1521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 30, 2023, 09:59:03 AM
Dallas needed to win the game more but Philly won by playing the ending better. Harden returned four games later, and that had a positive effect. Embiid again plays as we know him. Dallas is in dangerous position now. They invested heavily for the season, they have to be in play-in row at least. It's sad to see a team with so much potential go through such a disintegration. Not only their superstars Dončić and Kyrie, but also the side pieces are very good. From Kleber to Wood, Hardaway to McGee, they should've been in a much better rank with this roster.
In fact there are a lot of good teams in the West and they are very close to each other besides their win rate, I can't pick any team to leave out of play-off picture. This season standing may not be determined until the end of last match.
The Dallas Mavericks have lot's of struggles since the Kyrie Irving trade.

Before they got Kyrie, they are at the 4th spot of the Western Conference. When the trade happens and got Kyrie, many knew already that it was a fail experiment though many thought that it would be beneficial for the team especially for Luka because he will now have an all-star type of player on his team. What is the expense of the Kyrie trade? Their best defensive player in DFS, their supposed back-up point guard in Dinwiddie and some draft picks. Before the trade deadline, they are already one of the worst defensive teams around the league. After the trade? They got even worse than they are before the trade. Also add the frustration that Luka is dealing on each game, and that also affects his performance on every game.

The Mavericks are now on a position that they might not enter the playoffs this season because of what's happening to them. The team already is 6-14 since they got Kyrie. There is also a chance that the Mavericks might not sign Kyrie on the off-season because he wants a long term contract like a 4-year max contract, and for sure they will not give it to him knowing his drama and controversies that he got a few years ago. They traded their best players for nothing because they might not sign Kyrie on the off-season.

The size of the team is very awful as well, so it would be beneficial for the team to get some bigger wing defenders, but looking at the free agents, I don't see any notable players out there.
1522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What have you got rid of to accumulate Bitcoin on: March 30, 2023, 08:52:28 AM
Some people said that selling off your properties for any reason sake is bad unless its an emergency, well I say, selling some part of my land is an emergency for me to grab some more Bitcoin, I feel like 2023 is going to be an incredible year for Bitcoin investors, I could get some more lands in 2024 or when Bitcoin makes a new ATH, what do you guys think? A stupid decision or a brilliant one? How will you take this?

Also share me what you have sold this year to buy some Bitcoin, we will still be here in 2025 and I can't wait to share my incredible success story on the forum, Bitcoin loading, 100% acquired.

What are you doing to get yours? Let's talk
Well, you said "some" and not all, so I consider it a way for you to "diversify" your assets.

For me, it all depends on when did you made that decision. If you made that thing during the peak of cryptocurrency when Bitcoin is at ~$65,000 then I would say that it would be a stupid decision because you bought Bitcoin at it's peak. However, you did it when Bitcoin is near at it's bottom (yes I consider it near the bottom still even though we've seen huge increases already from it's past bottom of ~$17,000), so I guess it's a not-so-brilliant one, but still not a stupid decision either. Maybe a good decision I guess. Some might say "Why did you sell your land for Bitcoin?" or "You just made a wrong decision because of the risk that you might face."

I think that you made that decision because you believe in 4-year cycles, and with that, we're the same. If only I had some lands in the past, I think I might do the same as well. If only I have some properties or some real estate that I'm holding, I might sell some, and buy some Bitcoins. Now with regards to what I sold this year to buy Bitcoin, I didn't sold any, and when I mean I didn't sold, I mean I didn't sell other important things to me just to buy Bitcoin. I used my monthly salary to buy it. I always keep a quarter of my monthly savings to do dollar-cost averaging.

Like I said, some might disagree with what the OP did, but it's his land, and it's his money so I guess he knew the risks that he might face when he made the decision.

