2121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is BTC only for middle and upper economic class? on: July 02, 2017, 08:26:34 PM
hello..Please your opinion.

As we know that Bitcoin is being discussed right now and people hope in their country Bitcoin can be ratified as a legitimate transaction tool. But in my country, only about 3% are familiar with bitcoin. Is this because only the upper middle class knows the bitcoin, or is there any other cause? What about bitcoin in your place?

It doesn't matter if we are only 3% that are familiar with bitcoin. Think of it that while we are only 3% the price is already so what if it is going to be 5%,10% or 50% the price will be beneficial to all of us. It's not about middle and upper class, everyone is free to use bitcoin, others are not just aware that there is existing coin like this one.

In case that price of bitcoin go extremely high then it will more suitable for rich and upper class then for ordinary people, we will need to settle with some other much cheaper alt and to dream about buying bitcoin. Basically if you believe in this kind of scenario then it would be wise to save every satoshi you make, there is a little chance that each satoshi will worth a lot, and then even satoshis will be expensive for many people. But is there a chance for something like that to even happen? And if there is, when we can expect that to happen?
2122  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: i want invest money in cloud mining on: July 02, 2017, 06:37:36 PM
Thread started two years ago and still active : Scam Alert : Do Not Invest In Genesis Mining  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1185909.460

I wouldn`t recommend cloud mining to anyone, reaching ROI is very hard and where is the profit? All that waiting is not a problem, but we all know that cloud mining services can disappear in any moment. With so many good altcoins there, and price rise I would put my money in some of them not in cloud mining, or some casino bankroll, everything is better then cloud.
But in the end you are the king of your money, so invest them in what ever you wish.
2123  Economy / Economics / Re: crypto is the future, make money of it on: July 02, 2017, 01:09:39 PM
I also think that crypto currency will be future of money, so it should be kept for taking different types of benefit in the purpose of purchasing goods and business purposes, so it is a wise decision for collecting Bitcoin for the future purpose, it can be a good asset in the future.

There’s a number of reasons why cryptocurrencies are so popular. They are not controlled or regulated by some singular authority, and that attract many people that are disappointed in governments all over the world. Maybe it is too soon to tell. But if there is one thing we know for sure, it is that many altcoins have a wide appeal with a particular section of technologically, there is something for everyone`s taste. I think that cryptocurrencies are set to play a major role in the future global economy.
2124  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: btc crash now = TOP buying opportunity ? on: July 02, 2017, 11:51:35 AM
Today price of bitcoin is 2500 dollars and I believe before end of this year 2017 maybe price around 4000-5000 dollars each. So its better to buy bitcoin now because I believe the price of bitcoin in this month of july around 3000-3500 dollars so hurry up. Invest your money in bitcoin and for sure your money will grow but dont invest all your money . Invest only you can afford to lose. To prevent losing all your money.

I can`t say that I agree with your prediction, but I also can`t say that something like this is impossible to happen. In my opinion that increase would look like a bubble and that is not a good thing. 1 August is a mystery for me, I read something about it and I don`t understand what will happen after and how will people react on this changes. In this moment situation is uncertain and I need to wait and see what will happen in first month or two to be able to give some long term predictions. Price now is stable and high, even if we hold on this price until the end of the year it will be great.
2125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tell me how this strategy losses? on: July 01, 2017, 08:36:36 PM
I said many times and I will say it again martingale do not work! With bet limit you can't push martingale until the end even if you are a millionaire. How many times you can miss the bet on 33% chances to win is probably 20+, and here on forum there is people that have some amazing stories about their losing strike's.
I like to play progressive but if I gone to deep I'm stopping and changing the game, I don't have huge bankroll and martingale in most cases leads to 0 balance.
2126  Economy / Economics / Re: Is USD being used for illegal activities? on: July 01, 2017, 07:25:26 AM
I didn't saw this thread, and I'm going trough comments and I'm a bit surprised that discussion about this is last so much. Everyone and everything can be used for illegal activities and for evil agendas, nothing is immune. That is the logic, can someone explain me how can plant's that grows from the ground can be illegal? Who is that man that gave so much power to himself to claim something like that? Legal and illegal is in the end one man opinion. It doesn't represent what is good and bad in reality, I don't agree with many laws in this world, most of them are stupid and without any sense.
2127  Economy / Economics / Re: Long term argument for bitcoin on: June 30, 2017, 03:47:41 PM
If bitcoin overcomes current issues it has very good perspective for the future. It will stay the strongest cryptocurrency with highest value. Adoption will rise and so will the price, also some countries will regulate bitcoin or at least try to regulate it and to my opinion banks will be interested for Bitcoin too.

