mRNA vaxx, compared to Covid19, they say.

EDIT: My neighbor just had Covid. She had four days of light back pain. Had to stay another six days in quarantine, feeling totally fine, looking good (she always does, though).

I seriously want to move to ES and start a recording studio in Bitcoin City.

Real good chance I am putting too much faith in Bukele, but he is redeeming an entire generation for me.  Yeah hes playing populist games... but he is also making a lot of great decisions for his country.  People are bitching about "legal tender" and all kinds of other shit... but this guy is sticking his neck out.  Seriously.  And he has a chance to be remembered VERY WELL in  (Central) American History.

As long as he does not either get assassinated, or turns into some despot.

Lemme know if you need someone for setting and micing up stuff, rehearsals and recording/production assistance  Wink Cool
Maybe things fall in place perfectly.

EDIT: Done shoveling, snowfall stopped. Currently charging the drone, i should find some time tomorrow for deep winter shots. Last photopost was quite a while ago...
1357  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 05, 2021, 06:39:31 AM
Shitcoins have come back very strong, good portion of them have completely elimanted their weekend losses and are up on the week. Bitcoin looks very tired and heavy in comparison.

To me this could mean 2 things. 1) no significant retail buying is happening with BTC anymore. or 2) BTC investors know something that the shitcoins don't, which is most likely more dumps on Monday. Or I guess both.

Don't like any of those options honestly.

i doubt if dumps would really happen on monday. however, if it occurred, it would be a real disaster to a lot of margins going for long, causing domino effect crashing almost every single normal altcoins including bitcoin itself. this is very likely transitory but maximum fear during it.

There is still the Omicron and FED FUD going around. It's very possible that the traditional markets could bring us down further, unless that all gets solved early next week.

i think that the whole market is on the "extremely overvalued" status, meaning the market is on the extreme bubble. if the market is still going down further, to a point it will burst the bubble and the whole world go into the end of finance.

some people suggested that the Fed paid a lot to let certain funds buy junk bonds like Chinese properties and used for ETF collaterals, such as Evergrande that is on the verge to become insolvent towards its offshore bonds. if it's declared insolvent, those collaterals are worthless to liquidate. even more, if the Fed fails to raise its national debt ceiling before 2021.12.15, it will become insolvent as well. if everything comes together, then it's the end of the world finance i am talking about.

to the whole crypto market, it's not going to be immune either especially if any major stablecoin becomes insolvent.

EOF (End of finance) vs. FUD?
If finance would be that vulnerable, we wouldn't have survived 2008.
The FED already extended the ceiling, i heard on the international radio yesterday.

EDIT: I saw somac already answered in more detail. Have a nice day, i'm off shoveling snow until or beyond sundown  Roll Eyes

Between now and 1 year from now bitcoin will spend more time below $40k than above it. Write it down.

Oh my.

That's too bad.

By the way.. goat breath, you may well be lucky to even see one day that ends up actually below $40k in the coming year.. .not saying that it could not happen.. but the odds seem against uie pooie.   Cry Cry Cry

He (she? it?) could be right tho.
After a blow off top in Q1 2022, BTC could well "crash" down under $40k within 2 months-ish and zig zag around, down to the ultimate $20k capitulation bottom in 2023.
Then proudhon's call would be probably valid.

What happened to various bulls and their bull vision?

 Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry

Feels so lonely around these here parts..

On topic: I bought this dip (twice). I am still bullish, but i believe in halvening cycles, until halvenings get almost irrelevant (post 2028), then i'm all for the supercycle.
I can't be that much more bearish than that, in these now times aka. bitcoin's 434th funeral Cool

Time to join Proudhon!

Meh these image post errors are getting real old real fast!

Seems like a board issue with png files?
Had the same prob yesterday.

EDIT: New Poll?

Anyone?
My suggestion:
"Are you going to attend Proudhon's $10k party?"
