2381  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★ Crypto-Games.net ★ 10 coins ★ Since 2014 ★ 7 games ★ Jackpot ★ Highest Faucet on: January 19, 2018, 08:38:26 PM
Have you considered removing the restriction on only one account per person?
I understand the purpose of a rule like this with traditional gambling sites
that verify the identity of their customers or sites that offer P2P games like Poker where someone
with multiple accounts would obviously have an advantage.

But Crypto-Games doesn´t really fit into either of these categories.
Given the recent posts in this thread it seems that this rule creates unnecessary problems
and confusion among users and potential users.

In my own case,I lost the password of the first one and can't even remember the user name. I have never played on that account either. The blocked one is the only account I have ever used on that site.

Just contact support if you have your account blocked because of that.
If you haven't abused anything (faucet, referrals, etc), there's a good chance they'll help you out.
2382  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency activities will be legal and tax free in Belarus on: January 19, 2018, 05:50:26 PM
More countries should follow suit with regulations like this, it can't get more permissive than this.
That said, I don't think Belarus is such a nice country to live, it's quite restrictive and basically a dictatorship.

Belarus?
Belarus?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_rights_in_Belarus

Belarus is probably the most fucked up place in Europe. Who can believe the people there could be free to use cryptos, when there is no freedom of the press, nor freedom of speech?

Yeah I was also wondering that, but the news seems to be true though.
2383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: LBRY Community is looking for translators in ANY language! on: January 18, 2018, 03:59:50 PM
I'd be willing to translate some stuff into Dutch.
Are there any rewards in the form of tokens for these translations or is it completely on voluntary basis?

That said, I really do like LBRY and have been running your app for a couple of weeks now Wink

I really feel that the lottery is getting to be a bit one sided with Dellwin buying up the max amount of tickets each time. (Already mentioned this in my previous reply to this topic)
Wouldn't it be a bit better if the maximum amount of tickets that could be purchased was a bit lower?

I miss the days with lower jackpots and I can't believe I'm saying this. I know that other people are also waiting for the lottery to return back to normal.
2385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Altcoins You Bought On This Dip on: January 18, 2018, 01:28:04 PM
Aside from more Bitcoin, I also bought a nice amount of Monero, Lisk and Litecoin.
I'm not planning on doing any day trading with it, just increasing my holdings slowly.

I might sell in a couple of years, but I'll hold onto them for a pretty long time first.
Also, it's definitely handy to have some litecoin, much cheaper to use that instead of Bitcoin due to the high transaction fees.
2386  Economy / Gambling / Re: Will be interesting for you? on: January 18, 2018, 11:59:09 AM
Maybe if you didn't present it in a low quality topic like this.
There are already tons of websites offering this and you give no additional information about the service you want to provide.

If this is any sort of indication of the amount of effort you're going to put into building a service like this, I'm not interested.
2387  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BC-Heater community on: January 17, 2018, 07:52:08 PM
This seems like a pretty cool concept for homes that are located in a colder climate. Does this project also have a website perhaps?
One thing I'm wondering too, how do you deal with the noise coming from those miners? The antminers for example are pretty loud, can't imagine anyone wanting that in their home...

Are you fully relying on outside investments or do you also have assets yourself?
2388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I got this idea about eSports and betting. Opinions? on: January 17, 2018, 07:09:19 PM
What kind of gamers are you looking to get to play against each other? Actual professional gamers or amateurs?
It'll be pretty difficult to find people who would be willing to play in what's basically a casino, I don't think it's a good idea to try and get people to come over to a physical place and have gamblers make bets on those matches.

I really doubt that the quality of those games would be enough and how would you even calculate the odds, if you're not working with professional teams? Or will you pay pro's to come and play there?

What are your thoughts about coming them over to a physical place?

Mostly amateurs that have good skills, that's why they're going to show off in online games first and go to the physical place later to play on LAN. The odds are going to be calculated with statistics from online matches. I guess there're going to be professional teams too if the payout is enough. If they can get 50-100$ a day each, it's not that bad for a gamer.

Well, you're going to have a very small pool of gamers that would be willing to play at your event. Their travel costs would probably be greater than what they would win.
Why is there even a need to do this at a physical location? Isn't it far easier to host online tournaments and have people place their bets online?

You've also got to think about all the costs for you, it'll be very expensive to get a location and all the other equipment.
2389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BitConnect a good investment? on: January 17, 2018, 03:41:25 PM
Anyone who didn't see this coming deserves to lose their investment in this scenario.
It's not like there weren't enough warnings and words of caution about BitConnect  Roll Eyes
2390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with altcoins on: January 17, 2018, 03:14:42 PM
Yeah i prefer to use those casinos who are accepting altcoins at the moment, it is much more easier to use them since you do no need to deposit huge amounts of money with bitcoin and having them reduced because of the fees.

Yup and there's nothing Bitcoin does that altcoins can't either. The only thing is it's easier to sell Bitcoin, but altcoins are easy enough to sell to and much faster to send and receive.

Hope we get some improvements with Bitcoin soon because it's slowly dying as more and more coins take from it's market share by the day.

