1221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Most profitable pool right now on: February 07, 2014, 11:32:10 PM
do you know any page where can you quickly determine which pool is the most profitable right now? If not would you be interested in such tool?

Most profitable pool?
Or, do you want to know the most profitable coin to mine?

I mean most profitable pool. I need to quicky find which pool does the most BTC/MH/Day right now, for last 3 hours, etc..  Wink

As bitcoin mining is a random process, what you are looking is indeed the most luckiest pool...
1222  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: 3-5000€. Help me get started on: February 07, 2014, 11:06:54 PM
Want to improve mining bitcoins.
Found alot of decent rigs but seems alot of rigs that are really fast are all scams and never seem to deliver..

Are there any pre-build rigs ready to mine with decent speed to solo mine with? Or some site(s) where you can order hardware and build your own miner?

If this is not the right place for this post, I'm sorry.

Greats.

At this moment, it is not profitable to buy hardware and mine bitcoin.
It would be much better for you to build GPU rigs to mine scrypt coins and then sell them for bitcoin.

worst advice ever!
never gonna make ROI. scrypt asic will run you over.
really not a good time to buy any mining gear!

Can't agree with you on that...
Yes, those scrypt ASIC is starting to come out now.
FYR: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=424987.0 and https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421921.0)

But, I believe you can get ROI if you build your GPU rigs now (not weeks later).

1225  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitcoinchef.info is NO Scam - is Paying with Proof - Email from William M Tracy on: February 07, 2014, 10:47:33 PM
BitcoinChef.info is ALWAYS PAYING

All ponzi scheme keep their promise and deliver the money to users on time in the beginning.
But, they will eventually collapse when there is not enough new joins.
1226  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [scammer] Face0ff on Localbitcoins, beware! on: February 07, 2014, 10:41:38 PM
In the time since I posted this, the buyer has acknowledge the issue publically and appears to be working to resolve it.
I just want to be honest.  It appears someone scammed him and paypal is busy unwinding his positions.

I'll post more as I have it.

I would be interested to know what happens next.

I am waiting for Face0ff to refund me 4.6613 BTC. If it doesn't happen in a few days, I will go after him like a hound. I will post here if I get my Bitcoins back from him.

Good luck to both of you.
1227  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Want to purchase BTC via PayPal, what is safest method? on: February 07, 2014, 10:39:27 PM
I want to buy 1 BTC once trading opens up again.  I would use paypal, and want to know what would be the safest seller to get BTC through.

It would be very hard for you to find a trade, as you are using a new account with no trade history at all.
It is the seller that need to be worried about chargeback, not you.

1230  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CEX.IO on: February 07, 2014, 10:32:30 PM
people buying on CEX.io are insane - the asking price right now is almost 3x what a GH will ever produce from mining. Everyone seems to just want to use the site for day-trading, then complains that they made no money

Exactly.
No one on that site cares about the mining revenue at all, even if there is a built-in profit calculator.

1235  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: BTC transfer on same exchange on: February 07, 2014, 10:16:45 PM
How long does it take to transfer BTC from one account to another at the same exchange.Suppose I have 2 accounts at Coinbase and I transferred BTC from my one account to the other.Could it sometime like when we transfer BTC from one address to another?
It should be instant and off-chain (you couldn't find the tx in the blockchain)...