What you said, but not Bitcoin. Maybe Ripple or Ethereum Wink I agree it will most likely retain the highest price, but I think the crypto that corporate America adopts will be one of its own inception. Bitcoin is great, established, and trusted. But the very nature of bitcoin makes banks and government wary of it (pseudonymous, non reversible, non regulatable and deflationary). We will see our blockchain in everything, give it a decade. But bitcoin may not be the king at that point.

And I'm not mad at that. As long as it persists, and confidence in cryptos grow, our investments will be safe Wink

Your argument 'the crypto that corporate America adopts' have a deep logic, I never thought about it in this way. Strong countries can do many things on blockchain, bitcoin is the first and now we have a lot of different coins, what actually stops some country to make it's own coins, and with money that corporate America poses and with power to force companies, banks and people to use that coin they can dominate on the scene probably like they dominate with dollars now. Why did you mention ripple, that coins is very cheap at the moment to be compared with ETH or BTC, at list I think that.
2128  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC will be back in $1,000 ? on: June 30, 2017, 10:14:31 AM
Bitcoin price might fall back to $1000. I know we all are optimistic after the skyrocketing price in 2017. Strangly, i feel like i am the only one who remembers the fact that the community were discussing block size problem and possible hard-fork only a few months ago. I also remember the price fall the day Poloniex announced what position they would take in case of a hard-work.(https://poloniex.com/press-releases/2017.03.17-Hard-Fork/). Just like stock-market, green numbers seems to be making people forget all the bad memories.

I don´t mean to be pessimistic, but seg-wit gave Bitcoin some time to breath rather than solving its problems. Sooner or later we will end-up discussing ridiculous transaction fees and block size problems which will lead to hardfork rumors once again. Bitcoin reached an all-time high of $3,000 on June 12 and is oscilating arround $2,500 since then. While these numbers surprised the media and most Bitcoin investors, we early adopters knew that it is still nowhere near what Bitcoin can actually become. Does that mean Bitcoin can double, triple or even reach $10.000? No, i am not saying it can, i am saying it will. But, not before above problems are solved

Great comment! People forget things pretty fast, especially fast if you wave with some green in from of their eyes like you said. I'm far from expert, but your explanation about segwit and how its not the solution for problems touched me, when I think about it all this pint in that direction that this is just a first aid to calm down most of the people, while fees and blocksize will stay as a problem in the background.
For one month we will see segwit in action and many things will be clear after that, 1000$ seems like far away at the moment but with bitcoin price anything is possible.
2129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: LIVE CASINO RIGGED? VIDEO PROOF on: June 30, 2017, 08:26:30 AM
Rigged roulette is old scam, I didn't saw nothing new here, similar things you have in some gambling movies. I don't know what is the point here, we all know that every game can be rigged and every casino can turn into the scam. We are risking and hopping that our choice is good, i don't know what else we can do.
How to know that game is rigged? Maybe I bet on wrong numbers, maybe I didn't have luck, why every time when someone lose talks about scam? In gambling everything is possible right? So why 13 misses are scam right away? How many misses are not a scam for you?
2130  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you give bitcoin as a wedding gift? on: June 30, 2017, 06:09:19 AM
I would, why not? It's unique and original, something new for most of the people in this world, and its better to give bitcoin price can go up in the future and gift will worth much more one day, that is better then to give fist money.
I saw people are talking about giving bitcoins as a present to kids, that is maybe better, bitcoin is technology and new kids are much more involved with digital world then old people. As kids they will not know what they have until parent's give them that for 10 years, for that it would be good to add extra bitcoins and that can be a little fortune when a kid grows up.
2131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the ticket to heaven ... on: June 29, 2017, 07:18:34 PM
Now I see, I always thought vagina is the ticket to heaven or rather the heaven itself, 3 lolz in a row. I say lets find these terrorists and inform them about a simpler way to acquire ticket to heaven than blowing themselves up.
I like how OP is talking back to himself in his post, brilliant this community only needed some body like OP.
Wait, how many Bitcoins do I need to make sure that they will let me in? if they accept satoshis there it'd be great, we could bribe the angels to let us in, they let Lucifer in.

