2181  Economy / Economics / Re: Untouchable Savings: Do you have it? on: February 14, 2023, 07:43:01 PM
I can say that I have it but it's in the form of bitcoin. I'm sure that everybody feels like that when we don't really want to spend bitcoin because we have a common goal and that's to hold long term.

But time shall come that even if we're solid with that decision of holding and untouching it, we will have to spend and use it to something that's very important.

Even if we don't like the selling price, it should be done.
2182  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin inflation wilder than fiat? on: February 14, 2023, 01:42:59 PM
In general, the government that sees bitcoin as more stable than USD. They're not really a lot, only very few and little countries sees that and that's the reality.

But we'll come to that point that even the biggest and poweful countries will have to consider that but, they'll have to test the waters if it's going to help their economy to grow.

They cannot assert to an asset which is highly volatile and say that it's more stable than the traditional one that they've used to have.
2183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost Bitcoin? on: February 13, 2023, 11:57:39 PM
2 years won't be enough to say that they're lost forever. Here's a news that hasn't been moved for 11 years --> https://decrypt.co/120905/dormant-bitcoin-address-moves-400-btc-after-11-years

Long term holders are wise.

We can't assume that if a wallet didn't have any activity for 2 years, they're already lost. Just like what's with this news, after 11 years it has moved.
2184  Economy / Economics / Re: In your country, today is money the real root of all evil? on: February 13, 2023, 10:33:59 PM
Money is a tool to do the things that we love.

We shouldn't love it but we gotta use it so that we're doing the appropriate thing which is to spend and use it for certain things that will make us happy.

Today's time is dangerous that people will do everything for the money. As they've explain, it's not the money that's the root of evil but when you love it more than yourself.
2185  Economy / Exchanges / Re: JARVIS Exchange. Exchange Money on Turkey, China, Russia. on: February 13, 2023, 04:50:43 PM
I still see some Russian texts, are you just trying to focus on your Russian market? Anyway, I've got a little concern just about your name.

It doesn't sound like an exchange though but more on this.

Jarvi'sexchange.com

LOL.

Anyway, I've used the same service but what hugeblck has brought up is a concerning matter. We'll wait for your answer towards usage of the same address and your system shouldn't accept wrong address format the other cryptos to be sent or accepted.

Our name has its own interesting explanation.
Everyone has seen the movie Iron Man. The main character had a virtual assistant named Jarvis.
(J.A.R.V.I.S.; Just A Rather Very Intelligent System)
We want to become a virtual assistant in the exchange of cryptocurrencies and work as flawlessly as he worked in the movie) We are learning and doing our best for this!)
Yeah, jarvis is very familiar to me.

I just had that thought that it sound like x-rated when I've read it continuously when I've visited your website. The meaning suits but instead of rather, the one that I've searched says "really."

Anyway, it's not really a big matter about the name but what's more important is the concern that has been said above and hopefully that the devs you've notified will act on it quickly.
2186  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Currency trading without knowledge on: February 13, 2023, 01:27:59 PM
And even if you use a bot, you still have to make settings on it so it can run the way you want. But if the market immediately reverses, you still have to set up the bot again. And that means you must still have the knowledge and ability to use bots properly.
Having a bot don't guarantee anything but it automates your trading which will save you time.

It's true that there's still a need to setup the bot and you can't just buy a bot and expect that it will bring you profits on an instant.

Making such with bots is a combination of your knowledge in trading and also what you know about the market. There are newbies that think you'll get profits easily by just having that but no.
2187  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC Silver and Gold on: February 13, 2023, 10:34:09 AM
I am curious. How many of you also stack gold and silver in addition to BTC as a hedge for inflation?
I want to invest in gold but not with silver. Although I know that these precious metals are still way to go for conservative investors but, thanks to bitcoin that I have been introduced and known to bitcoin.

Instead of looking at these two, I'm with bitcoin and chosen to pick it rather than going with precious metals. I think that if we're living in 70s onwards then silver might be the best pick.

