2241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol - May 7 on: April 14, 2022, 02:02:59 PM

It's Bivol territory to defend. He should prepare more for this contender who's challenging his belt. Like what many of us wanted to see a close match and not a jab and run, Bivol would be a nice one to face Canelo. If he can take those solid punches, his chance would be better beating Alvarez.

Though, it's really a tough job for him knowing how good Canelo was, but it is worth the try if he upset and wins this fight.

In less than a month, every speculation will be concluded.

Bivol should perform his best during his fight against Canelo especially the game will take place on his territory not just to defend to his belt or his title but to give honour to their countrymen. But like what we always have speculated we knew that Canelo will outperform at this game and we will expect that this man will going to perform his best like what he always do. But let's wait and see when the game starts and our speculations will be concluded.

Wherever they will play this fight, I still think that Canelo will win, it's not about defending or whatsoever, it's about winning and the better fighter will win.I don't see enough reason on why Canelo will lose this fight, he was an undisputed champion on the division he left, now trying to beat a champion, I thnk he really knows what he is doing.
2242  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: NO RISK, NO REWARD on: April 13, 2022, 11:45:54 PM
Mistakes aren't a failure, it somehow gives us the benefits of being aware of what we doing.
Investing requires knowledge that you and your friend have missed out. Experience whether bad or good literally change our mindset and most of the time once we suffer losses (or get scammed) we generally then think this is not a good investment.

For me, I don't invest in something I do not know. Of course, we need assurance and that is really what we need to secure first before making a step. Partially I believe in "No Risk, No Reward", it can be changed if we do something.
2243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: April 11, 2022, 09:56:11 PM
Ginebra has the biggest chance of winning in game 3 because they have a huge crowd, I'm not sure in game 4 if they can even the series, maybe they just don't need a crowd to be on their side  but the refs as well, you know what I'm saying.  Grin

As always, they can rely on the refs if the management wants this series to extend to game 7.
I've seen that many times that's why we need to be diligent when it comes to putting our bet, always analyze carefully the line offered as it could just be a trap from the smart bookmakers.

Also, Meralco could take the lead for 3-1 standing, but it does not mean the series could end soon because we all know that Ginebra is #NSD team, so they'll come back, of course with the help of the refs and tie the series. That's just some crazy scenario I'm seeing from this series.
Just like what SMB did few seasons back, they were able to win a championship after being down by 3-1 in the series, however, there's fajardo that time and I think it's an all Filipino cup. Here, we have player imports, if one import will struggle, then that's a big advantage on the opposing team.
2244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 11, 2022, 09:41:29 PM
Good luck @YuginKadoya, I know this is a tough game for the Wolves because Clippers are packed up with veterans with good experience in the playoffs. However, I believe that there's a good reason why the Wolves are listed as favorites and for sure Wolves will not waste the opportunity at home as they worked hard just to reach at this stage even without a bad start.
2245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] George Kambosos vs Devin Haney - Undisputed Lightweight Title - June 5 on: April 11, 2022, 09:16:11 PM
Great fight for this year, of course, Haney will be listed as the favorite but I like Kambasos because he has a heart of a real warrior. I'm pretty sure that he will not back down, he would do the same damage as he did against Teofimo Lopez and we will again see an upset here.

This is a big challenge for Haney, he should not underestimate Kambasos who are coming from a big win.
Kambosos, who is a unifield lightweight world champion, probably has an edge on this event because the fight will be held in his country of origination. And seeing how he manifested his great boxing skills in the ring, that makes him very capable to win over Haney and make him the undisputed lightweight champion. Definitely a great and exciting fight that we should not miss.

Honestly, the only advantage of Kambosos here is that he is fighting in his country, but in terms of skills, I would always go for Haney to win the fight. But who knows right? maybe Kambasos could pull an upset like what he did on Lopez.

here's the odds of the previous fight of Kambasos.
Quote
Lopez is a massive betting favorite on the moneyline ahead of this title fight. Betting apps give the champion boxing odds of -1000 to win the fight, despite the fact that he’s facing a fellow unbeaten. Kambosos Jr. is a whopping +600 underdog at DraftKings Sportsbook for upset-minded bettors looking to score big.

2246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: April 11, 2022, 08:47:55 PM

The way how Meralco is defending Ginebra right now, yeah I will not be surprised as well if they will beat the Gin Kings.

JB struggled because of how Hodge is defending him. Hodge is like the Patrick Beverley of PBA where he is just annoying their shooter and not doing any stats like points etc. and we can see that he is very effective defending Brownlee because his performance dropped massively in the 2nd half. On the other hand, nobody can stop Bishop from scoring because they don't have any legit defender that can defend him. If only Japeth is playing :|.

There is a famous quote in sports that is "Offense win games, defense win championships" and with how Meralco is playing, they might defeat them though I will stick with my prediction Smiley.
Such adjustment that being done by coach Norman Black, the two coaches are very familiar with each other and I'm not going to be surprise also if we will see much dominant Ginebra coming this game 4, The defense is too tight for Brownlee and that's the courtesy of having Hodge who's more on winning the game instead of taking care of his personal stats.

