Schroder was the one who made a lot of mistakes, I believe it's 3 turnovers in just 4 minutes and he was devastated about it, and I think he even lost his confidence because of that. This will be a problem for the Grizzlies, how will they bounce with Morant still hurting?
It's just one game for Schroder, and I think that he will come back stronger coming into Game 5 knowing that they're up 3-1, and it will be on the road for them. As for the Grizzlies, I don't know how they will bounce back with this one, but they're one of the best home teams right now, so even though the Lakers snatched one game from them, I think that the Grizzlies will take Game 5. That is if the morale of the team is still up like the Timberwolves where they forced a Game 5.

Seems that he takes the challenge seriously, and even without the words he is showing it by actions, we just see a playoff
monsters who take care of the game in last minutes of the game.

I like how he answers his critics and the challenge from the young trash talkers of Memphis, not by words but by the game he's playing now.

One more win for the Lakers and this series will be over. They will beat the top 2 seeds from the west.
Reporters wanted to interview Brooks after the game, but he didn't face them, and just said "I'm out". What a funny guy he is.

He is just trash talk, but his performance can't back it up. They needed him in the last 2 games knowing that the Lakers stole one on their home, but what did Brooks do in their last 2 games? Hit Lebron in the groin, and got ejected in Game 3? And in Game 4, he only scored 11 points, in 4/11 FG shooting with 1/7 from threes? He is just pure trash talk, and he's even blaming the media because of how the people look at him right now. I mean I would praise him if he's an superstar like Booker who is a trash talker as well, but he's backing it up whenever he's on the court. This player is just pure trash talk.

Anyway, I will just add some things that I saw online (Facebook).
- Ime Udoka will be the next Rockets head coach after they fired Stephen Silas. Welcome back to him I guess. I hope he will rebuild the Rockets team like what he did with the Celtics.
- Dejounte Murray will be suspended for Game 5 against the Celtics because of verbal abuse against the referees.
- Kawhi Leonard will be out for Game 5 as well because of the same injury. I hope that the Clippers will trade him next season because nothing happened with this team since him and PG came.
1342  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: April 25, 2023, 11:37:51 AM

Ryan Garcia has an issue regarding on his past depression so lets hope this will not came up to him and he don't take those lose as total big deal on his career since he can bounce back after that big lose of his career.

He just need to learn from what he experience to Tank Davis since it can help to his career if he strive more to became more better fighter and let that lost as big learning experience to him. Maybe for now Gervonta Davis is to much for him and he should do better more once their rematch will be set to happen again.

True, I hope he accepts his loss and that it does not haunt him. It's just one loss, and he is still a good fighter. It might not be easy to come back to the top, but he is still young. As long as he learns from his mistakes, he will come back stronger, and he might have a chance to fight Tank Davis again.

As previously stated, if he loses, he will not have a rematch. Therefore, he needs to move on and come back physically and mentally strong.
You said that it is just one loss, but it's his first loss so it has a different impact on himself. Well, I guess that's what I know since he didn't experience getting defeated on his professional boxing career until that one against Tank.

Tank is too much for him, and many already said that. Garcia is too vulnerable when he is throwing his signature left hook, and Davis took advantage of it. I saw it one time where Garcia tried to do his left hook, but Davis is too fast for him that he just dodged it, then Davis threw a left hook that caused Garcia to defend himself, but got damaged on that one for sure. Tank's IQ inside the ring is just too much for anybody in his division. I wonder who will try to fight him after this win.

Like I said previously, there's no need for a rematch on this one after that one-sided match. Just a suggestion, but since the fight is over, maybe it's time to lock the thread?  Wink
1343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Little Bitcoin investment becoming something else on: April 25, 2023, 07:59:41 AM
Before going further i will appreciate if you read my previous post Stated " How I decided to buy some fractions of BTC after discussion with members". Since on February 2, 2023 I bought some fractions of bitcoin with just NGN33,000 then which was approximately 0.001848BTC in turns of NGN37,657 almost about NGN4,657 increase (profits) do you suggest I should hold or take profit?
First, what is the reason why you bought some Bitcoins? Is it for long term? Is it for short term? Is it for medium term? That alone will answer your question.
NGN4,657 is around 10$ in USD which is for me not a good profit knowing that you held your Bitcoins for more than 2 months. Just imagine getting only 10$ of profit for more than 2 months? I would suggest to add more, and hold it for the long term. 10$ profit for a week might be good, but for 2 months, I don't think so.

