1241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which one is important? Knowledge or Experience? Or both in Bitcoin Learning! on: April 23, 2023, 11:37:52 PM
So in conclusion, if you are new and want to learn something about Bitcoin, ask the guy who has a lot of experience. Then it becomes knowledge to yourself. Then applying that knowledge and going through some trials and errors, you can gain the same experience. It is important to learn them both in my opinion. But you need to follow the path of what to do when. That way, I am sure success is guaranteed.
I agree with this, I already experienced this before especially when I started to learn Bitcoin.
I tend to ask questions to people who got more experience because I believe as they stay longer in a thing, they more familiarize it and master it, so it means they are good on what they are doing as they know what they are doing.
1242  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: IS IT SAFE TO INVEST PENSION FUNDS IN BITCOIN? on: April 23, 2023, 11:33:14 PM
(....)
However, my findings from people that work in these organizations say contributor's funds in some categories can be invested in risky investments because of the high return on investment and contributors have the option to opt for this option but with the exception of the soon-to-retiree.
If that pension fund is the only one you are relying on example, you don't have any more extra money. Then I can say, it's not safe to use that for investment in Bitcoin (even non-Bitcoin). In investing, you should be aware and always put in your mind that investment is a risk, you can't guarantee profits once you invest because no one will know what will be the future of every market.
There are a lot of people crying or disappointed because they lost money that they can't afford to lose.
1243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Keep hodling your Bitcoin on: April 23, 2023, 11:29:40 PM
(......)
Therefore I want to urge all my fellow bitcointalkers to not lose interest in holding because of these little drops in price  keep holding your Bitcoin .It will definitely boom soon
This is extremely difficult to do, as a lot of people especially these new people who are coming into the Bitcoin market, their emotions sometimes are sensitive or difficult to manage.
Most newbies can relate to this. But if you just manage and train your emotion, you will become stronger and I agree with you OP, holding is better sometimes and it's already proven over time.
But for some people who have goal just to make profits, hodling is not form them as they tend to sell once they already met their price target or goal.
1244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe I should wait before owning my bitcoin on: April 23, 2023, 11:26:15 PM
(.....)
I will let this be my guide, will wait till the Buy has the highest vote. Money investment need to be carefully planned. This is just my plan, you can advice or give it kudos.
What vote do you mean? Do you want other people to decide when you will buy/sell Bitcoin? I don't think that is a good way to own Bitcoin or to do investments.
I think what you mean is the Bitcoin fear and greed indicator, just like what is on the image you shared. Which if you are using that as indicator, it's kinda good, just make sure the lower value of that, means a lot of pressure from seller and more or less the price is dumping.
1245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: New L1 and L2 chains launching in 2023 on: April 23, 2023, 11:17:37 PM
(....)
So Defi is definitely the future and hence why these chains are being developed. The issue is that they are rushed and have lots of bugs. Even a few days ago Sushi swap had a bug and over $3M was stolen. And it will get worse with these new chains and smart contracts if they are all badly coded and rushed for launched.
This will be improved overtime, I believe. This is a better problem than having problems like CEX.

As you noticed, with the birth of a lot of layer-2 networks and/or layer-1, there are already a lot of people trading on-chain, even the futures market, they already started to like trading on-chain, which for me is extremely better.
The only bad side is if you are just a small trader with small capital, sometimes you will just eat by transaction fees on these chains.
1246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SUI TOKEN PRICE SPECULATION on: April 23, 2023, 11:14:11 PM
Token sale during a bear market is extremely bad, with Sui Network I believe it will not be a good start for them after the sale.
And there was also issue from them about a lot of people expecting airdrop, we still don't know if it will happen as they already conducted their token sale.
1247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you want bitcoin to stay? on: April 21, 2023, 01:33:53 AM
(.....)
What is your reason why bitcoin should stay in the next 100 years! when the government are worried about it?
Maybe our opinions about bitcoin can give hedge to the government.
Remember that Bitcoin is still a relatively young and unstable asset and that its future is uncertain.
Government restrictions and regulations may affect the currency's adoption and value, these some governments are just protecting its people but sometimes I'm against with them especially when it's about Bitcoin.
1248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICP - Good investment? on: April 21, 2023, 01:25:37 AM