But we can also expect explosions from Ginebra's locals. They are also unpredictable once the heat starts to fire up.

Another game to watch if who's going to dominate, either Ginebra will tie it up or Meralco will have a two game leads.  Cool Smiley

Ginebra has the biggest chance of winning in game 3 because they have a huge crowd, I'm not sure in game 4 if they can even the series, maybe they just don't need a crowd to be on their side  but the refs as well, you know what I'm saying.  Grin
2247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: sports betting sites that return your money when you lose. on: April 11, 2022, 08:28:27 PM
One of my friends had also used this site, you can really see that their money is growing every day, there are no losses had to happen to them in every bet they made. That is really tempting, in fact, many professional persons are already joining and they had never thought about the legality of the site, they just think about the money. But what if one day if the sites close they can no longer get their funds from the site?

This is what I'm worried about to the latecomers and those who are still holding their funds in their accounts.

2248  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN will rise on: April 11, 2022, 01:39:02 PM
This could've served to be a start for new bullish move, but there is also accumulation of big volumes by the whales. With specific time period the market of bitcoin bounced crossing major resistance barriers. It looks like the market is experiencing series of change. This change is expected to make positive impact on the market, but nothing big have changed.

Market prediction is common, everyone come forward with the moving trend, but the reality coincide with very few people's prediction. Even now it has formed the bullish expanding pattern, but there is no big move in the price.
Yeah, even we saw the positive move of the market, however, we're still unsure of what happens next, can't assure if Bullrun will pursue or just get back to correction again. As I look at the chart, the trading line is still moving up and down, can't find strong supports that could hold the market from going down and this is really possible even if we saw the surge.

We couldn't assume that we are moving forward, definitely, the market moves sideways.
2249  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I handle this? on: April 11, 2022, 12:30:11 PM
It really a bad idea to introduce someone into crypto currency if they don't asked you about it,
I certainly disagree with the idea.
We are telling others for the sake that they will learn something from us. We are imparting knowledge with them and it was not bad, actually.

Quote
with the rate of scam and love for money in this country now most people might even think you want to scam them, especially when their investment goes wrong. Alot of people are inpatient when it comes to money issue and you can't blame them. Money is very hard to find now. So it best you make your crypto knowledge hidden especially from people who are not into it already.
People got lost their investments, people got scams, and that was because they fall into the wrong investments, easy money schemes, Ponzi schemes, and many scam tricks. But, if they just listen to us, there are no such things going to happen.

We need to clear and empty their minds about thinking bad/negative against crypto. Just to help them know that not all crypto is scams and we can avoid them if we do the research before investing.
2250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can anyone recommend me a safe place to store my bitcoins? on: April 11, 2022, 11:19:10 AM
Can anyone recommend me a safe place to store my bitcoins?
The majority are recommending a hardware wallet...
Well, I guess you already have the answer OP. But the question is if you buy hardware that is worth enough to store the amount of your Bitcoin? What I mean is that, if you have 5 BTC at least, probably you need it but if you only have 1BTC, I suggest using online wallets like electrum wallet.

For the many years that I've used Electrum wallet, never I experience being hacked, I think it was a safe wallet and it was free. Well, of course, security also matters in how you manage your keys.
2251  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Crypto Signals trading on: April 11, 2022, 08:58:26 AM
I have used a lot of trading signals but the results have never guaranteed 100% profit, even I have used bots or robots for trading and have lost, this proves that the market will be difficult to predict and makes us always active to monitor prices, better profit with a small nominal rather than keep thinking the best technique.
While trading signals do not work we also need to be fair, no one can predict what the market is going to do 100% of the time, so to expect a free signal or one for which you paid a few dollars to be able to do something like this is simply impossible, and even if such a thing existed do you think it would be available to the general public? In my opinion that would have to be one of the best guarded secrets around the world, as anyone with that knowledge can become a billionaire regardless of their starting capital.
These trading signals never work actually and certainly can't find reliable signals. We can't change the nature of the market from being unpredictable. I'm not against the use of this stuff but we have to be aware of the situation that these things could never give us assurance nor guarantees profit from following them.
And besides, if these signals (paid) really work, many traders become rich. But why are many traders still poor and suffering losses even using them? This means that none of any trading signals are effective, they are just a scam trick.
2252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NFT's hype over? on: April 11, 2022, 08:37:22 AM
Judging by the latest news, I noticed that the interest of NFT industry leaves a double impression. On the one hand in the same March there was a drop in interest in NFT from retail traders and those interested in this direction of the crypto industry.

We've seen a huge drop in NFT as metaverses projects come to rise stronger. The growth of Metaverse has a huge impact on the NFT's market trend. We usually could assume this was a sign of the end of hype. But I think this was not enough to draw a conclusion that these projects become devaluated in the market, however, if the declining sentiment continues for a while, that will be the time we can finally judge what they looked like in the days coming.

