1641  Economy / Gambling / Re: DiceBitco.in | BE THE BANK ! | 1% House Edge | 7500+ BTC BANKROLL | INSTANT! on: September 07, 2014, 08:32:43 PM
But 1 thing doesn't add up to DiceBitcoin's story. Why wouldn't the new guy just implement a code to auto withdraw a little bit in the hot wallet every now and then (draining it completely over time).. Doesn't add up.

The new developer apparently had the ability to put whatever changes he wanted live.

The obvious thing to do would be to allow himself to see his server seed. Then he could win undetectably whenever he wanted.

The way the site was stealing from players in a very obvious way makes no sense that I can see other than as an act of sabotage.

I'd like to note that dicebitco.in does not show the bet ID in all bets/high bets thus it wouldn't be very likely for someone to notice a nonce skip especially if this was only effecting users wagering large amounts. There is no way to audit results of other users without them sharing. This is my counter to dooglus's argument that this seems too obvious and appears to be sabotage. Heading out for now, I've left feedback for the time being.

I don't think by naming that person I will prove anything. He is not directly to blame, most of this is on us.

What? He deliberately added code to cheat your players.

How is he not to blame?

You're to blame too, for putting his code live, but he's also to blame for writing the malicious code! How is it fair for him to do this and remain anonymous? Someone else might employ him and get fucked over in the same way.

There's zero reason not to post that info, I highly doubt this person exists though which is your reason. If someone did this to me I would go to the ends of the world to make sure they were never employed again.

I still find it impossible to believe that your site randomly hired someone and gave him full access to server seeds without making any public statement. This seems very unlikely.

If you give dicebitcoin the ultimate benefit of the doubt and assume that there was a "rogue employee" you still have to take into account that they let a random untrustworthy person access their code and thus jeopardize all users on the website. This is the best case scenario, when users trusted you on Just-Dice, they did so assuming you wouldn't do something like that. In my opinion this seems pretty damning. I don't see why a rogue employee would choose to steal in this manner either.

Also, why would someone in that position want to sabotage that website when their potential gain from having that sort of access is so great. He could literally just view the serverseeds and win millions while remaining undetected. The only reason for something like this to occur is to boost the profit of the website.
1644  Economy / Gambling / Re: DiceBitco.in | BE THE BANK ! | 1% House Edge | 7500+ BTC BANKROLL | INSTANT! on: September 07, 2014, 08:02:36 PM
if it was cheating and was so easy to point it out. does that make sense?

you make a site and it genrates millions of dollars in rev in 3 weeks. cheating would not be the smartest business move

Assuming they were interested in scamming they would be able to maintain the house edge profit while continuously robbing from investors (playing with the seeds). This could have gone on for a significant amount of time before being detected if ever. This would give them the guise of being a legitimate and profitable investment/website which would in effect draw mass investments over time.

I still don't understand why people insist on trusting random people on the internet with zero track record with millions.

I'm going to make the wild assumption that this would explain why DB's profit/investments has skyrocketed the past week. I can't see how the nonce skipping can be argued to be anything except for deliberate scamming especially given the positive profit result.  The "rogue employee" story holds no merit either and it wouldn't be the first time I've heard a website use this as an excuse.

I posted my thoughts on them pre-incident: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=716312.msg8474390#msg8474390

1645  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | Most Popular Bitcoin Game | 0.91% Edge | PVP | Jackpot | Faucet on: September 06, 2014, 09:16:45 PM

I have sent the email , I am expecting an answer , also the reason I posted again and again after the email was people knowing jackshit about the subject coming here defending hui .

Sent you a reply.

With regards to the website we are working on finishing up mobile, right now the only fix that needs to get implemented is one for the sidebar. Feels good to finally have time to work on new stuff rather than lag/socket fixes.
1646  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | Most Popular Bitcoin Game | 0.91% Edge | PVP | Jackpot | Faucet on: September 06, 2014, 07:42:02 PM

I have been muted by hui , when does my mute opens ? How can I appeal againts it?