There's a reason for the celebration today as Ginebra managed to complete a sweep against SMB with a massive comeback win. The team's never-say-die attitude was evident in this game, and there will be no tomorrow for SMB. Ginebra can now rest early, thanks to the excellent comeback win they just achieved. Congratulations to the bettors who had faith in Ginebra and did not listened into the trap thing as the result confirmed that it's not.
They have made it to the finals once again, and there will be no sister team this time as Ginebra has swept SMB. Coach Gallent must have realized that they cannot be a championship team without JMF, and the organization must have learned that letting go of Arwind Santos and Cabagnot was not a wise decision. In fact, SMB began to struggle after these two starters were traded.
Many would've thought that SMB will win Game 3. I also saw on Stake at one time yesterday where the odds of Ginebra winning the game went to as high as 4.00 which is hilarious, and TBH I didn't expect Ginebra to win on that game as well.

At one moment the SMB are leading by 7 with only a few minutes left. I went downstairs, and get some food then a few minutes later, I saw the game ended already and the Ginebra won. "I mean WTF!!". Those are the words that I said at that moment, but it is what it is. Congratulations to Ginebra. The absence of Fajardo and the Coach Gallent being inexperienced are the main reasons why they got swept, but better luck next time I guess.
1524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Laszlo Hanyecz see it as 10,000 BTC or as $41? on: March 30, 2023, 06:47:07 AM
Neither of the 2 I believe.

After all, he didn't know that a thing called Bitcoin would be this popular after more than a decade, and besides, he didn't regret doing it like what he said in an interview. What he did became his greatest achievement (maybe), and one of the most iconic days of cryptocurrency. He just showed that if he can buy something using Bitcoin then we can do as well as long as both parties agreed into it.

Well, just to answer you OP, I think he saw 10,000 as $41 because if he didn't saw it like that then probably he's still holding it a few years after he did that transaction. Either way, he's happy with what he done with no regrets at all, and I will feel the same as well if I'm the one who did that because we both don't know what can be the future of Bitcoin. There are some more investors in the early years of Bitcoin where they sold it at a lower price for some reasons.
1525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 30, 2023, 03:02:06 AM
Lakers looking good so far as well, now with Lebron back there is a good chance of making the playins or maybe even the playoffs straight up. But there will be another 4 road games ( even though the last one is with the clippers so it's basically a home game ) before finishing the season with 2 games at home. Winning today would be a huge step towards the post season, lets see if they can hold on to the lead in the 2nd half.
They got the lead early in the first, Bulls went back to tie the game and take the lead at some point, but in the end the Lakers won on the road 121-110.

Davis and Lebron lead the team scoring 38 & 25 points while the whole starting 5 of the Lakers scored a total of 107 points while the bench only scored 14. Well they won on the road, and it's a must win for them as they are trying to at least get a play-in spot.

Anyway, did anybody saw the Reaves doing the "too small" gesture against Pat Bev? Remember on their last game, Beverley did this to Lebron on Crypto.com arena, and now the Lakers got the revenge thru Reaves doing it to Beverley. Even Davis and Russell are too happy with that action, while Beverley acted like nothing happened. Karma strikes him hard. Cheesy Here's the video anyway, it's' kind of funny that even the commentators surprised and laughed at it. Got the revenge.

1526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 30, 2023, 02:35:17 AM
Lots of games to pick from. A long parlay seems to be difficult to win too because of the high spreads.
New York Knicks - Miami Heat - Miami Heat (4.5) It's been a long time since I took a bet for the underdog so here we go. It's kind of confusing why the Knicks are the favorites while I see Butler in props.

Philadelphia 76ers - Dallas Mavericks - Mavs ML @2.75 Another underdog. I am giving the Mavs a chance after I saw some light when they defeated the Pacers in a blowout. Coach Kidd should really use McGee if ever Embiid will play. James Harden still out.

Portland Trail Blazers - Sacramento Kings - Sacramento Kings (-11.5) Against the Portland bench after shutting down Damian. This will be an easy win for the Kings, I hope they will cover the spread.
I didn't have time to share my bets way earlier, but before I sleep a few hours ago, I already put a parlay bet on some of the home teams.