Usually i don't know what the market may looks like in the next 1 months to come, I missed selling at $31k since I was thinking it will gets to 40k but the market keep scaring me and you know emotion is being attached to this so I have to run down here to seek the best opinion on what to do comparing my condition as young mother who needs money for my up keep, since i don't like bothering my husband for money so i believe i can make out something good from here.

Any suggestions given here will be quickly implemented because I know we have more bitcoin lords here.
This is the problem when you are being too emotional with your investments. There are sometimes that emotions dictate your decisions, and it happened this time. You choose to let your emotions control you thus, you didn't sell at the $30,000 price which is an obvious resistance.

So you are investing because you want to help your husband, eh? I don't usually suggest this, but if you really want to help, I guess do trading. Just the basic buy and sell might be good already. I mean there are some risks into it, but if you really want to help then I guess you will give some time to learn it right? It will be more profitable, but it will be more risky than the usual buy and hold strategy.
1344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 25, 2023, 07:26:21 AM
Wow! What a display of his skills from Jimmy "Buckets" Butler.
But today, they put the number 1 seed, Milwaukee Bucks, on the brink of losing the series at 3-1. 56 points for Butler who played 41 minutes, there's a slight look of fatigue but the energy that was given by the Miami Heat fans did help.
20 points in the first quarter with 8/9 shooting. 22 points overall in the first quarter alone, a career high for most points in a playoff quarter, and aside from that, it is also a franchise record for most points by a player in a playoff game in a quarter.

56 points was also the most points by a Heat player in a playoffs in Heat franchise history. Not Lebron, not Wade, but Playoff Butler is holding that record. Just imagine a player who can't find his home a many years ago, and he went to multiple teams, and now he is leading the Miami Heat team to a good playoff run again by making an upset against a top seeded team like the Bucks. Take note that many are taking the Bucks to be the champions this season, but they are on a brink of going home in the first round. Just imagine how disappointing it will be for the Bucks if they will lose in the first round.

Now, how will the Milwaukee Bucks adjust to this situation? It will be back at their home which is a must-win, but after that, White Hot Miami will be waiting and will not be stopped from helping their players to play like this again.
I don't know TBH.

Base on statistics, teams who are up 3-1 are winning 95.2% of the time (record of 258-13), so let's just say that the chances of the Bucks winning is at 4.8%, but we saw the Cavaliers going to win the title against the Warriors back when they are down 1-3. We also saw the Warriors winning against the Thunder when they are down 1-3. I mean that 4.8% is still a huge thing especially it's the Bucks that we are talking.

It really was a pretty close game. The Lakers were lucky to win this one, and now they need one win to qualify for the second round of the playoffs. This time I would call LeBron the hero of the game as he made an impressive double-double (22 points + 20 rebounds) and tied the game in the final seconds. It's also worth mentioning Russell, who made three consecutive very important three-pointers in the 4th quarter but then got 6 personal fouls.
p.s.
I don't know what's wrong with Davis, but he made a lot of mistakes and was just as bad as he was in game 2.
Lucky? So you are saying that the Lakers are just lucky that they won against the Grizzlies? What are you saying?

They're just a better team than the Grizzlies, and it wasn't luck that's the reason they won. Many are rooting for the Grizzlies to win against the Lakers because of how impressive they played in the regular season, but remember that the Grizzlies doesn't have Adams, and Clarke to help JJJ defend the paint. It would be a different outcome if those 2 are there to help the team.

Davis? At the start of the game, many thought that he wasn't playing because of an hip injury, so I guess it's kind of expected that he will not be the same Davis that we used to see where he is dominating. What's good about the Lakers is that they have players who can step up if needed. Players like Reaves, Schroeder, Hachimura, Russell, and Vanderbilt. That's why they're a better team than the Grizzlies. I guess I will not see the Grizzlies, and the Warriors matching up in the 2nd round because they might lose in the first round. Well, there is still 4.8% chance for the Grizzlies to win.

