whenever i hear or read that i lost a close friend from the old times, which i haven't seen/heard of for a long time (over a decade), i look up the music we shared in our times of close friendship. It's like temporary revival in the form of memories, because you don't have a chance to experience their presence ever again. I use the music to start the process of letting go. I know that dying is a part of life, which allows us to be able to feel these kind of things. I don't beg for condolence here, by the way. Maybe some of you remember one of these persons, who you wanted to call or write for longer times, but didn't make it yet for whatever reason. Good night/day. fucking timezones!Meanwhile, king daddy does what king daddy does... ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif)

Bought $500 at the bottom around $50390. ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) Boy this felt so good! Being the worst trader in the world I supposed that buying that amount could have aided the drop to get bigger. For the first time it was not the case and I can proudly admit that I bought the dip at the bottom! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Congrats. I guess you deserved it, after buying the tops most time before. I was unlucky, bought about two hours ahead of the dump, but it was my own fault. I forgot to check the CME BF expiry dates.

Damn it, how to I get them to be upside down again. ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif) Scroll the pic completely out of view, then scroll back. Sometimes it's sufficient to scroll the regular one out of view and look away from the pic for a second. You know, when I first saw the pic, I saw the plates upside down. I tried hard to "flip" them, and I managed it.
Now, every time I see the pic, I see them all normal (not upside down), like my brain has learned it that way!
Strange stuff...
Now that's the good aspect of my bloody mind. It forgets. Every time the pic scrolls into my view i see them upside down again.

Battling for €45.5k, after that including $53.5k-$54k is to break. Wall by wall to the top ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) So kind of them to recognize his brilliance and his outstanding contributions to computer science and his WW2 code breaking work at Bletchley Park, considering that the Queen pardoned him and cleared his criminal record (for being gay, of all things) as recently as 2013, almost 60 years after his death!
'Society' is a f** up concept ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) Consider that we are still apes. We about only lost most of our fur, grew oppposed thumbs and developed complicated ways to communicate.

After a day of non-stop working, my wife just ranted that i told her to buy some corn, before the price went down. She said: If you wouldn't have stressed me to do it, i could buy now at a better price... I replied: Look: Bitcoin is volatile. This made your initial investment go about x20 over three and a half years. Now your gains are only about x19.3 (at the moment), so what exactly are you unhappy about? You think about a gain like it's a loss. You should probably start to think in terms of BTC instead of money. She said: You're right. It's better to think about it this way. Good girl ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) EDIT: Corrected the numbers. It was about x19,3 not x18...

Eek. If my line is right... we are in for some rough waters...
Share your lines, damnit! Scroll to the up ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) you're resistance is incorrect, we never went through it. Price currently at support line. On chain analysis however says that solid support is at at 47k level. Yes, i admit. But i posted the same lines yesterday, and also said they're not precise and i didn't adjust them for longer time. However, i doubt that we are going to test the strong support at the time. Still missing buying pressure, though.

Weird, when we have an inverse shampoo pattern or a W, we had a breakout, but this was completely sold back. We have 4k candles in the 5 minutes Charts. Sorry but that is not normal. Are Bots in some kind of war currently?
More bots playing on the market for sure. But patterns are some kind of "oldschool" stuff that might not work well with crypto. I think i experienced about half of the expected outcomes of the patterns i know. A pattern is a hint, or hope for, not a guarantee for a certain market movement. We're at the old probability issue again...

Maybe tell Rick that this is the one life he got to live, nobody knows how long it's going to last, and he should think about respectfully using this gift instead of thinking about cost-overruns. Maybe try to find out his dream and help him realize it, too. He has to switch modes from wage-slave to retired-and-rich-as-fuck.
Yeah, it seems that anyone is still going to need to account for budgeting decisions and to keep track of moneys, especially the larger purchases.. so for example, if based on finances, there was a decision to buy 200 acres, and then after considering the physical layout and various practicalities of "wanting more", there was a decision to buy an additional 40 acres, sometimes larger purchases are going to trigger a need to reconsider financial matters, and if there was enough money in the petty cash fund to cover the 40 acres, then there might be questions about replacing money in the petty cash funds to cover such a likely large withdrawal. Sure, sometimes there still can be assistance from accountants, but still there might be some considerable difficulties to completely forget about money and just live in a way that is "rich as fuck." I don't claim to be any kind of expert in regards to figuring out how to spend some moneys, and sure there could be a certain amount, such a $1million or $2million that ends up going into a "do whatever you like" fund, and but I really doubt that the whole budget can be ignored, even if there were $100 million in the fund, if you go out and start buying yachts and planes without really considering maintenance costs and staffing costs, the funds could get depleted if they are not categorized and attempts are made to contain some costs. I agree. A "want anything" mindset is not the same as "rich as fuck" (RAF). My priorities would be ordered like: 1. Fulfill dreams 2. Leave out the useless things (=not-dreams) 3. Constant balancing of these two priorities. Many RAF people just want to show off, experience the unexperienced and also want to be adored for their richness. The latter would manifest in things like (many) gold plated supercars, buldings designed by the most expensive architects in the world, private spaceships (SCNR), stuff you don't really enjoy, but more just play with. A fishing bay, a racetrack, modern fence, kettle... seem more like sane but still exclusive things to (really) enjoy. That's two different pairs of shoes, as a popular saying in my home country goes.