Looks like your first 2 bets lost. Randle got only 3 points in this game because he got an ankle sprain on the final minutes of the 2nd quarter. I just hope that he's ok, and it's nothing serious because the playoffs are coming, and he's one of those players who played every game this season as well. The Knicks got the win anyway with the help of Quickley and Grimes who got 24 & 23 points.

As for the Mavericks-Sixers, still the Mavericks are struggling to at least get a spot in the play-in tournament as they lost to the Sixers. Let's remember that the Mavs have reached the Conference Finals last season, and in this season, they can't even reach the playoffs. Embiid, Maxey and Harden only scored 62 total points because the benched helped them and scored a total of 39 points. I wonder how Luka is feeling right now after seeing his team struggling. Him requesting a trade on the off-season? Cheesy

Anyway, here is my parlay bet that I put earlier. 3 out of 4 teams already won, and I'm just waiting for the result of Timberwolves and the Suns. Good Luck to bettors.

1527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is crazy on: March 29, 2023, 02:48:11 PM
~
Shiba inu was predicted to reach 50$ per token, this woman said God revealed this price to her, another channel which is also a lady claimed that God said Shiba inu will be the new wealth transfer for people in few years to this time.

I read some comments and I saw how many people belief in this prophecy, has anyone seen something like this before. What do you believe?
Craziness at it's peak. We're seeing the craziest of the craziest things that people can ever think about cryptocurrency.

God revealed to the woman that the price of Shiba Inu is $50 per token? I don't know what words can I use with that one. Stupidity? Hilarious? Crazy? Idiotic? A Foolish woman?

There's no need to calculate the total supply, or the total market cap whatsoever. This will not happen. Not in a hundred years. What's even crazier is that, there are still people who are believing in this "prophecy" that they are saying (I call it stupidity), just because it's their "GOD" who revealed it to them. Well, we are seeing how crazy a group of people can be. We've seen crazy things made by people in the past, but to reveal the coin and it's price in the future by their so-called "GOD" is something that I didn't think it will happen. I want to laugh, but I feel pity to them.
1528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trust in cryptocurrency? on: March 29, 2023, 02:13:13 PM
Sometimes I ask my friend or colleague if he knows what Bitcoin is, and if they're young (20-35 years old), they say, "Yes, I've heard about it. But I don't know much about it."
If I'm talking to older people (40–60), mostly they don't know what it is.
Older people lived in an era where, the only thing that has value for them is money. They don't even know at that time that a thing called "stock market" even exists. Only a few people maybe, but most don't know it. Now that they are old already, they don't have time to bother themselves and try to learn a thing called cryptocurrency. I mean for themselves, they are old already, and they wanted to live their lives the way they wanted to without any hindrances whatsoever.

As for the younger ones, at least different assets like crypto, stock market and others are becoming more popular already, and with the help of social media and the internet, these young ones can see it easily, and it's up to them if they will try to learn it or not.

We are living in a world of big changes in every aspect of life. But do you think it will be time when cryptocurrency will come into our lives and be normal for all people? Will people be able to trust crypto?

I'm wondering what your opinion is about this.
TBH, it's hard. With all the scams happening in the crypto world, it's hard for the people to trust it. Yes the world is changing, and it's changing very rapidly, but trusting crypto might took some years or even decades for it to happen. Aside from trust, there are some problems as well.
1529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why I might consider selling my Bitcoin. on: March 29, 2023, 01:54:14 PM
Health Issues: Health is wealth, which means without health a man is not wealthy. If there is any sickness that needs money for me or any member of the family to seek medical help, I might decide to sell some of my bitcoin holding to cover the bills. It is only the living that can enjoy the benefit of any investment.
Loss of source of income: A loss of a job or business might force me to sell some of my holdings if I exhaust all my savings. I and my family needs to be alive to enjoy our investment, so we need food and other basic needs to survive. it will be painful but it will be better than begging or taking loans.
Both of these reasons aren't enough for me to sell my Bitcoins... or I might depending on the reasons.
Why?

