Hey tokes, looks like you just need Welbeck now to get a freebet Wink

I also had Kane and Salah (easiest picks to make for those teams) but I went a tad bit smart with Jesus and Solanke, though to be fair, I'd have switch to safer picks like you Rashford and Kai Havertz, and still failed.

Pity we had a goalfest from Fulham/Leicester today even Maddison hit. But I'm only at 3/7 so no joy.

@Juggy777 see? You said goals would dry up and I said they'd just keep coming. Who in their right mind says Fulham score 5 huh?
2382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 08, 2023, 01:59:35 PM
Newcastle 0-2 Arsenal
West Ham 1-0 Man Utd

Well this worked out well Wink

Top 4 we are coming (maybe).

Yeah, and just like that the 2-game cushions are gone, so now we have to fight back for the gap haha.

Reality check says we still will get Europa spot at best, and in a way, we'll probably just miss out Top 4 on a point or two, and that would be heartbreaking after such an effort.

Still, I watched United game with more excitement than I have any game in recent weeks. Thank you De Gea Wink They probably should have lost 2-0 too, Lindelof no-VAR-review penalty =D

Tonight, rooting for Everton, but sort of need Brighton to be on a hot streak too cause we need them to beat Newcastle heh. They've got the toughest run in, but I wouldn't put it past them to navigate Newcastle, City and Arsenal!

^ Phew. Yeah. Thought it was all over really once Max started on 9th but I suppose you can't put away a good engine/driver combination for too long.

As expected (or as I did anyway), Leclerc didn't have staying power (or Ferrari doesn't I suppose) but he still made points. My last-minute decision to put Tsunoda back in 10th backfired, had I kept in Leclerc instead, probably at least another point to get 16.

Well done to the leaders, pays to pick the favourites most of the time, hm?

Hey guys, just a friendly reminder to add your BTC addresses into this spreadsheet (add it as a comment as shown in image below). Only KTChampions has added his address. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1vrzw33PXrTcGv3wHLbMPnCbL8iauGsfeUzWfGmw7FmQ/edit#gid=0

Also, just to alert you, Bitcoin network is currently congested. Something I did not foresee. Currently, because there are many inputs and there will be 10-11 outputs in the prize payment, estimated fees as of today for next-block confirmation is 23 mbtc -- that's around $650 in fees!

Don't worry about it, of course, I will still ensure it is paid out. I might be forced to pay slightly lower fees to not hurt Betnomi/myself too much, but this might cause a delay. Everything will be clearer after the final on 10th June when points are finalised. Hopefully by then, things get better, though it's really hard to predict. When NFT fever first happened on Ethereum, congestion took months to clear.

I hope everyone can understand it's a situation that's suddenly appeared -- feel free to PM for clarification. In hindsight, I probably should have consolidated all our payments, but who knew Ordinals and BRC-20 would suddenly become hot in May?

Oh and @Distraction, don't be too discouraged. I was bottom in EPL for the longest time (still close to bottom actually) and that's supposed to be the league I'm most familiar with. Luck? Haha

As we all knew along, Marseille et cetera simply unavailable to take any opportunity thrown their way. Still picked Monaco on a ticket today so am somewhat bemused they won...

Leaders can probably afford to lose every game left and still win, so Troyes is almost a bet I can't ignore right?

On a not-so-important note, still hoping the Milanos pip Juve to UCL!

in a north/south derbies, Milano 2 - Rome 0, since both teams from Milano got their wins against Rome counterparties, TBH expected different outcomes, especially with Lazio, but Milan and Inter didn't think about CL matches that come ahead and deserved wins during game week

last match seeing Spezia heading for another loss, and letting Verona in for the battle, in last 15 matches in Serie A, Spezia has only one win, and it is over Inter at home, remarkable

Yeah, I thought betting against them was a good strategy but lately I think since their semifinal berths were secured, they found a way to win again, made the right picks but both far off from the results (3-2 was my prediction for both but went far away).