It's like a gold rush back then and not just who rushed to have it and those who have sold shovels earned a lot.

Now, we're also into like that moment but it's like more of bitcoin rush.
2188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Act local and think global on: February 13, 2023, 08:30:49 AM
It's going to be a matter of time.

It seems that everything is being set and put on the table and we just have to wait until everything finalizes. The governments have already been aware of its existence and the digital revolution that they might join.

While for individuals, it's also being known that the word of bitcoin has already been heard somewhere but it's either they don't know how to buy it or they really have no interest at this time of owning it.

But it will all change when they see its price soar again.
The limited amount of time we have needs to be used effectively because time does not wait for anyone. Since bitcoin began to rival conventional currency, governments have been trying to outlaw it, which is the main cause of the cryptocurrency's slow growth. Depending on how you want to look at it, Bitcoin is both local and global. One of the most popular projects in the area has drawn large crowds interested in understanding how the area is regulated and runs. More people relying completely on the project means that Bitcoin has a bright future in this area. As a result, it may be relied upon to quickly and confidently obtain monetary pieces.
Yeah, time might not wait us but we don't have a choice but to wait until satisfying price of bitcoin is being hit. The governments that have been interacting and starting to adopt it, sees the same thing as what we can see with it.

The great potential that it possesses is undeniably good and that's why even them are into it.

~~~
But it will all change when they see its price soar again.
In my opinion, as long as this is maintained, bitcoin will be used and accepted globally very quickly. As I have seen, every time the bull run comes, bitcoin hits a new ATH, and more institutions and countries will be interested in bitcoin. In 2017 we did not have any company or country participating in bitcoin, but in 2021, there are many corporations and countries investing in bitcoin and seeing it as the future. Honest, I don't see bitcoin adoption being slow, it's actually happening really fast.
It's already being used and accepted, globally. If it's not then we're not using it and that's why it's already been there and you and I and the others as well are enjoying the use of it.
2189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Act local and think global on: February 12, 2023, 11:57:31 PM
The adoption of a concept and system that has disrupted the accepted standard of currency was going to be a slow and arduous process. I think all things considered, we are ahead of where I expected to be when it came to awareness and adoption in 2023.
And people that are thinking that it's quite slow in progress should even be happy with it because, they're still early on adopting in.
The talks of adoption progress is actually fast but if it's quite slow in their eyes then so be it. But to look at what's happening in every side of the world, the adoption is continuous, whether it goes fast or slow.
In recent years the adoption of bitcoin have taken faster phase. Prior to that we had been experiencing slower adoption as the user count is low and had big opposition from the governments. Now things have changed alot and the same lets people use bitcoin and have more stores and services accepting bitcoin.
It's going to be a matter of time.
It seems that everything is being set and put on the table and we just have to wait until everything finalizes. The governments have already been aware of its existence and the digital revolution that they might join.
While for individuals, it's also being known that the word of bitcoin has already been heard somewhere but it's either they don't know how to buy it or they really have no interest at this time of owning it.
2190  Economy / Economics / Re: Can one achieve financial independence through crypto currency? on: February 12, 2023, 10:31:49 PM
-snip-
This is the image that I've found though.
[image]
Looking at the image gives the idea on what we can really achieve with bitcoin. With all the inflation and stuff that we're dealing with from time to time, there goes bitcoin that are giving that sense of freedom financially.
Bitcoin has a stable inflation rate and can protect the value of money from falling in value due to inflation. This makes it an attractive alternative for people who want to achieve financial freedom and protect their wealth from currency devaluation.
Here's a more recent picture that corresponds to the Bitcoin History
I like this image even more.  Tongue
I think by means of that you're talking about deflation. It's known that bitcoin is a deflationary asset and this is the reason why we're on it. It's true that it's protecting the wealth and value of our money from these crazy inflation rates and they'll keep coming year after year.
Well by 2025, we'll see a new image that contains some decent house and lot properties in addition to that comparison image. And hopefully, most of us will achieve that, just keep on holding everyone.
