1281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 07, 2023, 11:58:35 AM
What a CHAD game from LaVine last night against 76ers as he was looking unstoppable , scoring a total of 41 points and most likely his points made Bulls to win that game.

Recently , I didn't hear anything new about LaVine unhappy situation with Bulls , or the guy is just doing his business and he will leave in summer but at this point , there are no fresh news indicating he wants to leave anymore.
Maybe the issue was already settled, and that's good because Bulls are now playing based on our expectation.
If they will again be in the playoffs this season, it should be different compared to the last and I think they have a chance to advance.
Well, it's necessary that the big 3 are healthy.

Bucks ...after Giannis had a career high scoring points , they lost immediately next game against Hornets and don't get me wrong but Hornets were played amazing last night even if some important players from Bucks played a few minutes.
They are due for a win, and it was a big time win because beating the Bucks by 29 points is just crazy.
1282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 07, 2023, 11:30:19 AM
We never know who will take the title, both teams are deserving and they are really fighting for that award, I like also to see our local team to defend our league, not being bias but Ginebra's magic always bring the fans the enjoyment they deserve.

But Ginebra will surely defend their home, this series might reach game 7 but that game 7 belongs to the home team which is the Gin Kings. Imagine if this will reach game 7, I can't imagine the total number of people that will watch the game, last time it was 17k, maybe all seats will be fully book in game 7.
1283  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone out there doing money by trading? How? on: January 06, 2023, 02:38:13 PM
The more I learn I am kind of coming to conclusion that trading in the long run is not profitable.
I thought the more you learn, the more you know that trading is profitable but I was wrong, and I think also that this is not for you OP.
Quote
I mean I don't know any single person who is doing decent amount of money for living by trading in crypto. Hence the question: do you know anyone who is successful trading in crypto? or are you doing well by trading crypto?
I believe in rumors, not news, and the ads we've seen on the internet but I was certain that many traders have a decent income from trading. Yes, not all went well, and not all survive (just like you) but there are a few traders who successfully win their emotions and reach their goal. But as I see into your story, it was hopeless as you already think that you fail in trading.
1284  Economy / Economics / Re: A career - as an employee or a business owner which do you prefer and why? on: January 06, 2023, 01:56:49 PM
Well, this is the truth, many people are seeking a job and become an employee for many years until they gain ideas and experience about how the business runs. And I did too before starting a small business and with the help of my experience and market exposure, we also know how it works.

But I would say that being an employee is not a way to become financially stable, even after working for 20 years or more.
However, being a business owner also takes bigger responsibility and needs a strong management system to succeed, it is somewhat hard to imagine but the reward is great.
1285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 06, 2023, 11:26:59 AM
Great start by Bay Area, they seem to keep this game close, even without their import, they are still competing very well against the Gin Kings. They definitely have a chance to win here, but they should keep their composure especially in the 4th quarter where they usually choked.

Japeth was the missing link, here, let's see if he can contribute with better numbers.

End of the first half and the Gin Kings is up by 8 points.

If this trend continues, Bay Area Dragons will lose this game as they are reduced to a jump shooting team and no plays down low where they can fish for a foul which they were crying for while Cstand and Justine Brownlee wreak havoc the middle which the Dragons hard a hard time stopping.

With what a witnessed in the first half, i already accepted that i'll lose my bet.  Sad
Looks like Bay Area is not giving up, they are down but only a single digit.

The score now is 55-56 in favor of Gin Kings. I believe the deciding quarter here is the 4th quarter, and let's see if Bay Area can still keep the game close and probably win by upset here. For sure Powell and Nicholson would be so happy to see that.
1286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 06, 2023, 10:45:00 AM
Yes Bro, but it turns out I lose all my bets, should have bet on the opposite and parlayed it, I should have good money in my wallet. haha.. Anyway, my journey is still long, I'll just book that as part of my losing streak which soon will be broken.
That's why I really admired your courage there.
The two TNT-covered games today are both blowout games, I thought I am going to be entertained by a close game match and record-breaking stats. I guess I expected too much, it ended up a bit boring especially the Nuggets vs Clippers game. More minutes were given to the bench team.
The clippers and Nuggets are supposed to be a great match up, everyone is playing, and their star players are present so it should be a close game, unfortunately, it does not turn out that way, it's like a no-bearing game, and the home team just enjoys dominating the visiting team.