It is the ticket for heaven and with bitcoins you can become very rich you can have as much pussies as you like, when you are rich they just coming to you and you don't need to ask at all, with bitcoins you can have all. If bitcoin price go to the moon then most of us here would be rich, and getting rich is the dream of all people in the world. I understand what op is trying to say and I also think that money can make you more relaxed and that is heaven when you can pay for everything and to have for fun and traveling. Real life for most of us is worries everyday, how to find money to have for everything we need, and for me getting rich is like going yo heaven.
2132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What could possibly go wrong? Please, tell me :) on: June 29, 2017, 10:29:44 AM
What can possibly go wrong? You made a program that will play instead of you, like in chess right? But with one big exception, chess is strategy game where luck is not crucial, on other hand poker is a game of skill and luck and I will make one silly example, what will your program do when you get pair of aces? Do you have any ideas how many times I lost with two aces, or any strong pair? And if more players call your all in, your chances to win are lower, cause I saw some crazy hands in poker, so maybe you have luck for now with your program, cause you had luck and you played with amateurs, I think on long run you will lose more then you can win, and don`t even think about trying to play with pro`s with more money.
2133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tipping homeless people with Bitcoin paper wallets on: June 28, 2017, 03:05:20 PM
ok so if a whale hands out Bitcoin paper wallets to homeless people
would they know how to redeem and use the money or hold the bitcoin?
would they learn it?
maybe some of them would become bitcoiners or even programmers and valuable to the ecosystem

who wants to join me doing this

we need people in the usa, where there are the most homeless people on the planet, who are whales and want to help the cause handing out some paper wallets on a daily basis

Instead of handing over paper wallets to an homeless man who would probably use it to wrap weed to smoke or use it for something less worth the value, why not just convert the bitcoin into cash and donate to his life to make it more meaningful. Even majority of people here if given paper wallet will still have to carry out some readings to know how to go about it not to talk of those individuals who would probably be hearing it for the first time and the stress of redemption might even be too stressful on them.

You don't know nothing, as a passionate smoker I would never roll a cigar in some crap paper, and I'm little disturbed by your statement, a lot actually! Before you take weed in your words next time try to learn more about it, you are acting like some smart ass and its very annoying.
This topic is not a discussion about bitcoins at all, op is talking about giving money that he probably doesn't have, like this guy here that talks about smoking weed but he never saw weed in his life.
This topic is a pure miss and deserves to be placed in of topic.
2134  Economy / Economics / Re: If you have a lot of bitcoin, should you spend it or save it? on: June 28, 2017, 10:19:25 AM
Depending on what you need.  I mean, if you do not really need the money and you are for really investing then you have to invest/save it.  But since you have a lot of it you can actually both, spend and save at the same time.  We know how much is the worth of bitcoin, so better if you spend it to save.  Spend some for you to earn some.  And you could always spend for some wants because that is what the use of money, to spend and be happy.