2191  Economy / Economics / Re: Can one achieve financial independence through crypto currency? on: February 12, 2023, 07:12:46 PM
Given these factors, the dream of financial freedom can come true by using crypto currency?
A big yes.
This question made me look for that image that's comparing how much you can buy with certain amount in the past through groceries and with bitcoin.
This is the image that I've found though.
Looking at the image gives the idea on what we can really achieve with bitcoin. With all the inflation and stuff that we're dealing with from time to time, there goes bitcoin that are giving that sense of freedom financially.
2192  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why full time to crypto why not to Skills on: February 12, 2023, 05:50:32 PM
Good point, you needed to have an extended efforts to established other skills aside from your crypto knowledge, it can be a big help in case you are not making anything from your crypto investment, like what you said, it can cover your finances if you have other skills and let you do some side jobs or much better to have a full time job and your crypto investment will serve as your side job.
Crypto skills is a good advantage while having other sources of incomes to finace all your needs while holding your investment,.
It just so happen that most people now are flexible.
Whatever they see is profitable, they go there. And just like a gold rush, this is why many people are rushing into crypto and having it as an investment. Some may consider that owning a crypto makes you skillful but that's not really a matter.
It's just a matter of being too early and the choice that you've made. It doesn't also means that when you're early, it guarantees you a profit, no - not like that.
So, you choose where you're good from and enhance your skills there and if you want to add another, with too many resources that you can find online then you can do it anytime.
2196  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it true that 80% of the world's wealth in the hands of 20%? on: February 11, 2023, 04:55:16 PM
There is no way to make it balance. The inequality of it makes it the actual world and reality.
Even if there will be potential ways of making things balance from these powerful people, they don't wanna do it because that's the thing that's on their minds.
The imbalance is making them powerful and even with such power to make things happen for the balancing of the state and citizens, it's not part of what they wanna do.
2197  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What after localbitcoins.com shutting down on: February 10, 2023, 10:39:54 PM
I've used them years ago and then never used them anymore when I've seen that my needs can be found in the popular exchanges these days.
It's sad to see that some big known P2P will have to go. I'm now having the idea that the other of the same service might also announce their official closure soon.
Yeah, every time there's a closure it's all about the bear market that seems to be the big catalyst and where the blame is being point to.
2198  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Share Tips For Newbie Traders on: February 10, 2023, 08:16:41 PM
Those that feel boredom in trading, maybe this isn't for them. A business or something that you do becomes boring when you're not enjoying it. But upon getting the positive results, that will change everything.
If it's a financial matter and you're earning from it, that boredom will never be seen as a word again from your perspective because you're having a great time doing it.
You don't get bored once you start making money from anything including trading.
2199  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC bulls back? on: February 10, 2023, 06:27:57 PM
Don't trust Influencers too much about the opinions they sway, they only take advantage of our situation to panic or really don't understand more basicly, but when speculating, I don't think we should be taken more seriously, basically an Influencer just wants more followers. when speculators about bitcoin pay a lot of attention to it, so don't make it a source for you to buy something coins that are only influenced by them
They're all giving contents that they want viewers to get hook with what they produce. So, anything that's favorable to their viewers, that's what they make so that they won't move away from them.
I agree that you don't trust any of them. If there will be influencers that we should trust, they are very minimal and few and sometimes they're not even active at all.
Don't trust them if it's about the analysis in the market, sometimes they're not even correct and are just giving opinions that just like us, we have it too.
2200  Economy / Economics / Re: A steady source of income is a man's bottom line to support his family on: February 10, 2023, 12:26:46 PM
If you're thinking that something might unforeseen to come and happen to you then you have to secure your family through availing an insurance.
It doesn't really look important at all when you're not in a tough situation. But availing a policy of insurance will make you feel secured for your family.
When you're the bread winner and there's no other people that you can rely on then, you have to protect yourself through it.
