so this will be like a MtGox?
Kind of, mtgox is a market where you can trade bitcoin for USD. This is a market where you can trade bitcoin for stocks, bonds, and futures certificates issued by bitcoin uses. It allows coiners to pool their bitcoin resources to achieve a common goal. For example, coming together to form a bitcoin mining co-op, or even in my case where sveral forum members including myself have put our funds together to build this market. And once we earn profit, easily pay to our shareholders. It also means users or groups can look for loans in the form of bonds. As well as allowing users to trade on the market. No bank accounts involved.

That's a really good comic.

Haven't set it up with testnet, and the amount really doesn't matter, 0.01BTC is plenty to play with.
Not to mention that not everyone has testnet btc.

The command line client is almost ready for action, see here. So while this is being perfected we've begun design and development of a graphical interface for the exchange. Get the source and run it from github here, requires Python and pythonWX. The initial design document is here as a pdf. Thanks to kokjo for the GUI Feedback welcome. Some screen shots.

Also, looks like you haven't finished future contract yet... it has the same oath as the bond contract
The only difference between a bond and a futures contract is what is that the nominal is bitcoins for a bond, and some specified commodity for a futures contract. The both must pay the nominal by the maturity date. Anyway great news, the server is back again, with a few changes as well as a tutorial. See here

Nefario, r u starting a new anonymous stock exchange like to talked about in your recent article?
No no, my article talks about setting up an anonymous currency exchange, which allows the exchange to get cash from clients while remaining anonymous. This a a stock/futures/bond/ and more market.

A domain market will probably be pretty easy with the upcoming sharemarket project.
The two will go together like bread and jam, tea and buiscuits, cheese and crackers, and any other combination I can think of.

Sorry about that, tried to get the last updates done before rushing out the door (let that be a lesson, never do anything like this in a hurry as you'll mess it up). I'll fix that soon(next couple of hours, just back from meatspace work, require meatspace fuel) and update this post then.

After the previous rounds of testing some fixes have been made and now we're ready to start again. For those of you who have already installed the various python dependencies you don't need to do anything except get the latest client code either with git or as a tarball. See here. https://gitorious.org/black-market/pages/WindowsHave included some sample contracts, have a look at those. Try depositing only 0.01btc to play with. Buys, sell and trades are posted to bitcoinglobal on twitter so see whats there. Will be releasing a tutorial on how to use later today. Gotta go, have fun.

Thanks for the help guys.
The issue was a combination of sshd freezing on one server, and the network here being very congested so as not to get a connection to the other server(for a good while).
I started to panic an thought that the government was blocking ssh, they're blocking more and more vpn services so I thought why not.

I need to know can anyone else ping and get a ssh prompt for the servers below.
glbse.com dev.glbse.com
I'm able to go to them in the browser, and was working on them but suddenly got cut off and can't get back into either of them.
Let me know if you can do any of the above and your country.
I have a feeling that the government here has just blocked my servers.

I was thinking that I have a server that is running say... a http service on port 9090, so I would give you an ip and port 123.122.122.1:9090 , you then have your server forward traffic from a tor address to my server.
Easy, right?
Very Easy. ... but what if your have a dynamic ip... say 123.122.122.1 today 123.122.122.67 tomorrow, many people have that. then you would need to update it every day, or you people could not access your site. you could also make some kind of auto updater, but i don't think people will use it, they would just run their own tor server If it's a real server (or a vps) and not someones MacMini in their bedroom then this will not be a problem as most real servers have a fixed ip. Running our own Tor server is a pain, we don't want to run our own Tor server for the same reason most people don't want to run their own DNS server or mail server etc. How would we go about having the forwarded traffic encrypted, the easiest way(that is the smallest amount of work from my side)?

I think what you should offer is Tor forwarding(especially with such limited resources), that is have it set up so that your server has multiple Tor (or i2p) addresses, and then forwards the traffic from those addresses over a https connection/tunnel to another server(which only you and your client know, don't keep any traffic records).
This will allow others to get onto Tor and run services from there without the hastle of having to run their own node software(which is a real pain), it also means that you will probably be able to get the most out of what little resources you have.
You can certainly do this with i2p, I'm not sure about Tor, is it possible to have multiple .onion addresses for a single Tor node?
At least, this is definetly a service that I want (and I'm willing to pay for), I think others would really want this too and you could easily charge a modest fee. Help people register a .i2p address that goes to the server too, would be great.
This is an area that my syndicate will be moving into in the future (after a few other things are taken care of), safe, secure hosting withing cypherspace.

Well you didn't answer the question, are you based in China or abroad? It does have potential, but after looking at my own experiment trying to get my students to use bitcoin I have difficulty seeing it being much here, at least it would already have to be a big success abroad before it's even looked at back home. Also see this article on why exchanges for RMB will be somewhat late to the party, the answer, no Chinese miners. It's the same reason the world uses USD, to pay for oil. http://bitcoinweekly.com/articles/good-and-services-china-s-path-forward