Maybe this clippers team will bounce back next time, just like the Celtics when they had a blowout loss against the OKC.
1287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The mistake I made some years ago on: January 05, 2023, 09:46:50 PM
The pyramid scheme is also known as a quick-rich scheme where many people got to fall into this kind of investment because it looks promising and tempting. I can relate to that situation OP because one of my friends got also into that scam and even tried to invite me but lucky because I have no money at that time, I didn't join him. We will just know a few days that the founder has been arrested because of a scam issue and money laundering.

That is the beginning of why many people think that Bitcoin is a scam investment because many people use the word "bitcoin" to scam people.
1288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 05, 2023, 12:43:16 PM
We have mixed reactions, some are criticizing the bay area players for being cry babies, while some agrees with their sentiment. They call it an 8 vs 5 game, that's 3 refs favoring the Gin Kings. But anyway, I think it's not totally dirty, Ginebra also have some great shots and good defense that's why they were able to come back.

And with that crying over the officiating of game 3, coach Brian Goorjan of Bay Area Dragons was summoned by PBA commissioner Willy Marcial maybe to discuss or talk about his comments which were not good for the PBA while the PBA has also fined Powell and Blankley for their comment on the said officiating.

I'm betting for the Dragons but what they have done (crying on social media) will not do good on them and after watching the replay of the game 3 fourth quarter I would say that the calls were not too obvious against them, its just that they missed some crucial shots which could have put the Gin Kings away.

I'm beginning to think that Dragons is not appropriate as their moniker, Dragonfly may be appropriate for their action.

Haha, they cried because they think they can dominate the Gin Kings. They have a huge lead in game 3 but slowly Ginebra were able to come back. Their import is really good but he was limited in that game compared to his production in game 2. I also like to believe that the new import is not better than Nicholson and I would say we will have a close match again in game 4, as to the winner, let's guess.
1289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 05, 2023, 12:03:36 PM
Apparently, some of the Bay Area Dragon players voiced out their disappointment in twitter about the officiating of game 3.

Blankley and Powell are summoned by PBA for their comments on officiating. You can read the news in the link below.

https://www.msn.com/en-ph/sports/basketball/bay-area-s-blankley-powell-summoned-by-pba-for-comments-on-officiating/ar-AA15ZpeQ?ocid=msedgntp&cvid=1586c138c5784b59b44029017745da3b

What are your comments about this? I was not able to watch the whole game so I cannot comment on this but would like to hear your thoughts about this.
This is one of the reasons why I've lost interest in PBA and so are others. Unfair calls always happen, not to mention the farm teams. Like, PBA has become a joke. They knew they are losing fans but still, they keep on digging their own grave. Basketball from neighboring countries is getting better while PBA is getting worst. There's no hope for this league. We won't be seeing the glory they had back then.
Even some PBA fans does not like some calls, well, obviously, PBA does not want the Bay Area Dragon to win the series because that will destroy their prime. Therefore, we should be smart when it comes to betting on this series, Ginebra should be the right call all the time, if you lose, just double it.

