I didn't expect this news, it really makes me proud as a Filipino. Now, the government is aware and should always fund our athletes regarding training and misc to improve them. The Philippines is earning a lot of Gold medals and surely tomorrow, they will gain again a lot of it.

The sea games are worth to watch but sadly, I don't have enough money to watch it live. I would like to see beautiful event places like in Rizal memorial stadium.

Kudos to SEA countries!  Wink

I hope all the Filipino are happy seeing their country competing and topping the medal race. I am sure there would be joy and event of celebration all over the Philippines. I already know that Philippines will top the medal list , but it will be interesting to see how many gold medals they would get in the end.

We still have many days before the SEA games end so I'm hoping that we can get a lot more medals. The other countries are great too, they fight for their country just to bring a medal to their nation. We're just lucky enough to have supporters that boost the confidence of our athletes 'cause we're the host of this event.

Still, we win as one!
2102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why are you gambling? on: December 02, 2019, 03:51:03 PM
1.Enjoying- How much money does it go to weekly?

To be honest, I can look at those histories and that will all be painted in red so I don't think I am getting any profit so to minimize the money I am using weekly, I slowly reduce the money I am using.

3.Hope for a win- How much did you earn in one day?

As I said, my history is painted in red so I don't usually earn a profit but I do enjoy and continue to hope that I can still win but I think I am so far from that so I just enjoy the game.

Do not lose hope because soon you never know what tomorrow has to bring for you. You are enjoying your games too so there is no need to feel bad or low. As long as the amount on stake is a small one and the time spend on this activity does not hurt other essential activities, you can gamble and enjoy. Moreover, if you switch your casino or game, maybe things change a little bit for you.

Yes, don't lose hope until your money is gone.  Cheesy

Just to remind you guys that we should be more practical. I think there's a lot of things other than gambling that will make you enjoy and entertain yourself. Money is precious now 'cause of poverty and there are some that aren't having 3 meals each day. So don't make yourself full of satisfaction through gambling because it might happen to you as well.

Are the events will be streamed? I could not go to the venues because of my busy work schedule but I would love to watch it on live stream, especially basketball events.
Idk but let's hope that the game will be streamed in the television so we can watch and be updated on the sea games.

There will be a live stream of all the games including esports in the ABS CBN Sports channel. Also, there will be also a live stream on Social media so let's tune in and support our athletes!

The current opening ceremony was live on ABS CBN and I think the organizing committee has a partnership already with ABS CBN channel to broadcast the games on 30th SEA GAMES.  Wink

Might add this picture as well.... this is the legendary boxer Manny Pacquiao who is holding the torch to lighten up the cauldron. When I am watching this scene, it is very goosebumps because I didn't expect that pacman is there going to the cauldron. It makes me really proud for being a Filipino because of what I saw on today's 30th South East Asian Games.

Yeah, I was shocked when Manny Pacquiao appeared in the middle of the path for the cauldron. I agree that it makes me proud of being a Filipino despite having a lot of issues from the start. This is what we called development through mistakes, the organizers prove that the issues regarding the 30THSEA GAMES are wrong and now they made an event that really makes us proud. Very extravagant!

It's also in the history that the 30th Sea Games happened in the Philippines and lightened up by our famous Senator which is a legendary boxer, Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao.

30th South East Asian Games
Opening Ceremony

Here are the pictures of the amazing opening ceremony held in the Philippines. There are too many overwhelming opening performances from our fellow citizens to welcome the other countries here in PH. The opening of 30th SEA GAMES made us appreciate our culture and most especially our OPM which truly represents the uniqueness of us Filipinos in music.

Let us support each of our own athletes that represents our country and hoping to have a fair and good match until the end of the 30TH SEA GAMES. GOOD DAY TO ALL~ THIS IS THE BEAUTY OF THE PHILIPPINES.

