2341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Support Casino Operated By The Bitcointalk Members on: October 11, 2022, 11:08:42 PM
Operated by a forum-member or not, the chance of supporting it especially from any gambler here is much more higher than anyone could imagine. But of course, it needs to reach people expectations here no ifs, no buts.

Well, every casino representative/admin made an account here so it counts, right? Or are you specifically referring to these DT members?
2342  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Account Deletion on: October 11, 2022, 06:32:00 PM
Since the forum was moved to it’s current domain in august 2011, and the procedure to delete an account was depicted in September 2011 as requiring the Admin (se quote below), I doubt it has ever actually been an option for the user to self-delete his account, at least under the current domain.

To delete your account:
- Delete all of your posts you want deleted
- PM me with the name you want your remaining posts credited under
Thanks for the clarification. That forum/smf help page really needs a rebump if ever it is possible. Or just disabled it for showing completely as it doesn't reflect the same features on the current forum existing feature.
2343  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Want old Bitcoin account on: October 11, 2022, 04:32:59 PM
Its actually for petty reasons, I dont use this forum actually, just having a competition with some friends about who can prove they have known about crypto the longest. completely petty I know. the account can be never used, just need the date around then as I have a friend that can prove 2011.
Eh? For what reason, is there a bet/reward for it?
Or what benefits it will give for you or to your friend?

Having an old account doesn't mean you have broader knowledge regarding bitcoin/crypto (you can learn now and brag it to anyone). It doesn't mean you're the original owner too (well, you are here for that reason too). But yeah, you can be called OG's as old members.

Well, can't help it, anyone have their reasons. Friendly advice, just don't let anyone know or else that account will be ruined.
2344  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Account Deletion on: October 11, 2022, 03:40:32 PM
It's been three years when you created this account and a few years after no single post and now you are posting it here and asking about the account deletion. Is there's any problem?
Ha, probably, he woke up and still can login here lol. Kidding aside deleting account is possible base on help page[1] but the thing the feature is not there anymore. And it says that admin can[2] delete accounts too, but i wonder if theymos really do it.
Anyway, threads linked above are the most easiest way to do it e.g. changing password to random characters then just logout, simple.

2345  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to Cancel or Stop BTc pending transaction on: October 11, 2022, 03:25:48 PM
I guess you (OP) should at least replied here on what platform did you use to transact or if ever you have control over that transaction you are saying. Because if you don't have then all the suggestions above (RBF usually on electrum which i think you don't use by the type of your question) cannot be executed.
2346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Formula 1's Crypto.com Sponsor Is Falling Apart on: October 10, 2022, 11:56:00 PM
Also if you were CEO of cryptodotcom what steps would you take to secure the future of your brand? Is there an exit strategy or recession proof business plan that they can deploy here to turn things around?
I actually don't know since business is not an expertise of mine lol.

That's huge responsibility to take care of actually. I wonder if they have an exit plan to welcome to bear market such huge as this or just it exceed their expectations, probably this is the case. The thing is most huge crypto business suffers so much.  It's like 50% of bitcoin or other crypto decreases its value that  affects businesses so much.

I'm not really sure if this is what your friend is trying to do, got it for several tries using my smartphone lol.

Here is the one[1] sorted by sale_date
This one[2] is sorting with the purchase_date
And this one[3] is for both sales and purchase

2348  Economy / Gambling / Re: To what extent do you chase anonymity while gambling? on: October 10, 2022, 11:53:27 AM
I have withdrawn a lot of times from reputable casinos who may ask KYC only if that big amount withdraw is requested or they have some suspicions about your account,so far they have not asked me KYC or anything, they just let the withdraws through.
Make sense, this is a casino people usually preferred.

Although, the OP is asking the importance of anonymity, this  case doesn't suit as providing the KYC is contradicting to anonymity.

Well, as long as there is a reputed casino that doesn't require KYC then why not plus a deposit transaction from a custodial wallet is enough for being anonymous (IMO).
2349  Economy / Gambling / Re: What are the Bitcoin casinos with first deposit bonuses? on: October 10, 2022, 09:21:33 AM
I don't have fav casino sites and not looking any new sites to register and provide my KYC so i will just give you a list from a website which has what you are looking for.

The list is on this website[1]. Although there are sites who has bad reputation here on that list so you can just ignore them.
Also, the thread linked above is so much helpful. If you think it answer your question i guess locking the thread is much helpful for the mods.

Disclaimer: i dont advertise that site nor have anything to do with them, just they have the list of what you are looking.

2350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: REFLEX ACTION IN GAMBLING AND TIPS TO AVOID ITS PITFALLS. on: October 09, 2022, 11:08:42 PM
You should indicate what is the posted website all about, don't just put it there like you are a newbie who is promoting his site after a long post.
If you copy-pasted some phrase from that website you posted then indicate it as the source of your post's points.

Back to the topic, hmm yes, most of these are really important to be kept in mind when doing gambling.
2351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC price manipulation on: October 09, 2022, 10:59:50 PM
There is no so called respect when a particular whale is going to sell or buy again and vice versa or simply manipulating the market. Mostly whales that only sells or buys hundred of bitcoin doesn't do much actually in bitcoin market.