That's the most important news. The fact that they accept bitcoin is known for long! But the JP-Morgan news last week should have us moved up the 65k easily. As a rich person you can buy Bitcoin from JP Morgan. But we are in a highly manipulated market. This week the opion expiring will cause market movement. We will see, if someone will dump on the tesla news as well... I would not wonder, if we go down again, because the market is manipulated like fuck! (sorry, the last 3 weeks of bullish news should have us moved so much higher, insted we testes 54k again?! Yeah ... totally natural market behaviour!) Yes of course there is totally normal and natural market behavior and manipulation is ONLY one factor, so why the fuck you focusing on one factor and trying to make some kind of case for being able to see what is going on or what you believe is going to happen, which may or may not be what is going on and the predictive value of your whining also seems quite questionable at best. Yes, the BTC price goes down based on a variety of factors including the fact that it went up, including going up more than 20% in March, so far, in spite bouncing around a 9% correction (at $56,200) from its March 13 top of $61,782. What the fuck you expect? The BTC price to go straight up, then you can proclaim that there is no manipulation and the price is moving with the news, blah blah blah.. nonsense? Even if you zoom out a wee bit, you should likely be able to appreciate that in the past couple of weeks, the BTC price has largely been bouncing around a 5x to 6x price appreciation that had happened largely since about early September.. sure slowly at first but seemingly increasing as we had gone along into December and thereafter... So you believe it is quite obvious that BTC prices should be continuing to go up from here.. What a bunch of nonsense to create such unidirectional expectations, even though, sure, the UPpity may happen and may continue, but then again, there may be some need for a correction.. whether your little whiny ass can hang on or not in the event that such a large correction might take place.. and sure the manipulation including the creation of large corrections is to shake some of the whiny asses like yourself out.. take your profits now if you might not be able to hang onto a BIGGER correction that may well take place long before more UPpity.. or a sufficient amount of UPpity takes place to your likenings. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fslm-assets.secondlife.com%2Fassets%2F22676722%2Fview_large%2F56kmodem.jpg&t=663&c=FHQpOxdpT0Scvg) 56k "in MINUTES" actually made my day. Full Disclosure: Waiting for funds to clear so I can clean out my balance on the exchange, and loading up for a small sell order @ $60k USD for further funding of Ranchero Lawblaw. Hoping it happens in this tax-quarter.
Was going to wait for $75k and sell a larger chunk, but purpose-selling at $60k for the ranch build is justifiable to me.
Rick is already starting to stress out about cost overruns, and I'll be Goddamned if I'm going to let dude cheap out on my dream ranch-home build, so, yeah. Gotta smack that little bitch with my wallet.dat again.
"Yes. I want a fucking fishing dock. I don't see the problem spending $15k to have one properly built, goddamnit. Yes, I understand a new high quality fence will likely set us back $50k-$60k around the perimeter. Yes. I expect the bridge engineering and construction to cost north of $100k" sorta shit.
We have problems.
Following the one thing i learned from the dude that hands over the lottery price to the winner(s). After handing the suitcase full of cash to the winner, he always asks "so what you're gonna do with the money?". And most people tell him whatever. But if one of them says "i haven't thought about tha...t", "i don't know yet...", "i'm not sure...", he said he always replies: If you don't know how to spend it, you should use this money to fulfill your dream(s), for a start.
He said that this always was an eye-opener to these winner(s). I see you're doing exactly that. Just my two cents

Unfortunately, some people who know I have bitcoin seem not to care for my opsec and will happily discuss the fact that I hold btc with anyone they feel like. Which is annoying, since I don't go around talking about anyone else's finances. So I am wondering how to address this issue. It didn't seem to matter many years ago that I had told a few of my friends about my btc holdings but now, at these prices, it's something I wish I hadn't done.
Anyone else in the same boat?
Pretty much everyone... Yeah, I was discussing this with my gf the other day. She has family members that have told loads of other family members. It’s really irritating, I don’t want to be having to face questions like - ‘So how many bitcoin do you have’ ‘What are they all worth’ ‘When will you sell’ Mind your own damn business. I don’t ask to see your wages or bank statements, assholes. Yeah it’s suddenly started for me. People asking how many I have, including teen kids of friends. I don’t tell them of course but still. Boating accident in 3... 2... 1... ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Good thing was, when we started extending the house, bitcoin price was sub $10k, so it's absolutely plausible that i had to sell all my corn to pay for work and material. So, i'd recommend you to think a bit about your "exit story" and do some rehearsals with your wife and/or kids.

Totally off-topic: I've recently discovered the following YouTube channel: Soft White UnderbellySome very powerful interviews there, from people on the fringes of society. Well worth checking out. Oh god, one of my very favourite ones, too. "Gummo - the hacker" is imho the best i can remember. And the guy with the hole shot in his face. Deep stuff.

Bitcoin @ $53k / BTC...
OMG, gloom, despair, agony, deep dark depression, excessive misery, bad luck!
I wish there was a time machine to quote this message back in 2016...
I am quite lucky, i simply have so little time to watch the price ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Though, i'm quite surprised. Bought the top, too... Short-term price is irrelevant. You are quite lucky indeed. Later this year, WOers will be wishing they had bought Bitcoin as cheaply as you... We're thinking the same, actually ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif)