You said two very smart things, spend some to earn some, more spending can bring more profit, but all that is in vain if there is no happiness, without happiness why would we live. Should someone spent or save bitcoins is personal decision, and that should be made after summing wishes, needs, and obligations.
For people who doesn't know where and how to use bitcoins then saving is recommend I think, that will bring profit in future and that is better then to spend it on something stupid now, so keep them while you don't find some perfect way to use bitcoins that you have.
2135  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone else think "long term" hodlers are idiots? on: June 28, 2017, 05:34:36 AM
This question have many sarcastic answers, like it should have. Someone can try to trade, someone can try to gamble, some people are earning and saving and there is nothing bad in that, what more this strategy can be very good for the long run, people who save (just to point out that I'm not a saver) are thinking about future, but for 5 - 10 or more years into the future, not like me from today for tomorrow.
Long term holders, or hodlers are not idiots, its their choice and we need to respect it. Everyone have a right to decide what will do with earned bitcoins: spent it, save it, or try to make more from what you have, what ever choice you make its good and there is no discussion about it.
2136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading vs Gambling on: June 27, 2017, 06:59:57 PM
I think that trading is better as opposed to gambling because with trading you will always have something instead of nothing, even if its millions of a shit coin alt currency with gambling you can bet all your btc and lose it.
Trading and gambling are two very different fields I don’t feel it fair people comparing these two.
Gambling is a hobby it something for a fun sake while trading is seriously for money making. I think there will be a very low ratio of people gambling and want to earn with gambling otherwise most of the people gamble to spend some quality time.

It`s almost impossible to compare trading and gambling as you said, but they have many similarities when we observe them carefully. Both trading and gambling ask for high bankroll, but its possible with skills and little luck to make money with some minimum investment. Also I`m sure that a person need to have special characteristics for both trading and gambling, cool head, good timing, to know when to quit works for both. I think successful person on one filed have good qualifications to be good on second one also.
2137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the current price drop considered a normal phenomenon? on: June 27, 2017, 03:45:42 PM
Yes it`s normal, bitcoin had many ups and downs on its way to where it is now, and I don`t think that this price movement will ever stop. Everyone say that fluctuations are normal, then its normal to go up or down, if its just going in one way then its not fluctuation and people would not earn money with trading.
Bottom line is `what doesn`t kill a coin makes that coin stronger`, bitcoin survived many things, and now its stronger then ever before. I think that some other coins can follow bitcoin. if developers improve their coins to be better and fight for them, promote them even when times are hard then this coins are worth for us to pay attention on them.
2138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Feel sorry for the panic traders/investors for selling at low. its now all green on: June 27, 2017, 08:50:34 AM
The market is still uncertain but I am in it for the long term. So no worries here.

I think market is uncertain from the start, it`s like that with all new things that need to adopt in this world. Almost after a year in trading I understand why its best to buy in times when everything is red, and when you see everything is going down its the right moment for shopping. I also keep my alt`s and I don`t plan to sell anytime soon, in next period I`m waiting drops like this one to buy more and to make my stash bigger and bigger after each drop. Here some people feel panic too fast, they see red and they think game is over, I`m more stable person, gambling teach me to stay cool even when everything is hot.
2139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why I suddenly decided to leave gambling alone. on: June 26, 2017, 01:21:59 PM
Some of us enjoy in gambling, doesn't matter do I won or lost I enjoyed in process. When I sit in my chair after busy day I wish to relax on my own way, and I like to turn on some poker and try myself, I enjoy in a good poker game, I love other games when I have money for spending on that, some games requires big bankroll.
All in all OP have his version of gambling, try to gamble for fun not just to win big money and maybe you will lkkr the games like I do.
2140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin savings account? on: June 26, 2017, 10:32:14 AM
Except feebitco.in I don't know any other  place where you can get interest just from keeping money on that place, and to be honest how much trust we can have in any service that offer's something like this?
Its better to buy a trading bit if you have enough money and just let it work and you will have profit every week, month, depends what is your goal, in any case trading bot or maybe even investing in casino bankroll sounds good, that is much safer in my opinion then giving bitcoins to someone in keeping.
