In test matches, it is not easy to score at 6 runs per over or above and that too against a decent pace lineup which includes players such as Kemar Roach, Shannon Gabriel and Jason Holder. With just 90 overs remaining, I don't think that England can win this one. IMO, they should bat out the remaining overs and try to frustrate the Windies bowlers. That will lower the morale of West Indies team before the next match.
There is actually some chance for England to win this match if they are posting a target of 300+ within 10-15 overs and leave 75+ overs for Windies to chase the target. Of course, this is risky on the part of ENG, but if they want a result out the match this the only way to go and I think that what they are going to do. Only if the Windies decide to play defensively and doesn't bother to win this match, we'll see a draw. |

Thank you for your valuable idea. But, I have heard about specialized companies that focus on the study of blockchain transactions. They can interconnect your ID with one of your wallets, arenīt you afraid that in the future they will be even more advanced and one day they will reveal all transactions? When you send your coins for example from Binance to one of your addresses, it is obvious that it is probably yours and from this point you are trapped, or?  If you are worried that someone may trackback the transactions from an exchange and eventually find your wallet, convert all your exchange holdings into Monero and then use xmr.to to convert it back to Bitcoin and send it to your Wallet. This way nobody can find your wallet. |

Lol. I was alo tempted when I saw the odds on the draw.
Too late to get that odd unless we have one or two sessions to be played and there is a chance for England to win and then rain comes again :-P I highly doubt such an odd will come by again unless WI are forced to follow-on and is sure to lose the match. I am not gonna bet on whether it is going to rain or not Btw, I dont know what came over the WI batsmen, 13 runs of Woakes and now 17 of Board. Only 203 runs more to avoid a follow-on. |

There can still be a result out of this match if the rain stays away because all it takes is for England to take a few quick wickets which then puts the pressure on the WI and as we have seen in the past the WI do crack under pressure. Right now the only team I can seeing winning is England as they can bowl the WI out for say 250 and then bat until they have a 380 run and put the WI into bat and see how they go. I can only see two outcomes here, England win or a drawn match.
Yeah, only England has a chance to win this match but I think we'll have a draw here. We only have a maximum of 180 overs in two days, so if England manages to get Windies out under 270 runs, they shouldn't go to bat but should enforce a follow-on and go for the kill if they want a result out of this match. I also doubt there will be some weather interference like bad light or some drizzles, so maybe we'll see around 160 overs, so it's better to enforce a follow-on incase Windies fall short of 270. After hearing from you that almost none of Poker providers apply provably fair mechanism i was firstly disappointed. Then i realize that provably fair mechanism is kinda useless in player vs player type of game (which poker is). Having proof that cards are 100% randomly shuffled is not giving us proof that site owner is not scamming by simply becoming one of players and knowing every other cards. That's enough to know when to bet, when to pass and win every tournament. Have you heard about anyone ever addressing this issue in online poker?

I watched the match for an hour in Star Sports 2 channel. I dont know why but it didn't attract me much. All the 6 fielders are at the boundaries except for the wicket keeper and the bowler what kind of cricket is that  @Royse I did search if i could find an online streaming channel but I couldn't find one  Guess you'll have to stick with cricbuzz for updates |

This is actually good news for West Indies  If today's play is washed out, then we have only 2 days of play so if the Windies bat sensibly they can end up in a draw  But who knows maybe ENG will wind them up and win by an innings. |

Any prediction on declaration? 450 sounds good? How about give 12-15 overs to Windies so that English bowler could get a chance to strike 1-2 wickets with the new ball? no matter what score is.
Yeah, 450 runs sounds good but with the sudden loss of wickets they probably won't reach it or they'll go for some heavy hitting and end up over 450. Irrespective of the score, ENG should declare and let Windies bat for 10-15 overs and try to pick some wickets. |

West Indies decided to bowl and might find themselves in a shock now that England have comeback strongly in 2nd test with losing just 3 wickets and making 207 on first day of the play. Sibley and Stokes managed to establish a good partnership and if they can hold for the first session of today's play they can easily manage to target 400+ runs in first innings.
I missed yesterdays game, but what I saw from the match highlights is that the Windies let themselves down with some very poor/reluctant fielding and dropping out some sitters. Sibley doesn't look settled in my view and he is as vulnerable as early in the game but Stokes looks more fluent and settled. So, if Windies could somehow break this partnership and pick up a few wickets then they can stop them from crossing 400 thereby standing a chance to get back into the game. |