Even if it's easier to sell Bitcoin than it is to sell altcoins, that usually doesn't matter if you're using an exchange that also offers altcoin trading.
You're not going to lose much on fees if you can just sell your altcoins for Bitcoins on one exchange that also does fiat withdraws.

I wouldn't go as far to say that Bitcoin is dying, it's still by far the most popular coin. Altcoins might have the same problems with scalability, but they just don't have the amount of transactions as the Bitcoin network has.
2391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler's mindset! on: January 17, 2018, 12:16:26 PM
I have tried to think what goes through my mind when ever I am trying to place a bet. I think something strange do happen to me and that is I always have this thinking that what if I lose, how am I going to feel! I have never want to lose in my mind I want to win always but I think this is impossible. Gamblers here did you always want to win all your bet? If you win all how will the gambling company makes profits?

What's the point of this topic? Everybody gambles because they want to win, people don't typically make a deposit and think 'Oh, I hope that I'll lose all my money today'.

Your last question is even sillier... How does a casino make profit? Ever heard about house edge? Over the long term the casino will make a profit, unless they have terrible bankroll management and a gambler wins really big due to variance.
2392  Economy / Services / Re: ASIC miner colocation Belgium kW-month pricing on: January 16, 2018, 11:30:23 PM
The name Fusa sounded so familiar, couldn't really put my finger on it where I saw it before, then it hit me... You guys hosted CasteQuest 2's servers, right?
Indeed, that was a long time ago! really enjoyed providing sponsored hosting for CQ2!
Yeah, that's going back more than 10 years at least Wink Glad I remembered correctly.

I'm not looking to collocate a miner just yet, but I'll pass this info along to anyone in my personal circle who might be interested.
Your prices are definitely cheaper than what you'd pay if you ran a miner at home, electricity is pretty expensive here.
Thank you, indeed power rates in Belgium are high, we tried to set al low contract-less pricing with everything included.
Cooling could be an issue at home and the wife could also be an issue Wink
That kind of service is definitely worth its price, keeping the wife happy is invaluable anyways... I'll leave you a positive trust rating since I'm 100% sure that you're a trustworthy company and I know you've been in the hosting business for a long time Wink

I remember seeing that name on the bottom of each page when I used to log in at CQ2.

2394  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Browser games like ogame and cryptos on: January 16, 2018, 12:21:23 PM
I've played quite a bit of Ogame a few years ago and also CastleQuest 2, if someone remembers that? Wink
While I'd personally love to see a game like that incorporate Bitcoin or crypto in general, I don't think it will ever become popular again like it used to be.

These games are dying and I really doubt that many people would join a new game like that. It'll probably be a niche, not that that's bad or anything, I'd love to see it being built.

2396  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: USB Wallet Help... on: January 16, 2018, 11:28:55 AM
I personally use a 64Gb usb drive and install every wallet on it so I can just use them on any device.
On my main computer I'm also using Exodus, which is a desktop wallet that supports multiple altcoins as well.

A hardware wallet is probably better, but this setup works for me.
2397  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Qoinpro scam help on: January 15, 2018, 10:25:46 PM
If you withdrew 0.7 BTC two months ago, never received the coins and sent them literally thousands of emails which they ignored, there is a fairly good chance they never processed the withdrawal request. In other words, they stole your coins. Legitimate exchanges will respond to your emails and provide support services. Only thieves ignore emails from people they stole from. Makes sense?

What would be nice though, to really make your accusation believable, is for you to provide solid proof or evidence of the scam. Screen shots of the withdrawal showing the address you withdrew the coins to and the amount withdrawn, that same BTC address showing nothing arrived, support tickets you opened, etc.

If this scam accusation is true, then you have this community’s thanks for helping others avoid losses too. Best to avoid any engagement with or exposure to this exchange until your accusation is resolved. 0.7 BTC is a serious loss.

Qoinpro isn't an exchange, it's a faucet. Isn't too surprising that they're not paying 0.7 BTC if OP really made that much.

OP, how did you even get 0.7 BTC on Qoinpro? You must have thousands of referrals if you have that much earnings...
You also know that this is basically a pyramid scheme right?
2398  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Warning] LTC Withdrawals Stuck - CoinExchange.io A Scam? on: January 15, 2018, 10:13:28 PM
I've seen reports of people getting their transactions through after a while, but others are still waiting.
Don't bombard their support with multiple tickets, re-check your spam folder in case the confirmation mail went there. Not much else you can really do, except not keep your coins on an exchange, but hindsight 20/20, right?

Next time, post this in the Scam Accusations section:

2399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC + all your official papers being stolen and traded on: January 15, 2018, 08:25:44 PM
I think you make a very good point, but it's really impossible to prevent if you want to get verified at the best exchanges.
Decentralized exchanges could be a possible solution to this in the future, but they need to improve first before they are ready for the general public.

I do hope that the biggest exchanges handle your data safely.

2400  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Storing Cryptocurrencies on Exchanges on: January 15, 2018, 04:16:02 PM
If you're planning on holding certain altcoins for a longer period of time, it's advised to keep them in a secure desktop or hardware wallet.
You're always running the risk that the exchange gets hacked or that they'll disappear with your coins.

If you're actively trading with them, it's probably cheaper (in fees) to keep them stored at the exchange though.
