2101  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What exchange to join? on: May 08, 2017, 02:27:38 PM
I really dont want to register on 10 of them and send my ID to every...
For altcoin trading you do not need to verify yourself when you will be sticking with some specified limits for withdrawal on daily basis (example poloniex), maximum you may need phone verification on few exchanges (example : bittrex).

But I guess almost all bitcoin/fiat exchanges are asking documents but you can avoid them by finding your local exchangers though this forum or through localbitcoins.
2102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: May 06, 2017, 04:17:04 PM
In most countries BTC is almost unknown. People knows little about it in some places. We have a tendency , we are greedy. I have seen that many people invest in stock market without actual knowledge. In my place majority people are farmers. They sold their cows and lands to buy some useless shares and ultimately lost everything. That is why many countries do not allow currencies other than local currency. BTC is still a risky investment. If a lot of people invest in BTC, majority people may lose their investment
This is a very valid reason that you have discussed. I appreciate that you actually understand that reason due to which some government fear of the Bitcoin and ignoring it to be promoted and make steps for the legality of the BTC.

As the local currency of any country represents the strength of the particular country and with the BTC the governments can’t do this.
2103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: May 04, 2017, 08:50:45 PM
Most people does try to run a business if they get sucess they are free to left their jobs, talking about casinos, dices, exchanges, online wallets, and few more projects around. Outside those you will be able to earn some extra coins doing signatures and some tasks, but you cant and shouldnt left your work to focus into bitcoin, there are risk wich you cant recover if something goes wrong, soo consider bitcoin and crypto as extra source.
No, the risk and willingness to stick for full time with the profitable business are not just newer things that we are seeing only due to bitcoin ecosystem. People do switch over to new business when when they are finding satisfaction they may take decisions to stick with for full time.

The risk you are mentioning about bitcoin based business should be taken for considerations due to the fact bitcoin is newer inventions. But almost all the business even jobs are at peril to go negative in abnormal situations.

I guess embracing bitcoin related business/job for source of income must be a  good option for any country people as I do study about the opportunities, it is wider and capable of supporting for living if we are enough dedicated.
2104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What makes the bitcoin price stronger in the market? on: May 04, 2017, 07:45:19 PM

There are aspects that make bitcoin users more and more convinced that bitcoin is a good place for investment so now bitcoin prices are rising in the market!

Bitcoin's price is going strong, but not as strong as the alts in the market. Altcoins' price are shooting through the roof. It doesn't matter which alt you pick. Most of them have given phenomenal gains in the last 2 months.
I’m not sure I’d agree with you, it seems like btc is whats driving altcoin prices, not the other way around. Take a look at any price chart over time of the stable altcoins, not just the BS ones that shoot up in value really fast and depreciate over the next couple weeks.

Long term, most of them keep rough pace with BTC. At this point, Bitcoin has become like an index fund for cryptocurrency, reasonably stable compared to its alternatives, and a good overall indicator of the whole market.
2105  Economy / Speculation / Re: is 2017 the new 2013? on: May 04, 2017, 07:23:58 PM
I think is more on like 2014 but we dont assure if something big happens .It may change in a month .bitcoins is to volatile to be predicted .
Volatility is a major concern and in reality anything could happen in a short time frame without any prior indication of the price variation. Possibly as users quoted the price this year is quite good to move forward in a stable manner. Also the price fluctuations are not same as that happened in the past 2013.
It is not that easy to release a statement regarding the volatility. As we all know that the bitcoin is one of the most risky stuff to deal with. The price fluctuations can happen any time and it constantly fluctuates but one can’t say that when are the prices going to be drop too low or rise too high. Also there are many more factors that includes in that price fluctuation. But things are much different and developed now so, we can’t say this.
2106  Economy / Speculation / Re: if BTC's 'market share' goes sub 50% this year what effect will this have? on: May 04, 2017, 06:47:21 PM
you keep repeating a wrong word! it is not market share it is market cap. and even if market cap of bitcoin was only 1% of the whole cryptocurrency market cap it wouldn't have mattered because market share of bitcoin is >95% all the other altcoins have no real usage, they just create "coins" for example the biggest one that is causing this decrease in share of bitcoin from market cap is ethereum which has 91 million coins and it has no max which means it will keep on creating millions and getting the market cap into a fake bubble.
this was probably said a million times all over this forum:
market cap = number of coins * price
Even if the alts create many more coins in quantity, it will have no great impact on the bitcoin. Bitcoin will remain the unique one. I guess ethereum being the second one with the relation of price still cannot beat the bitcoin price because of the supply difference of both of them. There are some people promoting the alt will say things without any proper research or they just manipulate the things to promote their currency.
2107  Economy / Speculation / Re: I can see that the bitcoin specualtion sub has matured! on: May 04, 2017, 06:10:26 PM
I have seen this sub in those days, whenever the price of bitcoin rises, some people make very extraordinary speculation that bitcoin is going all the way to 100,000 and 1 million.

