2181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Transaction disappeared in blockchain, lost my bitcoins (: on: January 30, 2014, 10:23:22 AM

3.  22 Dec. 2013, I sent the .3125 bitcoin to Multibit wallet, address: 1LuMokUofndYgrBD8KRgfsjgDC4d7JPC73

So, you have problems with Multibit, and you have the private key of the above address, right?

If so, you can just forget about Multibit, and import the private key in other wallets such as Electrum or blockchain.info.
2182  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: BOUNTY 0.05 BTC for Mining of raw transaction on: January 30, 2014, 10:11:22 AM
Do you know where I can find their usernames? Thanks for your help!
Indeed, you can find the info easily on the mining pool board. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=41.0

For example, this is the owner of btcguild, eleuthria. It seems he is online at this moment.

2183  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Computer hardware for 400-600GH/s hashing on: January 30, 2014, 10:01:23 AM
lol @ all the miners who have never mined SHA-256 commenting about GPU speeds...

 Grin
People don't really understand what is different between mining btc (sha-256 based) and ltc (scrypt-based).  Smiley
2184  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: New Revolutionary Mining Technology on: January 30, 2014, 09:56:42 AM
No offense, but I can't really take it seriously when I can only see the 3D render.
2185  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Need some technical help/advice on: January 30, 2014, 09:50:29 AM
right now I'm GPU mining.

It will not be profitable (at all) with GPU mining bitcoin now.
It would be better for you to mine some other scrypt-based altcoin with your GPU and then sell it for bitcoin. Smiley
2186  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Need some technical help/advice on: January 30, 2014, 09:48:21 AM

BFL? Trustworthy?
You must be kidding me lol.
2187  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BTCpoolman.com down on: January 30, 2014, 09:44:09 AM
Has anyone ever gotten a payout from btcpoolman? i mined there for couple of months on and off and they still didnt find a block apparently... so ididnt get paid... is that possible? they usually run at 4~500ghs, surely theyd get one blk every couple of weeks, right?!

they've solved one block. At 500Ghps and current difficulty, they can expect a block every 31 weeks.

lol.
The difficulty will keep rising and the pool hashrate will keep dropping (some old users will leave), the expected time for the next block could be much much longer. Smiley

EDIT: The pool hashrate is now down to 350 GH/s at this moment.
2188  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: BOUNTY 0.05 BTC for Mining of raw transaction on: January 30, 2014, 09:36:59 AM
The chance to have a pool operator wandering around the forum and spotting this thread is slim.
Maybe you can try to send a PM to the pool operators.

Good luck Smiley

Actually, I'll have to uninstall the driver, it's giving me a check hardware error now >.<

2190  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: hash rate versus bandwidth on: January 30, 2014, 09:23:17 AM
No idea about the exact bandwidth usage.

But, it is very low if you set your share difficulty correctly.
2191  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: BOUNTY 0.05 BTC for Mining of raw transaction on: January 30, 2014, 09:15:38 AM
Hello,

I made three Satoshidice transactions but forgot to specify a transaction fee, so they are stuck in limbo with 0 confirmations.
And I would like to cancel this transaction anyway as I should not have made these bets in the first place.

If one of you miners can include the below raw transaction so that it can be included in the blockchain before the unconfirmed transactions, you'll earn a BTC 0.05 bounty.

The raw transaction can be copy pasted from here:
http://pastebin.com/VDG74F2r

I appreciate your help!

You want to double-spend this tx?

2192  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: p2pool not paying out? on: January 30, 2014, 09:04:39 AM
With your hashrate, the variance is pretty high when mining at p2pool.

You may try the other pools like BTC Guild or Eligius, if you like.
2193  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: what's the most efficient mining hardware available? (bachelor thesis) on: January 30, 2014, 08:50:14 AM
i've 150gh that's currently mining an average of €0.047 per minute (1/2 - ish)
happy.