Because I have emergency funds that's enough to cover these 2. For Health Issues, I think I've had enough money that's I have been saved to cover enough, but if the worst thing comes where it wasn't enough, then I might sell a portion of not just my crypto holdings, but other assets as well to cover the bills. As for the Loss of income source, like I said I have emergency funds that's enough to cover me at least a year even I don't have any income source. I think that time horizon is enough for me to find another job.

Business opportunity: Many people in my country are migrating to developed to seek better employment opportunities. Many of them are cheaply selling their properties and businesses. If I have the opportunity to buy a cheap house or business, I might decide to sell some of my bitcoin because the profit from the business will help me to buy more bitcoin in the future. House rent is expensive in my country and it is really taking a large chunk of my income. If I own a house, my house rent can be used to buy more bitcoin.
This isn't applicable for me since I'm not a business-minded person, but for sure, there are some who already took some profit and sold some of their Bitcoins so that they will have money to be used if they want to make a business.

Unfavorable government policies: If the government of my country decides to ban the holding or use of bitcoin, I might be forced to dispose of them. I will not want to be hiding from law enforcement agencies or risk being arrested. I don't wish this to happen but if it does, I will have to take that hard and painful decision.
We in our country are quite lucky that our government is just neutral on cryptocurrencies.
What I mean is that, we don't hear any positive things on him that is related to crypto, but at the same time, we aren't hearing any negatives as well unlike in other countries where they are imposing a ban to use cryptocurrencies.

In summary, there are just two broad reasons that will make me sell my coins, first emergencies such as sickness and loss of a source of income, and better opportunities that will give me more financial backup to buy more bitcoin.
Same as you, I also think that the 2 options that you said are the only reasons why I will sell Bitcoins, but overall, selling Bitcoins is my last resort in case I'm in need of money. Maybe my only concrete reason as to why I will be selling my Bitcoins is to just take profit, re-invest or buy something that will generate me more money.
1530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 29, 2023, 01:25:08 PM

Channing Frye's TNT halftime prediction was spot on. That act of Draymond Green was a wake-up call for the Warriors and it was all worth the technical foul he received.
Congratulations to all the winners.

If Draymond Green gets another technical foul in the next game, he will be suspended. It would be a smart move if he could intentionally get a technical foul before the playoffs to avoid missing a playoff game. However, deliberately getting a technical foul is not allowed as it violates the rules of the game.

The Warriors will be hosting the Spurs in their next game, and it seems like an easy opponent.
He went in Ingram first because he intentionally bumped him on a fast break. Luckily, he got a flagrant foul penalty 1 on that one instead of a technical, and I'd rather choose a flagrant foul penalty one than a technical on Green which is an automatic suspension for the next game. The second one is when Herb Jones and Green tangled with each other while they're down, and luckily Green got away with it again. Overall, he has 2 chances of getting that technical and an automatic 1 game suspension, but he got away with both of them.

As for the whole Warriors team, I'm just lucky that I put my bet on them when they're down double digits. I mean we've seen the Warriors down double digits in their home at halftime, and when they come back, they will let threes rain on their home, getting the momentum and eventually the victory.

Spurs seems an easy opponent, but I guess the Warriors doesn't need to be that confident because even though they are playing well on their home, we've seen some upsets coming from bottom teams already because they've defeated some top teams.
1531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 29, 2023, 12:38:09 PM
As for the Warriors and Pelicans, I will watch the game, and probably bet while watching. Smiley

I'm with you on this, but I'll be placing my bet on the Warriors. I plan to wait for an opportunity for them to fall behind by double digits before placing my bet, as I believe this will give me better odds or spread. A spread of -3.5 should be reasonable as I don't think they will mess up again. The fact that the Warriors may be down early is not a problem, as they are known for their ability to come back and beat their opponent by double digits.
I do really hope that you really put your bet on this one because I did though it the odds wasn't that high when I put my bet (1.79).

