2241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: January 01, 2017, 05:45:56 PM
It is official. Monero won title of most profitable Crypto in 2016:   https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1732516.0

That's impressive. 2916,30% rise in just one year, wow. Unfortunately I wasn't into crypto world in the beginning of the 2016. Now I wish I bought XMR with as much money as I could afford. So, did some people from here earn big money with Monero?

Yes the investment has been rising for a quite bit.
Here is the lesson for all of you guys who are pondering wether to go all in Monero or not.
I bought initially at 0.004 on average, then the period of dumps occured (which is still present quite often). The lowest point Monero has been trading this year is 0.01356669 btc per coin on Poloniex.
Actually, it is even around 20 % higher than the highest point in 2014!!!! So, do not panic if you buy on the peak. Do not let the trolls to convince you to sell your coins when the price drops after a pump but keep buying. I was lucky enough to buy more.

Congratulations, you've done it right.  Same thing was happenning with BTC in the 2014 when people who bought at $900 were selling at $450 listening to the trolls. They should have bought more and wait till today and then they would be in profit.
2242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto trading or gambling on: January 01, 2017, 05:11:13 PM
What much profitable (less unprofitable). With same bankroll, crypto trading (ICO and other) or gambling?
I think crypto trading, but i'm never did it regular, only hold some btc. Start not so long ago and  buy augur on presale and not much other coins. And here now it seems to me, that the odds better than odds on bets or poker

You mean the odds to make profit? I don't think they are better actually. It's more or less like in poker: if you knew what card would come up next every time you play you would be winning constanly. Same with trading: if you knew when the dump will start you'd sell all just before that and you would be in profit. Without knowing it's all risky.

Happy new year !!!

Stunna today happy hour. pls pls pls

Go get a life instead of begging for a few cents every hour, bloody degenerate.

This one is a bit too much xD
Still I agree with the... principle.

Happy hours are presents from PD, don't go like begging for them ^^

I agree. Although I don't think it's right to be so rude on the New year's eve, I don't approve begging in general.

Happy New Year to all PD stuff and to all users of the site! Have a great time, guys!

BettorChain, thank you for this awesome giveaway! I wish you and all you love all the best in the Year 2017!

If I win this prize it will be the biggest amount of BTC I have ever had (I'd managed to earn less than 0.1 so far). That would be a fantastic start of the year.

Happy New Year and all the best to all bitcoiners!!!

Our wager contest is over! Congratulations to the winners. Another 0.50BTC was given out !

Congrats to the winners! Unfortunately the amount I wagared on KingDice is very far from being compete. 0.50BTC is a big money, kudos to the site owners. What was the biggest prize btw?

Here are the prizes:

1st -> 0.23 BTC
2nd -> 0.14 BTC
3rd -> 0.1 BTC
4-6th -> 0.01 BTC

Thanks for your reply! Those are great prizes especially with today's price for BTC. Although there are not many players online on your site every time I check, looking at your Top Wagers section I can see that some good amounts of BTC were wagered on your site already. Good job!

How the luck he is fuck  he is name is (HuckAndFuck) Shocked
Nice run 5x go play pd he up 50BTC
Goodluck huckandfuck  Wink

Yikes! He is basically some huge whale with probably about 500-1000 BTC in his possession. To be able to martingale like that using 5x AND with such huge amounts takes loads of balls.

I wouldn't be surprised seeing him go bust one day however betting like that. Or who knows? Maybe he will clean out PD totally.

lol depend when he stop . he playing like cool i wish hop he end of good
  don't hate u  Wink

He lost it all and at other account he got -50 BTC profit. He said he lost 107 BTC last night. I just wondering why he didnt stop while he got 50 BTC profit and withdraw all his profit? or maybe he's too greedy?

That's the problem almost all gamblers encounter with. No matter how much they won they just can't stop and withdraw the winnings. I've seen it many times happening, but not with such big amounts. I hope the guy in question can afford to lose 107 BTC in one day, although it's hard to imagine such a person.

2253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I bet you have never lost more than this !!! on: December 26, 2016, 12:22:01 PM
Hey guys !
Brutal loss from a player (Note : Its not mine )
check this betslip and feel whatever you can : https://nitrogensports.eu/betslip/7af03ffaUdhTkxRaFF4N3RTMGFnMzRNOWxldz09/r/702986/
How in the hell did this happen?
------------------
Edit : 10/12/16
------------------
On Reading the posts i found that this guy has won a lot also:
1st win : https://nitrogensports.eu/betslip/92e95e2WlY2WGJiUzllUnh4aGJ6NnZENWx4UT09 == won 50 BTC
2nd win : https://nitrogensports.eu/betslip/dc7140eeUFxYm43Wm1BWnU2UmcveUI0bDMxUT09 ==  won 50 BTC
3rd win: https://nitrogensports.eu/betslip/c6791ebN1dHakVaM0MxcFJSUHNRdWd2M0V5Zz09 == won 95.5599 BTC
4th win : https://nitrogensports.eu/betslip/62a97bbWU5SamIyTDI3OWJVeG1HNXJkNkhUQT09 == won 65.61 BTC

Analysis:
Total wagered (including loss bet): 438.19021 BTC
Total win: 261.1699 BTC
Total loss: 216 BTC
Net gain : 45.1699 BTC

It shows that the user had around 222 BTC before making any above bets i.e his bankroll is 222 BTC !
Idk what to say seems like the user is a paranoid.