For the record, Lebron is the oldest player in history to tally a 20 point-20 rebound game in a playoff, and it's the first one since Shaq way back in 2004. It looks like we saw a prime Lebron playing just a few hours ago.
1345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which YouTube channels and pages to follow for update on market news and TA? on: April 25, 2023, 03:26:25 AM
Hi, I'm looking for YouTube channels to follow for best most popular info and advice on bitcoin/other cryptos regarding market conditions and environment information. I'm also looking for technical analysis and overview and upcoming performance reports and market reports helpful to less skilled people.
I have been following a Youtuber for quite some time already with regards to Bitcoin, and some of the popular cryptocurrencies out there. He's also a good analyst (for me), and he gives advices on both sides always. What I mean is that he is giving advice on what us investors can do when it goes up, and at the same time it goes down. This is the link to his Youtube Channel: LINK

As for a Youtuber who is expert in TA, I don't follow some aside from the one I shared. I don't follow any traders as well at all because I just want to make my own strategy that will work for me. Though I've watched some of the indicators that works most of the time, made some experiments thru the videos that I watched, and tweaked it to the point that it works for me.
1346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do when there is a bear run in Bitcoin on: April 25, 2023, 02:32:40 AM
Do not panic: It's important not again panic and sell your Bitcoin immediately. Bear runs can be unpredictable, and the price may rise again.
If you are a newbie, you can't prevent yourself from getting panic especially if you're into investing for the first time. If you don't have any experience at all with regards to investing, you can't avoid yourself from panicking, and with how volatile Bitcoin is, there are some new investors out there who are making some bad decisions because of them getting panic.

Over time, you will learn how not to panic. Just have experience. You will learn from your experiences.

Do proper research: Before making any decisions, please do your research to know why the price is falling. Look at demand trends, news, and other factors affecting the price fall.
I can't count how many times users here said this, but the unfortunate thing is that no one wants to take time to research. I remember just a few days ago, one of my neighbor scammed I think around 800$ because he invested into a gambling site which turned out to be a scam.

Have a clear investment plan: Before investing, it is important to have an obvious investment plan that aligns with your financial goals and risk tolerance. Stick to your plan to avoid making sudden changes in response to short-term market changes.
When I started investing, I don't have any clear plan at all, but I know that I wanted to invest for my future.
Now after a few years of investing, my clear plan is to invest early so I can retire at a younger age. Younger than the regular employee's retirement age. Different people have different plan when it comes to investing. Follow what the OP said that whatever happens, stick to your plan.

Always remember, the crypto market can be volatile and unpredictable. Make sure to invest wisely and always do your research before making any decisions.
I guess you need to change "can be" to "is" because crypto market is volatile, and it will not change (at least in a few years or decades I guess).
Overall, making research, and being discipline enough to know what to do in certain situations will help you in investing.

Sorry for bumping the thread that has been inactive for a month already.

If yes, paano niyo naresolba yung issue? Nag-send na rin kasi kami ng ticket sa kanila at nagshare ng details kagabi, pero wala pa ring response hanggang ngayon. Salamat if may mag-share ng kanilang experience tungkol sa problemang ito.
1348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is going down day after day right now on: April 23, 2023, 01:59:50 PM
Why is BTC going down like it does the last days? Straight down.. Down around 10% (?)
From around 30K to around 27K.
I guess these are the reasons.

1. It already hit the resistance which is the $30,000. Yes it went to as high as $31,000, but $30,000 is the psychological resistance as of the moment, and it already hit that price thus, many sold at that price, putting the price go down in the past few days.
2. Markets move in cycles. I guess we all know that markets move in cycles whether it's crypto, or stock market, or any other assets out there. It goes up, and it goes down, and it's what's happening with Bitcoin as well. Wait for it to go up again after this downward movement.

Do you guys think it will turn the other way soon and go straight up again or will it keep going down?
I thinked this year would be a good BTC year and i still think it will be! But I did not see this coming to be honest.
The support right now in the short term is the $28,000, and currently we are below that price so maybe we might see some downward pressure towards the price of Bitcoin. I also don't see any reason for Bitcoin to go  up right now unless either there will be some good news that will happen, or the bulls will regain control.

