Probably the coolest thing I've seen auctioned here, however I think you might be better off listing this on bitpremier if you are starting bidding at 150k. Best of luck with sale  Smiley
2343  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Prime Dice signature scamming trolls on: March 04, 2014, 06:30:08 AM
I'm not interested in censoring people who use our promotion with threats because you don't like them. Feel free to settle the dispute with them not us, the fact that they have PD signatures doesn't really mean a whole lot. Half this forum had them at one point, and I don't think it would be fair to make me responsible for the actions of all those people. This is the last I'll be posting about this, as always feel free to send me full documentation of them "scamming" or consistently spamming and I'll remove them from the promotion. This still wouldn't stop them from attacking your reputation if they don't like you.
2344  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Prime Dice signature scamming trolls on: March 04, 2014, 06:12:04 AM
thanks for your reply stunna.
That tells us you don't want to stick to your own rules. And delete the trolls.
That doesn't look professional

So when rgbkey removes his rubbish thread then we will remove this.
Until then we assume the prime dice program is full of trolls and scammers.

Prove to me they are scammers and I will remove them. I have some guidelines but don't have the time to enforce them strictly. Also it doesn't look like they are either "scamming" or "trolling" from what I've seen, they are simply raising arguments which you disagree with.
2345  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Prime Dice signature scamming trolls on: March 04, 2014, 05:58:26 AM
Hey,

100s of active users participate in our signature promotion, I have no control over the content they post. Nor do I feel like policing the activity of hundreds of people as long as they aren't posting constant spam. Send me full proof that they are making consistent non-constructive/spam posts and I'll gladly remove them from our promotion.

Quote
Because we pay more for signatures, shouldn't be a green light to be trolled and cyber bullied by Prime Dice people.

This is the internet, grow a tougher set of skin.

Also the fact that you think I'm sending out trolls to attack a casino I've never heard of is quite absurd. By the way, if you want some professional advice. I suggest removing this thread and acting more professionally rather than picking fights with people you think are trolls. When you argue with fools nobody can tell who the fool is.

Something I just noticed. Primedice was taking up 1.1GHS of memory. Is there a limit on how much the chat can display?

I'll have that changed to time out a session after a certain amount of inactivity, I'm not sure if just restricting the chat would prevent something like this.

Man I love this site (website performance in general just kicks ass).

Truly provably fair! I've done over 50K rolls and not a single less than 1% event loss streak has occurred. If this site was slightly rigged I would of lost all my bankroll by now(I'm assuming a .65 percentage of failure using the probability binomial distribution [math done below]).

n = 1 Billion (trials)
k = 25 (number of losses I assumed) [Statistically consistent since my highest loss streak using a 50% win/lose was 17].
n-k =  number of failures
p = .55 (I'm testing for loss streak not win streak)
q =  0.45 (win percentage)

To be as accurate/precise I left the binomial coefficient in factorial form in WolfRamAlpha ( Number choose Number is the function you use if you would like to determine binomial coefficients in Wolf!).

Stunna is relativity fast to respond to my emails as well. (great customer service)

Can't wait for Primedice 3 since PD now is just fitting pretty much to all my needs.

So far the stats section looks promising [image below].

PS: Zero confirmations for deposit amount ROCKS!

Thanks Stunna for running an awesome site!

Kind Regards,

decibel

Appreciated the review, glad to see you enjoy the site! Hope to meet your expectations for PD3.

If everyone can do me a favor and block the skype account "primedice" that would be much appreciated. Some guy is pretending to be an investor and is scamming people for $20 each under that skype name. I spoke with skype customer service and they said if enough people block that skype account it will be suspended. Also, I strongly recommend that nobody under any circumstance do any sort of business via skype.
2349  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn up to 2.4 BTC/Month by Posting on: February 28, 2014, 11:07:41 PM
I'm lowering payment for people with the smaller signature to 0.0001 per post. Users who still have the normal sized one will get normal payment (0.0003)

For the purpose of being as fair as possible any posts you made between the 18th-26th will be worth 0.0003. It is your job to add up the posts during that time period. Payments will still be sent on the 17th of March.

