2341  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: They say 200% in 7 14 or 21 days? on: October 07, 2015, 08:25:01 PM
im wondering is it working i would like to try it

Sure it works, it works great in fact. Here's how:

1. You deposit bitcoin at the site.
2. You never hear back and your bitcoin is gone.

These scams works great!

Begging maybe?  Cheesy

If you found this post helpful please send me bitcoin.   Wink
2343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MasterCard Exec: ‘Bitcoin Doesn't Really Work in Today's Environment’ on: October 07, 2015, 08:13:22 PM
I don't have time for this exec right now. I am dealing with my corporate master card, which has been duplicated and used to buy groceries in Texas. And he says bitcoin does not work? Oh please, the ancient credit card system is completely broken and plain unsafe to use.
2344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel about the negative reputation of the bitcoin currency? on: October 07, 2015, 05:54:00 PM
Bitcoin is just money...
That's a great commentary, but I think you're missing the point of my post.

Sorry I'll...

Aren't you concerned that the utility you value so much will be lost if only a few people are left using it?
Yes. lol. There are no guarantees of course, but I think we are past the infancy stage and it will take a lot to kill bitcoin now. To date I have never even seen a viable way to kill it. So I'm just not worried about price or the future at the moment. I feel like the war is over, and brother, we won!

Sorry I'll try again then. I really don't care about what others think of bitcoin.  Cheesy
For me it is the fastest, cheapest, and most secure way to move money. That is more than enough to make it the only money I use online. I will use it as long as I can and expect that will be the rest of my life.
2346  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: How many time until get back my investment? on: October 07, 2015, 05:34:47 PM
The problem is scale. There was a time when you could mine from home and be profitable. But now things are at an industrial level and you will need to go big or go home. Look at the picture below and you see your competition. Those are acres of racks containing advanced chips just for mining BTC.

bad ass
2348  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Easy ways of turning bitcoins into money? on: October 07, 2015, 04:20:51 PM
The easiest way is to recognize that bitcoin IS money.
2349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No One Cares About You on: October 07, 2015, 03:20:57 PM
What have you done to contribute to Bitcoin success ...
Truth, right there. In 2013 vast numbers of users were involved in projects to push forward the bitcoin economy. Now we have vast numbers of freeloaders who think they will get rich from ass sitting. The price has adjusted accordingly. Sorry, but bitcoin offers no free lunch.
2350  Other / Politics & Society / Re: MORE THAN A DOZEN REPORTEDLY KILLED IN SHOOTING AT OREGON COMMUNITY COLLEGE on: October 07, 2015, 02:38:53 PM
What is wrong with people that can't live with others who think differently? Sad. At least we have the right to carry protection against these nuts.

Unless you are a security guard, with no gun, on that campus.

That is why these people choose a campus. It is a safe zone for active shooters. The victums in this case followed the mindless training they received. That is they shut the classroom door and pretended everything will be ok. In the end it takes guns to stop an active shooter and anything less is self delusion.

You know in fact that at least one student was armed?

John Parker, a 36-year-old military veteran, was on campus during the tragic and terrifying Oregon mass shooting at Umpqua Community College Thursday, and he was carrying a concealed handgun. But in interviews after the incident, he explained why he did not attempt to intervene and take down the killer himself.

Anyways, I will recognize that the security personnel should be trained in firearm use and should have access to one should such an emergency go down. I do think that it's not exactly necessary for campus security to be armed 24/7, but that's debatable.
No. I did not know that. Although he could not really respond legally anyway. He said he was "quite a distance away from the building the shooter was in". Your CC licenses does not give you the right to respond to a crime, only protect yourself and others from a threat "in your immediate presence".
Moving to the threat and shooting could be called murder.
2351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel about the negative reputation of the bitcoin currency? on: October 07, 2015, 02:29:16 PM
Bitcoin is just money, and money always attracts the greedy and a criminal element. There is nothing special or different with bitcoin. You must pay taxes on bitcoin earnings or face the same penalties as any tax cheat.
That's how I see it as an American. However if I lived in a shitty dictatorship I would see bitcoin as a way to get justice by evading the government. If i lived in a totalitarian country I would see bitcoin as a financial liberator. Bitcoin is not a tool to judge social benefit or make a moral statement. It is just money.

2353  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: PCB Manufacturing on: October 06, 2015, 02:42:44 PM
I have had some success making my own boards. It is surprisingly easy. I think I just ironed on a circuit using an inkjet print and clothing iron. The toner sticks and then you can acid etch off the other copper. Now drill some holes and your done. I have even made fancy designs in the circuit for fun.

What I never get is how they find people who believe in a guaranteed return. Have we become so ignorant of economics that we think this is even possible?
2356  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you allow smoking cigarettes or are you anti-tobacco? on: October 05, 2015, 03:36:55 PM
Allow? What you put in your body is your business.
2357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I successfully double spended $400 of Bitcoin today on: October 05, 2015, 03:32:17 PM
Not really new or an attack. The system requires confirmation before trusting the spend. If one waits for confirmation, as intended, there is no problem.
2358  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Chinese warplanes to join Russia in Syria on: October 05, 2015, 03:26:14 PM
I really don't see how the U.S. has any legitimate complaint here. We sat around for years doing nothing as it got worse and worse. Russia is not acting against U.S. efforts, we have shown nothing but inaction in Syria.
2359  Other / Off-topic / Re: Explain the lights on Ceres on: October 05, 2015, 03:19:23 PM
I believe that is interpreted as light reflecting off brightly colored material that was exposed by a meteor impact. Kinda like digging through dirty snow to find white snow underneath. But it is not light coming from Ceres, that would be huge.
2360  Other / Off-topic / Re: Windows 10 Home edition may force updates on you on: October 05, 2015, 02:46:12 PM
I don't get why everyone is so upset? Unless you are running open source software you don't actually own a computer. Windows owns your computer and you should be seated. Your Microsoft overlords will decide what to do. For Linux users the idea of forced auto updates is like something from another planet.