Nevertheless, there's no need to panic if you will ask me because movements like this happen all the time. We've also seen Bitcoin going down more than 15% in just a single day, so I guess there's no need to worry about with this sudden downwards movement. You didn't see it coming? I guess you will already know what to expect in the future because this kind of movement will happen again any time soon.
1349  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good time to invest in BTC? on: April 23, 2023, 07:55:10 AM
Hi I have been toying with the idea of investing in BTC but have waited due to some investors saying the price will drop to 12 - 16k again. do you think it could still drop to this or are we more likely to move on up to 40k?
No it will reach that $12K-$16K again... or it will not reach again. Ohh yes it will reach that price again... or it will not reach again. Yes it will reach that price again. Nahh it will not reach that again.

My point is that, nobody can give you an accurate answer to what you are asking. I can say that it might reach that price, and can go lower than that price, but I can be wrong. At the same time, I can also say that it will not, and it will go to even higher price in the future, but I can be wrong as well. You made your decision base on what the others are saying, and not yours. At least make a decision base on what you think next time. Now you might've missed an opportunity to buy Bitcoin below $20,000. It will never reach that price again. Tongue

As what others are advised here, just focus on doing Dollar Cost Averaging instead of waiting for the price of it to reach at a certain price. You will miss many opportunities if you will approach that way.
1350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Keep hodling your Bitcoin on: April 23, 2023, 06:58:00 AM
Seems more like few persons are scared that they may loss to their Bitcoin hodlings due to the recent drops in price of Bitcoin
This is very understandable but as a Bitcoin investor you should know that with the series of price changes Bitcoin has encountered over the years we can say that it rises in value more than it drops .
Those who are scared are the ones who doesn't know how Bitcoin's price actually moves.
In short, it's either they are first timers when it comes to investing into Bitcoin, or they are just people who are panicking very easily when they see the total amount of their holdings go down.

Well, I also experienced this when I was starting to invest into Bitcoin. I felt scared as well when I'm holding Bitcoin, but I continued to learn, and study, and from that I learn that Bitcoin really moves that way, and I adjusted into it to the point where I'm not feeling anything whenever Bitcoin's price goes down, and even if it goes up TBH. I feel that those newbies will understand how Bitcoin moves after experiencing it, and they will adjust into it as well and will not scared anymore.

Therefore I want to urge all my fellow bitcointalkers to not lose interest in holding because of these little drops in price  keep holding your Bitcoin .It will definitely boom soon
Bitcointalkers? I like how you address us. Cheesy

Anyway, I don't have any reason why not to hold Bitcoin at all. I mean I've got the time since I'm at my mid-20's still, and I also have the money to continuously accumulate it. I prefer holding as well as it is stress-free compare to when you are trading it. I'm also not afraid in Bitcoin's price going down. Like I said, I'm already at the point where I don't feel anything when price goes down, and goes up.
1351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 23, 2023, 06:15:23 AM
Philly swept the Brooklyn Nets. They played well without Embiid and finished the series early with a comfortable win. In this way, they will have the opportunity to get some rest. Tobias Harris played really well in this game. Harden also made nearly triple-double stats. Melton from the bench gives a good score contribution. Philly is now waiting for their opponent. Probably the Celtics will face them, but they need to play at least 2 more games. This means at least 3-4 days of extra rest for Sixers.
Looks like the morale of the Nets team just disappeared after how they lost to them in Game 3. I mean they have a chance to win on that game, but that last play caused them the game, and the whole series as well.

Well, that's how it is folks. A one mistake can cause the whole series, and that's what happened to the Nets. Better luck next season, and they are a new team already. Their all stars are gone, their have a new coach. They just need to rebuild that chemistry for them to be a competitive team next season.

The Heat pulled it off without Giannis to anchor the Bucks. It cost them big though. Jimmy Butler and Victor Oladipo both sustained hard injuries and we’ll have to see what the results are from those going forward. I still think the Bucks will win this series.
TBH, the Bucks are in danger right now without Giannis.

I mean they played really well in Game 2 where they won without him, but in Game 3 it's a different story. The players that they needed offensively didn't step up on this one, but Butler on the other hand lead his team with 30 points, and it's unusual for me to see Robinson scoring 20 though he is capable because he's a good three-point shooter. Fast recovery for Butler and Oladipo is what I'm hoping for, and the Bucks really need Giannis, or they might lose the series TBH. They're the top team overall, but they are down 2 games to 1 against an 8th seeded team.

