In sports betting, what I always see is the statistics. That increases my chances of winning, but it isn't certain that I will win with the use of it. Gambling = risk whatever odds it is. TBH, it's my first time seeing a gambler putting that huge amount into a team with odds that low.

The reward of it is high compare to the risk of it. I'm curious how does he felt after what happened with that game and his money. As for me, most of the time I always bet on the opposing side and I don't recommend doing it because that's the reason why most of the times, I lose money in gambling. I didn't experience me betting on a team which is kind of sure win already, and I guess I will not do it at all .

I don't know if it's only me, but I call myself lucky because even though there are times that I'm watching these crypto influences in the past, I'm not falling into their trap and I don't buy the coins that they are shilling in their platform.

I remember Bitboy Crypto is the one who is doing this the most. I mean years ago, there are coins that he is sharing on his youtube channel and currently, I don't know if he's doing it still because I'm not watching him anymore because of the shilling that he's been done.

As for me, watch those crypto influences just because you want to get a bit of knowledge (if there are) and a bit of entertainment, but don't follow what they are saying. Like OP said, doing your own research is still the best thing to do when it comes to investing. Don't listen to these influences because it's like you are giving your money to them by following what they are saying.

Ahhh sh*t here we are again. Whenever I see Davis coming back, I'm always afraid of him because there is always a chance that he might get re-injured again. Well anyway, I'm not expecting anything to him if he will return tomorrow, or at least it will take some games before he manage to come back to the way he played at the start of the season where we see him dominating games.

What I don't like with them is that, they are acting like they achieve something already like @jakelyson said. TBH, they're the same as the Suns who are acting tough in the league and yet, they can't even win a title. The Grizzlies even trash talked the Warriors last season and look where they ended up. Even that Brooks is acting tough and trash talking on different players, but he achieved nothing as of this moment.

On their game against Sacramento, Morant didn't play and his impact on the team is too much that you can feel it once he isn't playing. Their next game will be against the Warriors on the road. The Warriors are 17-6 on their home against the Grizzlies who is 11-13 on the road. I'm having a feeling that they might lose again. :X

It depends on some factors.
Are you doing it because you want to have short term profits or long term profits? Are you an aggressive investor or a conservative one.

I can't say which is the best and neither the others here because that question is very subjective. There are some who prefer short term profits thus, they are preferring not only Bitcoin trading, but crypto trading in general. On the other hand, there are some who prefer the less risky one and they prefer long term profits that's why they are preferring the Stock Market.

As for me, I can't say as well which is the best of the two so it would be better if you will decide base on your preference or maybe try doing both and find which works for you.

PS: Update on this one. I just saw a Facebook post regarding Simmons playing with the NLEX. They've got a last minute clearance and the NLEX will play with Simmons as their import. I thought that they will play today import-less. Now with Simmons playing, I might put my bet on the NLEX on this one.

Betting on Fuel Masters might be a bit too risky for me.
Both teams now have different coaches and a different coach might affect the whole chemistry of the team. The 4.48 odds for the Fuel Masters might be attractive, but I don't think I will bet on them. I'd rather go all in on the first game and just let go of the second game . Good Luck on your bet though.

I just don't hope that SMC and MVP will not make Converge a farming team like what they are doing with NorthPort and TerraFirma.

Since they entered the league, Converge is performing very well already and they entered the playoffs on their first season and played better on the second season though they lost against SMB on that one. Overall, I expect Converge to play like what they did last Commissioner's Cup. Lets just see how they will play the rest of the season.

I thought that Donaire's career in boxing is over already a few years ago until he defeated Oubaali. That's Oubaali's first knockout loss and he got it on a past-prime boxer like Donaire.

His fight against Inoue is expected already knowing how strong and how good he is. Both of these fighters suffered a lost against "The Monster" and now that the Inoue choose to step up and vacate the title, Donaire again has a chance to get a title and fight a few more fights before he retires.

I guess Donaire still can defeat Moloney only by knockout, but if this will go to scorecards, I guess Moloney has a shot to win against Donaire. Age is a factor when it comes to stamina.

This is a very subjective topic and there has been many topics that has been created regarding this one, but I only have one answer to all of it.
You can get a loan just to invest into Bitcoin. There is nothing that will prevent you from doing it. On the other hand, you have many factors to consider whenever you want to get a loan just to buy Bitcoin.

Questions like: "Are you aware of the volatility of Bitcoin and you might lose your money in the process?" or "Do you have a consistent cash flow or a job so that you can pay the loan on a monthly basis?" These are just 2 questions.

I tried this one already, but I didn't invested it into crypto. I borrowed a small amount of money and invested it into stock market though I can still choose crypto at that time but I opted to go to a safer asset which is the stock market. I have a monthly income and a portion of that will be used to pay my loan monthly. Currently, I'm still paying that loan of mine and I don't have problem with it since I can pay it monthly. On the other hand, I'm also happy that I bought that stock at a cheap price and now I have positive returns already.

The points is spread across the players in Converge. That's better than just relying on their import.
That strategy will be more deadly because you don't know who might takeover in that game because all of them can score. Their import, Rusbatch only scored 17 points with 3/9 shooting on threes. Three points is his specialty and it's only his first game in PBA and in the PH in general so I expect him to be more productive in their next games.

As for NorthPort, Bollick didn't play and there is lack of support from the local players thus, they lost by 30 points.