Let's see how they perform this 2nd quarter if their popularity and demand haven't changed or there is a huge drop occurs.
2253  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: In a world where trust fails on: April 10, 2022, 10:33:45 PM
Well, the truth OP is that people hardly give trust each other because of many scam scenarios happening around and this even pushes us all not to easily trust someone.
P2P transactions, the use of an exchange, and even the people you've talked to online can also be questioned. I'm not going to say that TRUST totally fails but if we still see this scam issue continues, many years from now, everyone has probably been asked to do the KYC as a sort of safety precaution that we are dealing with the right and trusted person.

2254  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you using trading indicators? on: April 10, 2022, 10:07:27 PM
indeed every trader has a different strategy to be able to profit in their trading, whether it's using indicators or reading news, from social media or from any source, the most important thing is that they can understand how to make good trades and can make profits, over time Of course, over time, you will definitely be able to analyze market prices and be patient or sometimes get caught in the trade, I'm sure if you can keep trying and don't give up easily, we will definitely be successful.
Traders will indeed find a way to succeed and make a profit despite the volatility of the market. They use everything that is available in the market, in fact, the use of indicators is not the only thing available and could give assurance for them.
News, price charts, indicators...so many options to choose from but, of course, will choose the one that could help us most. RSI, MACD, and a lot of trading indicators, however, not all of them are effective.

But what I see that we needed most is to improve our TA, skill, and decision-making.
2255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: As big as binance in the future on: April 10, 2022, 01:49:28 PM
I'd use the google search engine and has been found this
https://www.forbes.com/advisor/investing/cryptocurrency/best-crypto-exchanges/

Not that far but Kraken and crypto.com is been very close to Binance at this time. It was to know the tough competition with these exchanges but as long as Binance will sustain and even improve its services, no other exchanges could surpass them.

The majority are expecting much from Binance that we could presume that majority of the traders will still vote for this exchange than the others.
2256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are we going to see a new altcoin boom soon on: April 10, 2022, 01:03:37 PM
Most of the market is beginning to pick up in recent times and altcoin look left behind in the recent market boom.

What are we going to expect from the altcoin market with this new market boom will altcoin see a new phase in the market or Bitcoin will continue with the market trend?
We've already passed half of the month since this post but look, we haven't yet seen a huge surge in the market particularly in the altcoins. It looks like we've not seen another Bullrun this quarter, I'd presume a change late this year before the end of 2022. But then, we're supposed not to expect it, we're actually glad to still see the market still at high despite the war and FUDs.

Well, for now...the best thing to do is accumulate more while the price is cheap.
2257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: April 10, 2022, 11:45:47 AM
We can only speculate they are already met twice so they know what to look on their opponents, but what I noticed in this fight is he is slow very slow now, very slow compared to his last few fights maybe because of the age or strategy, the third match could be very different this time Canelo will be the heavy favorite but I'm not counting out GGG yet, his chin is a big factor, and he is a good candidate to beat Canelo compared to the present crop of challengers.

Yup, GGG was too slow in his fight with Murata but fortunately for him, Murata was much slower than him that's why he had some success in the later rounds as the accumulation of punches on the head has taken its toll on Murata.

I would say that his chance of beating Canelo is so slim not like in the first and the second fight where the odds are almost even.

He was slow but he was strong enough to absorb the punches of Murata, as if nothing happens to him and Murata's power is not that strong to knock him out. I think GGG still has it, if he will face Canelo, I think it will be a great fight and I don't expect he would lose via KO if he will lose.
2258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: April 10, 2022, 11:13:33 AM
I like this game, it's not like the game 2 where Ginebra takes the 1st half with a huge lead, Meralco seemed to be adjusting well and although they are down, at least they are not down big time. Still plenty of minutes to be played, may the best team wins, I think I'll go for Meralco this time, with the spread of course.
2259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you, or would you ever use a Bitcoin ATM? on: April 09, 2022, 11:24:31 PM
I could say yes if that become available in our country. Some countries are already using this, it was safe actually knowing that the machine could also generate code/phrase but what something it worries us if the machine is legally operated or not, and we don't make this a reason to seize our Bitcoin.
Some reports that Bitcoin ATM machines have been confiscated last year

For as long as it was permitted by the authorities, it was safe to use. I surely use this stuff sooner once available.
2260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for best staking platform on: April 09, 2022, 10:07:30 PM
I have 12 million shiba inu tokens and I'm looking for a platform to stake the tokens for more tokens which platform is the best for staking shiba inu for 30 to 120 days maybe.
Presumably, you cannot use Binance to stake your Shiba Inu for that amount unless you cut some of that as the limit was just only 7 million maximum.
Quote
Shiba Inu Requirement

The staking exercise will officially commence today at 02:00 AM (UTC) and will be on a first-come, first-served basis, Binance added.

Notably, the staking duration for Shiba Inu cryptocurrency will span for 10 days, as interested participants will be required to stake a minimum of 200 SHIBs and a maximum of 7 million Shiba Inu tokens.

https://thecryptobasic.com/2022/02/17/binance-launches-new-staking-program-for-shiba-inu-shib-and-other-cryptocurrencies/
But you can use https://crypto.com/ instead.
But for me, I use to split my funds to different sites. Our safety is our main concern. Let's say half on Binance and half on crypto.com.
Well, we just have to know that staking doesn't really give decent rewards, so don't get surprised that you will just receive pennies even if you will stake for many years.