Atalanta-Juve a bit disappointing for me. Home team showered Old Lady with 16 attempts but couldn't score, and fell victim to Juve's traditional winning scoreline and even gifted them a last one from a counter. Any other outcome would have made my day but still plenty to watch.
2387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏁🏎️ Sportsbet.io🏁 FORMULA 1 2023 Season🏁🏎️Prediction Pool Discussion Thread on: May 07, 2023, 12:14:04 PM
With the morale of Perez's winning the latest race I think he can win the pole position as well. However I'm also aware that this is a very far possibility.  Smiley

Well done on the win! If I'd known the odds were that high, I'd have thought it a very fair value bet as well, the RB duo are competitive and we know they'll put the team first, but there's enough of a superiority now to guarantee some rivalry for wins.

@Spack17 yeah thanks for that explanation and calendar, what I don't like is official sources are so hard to navigate and so damned slow to update haha.
2388  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Main sponsor of Southampton FC 👋👋 on: May 07, 2023, 10:58:49 AM
Total domination and easy win for Man City, they even missed one penalty in second half, now pressure is on Arsenal to win against Newcastle.
What are your predictions for tomorrow?

Check out the specials for Arsenal: https://sportsbet.io/sports/sportsbet-specials/daily-specials/chtv/matches

They pretty much sum up every which way I'd take an Arsenal win (which is my main prediction). ML alone is value, 3/1 with a boost so I'd stick with that, really.

But the specials also look good, BTTS and 10 corners seems the safest, but I'll sit on my Gunners win.
2389  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Mempool under a DOS attack? on: May 07, 2023, 10:26:01 AM
Just not sure why anyone wondering about mempool and uses Google doesn't find out what's behind it all heh.

It's the latest fad, we all gotta bear it, unfortunately.

I think it's because of BRC-20 that was created on the bitcoin blockchain
That's not true. BRC-20 doesn't exist on the Bitcoin blockchain. All it does on-chain is create dust spam, and someone else says it's worth something. It's basically the next step after anything from ICOs and Forks to DeFi and NFTs: how to use gullible people's greed to get them to hand over their money.
I can already tell you many people are going to lose their money, and a few people will get very rich. Until it busts, after which they'll make up the next pump and dump scheme.

A handful of people think it's worth something, indeed. And it doesn't even matter how the tech works, doesn't matter people are attaching arbitrary value to perceived rarity, people recognise it's a ponzi and they're jumping on it.

Just like all other ponzis, the early entrants are making money, and that's what's fueling newer entrants.

Actually surprised it took so long for these schemes to latch on to Bitcoin.

Missed your bet, morvillz7z but I think the party will last long anyway, and that's still something big however you see it. Liverpool also waited 30 years, unfortunate it was Covid to keep everyone home but I think Naples parties long and hard. Well deserved.

Does seem like we can't spam them for bets anymore though.

Also, I don't think we see the same team march out next season, shame, but I hope I'm wrong.

On a not-so-important note, still hoping the Milanos pip Juve to UCL!

I know absolutely nothing about Darts, Golf, Table Tennis or Sepaktakraw but if there is a big tournament we will maybe hit you a question from sport like that just to make you all broaden your horizons a bit  Grin Us included.

Am I the only one here who don't know what Sepaktakraw is? I have never heard of that game. I guess it's not that popular in Europe. I guess it's like handball - in some parts of the world no one had heard about handbal l while in Europe it's pretty popular sport. I have nothing against those kind of games include in the questions. It's always fun to learn about other sports so please give us questions about little known sports.

I think the English speaking world calls it "Kick Volleyball" which is of course completely inaccurate Wink

It's a huge sport in Southeast Asia where I come from, it's how I got my first shoulder injury as a kid, which led to a major shoulder injury in football that continues to haunt me today haha.

It's the most athletic plus body-eye-coordination sport I know in the world (entire body, head, to torso, to feet is used)... should check out some vids.

Personally, I feel you guys can take it easy with spreadsheet update. I'm willing to wait all week to see final results anyway, I check it myself from time to time just against my opponent. You guys got a life too!
It is much more engaging if you have the results as soon as possible. Same goes for prizes, I know I hate it when I win some pool and then have to wait 2 weeks to get the prize. Everything I am running and that includes all the stuff I am running with cryptofrka gets the payment as soon as possible. Don't know if you noticed yet but our Livecasino campaign now has payments half an hour after campaign cutoff time. Tell me if anybody else has a service like that Smiley

We are living in a fast world and everybody need to get the info and money as fast as possible. Due to nature of this competition we will always leave a small delay to account for possible mistakes but other than that expect to get your deserved prices promptly and results by the end of each day.