They did it again. From down 20 at one point to win the game by double digit as well. Ingram was unstoppable in the first half, but was not scoring that much in the 2nd half. On the other hand, Splash Brothers, Poole Party, and Kuminga are doing the offense. Well, let's give credits to Green and DiVincenzo as well because they helped the team to make a comeback "again" on their home. It's good that I went all in with them even though they are down double digits in the first half. Cheesy.

By the way, did you watch the Celtics vs Wizards game? The game has already ended, and the Wizards upset the Celtics with a blowout win. The spread was +11 for the Wizards before the game.
I watched it, and put a bet on them at the odds of 3.9 I guess. Luckily, I won. A blowout win indeed, and that snapped the losing streak of Washington. Without Kuzma and Beal, they have KP who lead the team with 32 points, and Avdija who has 25 points as well (career high).

Charlotte has just secured another win against a play-in tournament contender by defeating the OKC Thunder, following their two victories over the Dallas Mavericks. Despite being out of the competition, this team is not done yet. It's unfortunate that they have been inconsistent throughout the season and only seem to get better in the later rounds. However, there's hope that they will be fully healthy next season, and who knows, they might have a chance to make it to the playoffs.
That was a good game for both teams.

PJ Washington got his career high as well with 43 points, and 7 of them got double digits as well. On the other hand, 3 of the OKC players (Jalen Williams, Isaiah Joe, Josh Giddey) got 30+ points on this game. That's the 3rd time in OKC history that 3 players scored 30 or more points in a single game. An achievement for a young team I guess.

I believe the most exciting match to watch will be between TNT and Meralco. The series is currently tied at one game apiece, and while the first game was not particularly exciting, Meralco did manage to come back and win the second game against TNT, despite some struggles where they let TNT nearly catch up.

Meralco's strength lies in their defense, which they will need to rely on given that they have only a few outside shooters. On the other hand, they will need to hope that TNT misses their outside shots.
Game 1 between these 2 is a one-sided game, but the Bolts adjusted in Game 2, and because of that, they stole Game 2.

On Stake, the odds for Meralco is 4.20 while on TNT, it's 1.20. I don't know if it's just me, but I see the odds of the Bolts very attractive knowing that they won in Game 2. There's a chance that they might do it again in Game 3. I also skipped the first game, and didn't put any bets on there. I'll watch this TNT-Meralco later when I have free time.

Who will prevail? Meralco's defense, or TNT's Offense. Cheesy The winner of Game 3 surely will take the momentum on this series.

This last option for me is to find an employee who wants to earn money and has a percentage of the profits.
You still have 2 options.
1. Just buy Bitcoin, or whatever asset you may want, and then just hold it.
2. Just forget trading at all.

I mean with that huge amount of money that you have, you can invest into multiple assets with that. Buying Bitcoin and holding it, buying a stocks that provides annual dividends. I mean why pursue trading if you aren't profiting from it. Trading isn't for everyone like they're saying. I tried trading already, but most of the time, I'm losing money more than I'm winning so I stopped it already.

Thank you all for these great tips. I have one last question. Can I find universities to teach digital analysis?
Note: I do not want to study online.
Digital analysis? You mean Technical Analysis right? And you want a university to teach you.
They can't even teach us how to earn money online, and you want a university to teach you? You got a lot of money, but you're a picky guy that you don't want to study online. Maybe pick an expert, hire that one to teach you technical analysis. That isn't online, but a 1-on-1 training, and just pay him. You got lots of money right?
1534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Devin Haney vs Vasiliy Lomachenco - May 20 on: March 29, 2023, 12:42:09 AM

I also see a lot of similarities in Haney's style with Mayweather, which I don't like, because they handle everything about technical boxing very well, these are things that make them much more intelligent, of course we as fans don't like it , because what we are looking for is always the combinations, the strategies, the techniques and above all the way in which the boxers will react to certain attacks that the boxers give.