2110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have control or not? on: November 29, 2019, 11:52:03 PM
Control is a rather mythical thing that everyone aspires to, which I think is right.
But to achieve control, or rather, to realize that control has been achieved, you need to put yourself in a situation in which you usually lose control, and this time hold it.

In my opinion, control is an opportunity to stop gambling painlessly following your strategy during an irresistible desire to continue.
Therefore, it is so important to have a well-developed plan, following which you will not lose control.

Controlling how you gambling does not mean that the person or gambler should completely stop it or else its a personal choice. If could be a strategy that à person develop that keeps him or her going in gambling.

Moreover some gamblers have control at the beginning of their gambling experience, some happens to develop theirs after experiencing series of addiction and recovering from it.
The control that they're referring to is about time and money that you spent on gambling. You should learn how to self-exclusion 'cause when you feel you're playing too much and spent already a lot of money, you can ask to be self-excluded on the game.

Learn how to time-out also, it can be used if you want to keep playing, but handle it by withdrawing yourself from it for a short time. These two things are very important and it's part of the control.

When i get bored i go in online gambling because every i play i enjoy it even i lost some of my money its okay to me because i feel that I'm enjoying. And also hope for win i know everyone why they are in gamble because they always hoping for a win even they are lose they always come back hoping that they are win.

Then it's a good thing that you have that kind of mindset than gambling because you need money. Sometimes I'm also like that, playing gambling because I'm enjoying it with my friends. It's hard to have a mindset of winning every single game 'cause it affect your current status and you might get addicted. It also helps our brain to me thing more logically since probability really matters in the gambling game.

Emerson Fonseca.
Siya nga po. Ang CCO/CEO ng paylance at nem. Wink

So talagang expect na may fees.
Pero sa case namin, we didn't pay any rent or service charge kay Mr. Emerson and not only that, we have 3 speakers on that day at wala kaming binayaran. We only give a token for accepting our request to be one of the speaker of our event. Kaya try to contact him, basta ang gusto ni Mr. Emerson is maraming makikinig sa sasabihinn niya dahil maraming matutunan.
2113  Local / Pilipinas / Re: "Development" and "Improvement" of the Society: Discussion about Blockchain. on: November 29, 2019, 08:26:03 PM
Is it really just for the development of the society or for the money?

Yes, once we have completed a lot of seminars especially sa mga ganitong bagat at nakareceived tayo ng certification na andon tayo. We can use it to show that we have learnings and capable of doing technical in blockchain.
2114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so few women buying into Bitcoin? on: November 29, 2019, 07:57:15 PM
I think it doesn't depend on gender? Why would it, it's a mainstream theme. Majority of community here are men, so maybe we should ask women why they aren't buying btc.
Yes, it doesn't really depend on gender. It's just coincidentally that men are the majority here and interested in cryptocurrency. I wonder why women aren't interested in it. Here in our country, there's a lot of women that's accountancy and finance here but don't know bitcoin. I think we need more introduction to all of the people that bitcoin is such a wonderful piece.

Try to make a survey regarding that. All of the answers here are just opinions 'cause they're not women.
2115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: November 29, 2019, 07:03:59 PM
From my own experience I can say that the profession of a gambler is one of the most difficult from a psychological point of view. Professional gamblers are not those people who do nothing and easily earn their money, they are those people who spend a day on the fly working to improve their game. Those people who spend many hours of session working out their strategies. This is an extremely resource-intensive activity for success in which it is necessary to make an effort no less than at the factory. Only these will be mental efforts.  I have several friends of professional gamblers, not one of them considers their work a gift.
Well, I agree with that 'cause those people, professional players, are doing their best just to win. There are different kinds of strategies they should remember in every professional game. They can't easily win money 'cause they need to give their best and fight for themselves to earn it. There are many sleepless nights that they have made just to think about a strategy for a single game. Also, there's a pressure on them 'cause your opponent will be also a professional and most of them have their card on their sleeves.
2116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why are you gambling? on: November 29, 2019, 06:34:36 PM
@OP: Are you made this thread for your research or just made for motivation yourself?
IMO, I think he made it out of curiosity 'cause every people are curious if there are many people risking in gambling to gain profit or is it just for fun only. It's normal to ask some complex situations like this 'cause it's hard to tell whether the people are just enjoying gambling or being serious to get money on it.