Russell Westbrook is going off right now. He’s making three-pointers he’s scoring in the lane and he’s keeping the clippers in this game. I can’t recall ever seeing him make so many shots without a miss… It’s like he’s a completely different player then when he was on the Lakers. I love to see it. The Suns will probably still win, but Westbrook’s performance has been nothing short of amazing.
Well, it's good to see Westbrook doing things, but against at team with 4 superstars? I don't think so as they lost to the Suns by 12 points.
Powell who scored 41 in their last game scored only 14 points now. If Westbrook played awfully again, this lead might be larger at the end of the game.

Durant and Booker lead their team with 61 points, Paul scored 19 points with 9 assists, Ayton with 15 points and 13 rebounds. The problem that I'm seeing with the Suns is their bench players. In this game, their bench only scored 9 points, and that's a problem in the playoffs because somebody needs to step up at least in offense if somebody gets injured. Anyway, they swept the road games against the Clippers, and they will come back home for Game 5. I don't know if Kawhi will play in Game 5, but even he plays until Game 7 (which is unlikely), they will not win still.

That was a great game. Dillon Brooks taking after Draymond Green and getting ejected for hitting LeBron in the nuts. I wonder if he’ll be out for the next game as well. That first quarter was crazy. LeBron didn’t get his 40 but he did get a win. Anthony Davis looked like the player he could be. If he can keep that up then the Lakers will have a shot at it.
First, it's good to see Morant playing after having that hand injury, and lead his team with 45 points, but the duo of AD and Lebron is just too much for them as they combined for 56 points to get the win, and lead the series 2-1

Brooks is copying what Draymond Green is doing, but he can't do it. Davis on the other hand is the game changer for the Lakers team. When he plays like that in Games 3 & 1, they win, but if he don't like in Game 2, they lost. In order for the Lakers to steal this series, they need Davis to play like in Game 3, and contribute to his team.

It's also good to see Hachimura playing his best playoff series right now. He contributed very well in the past 3 games, and in this game, he scored 16 points.
1352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: April 23, 2023, 04:07:29 AM
Like what many predicted Davis won via TKO via a liver punch he sneak that liver punch just when Ryan is holding in, I just knew its a matter of time before that counter punch, Ryan is too careless and very aggressive to hit, and land his left hook but unfortunately, Davis is good at this he has a good lateral movement and ring generalship to weathered Ryan's attack.
It ended in a way that we didn't expect... or at least I didn't expected. I expect a head punch to knock him out, but a liver shot really did it.

There really was a bit of a delay unto his reaction before kneeling down, and can't beat the count. I think it was around 5 seconds of delay before him getting knocked down. I like the aggressiveness of Garcia coming into the second round to pressure Davis, but his carelessness got him, and got knocked down by a left hook in that same round as well which I didn't expect as well. That was his second knockdown since Campbell knocked him down for the first time. He adjusted in the mid part of the game, focusing more on his right hand, but he really got shot in the liver.

Davis on the other hand is like Mayweather, with a bit aggressive style. He's good at defending, he's lightning fast hands makes him a good counter puncher, his IQ inside the ring is one of the highest, his punch has so much power in it. I mean you name it. Davis deserves to be the face of the boxing really because of how good he is. He might be trash talking, but his performance backs it up unlike others who are just good at trash talking. Davis predicted that he will finish the fight in the 7th or 8th round. He really did it.

There may be a rematch but definitely Tank has better skill in the ring, he can get his punches in while Ryan is having a hard time landing his left hook.
After being dominated, I don't think that Garcia will try, and request a rematch against him. I mean I also thought that a rematch after this one is possible, but after looking at that one-sided match, it would be better for Garcia to just forget about it. He just got demolished big time in this fight TBH.
1353  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price gets to $60k this year? on: April 22, 2023, 03:57:10 PM
But the question is; is it possible for bitcoin to reach $60k by this year? No serious bulls happening currently and if it continues in this little increase probably it will not get anywhere close to $60k. Share your views.
My realistic speculation is, it will not reach that price.

My prediction at the start of the year was Bitcoin will move sideways at around the $17,000-$25,000, but obviously it didn't happen, and I was wrong. Cheesy Anyway, Bitcoin within the last few days has been going down to it's past high of $30,000 to now at around the $27,000 price again. I don't really know if the bears regained the momentum again because of the price movement of Bitcoin in the past few days, or it's just a short correction, and many really sees $30,000 as a psychological resistance.