Remembering the fight between Pacquiao and Mayweather can produce anger in some, because it was seen that what Mayweather did was run in the ring and still won, something very unfair, and the worst thing is that there was never a rematch.

I kinda hate to say this but I also don't like the boxing style of Mayweather and anyone alikes. I'm not saying that they're not an elite fighter because they weren't showing a spectacular display of combinations fighting toe to toe against their opponent, but the skills that they have are kinda boring to watch. I know some boxing fans and analyst wouldn't agree to this because they see Mayweather's boxing skills as a very intelligent one. Yeah, I don't deny that, he is indeed an intelligent fighter who is very agile to anticipate the punches thrown towards him, able to counter with a quick jab and able to get out of the situation when he's at a disadvantage. That's some serious skills right there, but then again, a boring one. People want to see exchanges of blows, exciting matches, and toe to toe matches.
I had watched Mayweather's fights, and like you said, he's boring to watch as hell. Like he is more defensive than offensive. You don't see him throwing punches more often, but he is waiting for his opponent to lose his patience, throw punches, and slowly countering him until such time that he can knocked that opponent down.

On the other hand, it's boring, but that made him undefeated in professional boxing (disregard those troll fights where he will fight celebrities). Even the 8-time division champion Pacquiao lost against him (controversial though). How "Tank" Davis fights in the ring is way better than Mayweather even though he mentored him for almost a decade now. Davis got the defensive skills of Mayweather, but at the same time, he's an explosive fighter and throws a lot more, and stronger punches.

Haney and Mayweather's way of fighting is almost the same that's why the fight between Haney and Kambosos Jr. (first fight) became one of the most boring fights I've ever watched to the point that I slept while watching the fight.
1535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 29, 2023, 12:10:42 AM
Nothing too exciting going on in the NBA today. A couple games on TNT but the only game that seemed interesting to me was the late game between the Golden State Warriors and the New Orleans Pelicans. They’re still jockeying for position in the playoff race so it should be a hard fought game. Everyone in New Orleans is hoping we see Zion Williamson sooner than later.
As for Zion, this is what's stated on ESPN website.
"Williamson (hamstring) has been cleared for on-court activities and will be re-evaluated in two weeks."

The playoffs starts on the 15th of April, and they will re-evaluate them for 2 weeks. If the Pelicans will get at least the 10th spot, I'm guessing he will not play still in the play-in tournaments, but he can in the playoffs. Nevertheless, him getting injured really impacted the whole Pelicans team too much because he's one of the main offensive player, and their main guy when they got the top spot at the start of the season. Unfortunately, they are like the Nets when Durant got injured last season. Both teams are at the top at one time, and when their main guy got injured, their standing went down in an instant.

As for the Warriors and Pelicans, I will watch the game, and probably bet while watching. Smiley
1536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: <POLL> What Kind of Bitcoiner are You? on: March 28, 2023, 01:34:42 PM
Maximalist Bitcoiners  These believer sees bitcoin as global freedom and economical empowerment.

Technocrate Bitcoiners  These leagues believes that Bitcoin is the dominant digital monetary network.

Investors theses individuals sees Bitcoin as digital goods.

If I say that I'm a maximalist, it also means that I'm an investor too right?
If I say that I'm a Technocrate, it also means that I'm an investor too right?
So what's the difference between the three?