But now even when bitcoin is at its all time high , people are making very conservative estimates that is less than 5000$ mostly..

Yup! thats a sign of maturity....
Probably those kids are grown up now or might be busy in altering their profit booking calls or busy in moving out their bitcoins from cold storage.

But when you are finding speculation on $5000 as reasonable then why not speculation on $10k or million will not be reasonable over time. I did see those "kids" were making some sense with their speculations even they were not coming with any backing points for their statements. But when seeing their confidences on bitcoin, I decided to save more in bitcoins.
2108  Economy / Speculation / Re: This bubble will pop big on: May 04, 2017, 05:28:27 PM
Nice rise here and careful now the bubble will pop nice and quick as well.

Take profits while you can or HODL?
I never agreed with the term bubble because people will not buy bitcoins without believing in to its future you cannot convince thousands of traders with a fake reasons. Bitcoin getting into this much higher levels only because of some reasons and of course it would be its potentials.

I do see bitcoin will be reaching price levels like $10k in coming years and there will be no chances for any downfall at this stages. Even if it will happen, we can see price will be bouncing back very soon. Holding will be the right option imho.
2109  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin break the history. on: May 04, 2017, 12:45:52 PM
This could but also doesn't have to happen. Bitcoin is not only rising progressive through the time, the price could fall also. Everything depends on the Bitcoin market, the supply and demand, the factors that inf the market, the big players, both countries and individuals and so on. We would all like to see Bitcoin price at 2500$ or more very soon but unfortunately Bitcoin is not that predictive.
When you are concerning about balance, I believe the prices are being raising for a reason like for increased demand so I think we cannot expect a progressive up surge through out the year. Traders always speculate for future prices and then the reality will follow them. I believe this what happening this time too.

I am sure, by end of this year, we might be having bitcoins value more than $5000. We cannot estimate how much demand the new investors and adopters of bitcoin will be bringing.
2110  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading on: May 03, 2017, 08:10:47 PM
There's a lot of trading opportunity for day traders, especially now that altcoins and crypto currencies market is very volatile and price fluctuations every second. You just need to follow the current trends and trade along with it. Just that trading is very risky and you most have adequate knowledge for you to succeed in it.
Opportunities are always there in the markets but making use of them must be a very big challenging for all the traders and for day traders it would be more riskier too compared to positional traders. Positional traders are always dealing with safe heaven in my opinion as they are not bothering about daily news hours fluctuations nor panic selling kind of market sentiments too.
2111  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Access to Insider Information? on: May 03, 2017, 07:47:51 PM
Insider trading in stock market is considered to be illegal and can land a person in jail if proven in the court for engaging in the said activity. It is because this can be unfair to the investing public who can possibly lose some money in the process if the information can have a negative impact to a certain stock.
Manipulating market is that big crime ? I do not think it will be feasible to prove about such activity based on insider information. Traders will claim that they had made decisions on their own analysis.

