241  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you do better than the youtubers when value is going down? Or what..?=?? on: February 28, 2024, 11:22:59 PM
There's a lot of youtubers constantly predicting high gains by constantly predicting new hights, but when Bitcoin is down it seems to be a lot harder than when going rapidly up, right?
Because they want to lure people especially new people to gain referrals and views.
For me, there's nothing wrong with being a youtube but the only wrong they are doing is some of them are advertising projects and some of them are scam projects.
And another thing is they are giving hopium to some people just to gain more views.
242  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Crpto Fee Estimation Platform on: February 28, 2024, 11:11:10 PM
Thanks, everyone. I tested all of your suggestions

https://gasfeesnow.com/ - only shows the amount of the fee in USD.

https://withdrawalfees.com/coins - Only shows the amount of the fee in USD.

https://blockchair.com/compare - looks fine to me, it shows me the suggested satoshi per byte for the transaction.

Among the list, blockchair is the one that is most useful for me. But I am still looking for other that can be more useful.

243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many times we will make the same mistake? - History repeats Again & Again! on: February 28, 2024, 11:01:16 PM
I am not sure if I will also be around after a decade but it is said that time is likely the safest speculation that Bitcoin will hit a million dollars.

But we do not know how this cycles that keep on changing every time we are on it. It might be quicker for the next few years and cycles to come and we might get too close to it.

I'll hold but I won't miss to sell because that's how it should go and we have to enjoy taking profits.
You still can't guarantee it because we already experienced it, before no one is expecting that the current Bitcoin price we have right now is what we will experience.
Bitcoin is unexpected so we must be always prepared.
We need to consider a lot of things now especially since we already have a lot of volume, a lot of people already know Bitcoin, etc.
244  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Bull has Started But Not Yet ATH. on: February 27, 2024, 03:35:29 AM
well we got to 57k  now 56.2k both are nice numbers.  Still not there for miners but close.

If we were at 72k at this moment miners would be tripping. And so would normal investors of btc.

That would be full on bull number.

We are close.
Like clockwork!
Yesterday I saw a thread about talking to Bitcoin about whether Bitcoin may reach $60,000 before the end of this month. And look we have a few hours left and we experienced this huge pump.
So for me, this $60,000 is easy once Bitcoin will rage.
245  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Similar but not same 🤔 on: February 27, 2024, 03:33:57 AM
(...)
The same principles that work on the forex market work on this one, it is just that you will need to make some adjustments here and there in order to make it work, for example think about a tailor trying to make a shirt and a pair of pants, while the end result may look completely different, the techniques used to create those two pieces of clothing are the same.

Then even if there could be some differences, at the end both markets can be traded using the same techniques, so if you already know how to trade stocks or other markets, you should do well soon enough when trading bitcoin or other coins.
The OP must not forget the volatility. We all know volatility in cryptocurrency is very high, for sure you will be surprised.
So for me, other things like fundamental and technical analysis could be the same. The patterns, the charts, are almost the same also.
246  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Technical Analysis Really Work? on: February 27, 2024, 03:31:56 AM
(....)
I think if a training is 100% for learning, 1% of it is technical analysis and the rest 99% is psychological games..Because I have been learning and trading technical analysis for a long time but mostly I lose. I am still learning after that. I've noticed lately that big investors can handle trading as they please. Because they have a lot of funds, if they take a small amount, they take big trades and destroy it. In which case technical analysis is not enough. And I think psychological analysis plays a big role along with technical analysis.
For me, if you want to become a profitable trader, technical analysis is your friend. Because if you say psychological games then means you are gambling, its more likely you are relying on luck.
Maybe if something is wrong with your technical analysis, then you are doing it wrong, try to learn more and identify the problems you encountered, because for me  it's difficult to master technical analysis.
247  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Isn't trading almost like gambling? on: February 27, 2024, 03:29:05 AM
(...)
Some gambling games also require skills more than luck. But since the casino has always an edge over its players  and the casino house should always be on the winning side, the chances to gain profits is still low. Although some are winning exceptional amount of profits, but eventually when the gamblers stay betting, the casino will also get it back gradually until those profits have turned into zero.

However, in trading, skills and right strategies will always dominate a positive outcome. If you are a well-experienced and an expert trader, the chances to stay profitable is certainly high, but also since the trading market is quite uncertain and you have no idea how the prices of those coins move in the market, at least you still need quite of luck to stay successful on your trades.
This means, in trading, you can be a successful trader and profitable than become a gambler where most of the time you are relying on the luck here.
For me, with proper education, you can't say trading is gambling. Because if you learn everything  that will help you to become good trader like risk management, technical analysis and fundamental analysis, you have high chance to become profitable.
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the reason behind surge in price of verge ? on: February 27, 2024, 03:26:10 AM
This kind of cryptocurrency for me is already dead.
You can see this is a common event for dead coins, where by surprise they pump and after that, they will dump again.

For me, what I can see is "manipulation" someone is manipulating it so they can make money out of it.
249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Previous ATH achieve before bull? on: February 27, 2024, 03:22:13 AM
(...)
I think that the idea of halving and bull run is largely associated to bitcoin, but it seems that altcoins are also enjoying from these things. There's no how bitcoin will move and leave altcoins behind.
For the question of bull and ATH, it has always been that halving brings in bull run which achieves a new ATH. But this time around, things could change because there are some notable changes in the fundamentals of cryptocurrency such as the ETF approval. That is a big wind no matter how we tend to see it.
If we talk about halving here, then we must first base on Bitcoin.
We first base to Bitcoin since halving is only for Bitcoin. To answer the question: most of the Bitcoin block halvings, like before. We always see high price action of Bitcoin, we can't say they are all all-time highs but the price always pumping before block halving of Bitcoin.
Then most altcoins follow Bitcoin after Bitcoin pumps.
250  Economy / Service Discussion / Crpto Fee Estimation Platform on: February 27, 2024, 03:13:43 AM
Hi again everyone.