Aside from the Skeptics which is obviously not where I belong, I think those 2 options out there (Maximalist and Technocrate) fall under investor option. Well, I guess I'm just a simple investor in the end. Well, aside from the investor option, maybe I can consider myself as a Maximalist because I see Bitcoin as a global freedom, and it's the only cryptocurrency that matters to me. I'm not a Technocrate, and obviously not a skeptic.
1537  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dare to take such gamble? on: March 28, 2023, 01:09:38 PM

*My question for you*

Will you dare take such a gamble if you have the money? 🤑🤑🤑

Well why not, I'm not an expert in price speculation but this $1 million bet in 90 days reminds me of Mcafee's bet of cutting his cock if Bitcoin did not reach $1 million by 2020.
I'm not saying his prediction is impossible but the logic behind the $1 million in 90 days is quite hard to comprehend as the US will do everything for the dollar not to experience deflation, I like Bitcoin to reach I guess we all do but the US government are smart enough to let their dollar suffer deflation.
You reminded me of that "McAfee cutting his dick" again. Cheesy
He already died (RIP), but Bitcoin didn't even reach 6 digits yet. Well, I wish he can still see Bitcoin reaching a million dollars after 2 decades I guess.

Well, I wonder if how many people will dare to take this gamble. That poster will let you buy 1 BTC, the price of Bitcoin will rise up. I wonder how many investors are needed to buy 1 BTC in order for it's price to reach a million dollars, and take note, there is a time horizon for it which is 90 days.

One thing more is that, "PAST PREDICTIONS DOESN'T MEAN THE SAME IN THE FUTURE". Yes that user might have correct predictions, but is it always the case? Even most of Nostradamus' predictions ending up as a fail, and doesn't happen. Same with here. The user's past predictions doesn't mean that he will be correct again. Like you OP, I also find it impossible to happen, and for sure most of us are thinking the same. A million dollar per Bitcoin in 3 months is impossible. A million dollar per Bitcoin in 3 decades sounds realistic to me.

I will expect that the Jazz will come back more stronger next season as they will rectify their mistakes and improve what they lack this upcoming off-season.

They have built great chemistry already, and for sure, they will be even stronger next season. Hopefully, Clarkson will be healthy again so he can help the team. Sometimes, you can really rely on him in clutch moments, as he always delivers. I'm seeing that he is an underrated superstar, but we don't know how long he will stay with the Jazz if his demands are not met.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Utah Jazz have 15 future draft picks. Talking about Danny Ainge thinking a mile away from other teams.
Another one is that, at the start of the season, when we saw that they traded Mitchell and Gobert already, we already know that they are on a rebuilding phase already. It's just that, we didn't expect how they performed at the start of the season, but we know that it wasn't sustainable until the end of the season.

The Jazz are now on a rebuilding phase, and with that many future draft picks, we really expect that they have many assets to use so that they can get at least an all-star player or an emerging one. Chemistry has been there already, and aside from that, they also have key players that might help the team like Markannen and Clarkson. Their big guy Walker Kessler is performing really well as a rookie this season as well. They have many trade assets as well with their draft picks.

Currently, the Jazz are 2 games behind the 10th seeded Thunder, and looking at their remaining schedule, 6 of their 7 games are against either teams who are sure already of clinching the playoffs, or teams who are fighting for the spot like the Thunder and the Lakers (twice). Kind of hard schedule is the least that I can say, but who knows.
1539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can a casino ever run without the government's awareness? on: March 28, 2023, 10:48:53 AM
It's possible, but the question is how long it will stay.
Another one is that, it will depend on how small or huge a casino is. There are some small-scale casinos out there who are operating, but isn't sustainable. On the other hand, there are large casinos out there, and for sure, government will know it because over time, it will become more popular hence, government will notice it.

I don't know if it's just me being dumb or I really don't know, but who will create a decentralized casino right now? What if something goes wrong with the casino? Who will the user contact to? What if the user won a huge amount of money, but turns out it is a bug coming from the system? Who will they approach with that problem? What if there's a problem with the withdrawal process? Who they will call and share their problem?

Overall, it's possible to create a decentralized gaming platform, but it isn't sustainable. As for a casino running without government's awareness, still depends on how small or large the casino is.