Nevertheless, I don't expect that Bitcoin will reach that price unless there will be a series of positive news online that might affect the price of Bitcoin in a positive way. When Bitcoin surged up to where it was today, it was banks getting bankrupt that is the news at that time. I wonder what will be the catalyst/s that will make the price of Bitcoin go way higher than $30,000.

My new prediction? Bitcoin will reach at least $40,000-$45,000 this year. I think that's a more realistic prediction. Smiley
1354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 22, 2023, 02:55:41 PM
~
Kawhi Leonard will be out in Game 4 because of the same injury. When the time comes that they needed him the most, he can't contribute to the team. PG13 is out, now he is out. There might be a chance that the Clippers might be losing in 5 games. Yes they played well in Game 3 without Kawhi, but can they do it again in Game 4? Take note that they're up against a team who has 4 all-star players. I don't know, but I've got a feeling that they will lost in 5 games. Kawhi is a very unreliable superstar.

Joel Embiid will be out as well in Game 4 because of an injury. The reason that I've seen in the internet is that he fell so many times in that Game 3 win against the Nets that he got injured. Well, they're up 3-0 so losing in Game 4 wouldn't hurt them that much so... yeah maybe giving him time to rest as well.
Thanks mate!
Those are big news for these teams. Kawhi needs to take rest for a while and let's see if they can do it without him on the game 4.
It's most likely that it's not going to be a win for them but then, they need to overcome this challenge or else they'll give Suns the momentum. However, it's expected that Suns will take this series.

But there is a big difference on Kahwi sitting vs Joel Embiid. Obviously, the Clippers is 2-1 behind the Suns and they need their superstar to play like Kahwi. It's unfortunate that every playoff he got injured or something.

As compare to Joel's Sixers wherein they are up comfortable 3-0 against the Nets. He has the luxury to sit up the next game and just relax and recover. And it is expected for Joel to sit, I mean in their last game he doesn't seem to be moving that well and could be bothered by his knee or leg injury.
That's the problem of the Clippers, the Sixers have the luxury to let Embiid sit, and aside from that, they still have Maxey and Harden to lead the team if Embiid is out. For the Clippers, who would you expect to step up offensively? Westbrook is inconsistent player though he played really well in the last 2 games. Powell? Yes he played one of his best nights in Game 3, but do you expect that he will do the same again in Game 4? Kawhi's presence will boost the morale of the team, and now that he's out, I wonder how will Coach Ty Lue adjust base on the remaining players that he have.

Can't wait for the Lakers games in LA !
Right now I'm watching a video about Dillon Brooks talking trash post game about Lebron, eager to see that LBJ will do tomorrow. I guess he will send the right response.

Memphis's trash talking bs really is making things hard for them. At the moment they are the most hated team, and they deserve it.

I am not a fan of Lebron or the Lakers but these guys really need a lesson taught. I hope LA wins their home games and use one of the 3 match points after.
TBH, it's a very big mistake to trash talk against Lebron. I mean a mere guard that doesn't have any accolades in his NBA career will trash talk somebody who is for some considered the GOAT?
Mind games? That will not work against Lebron. With his experience in the NBA, I'm pretty sure that he experienced way harsher than that trash talk.

Grizzlies as a whole is pure BS. Yes they are young, promising, and a lot of talents, but their trash talking to different players makes them one of the most hated teams right now. As for Dillon "DYNASTY" Brooks, I just hope that his mouth can make shots because if it is, he must've scored more than 50 points already. I hope that his trash talking in Game 2 will translate into something better for his team in Game 3, or he will be criticized for sure.

👉👉Create a Budget (or Improve Your Existing Budget)
99% of the trouble that people have with money isn’t that there isn’t enough of it but that there is no plan for it once you actually get it. Your budget (either weekly or monthly) should consider your income and your expenditure. Guide your spendings for the week or month with the budget made. This might be hard at first, but having that extra cash in hand, definitely worth the effort.
I guess I'm one of the lucky guys around the world because I have a partner who is very expert in budgeting our salary.
She's good that even though our salary is kind of small compare to others, she can still budget it, and we still have extra funds for investing into different assets.