Personally I feel having insider information will be quick short cut for making big profits but I am not getting any of them so far. Probably people who are in touch with devs may get those updates. Still I doubt why they need to leak out about their manipulation for free of cost.
2112  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you have 1BTC to spent in trading what coins will you invest on: May 03, 2017, 07:08:23 PM
You know what I really think? I think right now any coin under $3 is a blessing and we should try and explore some new possibilities, why not eh?
Suddenly after you wake up one morning and see other idiots have pumped your getrichfast coin up to the heavens.
What is this?
Yesterday some alt was $69 and after I woke up I saw it's at $96 are they rolling dice or something?
Doge gone up ETC gone up DASH and every damn thing out there gone up, time to find some unknown and cheap coins before these greedy bas*ards exploit their market as well Cheesy
I'd go with POSW while it's cheap in yobit under 10K sats because last week it was 17K sats. you could also stake them and receive dividends.
I agree that any of the digital currency that is cheaper and that have a chance in near future to be more valued. Before you go for any cheap or whatever the currency status may be but you need to do homework on it before the investment. Even the BTC is on fire now its prices are developing and rising very fast.
2113  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you trade shitcoins? on: May 03, 2017, 04:39:06 PM
Hi. I was just wondering what you guys' opinion is about the large volume of shitcoins, and if there is profit to be made in these coins. For example Lepen, Macron, TRUMP, Putin, and 85% of the other coins listed on YoBit.

Do you trade in them? If yes, what kind of volume? Is it worth it?

Would highly appreciate your opinions.
I used to trade in it a few times but honestly speaking it never helped. I don’t know why it happened to me all the time either I was not a good manager of the time or could not pick the real potential stuff ?

Anyway I have traded in the shitcoin and have lost my money several times but the large amount I lost was because of the sudden dumps.
2114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you use analysis when play gambling? on: May 03, 2017, 08:33:06 AM
Analysis is very useful in gambling, if by analysis you mean probability and strategy. Gambling is all about mathematical probability and making the best strategic decisions to gain the most amount of your bet in the long-term.
Yes in our daily life we can see that when a person is use to to gambling and visit casio on regular basis, so they remain as more confident, but I think those people who visited casino for the first time they remain as more complex and reluctant.

But after spending some time in casino and when he become used with casino and gambling then he get some confident level which make him more bold and confident.
2115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play with your profit or not? on: May 03, 2017, 08:03:51 AM
I don't know about other but it comes to my mindset I always gamble with my profits only because we can easily track how much we are losing and how much we are gaining. Each person has his own attitude some might will play with profits and some people will gamble with (investment + profits), it completely depends on their mindset.
Yeah I agree on this. It really depends whether I use my profits to gamble or not. It depends on if I really don't want to lose money or if I don't care too much.

Yes, the only thing we have to remember while gambling doesn't allow you to make much money in single betting and don't go over exicited with the money you made through gambling because always it is good though to gamble with profits only.

From what you have said, I think you are planning to gamble until you have a profit which is really not good. When you are gambling and losing a lot, eventually you will be wanting to get back what you have lost and gamble until you notice that you have nothing. We must really control ourselves.

I didn't know that it is not good to have profit in gambling, lol. The reason that we are gambling is because we want to make more money out of it, and the profits is the more important here in gambling, so how come that it is not good to have one? I think you didn't get the point that he was trying to say. What he means is that we have to quit if we know that we have already made enough profits, because the house will just take it all away if we are going to continue to make more.

Because the house if just provoking us by letting us to win, for us to have more confidence to continue, and if they have succeeded on this plan, then expect that in the end, we are the one who is going to lose.
This is now a nice explanation; some people have a little problem with their communication skills. He may have wanted to write this but couldn’t make it.

The point of quitting at the time when you make more is a good one. Keeping in mind that if it earned it can lose as well and not in bits then when it comes to loss then people are there try to win but there are less people of fortune.
In fact everyone know the reality but still no one ready to apply and accept it. and therefore they even making good money in gambling still continue to make more and more until they lose all their money back not only the the winning amount but even their own invested money in gambling and they laminae for what they did, and for every time they promise to themselves and for every time they break their promise.
2116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do small investments make sense? on: May 03, 2017, 07:22:44 AM
There is no harm on investing small amount but it shouldn't be taken that too lite since it is money, whether it is small amount or not. We should take this seriously, maybe I'm wrong for thinking about enjoyment correlating it only with having fun. I agree with you, when you are comfortable investing with small amount, that matters.
But, by taking your business in a non-serious mood is actually the biggest damage that you are doing to your investment. It requires the same attention and motivation for progress no matter if the investment is huge or small but what counts in the end is your failure or you done with your job.