@OP doesn't look like a gambler so I think it's for research.
2117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Much Money You Need To Win To Stop gambling, Is This Possible. on: November 29, 2019, 05:51:46 PM
Aside from recovering my losses, maybe if I have at least 5 Million (in Pesos since thats our local currency) I can stop and invest in something else that would generate a passive income like a condominium unit that I can rent out or list in Airbnb, apartments that I can rent out on a monthly basis, but I think even if I have that money already, I will still gamble but not regularly, just for fun.
So basically the purpose of gambling for you is to settle in life for good  Grin. Good luck doing that, it is a really big dream to win something big like that and the risk in achieving is much greater and hence i am not a huge dreamer to risk much to win much, i would rather wage a small amount of bets for fun for the matches i watch and follow.

Instead of gambling, why don't you try to invest in a business or have regular work 'cause gambling will also put your future at risk? I know it's a great achievement for us to win in a gambling game but later on, it'll be useless once your money is being spent 'cause not regularly you're winning. It's good for you to gamble for fun that for profit, it's a risky part of us.

Goodluck to your ambitious desires on gambling, I hope luck will be on to you.
2118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real reasons to Why do you gamble? on: November 29, 2019, 05:04:57 PM
At some point, I need extra money so I gamble but that kind of gambling is pure strategy like betting on team composition. Now, gambling is just for entertainment only and there's no reason for us to spend all of the money that we've earned in gambling. We shouldn't reason out that we're going for profit in gambling 'cause we have luck, you're wrong 'cause luck is not everywhere and there's a chance that will change your life to worst.

If you're into gambling, just don't forget to control yourself from it, 'cause it's very addictive.
2119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF] Part 7 on: November 29, 2019, 04:33:46 PM
I was so busy for our upcoming competition for Robotics at school that's why I wasn't able to come up with a crazy idea yesterday, and actually even now I wasn't so sure about a thing so here's a little bit easy for all of you.

What if you have a kid on the house and you're currently making bets online and you accidentally have a phone call or what so ever thing you might do on that time and suddenly the kid mistook it for some fancy game and make bets on his/her own, would you be upset and get angry to the kid? Or would you rather trust a child's play on this scenario?

Due to our late discussion, thread will be open until Saturday.

Regardless of a win or loss by the child betting, i will call it a carelessness by the parents who left the gambling game unattended. The children are not to blame and they should not be beaten for this.
If the parents loss by this act, they will remember this and it will be a good lesson learnt for them.

I take this as my answer too. Whatever behavior the child has, parents were the ones molding it. And if it is was a special child or something, then we still took full responsibility on that betting lost as the child didn't knew the effects of its deeds.

We should blame the parents, devices today have access to all games even gambling game. You can find it in social media, youtube, play store and etc. In accordance with the situation, the parents should limit the child to playing such games in devices, 'cause kids nowadays are very desperate to have devices to play with. I can't blame parents if they will scold the children, it's normal and nothing wrong is happening.

It's a matter of discipline and the parents are the ones to be responsible for it.
2120  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Mining o Trading? on: November 29, 2019, 04:07:47 PM
Mining is already dead, tas dito ka pa sa pilipinas magkakaroon ng business? super lugi ka so I think Trading is way better than mining 'cause you don't need expensive tools para lang kumita ng profit.

It's easy to trade now kasi open source lahat ng graphs and pwede kang gumawa ng sarili mong analysis based sa experience mo sa market. Mining cost a lot of money in the beginning kaya hindi talaga 'to maganda for business and try to read some articles now regarding mining, baka magbago isip niyo.