You dont have to ask this actually since you are already posting in Gambling discussion section in which there are tons of posts and replies that you can check yourself about the result of each betting.
there are winners (with huge amount) there are also losers , there are even scam victims while there are also many who cheats in casino.

what you get is what you deal off.

meaning all your action will reflect to what is deserves you , gamble only with reputable casinos and only spend the amount you can afford to lose.
It is pretty obvious that OP is using a non-reputable site or scam site. I'd not say he deserves to have losses but I think, it was time to open his eyes and see what he does. Every action has corresponding results and very unfortunate that his experience gives him the wrong idea pointing out that casinos are scams without trying trusted sites.
I'd lose some money in gambling many times but never I say they are a scam because I know that some people are so lucky when it comes to gambling.
1291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: According To me Ethereum Looks Weak on: January 02, 2023, 11:51:45 AM
You are predicting ETH into a terrible thing happen but I don't think it was right.
Honestly, you can't assume OP that will happen to ETH. Let's say it was weak in your view and opinion but if you look around and do some searches, you can find that ETH is more valuable than any other coins, even BTC. We can't just value a particular coin base on the current situation or on its price but we value a project base on what is its role in the crypto market. In fact, it never happens to have in the 2nd place if your thinking is right.

Just look back at what happened last 2021, I'm sure that you can never tell ETH is weak.
1292  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price, January. $20000 or above possible? on: January 02, 2023, 11:01:36 AM

Will bitcoin price increase in January?
Is bitcoin getting back to $20000 in January or not?
I can see that not all investors, especially those who have lost their money in the FTX scam exchange have moved on and forgotten about it. They are still in the recovery stage and this could be one factor that holds them to invest for now due to continuous decline after a huge surprise. I can't make myself not lose hope but as the current situation remains like this ( low demand), I would say reaching $20k this month is quite impossible. But of course, I won't say it never happens, yet we just need more time and maybe this will happen before the 1st quarter end.
1293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 02, 2023, 10:46:13 AM
Anyone notice this. Those last year top on the Western conference switch places to bottom. 1-5 switch to 6-10 places except Timberwolves and Jazz. Those team that destroyed by GSW on the playoffs is now very strong in regular season and fixed there weakness. Nuggets now have a reliable outside shooter to help Jokic while Gordon is now performing impressively. They recently beat Boston in perfect form with huge price gap.

I know this is too early but I really that Jokic will finally get his ring this year. I just hope that his team mates will not choke because they have the best roster inside out in the league.
Gordon is always impressive in the regular season but let's see how he will perform in the playoffs especially when they are up against the Warriors. IMO, the only players that are reliable for the Nuggets are Jokic and Murray, the rest may just choke, I hope I'm wrong but just saying my honest observation.
1294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 02, 2023, 10:21:26 AM
Can't blame other people to think that ginebra will struggle with their current opponent since look at what Dragons do on the whole series they really put some good numbers to dominate their opponents. And many pba fans really see that one as basis to them that they are underdog on this match up. But I want the Ginebra to win since this will be a huge for filipino fans if they see Ginebra surpass a big challenge and win a championship this season.
Yeah, they're the underdog for this finals but they've managed to get the first win and now, they're in a tie. The next game on Wednesday will give the advantage to whoever will win it. This is what I most like in a PBA final, everyone is taking care of themselves and despite injuries can't be gone in the entire series and games, still, most of them are doing their best to show the best that they can and at the same time, they're avoiding to be injured. Money's on the line, and we all want to see this 2-1 being led by Gins.

Gins got huge fan base on PBA so its expected that they got a lot of support from the fans also we can add up that many PBA fans want them to win since its like Philippines against foreign country. If they can beat up the Bay Area Dragons this is a huge pride for their organization since beating them is so difficult knowing how talented and tall their rooster are. They really need to avoid injuries since if one of their stars got that maybe this will lower down their chance to win the championship.
Beating them in the series, yes. But even if they lose as long as this series will be competitive and will reach game 7, I think they will be happy already knowing they are up against a very good team. Some of us think that Ginebra will win all the way after this big 1st game win, but seem like things has already change now.
1295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 01, 2023, 12:24:55 PM
The game between the Heat and the Jazz is intense. It looks like the refs are trying to rig the game to give the Jazz a chance to win, the foul called when Lauri try to shoot beyond the arc was wrong, there was no foul, it is very clear in the replay, and yet the refs are happy to call that foul. All FT attempts are successfully shoot but Herro was the Hero of the game as he had the last shot to win the game.
1296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 01, 2023, 12:04:37 PM
So it isn't really surprising that the Japanese boxer seldom lost in their country.  During the 1990's the only way to win in Japan was to knock out their boxer and if you failed to stop your opponent it is a sure lost to the visiting boxer.