Man, yeah, I'm already thinking this month I have to make allowances for a pool payout. Bitcoin fees are way more than I thought a year ago, and most likely there will be members who aren't responding, so making a single payout batch transaction is Plan A that won't happen. Makes me already plan for Plan B and C etc. Don't need to imagine how you probably are also personally messaging members who are AWOL.

Personally am actually surprised no members in BSFL have disappeared (to me memory anyway).

For sure I noticed campaign payments are fast! Calculated fast, paid out fast, that service does not go unnoticed Wink

City ahead, switched off as Leeds look horrible. Then find out Chelsea's let slip of their lead.

Kept to the script so far, hm?

They gave us better than a draw last night, they won it at the death (and even our transfer department got a wake up call now that James Milner is signing for them - will make for a very interesting summer). Smiley

Side note, does anyone else feel that there's a ridiculous number of games most clubs are playing this week? Most clubs are doing 2 or even 3 games in a particular week, and I'm certainly seeing the toll that's taking in terms of trips to the treatment table.

Goes on to demonstrate that the World Cup should never have been started mid-season.

Yeah I saw that too! Going to miss Millie, find it weird they went for him, but any club will benefit from Milner at least in the training ground. Few people come in to kill a game as well as he, rumour has it he still is the fittest in our squad over long distance...

Did notice the games, but isn't that always normal at some point in the season? La Liga seems to be the one taking a whole week off.
2393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 06, 2023, 12:17:36 PM
Don't forget, even if all these scenarios happen AND we win all our games... Brighton win all their games and we're also screwed. And that's possible too!

They all look ready to drop points but we're too far behind to take advantage of it and too erratic with our performances to even believe that we'll win all remaining games.

The frustrating thing is that we'll be really close to securing it - but EL now looks likely which would still be considered 'decent' in comparison to Conference league.

Yeah, I mentioned earlier I actually accepted Liverpool won't be in UCL many games ago, but betting wise, I'm just on autopilot with trying to squeeze out as much value as possible from the chances of Newcastle/United/Brighton slipping up.

At least if we get Europa we'll be meeting Ajax + Juventus, haha.

On my way to Anfield in 1 hour. It’ll be my first game since December due to other commitments. Looking forward to it, I have chose a good time to return as we are in better form. I’m expecting a win, hopefully a comfortable one.

Would be good if Man Utd & Newcastle drop points.

Man, have a blast, and fill out some photos too if you can. I'm actually 50% chance of going to Liverpool but NOT for the Villa game, a week before, sort of promised a kid but am hoping it doesn't actually work out hahaha (it's the dreaded song competition).

Have to admit am a bit confused here, we had a Friday pole decider last race, but today it's back to normal Saturday right? Ferrari seems a bit happy even if Leclerc ended FP2 early, as the car appears to be all right. He's not even on my podium though, suspect he ends the race with incident.

Russell will be upset he didn't retain his FP1 performance but I guess I should be happy I stuck with Verstappen in pole... and guess who but Tsunoda back in my finishing at #10. Will need Ocon or someone else to crash out though heh.

Hot and heavy weekend of football, not the most exciting for most people but with some things still to play for, some games are interesting, namely Leeds to stave off relegation and Osasuna to take home something for this season.

It's a simple double underdog day for me tomorrow, both at Sportsbet, you'll get magnificent boosts. 100 units each:

Leeds to WIN vs City @16.95. Other odds: 16.20. Bet ID: 64516ac21e4b050001da28e6
Osasuna to WIN vs Real @10.90. Other odds: 10.15. Bet ID: 6452beed1e4b050001a313cd
Total units advantage: 150

Running advantage after 57 bets: +5275 (+150)
All-time cumulative: +88,355
Running units after 55 bets (8W|47L): +1928 (-100)
2396  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Main sponsor of Southampton FC 👋👋 on: May 05, 2023, 03:56:54 PM
While we're at it, Leeds to beat City on the weekend too?
This is nearly impossible to happen in Etihad Stadium but Leeds does have big motivation to avoid relegation zone.