I guess budgeting is a big factor to any couple. For me, it's a necessity already for a couple and I believe that one of them (or better of 2) must know how to budget their salary on a monthly basis, or they might be having a hard time financially in the future. For me, budgeting is a need if we want to succeed in life. Knowing how to budget your money will help you survive if the worst thing happens.  Might be off-topic, but the pandemic thought us to save money. The pandemic thought us that we should've some emergency funds, and that's part of budgeting as well. It's hard to budget at first because you might come to a point that you need to sacrifice something for the betterment.

👉👉Shopping with a list
This is a lifesaver and a game changer. It’s so simple! Literally, all you have to do is write down what you need in the house that week. Make the list, and stick to it. If you only need to get chicken and vegetables and some pasta at the house for the week, there’s no reason for you to be going to the snack food section. It’s a trap!
Every time I go shopping, or I need to buy groceries, I always have a list of things that I need to buy, and I always have the exact amount of money that I need because I don't want to overspend. Not having a list when buying things in a grocery is a recipe for disaster because you might end up buying things that you don't need.

👉👉Learn to say “no”
Not all goods worth buying at the moment. Although ads may be tempting but one should learn to go off any unnecessary items.
Not only in money, but all things in life. We must know when to say NO when needed. This is my problem at first TBH. It also come to a point where I will always say YES to everything, and in the end, I was the one who doesn't have anymore. In money, don't get attracted into some sales when you are shopping. Learn to say no to 50% sales, learn to say no to some discounted things out there.
1356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does Bitcoiner still support the use of centralized exchanges? on: April 22, 2023, 08:56:23 AM
Why do they continue to support centralized exchanges, use them, and retain their Bitcoin there?
Can you name a more convenient way of buying and selling Bitcoin aside from buying it from Centralized exchanges?

I doubt you can't say because there's no other way that is consider convenient is more convenient than buying it on Centralized exchanges. I mean yes Bitcoin has been created so that people can transact without any middleman on it, but nowadays, there are many people who are scamming these innocent holders of Bitcoin, thus they find a way to buy more Bitcoin in a safer way, and the way that they see is to buy thru these centralized exchanges.

Why do investors retain their Bitcoin there? It isn't advisable to retain, and store any coins in exchanges especially in the centralized ones, but for some investors, it's a way for them to sell their coins way faster if they needed it. I mean if they store it in a hardware wallet, then suddenly the price of Bitcoin spiked up and they choose to sell it, they need to wait a few minutes because of the transaction, and in that span, price of Bitcoin might go low already, so I guess that's the reason why they are storing it there.

Another reason is that they're traders. It's pretty obvious that traders will really store their Bitcoins on Centralized exchanges. Why do people use CEX? Because it's convenient, easy to buy, easy to sell, and trusted (only a few).

I'm still waiting for some news on who's in and out for their 4th game. And we've got some other interesting news, I guess this is still connected to Kawhi since he played for Toronto before but it's not about him but their coach.
Coach Nurse is fired by Toronto Raptors.
You want news. I'll give some news regarding who's in and who's out.

As for the Raptors, after giving them one title, they're firing him. Well, I don't know who will they pick as their next coach as there are no candidates yet.

That Timberwolves vs Nuggets game was a good one. The Timberwolves gave it all they had and nearly pulled it off but the efficiency of the Nuggets was just too much for them to overcome. The Timberwolves have a great roster but just can’t seem to win games. Now that they’re down 0-3 it’s basically already over. A bad end to a good season. Their last 6 games or so lead to them falling apart.
They destroyed my Parlay bet. I won against the Knicks, and the Hawks, and I thought that they will also win on their home even they're up against the top seeded Nuggets, but I was wrong.

Timberwolves have a great roster I agree, but injuries on some of their role players affected them so bad. McDaniels had a hand injury (which is unnecessary), Reid got one as well. Both of them are great role players, and Gobert who they got in arguably the worst trade of all time in NBA history isn't performing that good as well. I mean he's playing way better back when he's still in the Jazz. Now he's averages are lower, and he didn't enter the all-star as well. I just hope that the Timberwolves management are ok.

They are now down 0-3, and I don't also think that they can win Game 4 TBH knowing how good the Nuggets are.
1358  Economy / Economics / Re: it's so risky! on: April 21, 2023, 10:42:03 PM
I don't invest money easily in any asset because of fear of losing that money. i think of investing 80% of total savings.
do taking risk is important or not?

please quote all question and answer it's very helpful for me and others.
Just think of these.
No risk, no reward. Low risk, low reward. High risk, high reward.