From 3 digits to 1 digit.
Since the all-time high of this altcoin, it was already dropped almost 90% from its all-time high.
I remember this before, pure hype, a lot of people talking about this and on the other side, there are a lot of people bashing this altcoin.
The risk:reward ratio of this altcoin is good if you want to make profits.
1249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your take on the "seasons" topic? on: April 21, 2023, 01:15:27 AM
One rather overused term in crypto are "seasons". I admit getting sometimes a bit lost whether we have now "altcoin season", "memecoin season" or whatever else. There are also people who have theories about which season follows which. Was wondering - is their anything more than anecdotal evidence for the existence and order of said "seasons"?
(....)
When altcoin comes back then altcoin season and when bitcoin pumped it will be its season.
For me, this is very common especially with now a lot of social media platforms where people can interact and these people will start to make new trends based on what is really trending right then that will birth a lot of content like jokes, memes, theories, and many more.
Let's take for example the bear season and bull season, which there's no official basis of these seasons.
1250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does It takes time for market to be bull on: April 21, 2023, 01:04:45 AM
I have been wondering why does it take so much time for bitcoin price to bull and whenever it try's coming up it takes just some few hours or days to drop drastically or changes in percentage.
(...)
That's how the market behaves, it will not always "UP ONLY" even if you take a look at other markets (non-bitcoin market), there will be always different seasons, bull season, and bear season.
A bull market is not simple, in a bull market, there will be a lot of money will pour into the market during that season.
1251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin price control by human agents or electronic technology? on: April 20, 2023, 01:57:14 AM
(....)
Or is totally program that way? Only your views please.
If you understand Bitcoin first, Bitcoin is decentralized, no one owns it, and no one can control it. So in terms of price, I agree that it's not being controlled by other entities too.
Like any other asset, the price of bitcoin is influenced by market supply and demand dynamics. It is influenced by a number of things, including international political and economic developments, cryptocurrency-related news, or about laws, other regulations of different governments, and many more.
1252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: April 20, 2023, 01:53:16 AM
OP for sure is misunderstanding how gambling works. And for sure even how much your capital for gambling is, you can't guarantee 100% that you will make profits especially since OP wants constant profits/winnings which will not really work on gambling.
Much better OP to start trying to play with a small amount (the amount that you can afford) and get back here to analyze what we are saying.
1253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10k investment on: April 20, 2023, 01:41:54 AM
In terms of holding I can do it for 1-3 years no real time limit. Not sure what returns I might get short term vs long term. ADA for example i might get 3 to 4 x return, however with XRP that might be a lot more should they win the court case.
(....)
Why not buy Bitcoin and Ethereum? It got maybe low ROI but it will help you to sleep at night peacefully.
Think also other high market cap altcoins but you need to do research here. Ripple and Cardano always got issues since before. Maybe you can buy these altcoins but a small portion only, and allocate a high percentage of your portfolio to quality ones like high market cap coins.
1254  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't encourage multiple trading! on: April 20, 2023, 01:31:02 AM
(....)
Yesterday he experience unusual hit when bitcoin price drops again, four trades loss at once when the market go against him. Personally I don't advise multiple trade especially when you're not familiar with trade
I am not against this, especially if you found a good entry on other pairs, it's all good. It's just another strategy to potentially maximize gains while minimizing losses on cryptocurrency trading involves opening multiple trade positions.
But right now, most altcoins are just correlated with Bitcoin, so expect that altcoins will drop too once Bitcoin drop.
1255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it advisable to invest on Solana? on: April 20, 2023, 01:18:04 AM
the token is still rising up though we have learned that this is only pumped by FTX. i thought SOL was over after the FTX scam but it's still recovering.
(....)
You got a point here, after what happened to FTX Exchange, I started to sell my Solana for other altcoins like layer 2 tokens.
And add also their network outage, because it was not the only 1 time that happened, it already happens multiple times.
Yes, the transaction fees on Solana are extremely cheap and fast, I tried the Solana network for quite some time especially participating in their DeFi platforms.
1256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH gas fees are a joke. on: April 20, 2023, 01:15:34 AM
I honestly think that it is a temporary thing that will pass soon. I know that spending nearly 3 bucks per transaction, and as high as 20+ dollars for each action taken, that seems like a lot, like approving a new token? That can go as high as 40 bucks depending on the moment.
(....)
This is an already known issue of Ethereum for years now. Scalability is really the issue right now for Ethereum and that's why the birth of layer 2 networks started and it will help to scale the Ethereum network.

To be honest, Ethereum for me right now is only for whales. If you are just a person who want do use Ethereum using small funds, you will eat by these high transaction fees.
1257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorites altcoins these days? on: April 20, 2023, 01:03:38 AM
Mine was BNB, ETH, RNDR, ARB. What about you guys? What do you keep following or watching these days? and why?
Among the list, I'm going with ARBITRUM and ETHEREUM.
Arbitrum right now is the trend, with congested Ethereum network, a lot of people are looking for alternative of Ethereum network and here comes the layer 2 network Arbitrum, and most of projects also from Ethereum already support Arbitrum now, so for me, these two altcoins right now is a must-watch!
1258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC vs physical gold price potential on: April 18, 2023, 11:29:45 PM
(....)
- I think this is only true when BTC reaches mass adoption like gold does now. But I think this has a good chance of happening because CBDC's will lose their value just like fiat currency. People will run to real stores of value like precious metals or BTC. BTC is more accessible than gold and so I expect more people to chose BTC over time.
When Bitcoin price also, I think we will start to experience a huge price hike for Bitcoin in the next short future same like Gold, Gold started from nothing.
As others say, Bitcoin is like a digital version of gold.
Take note also that when Gold started its Bitcoin ETF, that was also the time the price started to go up. So we should be aware of this kind of event too.
1259  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Bitcoin in 1 Minute charts on: April 18, 2023, 11:23:39 PM
Sometimes when I use a 1-minute timeframe for trading, that's the only time before I enter a trade position.
For example, I trade on higher timeframes when doing most of my analysis for day trading.
Before I enter to trade, I analyze a little bit on a lower time frame like a 1-minute chart, to see and try to get and find the perfect entry.
1260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HK envisions a positive outlook for cryptos, especially altcoins ? on: April 18, 2023, 11:20:29 PM
With this kind of news, it's all a WIN for the cryptocurrency market. Bitcoin will almost come here first. After that, altcoins.
After that also will lead to lot of scam projects because some could use this positive news to gain people to invest in their projects which will turn out as scams.