How is this supposed to be possible?
Mining Calculator calculates per Day 0.03438524 BTC = $27.42  with 150gh and current difficulty

yup, you're not far off. good cooling is the key. open window behind the rig.

there are 3blades from what you can see above - the first of the three is showing ^
I'm not sure how the cooling makes 150 GH/s mine faster than 150 GH/s.  At current difficulty (2,193,847,870.17) mining rate should be around 0.000229 BTC per day for each GH/s (based on Eligius pool) so with 150 GH/s you would be clearing €0.016 per minute before power TODAY.  Maybe you haven't re-calculated in a few months.

With overclocking, you could improve the hashrate a bit, but definitely not that significant. Smiley
2194  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: BitOfGlory.com - here's another one. on: January 30, 2014, 08:46:42 AM
I set up an account as of Friday with Bit of  Glory. So far I received excellent service. I have not yet tried to wire any profits back to my account. That will be the real test.
From what I understand they just started this site in Jan. of this year. Sounds like they have some bugs to iron out which is understandable.

I signed up Tuesday of last week. I received excellent service and signed up for 5 TH/s. Their dashboard is really good the BTC earned in this week is consistent with what I would have with physical hardware. I have actually received a payout which is scheduled weekly. My first payout I requested earlier on that Sunday to see if it was legit. They told me that it took two days to process and I would receive through bitpay. I did in fact receive 6.6btc from them on Tuesday, two days after Sunday as stated.

Second sentence, essentially the same message. Are they working from a script?

Don't forget the two accounts are recently registered, and all of their posts are related to this site.  Wink
2195  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Pointing your miner to others peoples Pools and workers? What can go wrong? on: January 30, 2014, 08:40:35 AM
I would like to purchase a 220 G/H rig but there is no guarantee someone would send one to me after I paid.

I was trying to get rid of the miner for 3600 USD because it was Craigs List. Where are you located Phazon307 If in the USA we may be able to make a deal.

Don't forget to use escrow, it will be good for both of you. Smiley
2196  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: new to mining (i know nothing sorry) on: January 30, 2014, 08:39:34 AM
Before buying any hardware, check the hashrate, difficulty history and plug those figures into a profit calculator.

IMHO, it would be better to simply buy the coins (btc or ltc) directly than buying mining hardware.
2197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can I do mining with a normal PC? on: January 30, 2014, 08:36:54 AM
Will you be mining at at lost? YESSSS

Well, some people will keep mining, even at lost.
They could be mining for fun.  Wink
2198  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Hi I am new to Bitcoins on: January 30, 2014, 08:35:27 AM
I learned that in a whole month I could make 0.00102704 BTC with my computer.

No, you could not.
Difficulty will rise every 2016 blocks (~12-14 days) and your revenue will drop.

I want to go at 1.2 GH/s to generate a good amount of bitcoins a month. But is making a mining Rig worth it? I don't plan to Buy bitcoins, I plan to mine them.

No. You wouldn't get a good amount of bitcoin with 1.2 GH/s.
No. It doesn't worth it.

2199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $75 fee? Why????? on: January 30, 2014, 08:29:45 AM
Anyone mining with currently available hardware is mining at a loss.

All ASICs are still profitable to run. Even the lowly original USB Block Erupters make more than they cost in electricity.  BFL units are more efficient than those, and several others are quite a bit more efficient than BFL's.

Derp.

Its not profit if you havent gotten your investment back.

So yes the mining cost is more than just the operating cost (electricity).

You might be making more than the cost of electricity but you will never have ROI.

The word he used is "ASICs are still profitable to run", which is correct.
But too bad, I cannot get any ASIC for free.  Wink
If anyone send me a ASIC for free, I am more than happy to run it lol.
2200  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Help me for my first time buying bitcoins on: January 30, 2014, 08:24:00 AM
I stop at step 3. When i drag and drop the wallet.dat file, i've got always the same errors, captcha false ( it's not false ) and "unexpected end from file server", even if the password is false, true, whatever i type.
Thanks for helping

Just a friendly reminder, don't forget to backup (or memorize) the seed (12 words) of your electrum wallet, and use a good password.