That alone is enough for I guess. Now to answer your question if you are taking risk or not, yes you are taking risk. Risk of getting lost because of INFLATION. 80% of your money into savings? I mean governments are just printing money, and you are saving it? There are 3 reasons for you to save money. One is if you are saving for an emergency funds. Two is if you are saving because you want to buy something expensive like house, car etc. Third is you are saving because you want to invest into an asset class like Gold, Stocks, Crypto etc. If you are saving just for the sake of saving, you are doing it the wrong way, and you are letting yourself lose your money because of inflation.

You don't invest into an asset because of you afraid to lose money, but you don't know that you are losing money if you are saving as well? Not indirectly obviously, but the buying power of that money that you saved will go down as years go by. Taking risks are always part of our lives already, and so with investing. Just look at the successful businessmen now. Do you think that they will not become what they are today if they didn't take the risk, and tried to do something that they wanted to do.

Overall, I don't want to save 80% of my money into savings account, and I hope that you really aren't doing it because it's the worst thing to do right  now. Invest it into assets. Take the risk if you really wanted to gain money, and not lose to inflation.

Philly won with a strong game. Harden was unfairly kicked out and didn't play in the last quarter, but Maxey still filled that gap by playing well. Embiid should have been kicked out in my opinion. The referees keep making weird decisions. I think this series was over when it was 2-0, now it's 3-0 and the Nets have no chance. I said they played with weak opponents after the 2nd game, there were those who said that the Nets were too strong here, but we saw who was right.

Just show the depth of Philly again, no Harden and yet the Nets wasn't able to exploit that. I mean they are in the good lead even in the last minute of the game. But for some strange reasons, they can't score and then they didn't guard Maxey who took that 3 and that should be the dagger.

Dinwiddie try to drive and he was lucky that a call was made. But after that, Philly score easy and the Nets missed that shot.

I thought that they are going to take a win in this game as they are in control of the game and Joel Embiid is not moving great. Most likely he is suffering some injuries after this game.

Pretty amazing that Philly could win after that bizarre call on Harden.  Both sides were being unfairly refed though so at least is seemed fair in that regard.  Embiid got to show why he's an MVP candidate.  I think the Nets are done and probably shouldn't have been in the playoffs anyway with their roster.  It looks like the Clippers aren't far behind the Nets either.  With no Paul George and now it's looking like no Kawhi, I don't think they have a chance against the Suns.  Westbrook played as good as he could to keep them in the last game, but they're just outmatched.
Well, we know already that the Nets are done for the season since the start of the playoffs, so I will just ask if the Sixers will sweep them again like what happened last season to them? Nevertheless, credits still to the newly faced Nets as t hey maintained to remain in the playoffs despite of what happened to them. Trading 2 of their all-star players for some future all-stars and role players.

As for the Clippers, I can still remember the time where many are saying that PG13, and Kawhi will make Clippers a great team, and there are some who are saying that they will build a "dynasty" there because of how good both of them are. Yes they are good in defense, and they also have very good role players as well, but without both of them, the Clippers are just an average team I must say, and the worse is that they are playing against a team who has 4 all-star players as well. I will not be surprised if this series will end up in 5 games even though Kawhi will play in Game 4, that knee injury that he got in Game 1 might hinder him to show his full potential during the game.

3 games to watch.
Boston @ Atlanta, Cleveland @ New York, and Denver @ Minnesota. I hope that you already put your bets on which teams you think you will win. Just another trivia as well since the Hawks are playing, they are 0-20 in the history of playoffs when they are down 0-2 in a series. Do you think that the streak will continue? Or it will be snapped.
1360  Economy / Economics / Re: How do feels losing money? on: April 21, 2023, 09:42:47 PM
I have not gotten myself this days. Do you feel down when such sudden hits happens to you?
Do I feel down? No I don't

Whenever I invest into something whether it would be stock, or crypto, or a new project, I always set my mind to a point where if I lose that money, I will not feel anything, and I'll be ok with it. TBH, even though I already put my mind into that, I can still feel the regret and disappointment because of my decisions, but it will not last long because after a few hours of losing that money, I will feel good again.

Whatever business or investment is that, you should've learn from that, and always do researches first before investing into it. I just hope that you, and your friend are ok, and I also hope that you can recover the losses that you got in that scam.