At the end of this term I'm going to re-evaluate payment strategies and likely pay for activity instead of post count. It is my understanding that these changes were made due to the heavy spamming being done by many users of these types of promotions. While the majority of people are legitimately posting and being relevant/constructive there are quite a few bots and spammers who have pushed the site staff towards changing their signature policy. PrimeDice 3 is coming out in about a week with a full fledged affiliate system, I'll likely allow participants to edit their links to their personal URL for some extra incentive.

Regards,

Stunna

There should have a bet "primedice will release new version before April 2014"
Cheesy

I think this will just be another case of Ready Soon™, but it's not something you'd want to rush any way. You don't want a buggy site that could potentially be exploited.

Yup, previous PD versions have had loads of issues. I  want to make sure everything will be flawless with PD3.

That being said we are extremely close to having some sort of beta, I can't say when but within 7 days is very do-able. Sorry for all the delays, we've been changing and adding features as we go. PVP ended up being a fairly large time-drain and we didn't initially plan to include this.
2351  Other / Meta / Re: Proposal: Disallow Ads in Signatures on: February 28, 2014, 10:03:30 AM
Perhaps the allowed signature styling should change with activity score / membergroup. Like:
- Newbie: No styling (including links) allowed. Max 40 characters.
- Jr. Member: Links allowed. Max 100 characters.
- Member: Unlimited length.
- Full: Color allowed.
- Sr. Member: Size allowed
- Hero: Background color allowed

Then newbies will be less effective advertisers, which would hopefully significantly reduce the incentive for low-content posts. And when people become capable of effectively advertising through their signatures, they'll have invested a lot of time into their accounts, and they won't risk being banned by spamming.

Can this be stickied somewhere please?

I think that's a fair change, the vast majority of the spam is definitely from Jr member/member accounts. I restricted my promotion to 50+ activity for the last two rounds but it doesn't take very long to get 50. I did make some attempt to disqualify spammers but it was pretty much near impossible to thoroughly look into individual users. What would kill spam completely is probably basing the payments off activity which I'll look into doing if I continue this promotion. If you'd like me to stop doing this entirely I'd be totally willing to cancel it, there are already many competitors though.

Can hardly find this thread anymore due to all the ponzi threads. Will update the services thread later today.

Can someone fill me in to what is going on? I haven't been on bitcointalk much recently.

There is no reason to believe that we've suspended this promotion, it is still ongoing.

EDIT: ah, I see the signatures are minimized now. That was probably a pretty fair thing for the admins to do. Anyone who has the normal sized signature will be paid the current rate. I may reduce the rate for those with small signatures. Also please keep in mind this is still closed to users with 50+ activity.

Don't worry, PrimeDice 3 will be out in Two WeeksTM

I think we're on track to beat BFL if we really hustle. The website is basically done from front to back but we've been changing so many things mostly in terms of design as we've gone along.

PD3 will be out soonTM, fortunately though the mobile version and PVP should launch simultaneously with it.

Sounds great. Is the mobile version an adaptive version of the full site, or is it an app?

Will be a mobile version of the site and there will also potentially be a web app for iPhone.

Is the beta for PD3 going to be closed or open, and if it's closed, who will be allowed in?

I think it will be open beta. Stunna also said on chat that he will maybe do BUG HUNT ! Cheesy That would be awesome !
A bug hunt would be pretty cool, I myself am a professional bug bounty hunter. I am uncontested in my bug hunting ability.

Will be an open beta most likely, we'll be offering bounties through crowd curity as well on this forum.

STUNNA: Will you ever release PD stats? Eg house profit, total bets over a minimum of maybe 0.01?

It would be interesting to see!

We'll potentially do this at some point, have thought about it for a while. There of course certain benefits to remaining 100% private, helps us fly under the radar and shields us from unwanted attention.

n you be sure that it was PrimeDice that caused such alleged damage to your computer? There are many, many users who report no issues whatsoever.

Stunna isn't the scamming type, unless he's in for a long-con lol. But seriously, he pays out what people are due in a fair way. His advertising outgoings are pretty sizeable, so it is very unlikely that he would selectively scam people.

If I had malicious intents in the long term I would create an investment system, I've made it clear I have no interest in doing that. I have no doubt that thousands of coins would be invested if I had chosen to do that.

We've been working on finalizing PVP, we think everyone will enjoy it quite a bit.  Smiley

Will there be a house edge for pvp?

Probably going to go for 0% seeing as there is zero risk for us.

Alright. Will it run on PD, or will it run on a separate domain?

Will be built into PD3.