So from all of the above we can make a conclusion that the guy is in profit from betting there. Idk, looks like an ad for the site to me. Everyone wants to gain 45 BTC, so the guy is very lucky and I'm glad for him. But I wouldn't recommend anyone to try to earn money that way. I mean don't try to earn money with gambling because it is very unlikely you'll succeed and most likely you'll become a gambling addict.
2254  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin has power nowadays ? on: December 24, 2016, 04:24:19 PM
Bitcoin has power nowadays since many are using bitcoins online for investment and payment for job order. Aside from that the increasing price every year has attracted many users to invest in bitcoin. Many are also saving their money not on banks but purchasing bitcoins and save it on their wallet. Bitcoin is seen to be more safer than bank and offers high interest and you have it under your control.
Also bitcoin was regulated by some big country, its proof that use bitcoin is not dangerous. The bitcoin price is strong becouse the demand is always higher than the supply.

That depends on a period of time we take into consideration. Sometimes the demand is lower than supply and that is when the price of Bitcoin is falling. It wouldn't be right to state that there are times when people don't need Bitcoins. They need them always, but at what price that's a question.
2255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which gambling sites have 0% house edge? on: December 24, 2016, 04:07:42 PM
Looks like what u have said has no fundamental difference with what I said. Not sure why did u say You're close, but not quite right either?

Because you said that a X% house edge means the house has X% more chance of winning than the player. However, that's not quite true in the generic case.

Let's say I want to 10x my money on PrimeDice. I have a 9.9% chance of winning, and the house has a 90.1%. That corresponds to a 1% house edge, even though the house has a +80.2% more win chance.

So it's better to think of house edge as "how much expected profit will the casino make" divided by the size of the player bet.
Yep. U r right. We can not make a statement like X% house edge means the house has X% more chance of winning than the player. I stand corrected. The statement should be...

A 0% house edge game is just 1% more likely to go bankrupt than a 1% house edge game.

I'm more than agree on that. Indeed most gamblers are losing not because of the house edge but because they can't stop in the right time. Even if you are lucky and you are winning you will lose eventually because no one can be lucky always. House edge has only little effect on that.
2256  Economy / Economics / Re: I have 12 BTC in my Account, How should I invest this?? on: December 24, 2016, 03:37:17 PM
Bitcoin itself is a huge investment , i suggest to secure your account well and make it offline \ cold then come back in two years or so to see the profit return perhaps at that time 1 BTC = 4000 USD . who knows Huh

This is a good suggestion. At least he will not lose all his money this way. Having no experience in trading or investing you better don't go for it after receiving some advices from strangers. Even if Bitcoin will not rise that much you will have some profit for sure after holding it couple of years.
2257  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: December 24, 2016, 03:29:53 PM
I am trying to use reward points to increase the hourly payout and this is working but it is very hard to claim every hour as in our country we are facing troubles with electricity, I have see that some traders are working with script which is giving them top prize on hourly basis. I want to know about that.

all the "scripts" are in reality trojan horse viruses or some malware
it is impossible to claim top prizes on hourly basis it is just pure bullshit
you must be lucky to get one of the top tear prizes and I was never able to get a 20 or 200$ prize myself

I have never managed to get even $2 there although I've got $0.2 couple of times which is not bad also IMO. And I agree about the scripts, no one should download them, ever. What really surprises me is that people are still keep downloading those malicious scripts.
2258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why trading is better than gambling? on: December 24, 2016, 03:08:27 PM
Hey! guys i need your opinion and help because i didn't know about this trading thing i only know about how you can earn bitcoin by gambling but still my friend told me that gambling is not the way to earn bitcoin but if you try trading you will earn much profit why is that so guys? trading is better than bitcoin? how? why? where to find that trading thing?

If you wnat to try trading thing you can go to yobit for example and after depositing 200k satoshis (I don't remember the exact number but something like that) you can try trading. Most likely you will lose your money in a matter of hours if you have no experience in trading though, but it is still worth trying IMO.
2259  Economy / Gambling / Re: I am in a BUYING frenzy! on: December 23, 2016, 06:21:05 PM
hey folks i am ALWAYS buying Bitcoin gambling sites!

If you have a gambling site or MoneyPot app you want to sell, hit me up for a quick deal!

I think it would be very hard for you in making a transaction with other bitcoin users because you have a negative trust even myself would have a hard time in trusting you in my opinion.

But as far as I know he can use a trusted escrow and then there should not be any problem.

Have you bought  any sites yet, OP? If yes, you can provide some info on that so people here would trust you more. Good luck with your buy anyway!

for sure this is the best faucet ever

It might be the best but so many adverts sucks!

Have you been there lately? There are no ads on the site right now, not a single one. This might depend on the place you are visiting the site from, but in this particular case I think you'd have no ads too since the owner had stated recently on this forum:

Quote
We decided to stop accetping ads for ponzis, fake gambling and MLM websites because people were losing money to such sites despite the warnings we show, since they somehow seemed to think that websites advertising on FreeBitco.in could be considered as "trusted".