Send an email to support@primedice.com to appeal.

I'll look into opening up some sort of primedice forum as I feel like we are spamming up bitcointalk more and more as our userbase grows.
1647  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: September 06, 2014, 07:31:55 PM
Lol, your seriously going to open a scam accusation against Stunna ?

Dude, you will be laughed right out of the forums if you do that.
I am not sure why you say that. Stunna did promise to pay members (including zvs) a certain amount if zvs displayed the primedice signature on his signature. zvs did not receive the promised payment. How would you describe what happened?

Stunna has been open and transparent from what I and many others have seen with this campaign, so you're in the wrong place..  If you meet the requirements then you will be paid simple as that.  If there was a mistake on the part of a member who joins the campaign then they will need to wait until Stunna is able to sort the issue out.  That will happen when he can do it not when they demand he do it.

Spamming this thread is not doing any good clearly so you may as well just play by the rules like everybody else.  Many have joined this campaign and were paid without issue so if you plan to call Stunna a scammer you need evidence not spam and fud.
He still hasn't responded to any of the ones he hasn't paid. If they're waiting for payments that they qualified for and can prove it - stunna is wrong. If they didn't qualify for the payments, then they're wrong. It's up to the campaign owner to tell them that they didn't qualify.

I don't think you understand my previous post.  If they followed the requirements to be paid like everyone else they will be paid simple as that.  Stunna isn't going to make a decision based on anything else trust me I know.  Again if you meet the requirements to be paid and that should your only concern.  The history of this campaign has shown this to be the case time and time again.  Why not be patient because spamming this thread does nothing to help receive payment faster., clearly.

I am very confident that you guys will get paid.   I'm sure his inbox is literally flooded, probably to the point where he could use an assistant, just to manage his inbox, and the two primedice threads on this forum.   I was one of the people who didn't get paid, but was paid way after everyone else.   It took a good amount of time, but he finally got to me, and I am sure he will get to all of you too...

This is getting increasingly more and more frustrating.

A handful of users are still sending me PM's claiming they did not receive an August payment. What am I supposed to do with this information? You could PM me and provide your payout address, constructive posts made and all useful info to assist me in making a payment.

Also someone left me negative trust because they claimed payment 3-4 days late and then are upset that it has taken me a while to get back to them via PM when my inbox is flooded daily. Claim payment on time or please don't complain about getting it late. If I do not reply to your PM just keep resending it every 2 days and I will see/reply to it as soon as I see it.

Obviously I'm good for my word and have honored thousands of payments without issues, but please be more helpful when you are pming. I'm probably going to end this campaign after this term as dealing with this has become a full time headache.

Thanks

1650  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice Moderator Positions Open - Apply or Nominate! on: September 05, 2014, 03:40:35 PM
whats the point of a mod if we can just ignore people now

Moderator expectations I posted definitely go further than users ability to simply mute individuals themselves
1651  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice Moderator Positions Open - Apply or Nominate! on: September 05, 2014, 03:33:09 PM
If people can offer things that very very few can which will benefit PD a lot, Is there a possibility it can be a paid job?

Of course side agreements can be made Smiley

Stunna, we all already love the site and blow our life savings there.  No need to pump it up like it's a new site lol

Primedice makes NO profit off PvP at all actually...

It was just a very timely addition to the site which deserves more use Smiley

Do you know what's wrong? Are you being DDoS'd?

Past few days yes, right now no. That isn't 100% responsible for the issues though.

We just uploaded a change a minute ago, sockets now work 100%. We made a lot of changes the past 24 hours,  please refresh and if you are still unable to chat/see the bet stream let me know.

Refreshed, changed ips and browser yet still have issues man

EDIT: It started working yay!

Uploading a few changes, expect 5 minutes downtime. (If you have the page already loaded the site will remain up for you).