Is there any platform where you can see the details about transaction fees for every network?
For example, if I need Dogecoin network, I want to see how many Satoshi/Byte, how much in USD the fee I will do the transaction - Where I can see the suggested, slow, or fast transaction

I highly appreciate that there's only 1 platform where you can see all of the networks in 1 place and they are updated.
Right now I need these networks: Bitcoin, Ethereum,  Dogecoin, Litecoin, BNB, Tron.

Thanks!
251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My rewards for hodling despites the challenges. on: February 27, 2024, 02:42:50 AM
Many moons and cycles ago I told my wife that we should skip the wedding and get married at city hall and spend the wedding money on Bitcoin instead. She did not go for it!
I could have had 100 more BTC!
I still have my wife and now two kiddos, so maybe it was still worth it 😂
Lol  Cheesy
No one knows what will happen to Bitcoin in the future, that's why it's still a risk and not guaranteed.

For OP, I understand what OP means, OP took a risk.

About OP wanting to convert it to their own currency, it's kinda huge loss if OP does that. I think Binance P2P got a high spread from their own currency which maybe there is only a few people who do P2P trading there. Another option for OP is convert it to USD then send it on some platform that got good exchange rate from USD to their own currency.
252  Economy / Speculation / Re: A new ATH before halving. Is it possible? on: February 26, 2024, 02:11:20 AM
A new ATH from this position is very much on the cards. Institutional demand is increasing, and the recent rally is proof. The possibility of BTC touching $69k can not be ruled out. If the current trends continue, the chances of reaching ATH are high. The global economic recession might become a limiting factor.
(....)
In my opinion, a new ATH is more likely to be achieved after the halving. We know it's hard to predict exactly when, but we have 15 to 18 months after the halving to see something big called a bull cycle.
For me, it was before the Bitcoin block halved.
Well, we have different opinions, but if you check the previous Bitcoin block halvings, you will see how the price actions of Bitcoins performed well BEFORE Bitcoin block halvings. So for me, new all-time high before Bitcoin block halving is my target.
253  Economy / Speculation / Re: 60k possible before end of this month? on: February 26, 2024, 02:08:30 AM
it's still difficult to break 60k dollars for this month.
(....)
We still have a few days left before the month ends, so for me, this $60,000 is still possible because as we all know, the monthly closing candle is also significant where we will see high volatility every start/end of the month.

Just incase we will ever not see $60,000 it's fine, as long as we maintain the good price action, we will get there.
254  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What traders must know on: February 26, 2024, 01:59:35 AM
there are skills traders needs to acquire in other to be successful in the crypto market, and I will be talking about them, which are;
(...)
I don't see the risk management from the list.
For me, having risk management is one of the most important when you do trading. Having risk management will help you to manage your capital, and will help you to maximize your profits while minimizing your losses.

And also the capital preservation because the more you stay longer in the market, the more trades you can do then the more profits you can generate.
255  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop Loss and Trailing Stop Loss in Spot Trading on: February 26, 2024, 01:45:15 AM
Another alternative for OP is to use futures trading and use 1x leverage where it will look like a spot but not good I believe because the fee is higher when you do this and much better to use the spot market.
Because the case of OP is very common for futures market where you can set immediately stop losses upon opening a trade.
256  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you feel about high-profile traders making wrong calls ? on: February 26, 2024, 01:41:31 AM
I'll give you two examples: Garreth Soloway ( featured in Kitco a few times ) and Davinci ( early Bitcoin adopter )
They both shorted Bitcoin at 50K - 49K. And quite likely they're both getting liquidated soon.
To me it simply goes to show anyone can be wrong, and you shouldn't be certain of anything short term.
It just means that trading is not 100% guaranteed. Even profitable or successful traders make mistakes sometimes.

That's why there is risk management, where it will help you to manage your risk explore and manage your losing trades.
Stop loss is a big help just in case our trade will go to opposite side.
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - Do I need to diversify? on: February 26, 2024, 01:17:59 AM
Where does everyone think XRP will end up this bullrun?

Ripple (XRP) is still -84.0% from its all-time high. While Bitcoin is already -25.2% and Ethereum is already -36.1%.

That's more than doubled from these top market cap cryptocurrencies while Ripple (XRP) is still far away. So for me, I believe this bull run, Ripple (XRP) will left behind by a high percentage. Because if it really recovers, then it could've joined to other top altcoins recovered.
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is not the future, it is the present on: February 25, 2024, 02:17:44 AM
We are now in the middle of the crypto Era. Before 2017 it was beginning of crypto Era and the crypto revolution attract the attention of investors, traders and many other from all over the world.
(....)
Then it means we are still early in the cryptocurrency market.
Having enough knowledge and well-informed in cryptocurrency right now will help the community to grow by sharing our knowledge to others and create the future using our present knowledges.
259  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is sharing insights the key to better trading? on: February 25, 2024, 02:15:47 AM
For me yes because by that you will know new and learn something new.
It will help you to get more knowledge. Continous learning and skill enhancement also.

Another thing is networking and collaboration where you can able to build your connections with other traders as there are multiple people who can share their insights too and knowledge.
260  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What can I do to be successful in trading with my small capital on: February 25, 2024, 02:12:42 AM
do i need to an expert in trading before someone will be successful.
For me, no. Some traders in cryptocurrency started from nothing. Zero to hero.
Some also started only to learn by themself on the internet, just like me.

Overall, the first is to educate yourself, start small, it's fine, and have effective capital management.