An investment in any situation is an investment it cannot be defined by its volume it will always an investment.
2117  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: May 02, 2017, 08:53:47 PM
Hello All,

What you think is the best investment to gain steady income in btc without actively doing anything?
So no trading/gambling/loaning etc.

Steady income more likely to be 'small & secure' than 'big & risky'.

Thanks,
BR Oinas
I don’ think you are going to be able to find anything close to what you are looking if you want a  steady income you need to be prepared to work hard for it, trading can give good profits but it is not a source of steady income your best bet will be to find a job that pays in bitcoin.

If he gets a job that pays him his salary in bitcoins then also he cannot get a steady income from it as his monthly income will depend on the price of bitcoins if price goes higher he will get higher and same if it goes lower.
You got me, Lol, but you are right someone accepting pay in bitcoins is now subject to the same price fluctuations that we see every day, so I suppose the best idea is to simply get a good job that pays in fiat and use whatever amount you can spare to buy bitcoin.
Getting a job that pays in fiat is a good idea because job that paying in bitcoin will not help you but only put you in a risk of losing money. Get a job that pays regularly in fiat and diversify it into different kind of section that you want like investment in bitcoin and savings and expenses or depending on your desire. If you have fiat then it is clear that you have a lot of options.
How can you lose money if you receive salary with Bitcoin? I have never heard aboout it before. If you consider Bitcoin as a type of money, you can not lose it. Keep it save in your pocket or somewhere you can secure it the most
In fact currently people are not ready to accept their salaries in bitcoin because majority of the people do not have any idea about bitcoin and those people who have some idea about bitcoin they have the stability issue, as we can see that the price of bitcoin is not stable therefore their salary will also be effected if the will decrease or even increase, which will then create problems.
2118  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: May 02, 2017, 08:20:49 PM
Well lately i took a loan . That time im desperate of money well i took a loan to my friend because i really need a money in my life so i took it and sometimes im selling my items in real life so that i could earn money. But now it gives me a lesson i should have a bitcoin for emergency instances because  if i dont have i having a loan again
Yes absolutely right and this properly is known as planning. One should plan his budget, management of assets is a very good thing that helps you many time to avoid some harsh time and make it easy for you.
But if you have properly planned about it that what next can come to you and what steps to be taken so that both your investment and earnings can be safe from huge losses or u lose all your assets.
2119  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Bank on: May 02, 2017, 07:22:54 PM
Did anyone think at this? How would a bank work? How could you loan bitcoins and get interest for them in an economy with just 21 milion BTC limit?

Can you explain me why would we need bitcoin bank? Bitcoin is a digital currency and payment network, why would we pay someone to do easy things for us?
I`m new in all this, but isn`t the point of bitcoin to be alternative to the current system?

We don't need bitcoin bank, Remember the word of being your own bank. And it has given a lot of the meaning for us. We will never need bitcoin bank to keep or money especially crypto is in the grey area which will try to save your bitcoin on bitcoin bank is not a good decision.
They can be turned as scammer anytime.

Yes I`m aware of that, it`s something that I learned first about bitcoin and that`s why I was surprised when I saw this topic. I wanted explanation from the person that created this topic, I saw comments from people that support bitcoin bank idea, what I didn`t saw are valid arguments for that statment, and how that can be good for us users.
Probably the guy who posted this topic, had the idea of that bitcoin is much likely compared to gold because people save it for a long time and wait for the price to go up, and people who have a good amount of money have to option to turn it into gold so it could grow passively, and the only way they can store it is in the vault banks, and I think that is where the bitcoin bank comes from.
2120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Great way to make Bitcoin! on: May 02, 2017, 05:31:16 PM
People who are not greedy and who wants to make money in slow and steady way will always choose trading over gambling as with good knowledge and skills you can surely make some money in trading.
The best thing to say about making money with bitcoin is to be patient and not to fall for the greed, because most of the people who start off in the bitcoin always find difficulties earning a considerable amount and they rush toward finding faster ways to make money, so they either lose their money in gambling or they get scammed in the process, so as long as you are patient and not greedy you will be able to find legit ways that give you a good profit over time.