Yeah, it's a pipe dream. Brentford did it not too long ago, but City against Leeds is a goalfest waiting to happen. An early goal is what I'm hoping for and then hope Leeds actually try and defend that? City does seem to have problems when their midfield is choked, but who am I kidding right?

Doesn't mean I'm not betting against them though Wink

H2H matches are heavily on Arsenal side but from last two matches Newcastle has more points:

Definitely need Arsenal to get this win (for selfish Liverpool reasons), I might actually plop a sum on them too. Should be a tight game under 2.5 goals, but ML is the way to go here.
2397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 5000+$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: May 05, 2023, 02:27:42 PM
Yep, Tsitsipas lost me a point as well. The problem is that if you look at the draw, there's no one else to trust.

I think I'll lose a point in my F1 question so I need to get an advantage from somewhere. Funnily enough, I think I might get it from DOTA Grin

Tsitsi really killed it for those who actually paid attention in the draw huh.

I know I always say he's gonna let you down, but seriously, there was no one left to stand in his way until Alcaraz. At this point, better to just put money on Coric or Karatsev the way the last ATPs have been going.

Personally, I feel you guys can take it easy with spreadsheet update. I'm willing to wait all week to see final results anyway, I check it myself from time to time just against my opponent. You guys got a life too!

Wait... I just checked the Madrid tournament and I see that Struff is not out of the tournament. He is playing against Karatsev in the semi-final. How come that hakan2217's answer is red when he answered Alcaraz, Struff - Alcaraz? Is it because he was late to send his answers? I know that famososMuertos was late and hakan2217 is below him in the spreadsheet so I guess he sent his answers after famososMuertos.

Never heard of the guy till this happened too, Lucky Loser odds to win it all? Wink
2398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 05, 2023, 12:11:53 PM
@LFC_Bitcoin @cryptofrka

If United had lost their recent game against Villa and Newcastle to Spurs, that would have given me good cause for hope. Still -- I can smell United dropping 2 games as they seem dire away. And Chelski? Heh. Toons actually have the tougher fixtures -- if they actually lose to Brighton, Chelski and Arsenal, wow.

Problem is, the stars all have to align, and we do need to win 2 tricky away games, relegation strugglers are so dangerous. Then we also have a very good Villa team to beat...

Don't forget, even if all these scenarios happen AND we win all our games... Brighton win all their games and we're also screwed. And that's possible too!
2399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 5000+$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: May 04, 2023, 09:52:20 PM
jeremypwr, looks like United made the day even for ya, was an easy below 2.5 goals, even the penalty seemed a bit harsh, even though it's made me a happy camper for the moment. Already 3-1 and I can't bear to see how many answers left we have different, I'm not surprised if it's another early concession for me. GG so far my man!

Now Tsitsipas is out of the tournament so no one got the tennis question right.

The bad thing about this question is that it does not add 1 point for each correct player who goes to the final

This one's a H2H question, though, so I think each correct player gets a point... I'm same answer as my opponent so it never mattered. Remember, never trust Tsitsi.
2400  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Leverage Liquidity Map: Shorts dominating leverage trading on: May 04, 2023, 04:53:09 PM
Yeah the 200 is really the only one left I pay attention to. People are still bearish even now, so yeah, 20k especially sub -- and it won't matter if it happens sooner or later, but this year -- will break a lot of resolve.

Well I guess it turned out $20K was the great buying opportunity all along, as a classic re-test of 200 Day MA after golden cross  Smiley

As for the liquidity map, since this topic was recently bumped, there's a clear gap up to $31K (as this is where price recently reached). Otherwise to the downside there is an increase in liquidity from around $23K with not a lot aorund $25K. Many people still expect $25K, even $26K, to act as support if price corrects to the downside. But personally, based on liquidity and trading volume, I find $23K more likely.

So it turned out to be so indeed. Don't think we're quite so ready to wave farewell to that border, even if the hubbub on the news circles is that we're seeing the peak of USD interest and that means no further pressure -- but if we do revisit it will be short, followed by a beautiful bounce back to levels now.

Still decent buying levels now even with 23k support (which means today's price is "only" a 20+% premium)...