First of all, lets look at the quick definition of legal tender on this one:

I agree with what they said that "legal tender globally is different from globally accepted". Legal tender means it will be a national currency that is declared by the law and on the other hand, globally accepted means people will accept it whatever the circumstances it will be and there is no law between it.

One thing more is that, I don't see Bitcoin as a legal tender because at first place, the government isn't the one who is creating it and we already saw the definition of legal tender. How will a currency like Bitcoin can be a legal tender if the government didn't do it? Bitcoin will not be a legal tender, but it will be globally accepted if people will starting to accept it.

- Short selling if you believe that it will go down even lower.
- Placing a long position in exchanges like Binance etc. This is you expect that the altcoin will recover.
- Buying it and then wait for it to recover.

I'm assuming that what you are saying is "all altcoins" collapsed including those large market cap coins. There are many ways to profit from these altcoins depending on which altcoin you will choose to buy. I'm always a fan of buying on the large market cap coins as they are way less risky than those with low market cap altcoins, but gives lower reward. On the other hand, maybe you should consider researching and buying those young and new projects as long as you are ready with the worst case scenario. Young and new altcoins can give you huge profits.

Hachimura has been a good scorer off the bench still with 13 PPG with a decent 34% from three point shooting. Obviously, they picked Kuzma over him which is a good move since we know which is better between the two.

As for the Lakers, it's a good move I guess since Nunn isn't making an impact with the whole team. Now the Lakers have a decent scorer and at the same time, a good wing defender as well. IMO, the Lakers won the trade unless those 3 second round picks will turn out to be better players in the future, but for now, it's a good move for the Lakers though I guess they need at least 1 more trade before the trade deadline.

I commend the Celtics last season for how they played in the whole playoffs and take note that there are some of them who are inexperienced in the playoffs.

I always believe that playoff experience for both players and coaches matter. Playoff experience will affect the decisions of the whole team in different situations. As for the Kings, I only see Barnes and Dellavedova as the only players who has a playoff experience with the whole team and the rest doesn't have. You said young Warriors. Look at their coach, Mike Brown. He is the assistant coach of the Warriors and won 3 titles with them so his experience with the Warriors so he learned how Steve Kerr's playstyle, but with a balanced approach.

Defense is a big role when it comes to playoffs and again, let's see the Celtics last season and how good they are defensively. Their defense is the main reason why they entered the NBA Finals. Overall, I don't see the Kings that dominating in the playoffs.

No. Not at all.

I mean a small bounce will not make me sell any of my Bitcoin holdings at all, but I admit that I need to sell some of my altcoin holdings. I sold it yesterday just because I want to re-invest it into dividend paying stocks.

My prediction this year with regards to Bitcoin's price is that, it will move sideways at the range of $17,000-$25,000, but we are just in the 4th week of 2023 and yet we are seeing Bitcoin's price going up already.

Is this price increase sustainable? I don't think so. I mean I don't see any reason aside from the fact that the S&P500 and DJI is starting to increase. US Stock Market and crypto market's price movement are somewhat the same or correlated.

I looked at the defensive ratings of each team and I saw that the Mavericks are on the bottom spot of the rankings.
The Mavericks are good at offense, but the problem that I see is their defense and that's also the reason why they lost against the Clippers. The absence of their 2 big players Kleber and Wood affects their overall defense and we all know that there's nothing wrong with defense. You're good at defense, you have a higher chance of winning.

The Blazers aren't playing well in their last 10 games (3-7) so I guess that the risk is worth it with this one.
3.06 seems attractive to me especially when you see that the Lakers are 6-4 in their last 10 games and it's better than the Blazers obviously. Right now, the Lakers are having an 11-point lead on the road. Kinda sad that I didn't put a bet on them though.

Aside from the Pelicans which I think will be the "Dark Horse" of the league, the Kings are the ones who I didn't thought that will surprise me.

The Kings-Pacers trade that involved Sabonis and Haliburton is the first time that I see both teams benefitted from it. I mean often times, we always see trades where one team is obviously winning while the other one is losing. On this one, both teams benefitted and they are performing better than they was last season. Haliburton is leading the league right now in assists with 10.2 APG while on the other hand, Sabonis is the one who is leading in rebounds with 12.6 RPG. Both teams benefitted from the trade and now Sabonis and Haliburton are playing on their best season currently.

The Kings finally after the playoff drought has the change to enter the playoffs this season. With them at the 3rd spot, there is a high chance that they will enter. I just hope that they will perform the same or even better when the all-star game ends because I already saw some teams who played very well before the all-star game and ended up badly and performed awful after.

Mas malaki sana ang loss ko as a manager kung hindi ako nagbenta ng SLP noong bagong labas pa lang ang Katana noong November 2021. Noong mga oras na yun, umabot ng 6 PHP ang SLP at isa ako sa mga nakapagbenta sa taas. Nakabili ako ng mga bagong gadgets dahil dun at naiinvest ko rin ang iba. Overall, loss ako pero wala akong magagawa ganun talaga ang investing. Hindi araw-araw panalo dahil may times na talo ka. Iyak-tawa na lang yun na lang din magagawa natin.

Hindi ko makakalimutan tong Axie Infinity na ito dahil sa 5 years kong nag-iinvest, ngayon pa lang ako nagkaroon ng loss sa pag iinvest sa isang project.