Unlike if its an institutional investors who sold their particular holdings then do the PR what they did, although this isn't market manipulation but price will be much affected.
2352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why 95% online Gambling websites are Scam? on: October 09, 2022, 03:44:35 PM
You are being roasted because you are giving false information about casinos, 95% is such a very high number, can you show us where you get that stat, or is it just an opinion
Highly likely just a guess due to bitterness, hate or something.

Casino who have probably fair algorithm cannot cheat, you are playing with your luck. Mostly those who are saying that a casino cheats coz they lost, are those who are unlucky. Every game has its own percentage a gambler can win. Highest is 50% chance while other only 49% or below 49 which is probably the case. Having a lose streak in 7-10 bets is still possible though so if you're unlucky then try to rest after several lossing bets.
2353  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can I know That How much earnings Can be generated Through Signature? on: October 09, 2022, 03:32:03 PM
I may be wrong in your case (even though I doubt it), but that is not a behavior of a legit newbie account and instead of someone who already has some experience here and probably has a couple of accounts doing in bounty campaigns.
Well, you're not wrong though, the above post me proves it all. Btw nice catch YOSHIE, i wonder how much time it takes before you get those info but doesn't matter anyway, good job.

So, a good campaign,  might help the promoters website to get a better position in Google searches
Only if the campaign runs in few months or years. But soon as it ends and participants remove the signature links, and a new cache is saved by google and crawled by googlebot, seo ranks will probably decrease. That's why these exisiting long running campaigns really benefits the most.
2354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shit coins era is going to end on: October 08, 2022, 09:38:39 PM
No, not today, even in few more years. This so called shitcoins are the ones sometimes firing up the boring area of crypto. Where it indirectly influence people to trade other shitcoins and grows hype to the crypto community, although it's only temporary, it will burst later on.
Also, the bad side of it. Where the whole community is attacked because of on X project scammed it's users or the platform is hacked.

Because bitcoin is always be bitcoin, no more feature it can possibly be added, people only getting hyped when a practical BIP is introduced, and getting hype from influenced people or some specific country's government decision.

2355  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can I know That How much earnings Can be generated Through Signature? on: October 08, 2022, 09:25:34 PM
Then I now have a question; does the signature we wear in the forum has any promotional or visibility effects outside this forum?
Obviously, no, the same thing when you make an advertisement to facebook or google. Although you can say it may, in indirect way, because of SEO (for google) but nothing much due to different reasons. One is because of wearing or removing signatures in just a short period of time as SEO takes effect at least 2 months or so.
2356  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Preev is down, Im happy to announce the official launch of Pnnv.com on: October 08, 2022, 03:31:07 PM
Hello!

Is it ok when I choose two sources, the exchange rate doubles?
screenshot: https://prnt.sc/7OWbnfat0unz
I have checked and it actually is in my end. Now that's a bug which OP needs to fix, although he is in the process of updating/upgrading the site (he mentioned) i know he already aware of this specific problem so probably waiting is the only thing we can do at least for now.
2357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Borderless! on: October 07, 2022, 11:51:27 PM
The Philippine 🇵🇭 should be there too considering that PH is one of the crypto-friendly countries. Many licensed exchanges are registered[1] here in PH actually, in partnered with friendly crypto regulations[2] too.

Also, including the China's flag seems is a bit off considering they are the number one in the list of countries who hate bitcoin. But anyway, let's just welcome them in any way.

2358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: They want your money by all means possible on: October 07, 2022, 10:10:57 PM
I think that most people who invest on these new projects are those people who actually knew these projects are going to run. But think differently and risks only to hype the project , go with the flow and run together with the team, or even earlier soon as they make profit and never comes back.

Why i think this way? Because it's too obvious, there are lots of info you can read on how to prevent scams on google even on TVs. But you will still wonder why people are hype, still posting about the projects on twitter or everywhere and even self promoting it.
Plus, new projects are really prone to getting pump and dump scheme where these smart investors make profit out of scam/suspicious projects.
2359  Other / Meta / Re: Do you want a BitcoinCleanup factoid? on: October 07, 2022, 06:01:40 AM
I'll go for a yes. As it will fall to "interesting" and "useful" base on the description theymos provide for a factoid.

Does anyone have any suggestions for new factoids?

 - They should be less than about 300 visible characters long.
 - They can contain links and basic styling.
 - A random forum user reading a random factoid should have a good chance of thinking that it was interesting, funny, or useful.

But for me it would be better if the factoid will not sounds as an ad. Like eureka, facts and studies, maybe like...

"Did you know that America's electronics use more energy than Bitcoin. For more facts about Bitcoin Proof of Work mining check Bitcoincleanup.com"

Or same in the BPIP factoids format.
"Did you know that Bitcoin Proof of Work Mining is actually **Good for the environment?"
"Did you know that Most of Bitcoin PoW environment myths are not true?"

Well, that just for me though, most of the quoted above are taken from the website btw...
2360  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits limit my betting limits (Becausue I consistenly winning) on: October 06, 2022, 11:48:58 PM
Accounts limit are pretty normal to every casino esp. if you reached that limit due to regularly betting. But this is only a timely limit, a monthly  or weekly, depends. I don't think there's something you can do but to ask their support to increase your  account's limit in any way they approve like depositing xxxx amount or what if possible.