The same thing happened in Australia when Pacman was robbed. Let's hope that things will change for the fairness of sports, that way they will be able to have the opportunity to host a championship fight because they have good credibility, big fights are not fought in countries where there's a questionable reputation about judging a fight, so it's not good for business.
1297  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Die or Pump Up in 2023? on: January 01, 2023, 10:25:06 AM
According to Elon Musk, the price of Bitcoin will increase by the end of winter.  And we should not lose hope.  We have to harden our minds.  And everyone needs to hold on to Bitcoin tightly so that it doesn't get traded away from the market.  Whoever has the amount of BTC deposited, rest assured.  And wait, something good will come inshallah.  Inshallah BTC price will increase by mid 2023.  And I believe in Elon Musk's words, so you should continue to believe.  The price will definitely increase.

It can't be denied that EM is a very influential person in social media but not in crypto. I believe some of his words in regard to business strategies but if we think this could influence the crypto market this year (2023), I simply don't think about it because many people had ignore him.
Bitcoin will rise someday with or without Elon Musk's participation because the market doesn't rely on him nor he is controlling the market. And we couldn't assume that he will do his best to support Bitcoin but rather expect his support to Dogecoin.
1298  Other / Archival / Re: Long-term Bitcoin accumulation continues on: January 01, 2023, 08:43:13 AM
It is quite interesting to see the growth and continuous Bitcoin demand despite the economic situation we have. I can feel that many people still have hopes in Bitcoin than just keeping it in fiat where the inflation surging high. Bitcoin now is the saving place for those who want to keep their money growing.
I was expecting more adoptions this year 2023 in this case. More companies will open their door to having Bitcoin as another payment option and also see people using this to buy stuff.
1299  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Holding could be better on: December 31, 2022, 05:06:21 PM
snipe~

According to me this depends on how good you are at trading. If you are able to make profits even in a bear market then you can consider trading.
You can assign 50% of your money to trading while holding the rest but if you don't make decent profits then you should avoid trading.
This is a time where we bitcoin can flip any moment and you might lose or make a considerable amount of profit.
So if I were at your place I would avoid trading and hold instead.
20%, 50%, or 100% - it lies on the decision of the trader. If we are pro-traders, we already know what is best for us. We can't push ourselves to risk more if we know that it was likely impossible because we never rely on luck as we are not gambling but we rely on knowledge and skill as we are trading. If we miss any of these things, I think is better to forget about trading and let's focus on holding. I see this option will save us from losing more.

Sometimes we have to open our eyes and see who really we are when it comes to trading.
1300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Free crypto possible ? Or impossible? on: December 31, 2022, 04:29:17 PM
It has to know OP that there is no free crypto anymore. If you are wanting to earn a profit here, better not to rely on airdrops or faucets game but rather have the decision to risk some money in investing potential coins. At least you have the chance than having these shitcoins in your wallet.

I think you should've figured out that wherever there is free money so many people will flock into it, most of the airdrops in CMC are legit, yet there are too much people following the airdrops that it becomes quite worthless to follow these airdrops, the only way you could make quite the money is by investing and that's it, you just never think you gonna make huge money from airdrops and the likes and think of them more like just trying out your luck.
otherwise you gonna get massive disappointment because as far as I know 99% of the time you just gonna get some worthless coins which have near zero value.
In the end, airdrops are totally nothing these days other than being shitcoins or no value at all. I have tried some but guess what, earning $1 from airdrop and spending a $5 fee to move it from our personal wallet, doesn't make sense - it is only just a waste of time and I'm not going it anymore.
