241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the easiest way to help grow Bitcoin? on: December 24, 2017, 03:44:06 AM
I doubt that would help. I've done it for years and those companies still don't accept any cryptocurrency. If you're dealing with a large corporation, they'll never hear from their employees on what they should be doing in terms of payments to accept. Small businesses, maybe, large ones, not a chance. Call the CEO or write them an email. That'll go a little further.
242  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Crash on: December 24, 2017, 03:41:11 AM
There was a massive influx of newbies and they'll the ficklest investors ever. That's why the swings are still as high as they were back when we where sub $1000. People just trade on emotion, whether they believe it or not.

Also wtf. Crash? Give me a break. That was a correction. Holy crap. 25% of nothing close to a crash. 75%+ is a crash.
243  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How to detect a fake transaction? on: December 24, 2017, 03:38:47 AM
Man TL;DR version is, no confirmation means that it can be double spent. There's no such thing as a 'fake' transaction, but that certainly doesn't mean that someone can't rip you off with a good old double spend.
244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is DEAD on: December 24, 2017, 03:35:51 AM
It is crazy. I was just about to send 0.2btc and i have to pay more than 0.006 fee! This is outrageous! Almost 300k unconfirmed transactions and it's not getting any better

I would bet my left testicle that Ver is spamming the network like a madman to help his BCH crap increase in value.
Don't go on BCH, it's an old technology, it's just Bitcoin with an 8MB block, move onto real better technologies like IOTA or Byteball, don't make his game!

Oh no. This is the problem, people are now moving to utter shitcoins expecting them to go to the moon because bitcoin fees are out of this world. I think that's the whole idea with every shitcoin. Did you think maybe there's a hell of a lot of incentive for all of these shitcoins to spam?
245  Economy / Lending / Re: 10$ btc request on: December 24, 2017, 03:33:45 AM
I'd pay it all off. I'll cover all fees. It's not a problem.
And not asking for a donation. I completely am willing to repay.
This is a "loan" thread. I have honor and respect. It's the principle of the matter, I know.

You'll cover the $30 tx fee for your $10 loan? Then why are you borrowing $10? Or are you expecting this to confirm anytime soon? The mempool is really backed up at the moment and you'd have to pay a lot to get into a block within the next 24h.

Also, you didn't say when you'd pay this back or how much you'd pay back. Hard to say yes to something where there are no terms at all, anywhere.
246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin transaction stuck for 7 days on: December 24, 2017, 03:30:45 AM
The mempool is full so 110 Satoshis per byte just isn't cutting it at the moment. You could try an accelerator like https://pool.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ if you'd like.

I'd suggest getting your funds off of that shitstorm blockchain.info anyway. They have the worst security in the industry. No idea how they're still in business.

Use a wallet where you are the only one with access to your private key and where you can specify the fee.
247  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to make a full recovery by year end? on: December 24, 2017, 03:27:19 AM
Lol yeah if 25% is a bubble popping then we've got lots more bubbles that are going to pop when we hit 50k, 100k, 300k and 1 million. That'll be the ultimate bubble where everyone uses bitcoin and no one gives a crap about fiat anymore.
248  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin prices continue to rise? until what price? on: December 24, 2017, 03:24:19 AM
There will never technically be an end to the rise in price because once people stop shifting back to the old crappy fiat system fiat will be literally worthless (like it already is) so hundreds of billions of dollars won't even be able to buy a cart full of groceries let alone a bitcoin.
249  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why did I lose on trade ?? on: December 23, 2017, 04:28:28 AM
Lol wtf you didn't even post screenshots or say at what price you sold or anything. How would anyone know what crazy crap you did to lose €500!? Hahaha. Just look at your trade history!!
250  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Invitation Code Bitfinex on: December 23, 2017, 04:22:00 AM
They never existed and they have halted new accounts entirely. Choose a different exchange lol. Maybe one that's taking on new people. Obviously they can't keep up with demand.
251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ate you going to spend or save you bitcoin? on: December 23, 2017, 04:03:55 AM
The proper thing is to do whatever the hell you want because it's your money and no one can take it away from you. Hoard it, spend it, it's all the same. You have complete financial freedom.
252  Economy / Services / Re: Grinding/Questing on any game for BTC on: December 23, 2017, 04:02:19 AM
This could totally be possible with software where they log in then you just control their character running around chopping wood or whatever. I wouldn't expect many people to want that on here, but maybe a gaming forum would help you find people.
253  Economy / Services / Re: FREE --- accelerate transactions on: December 23, 2017, 04:00:16 AM
Why not just post which accelerator you use? Viabtc? Something else? I don't see why we need you as a middle man to a middle man. Help a brotha out.
254  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 2017 Christmas "correction" on: December 23, 2017, 03:58:27 AM
It really wasn't that big of a dip. A correction is healthy and it's needed if you want to continue on a normal pace. That being said, there was a lot of newbie FOMO and I think we'll see another wave of that very shortly.
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why does nobody realize that bitcoin cash is underrated? on: December 23, 2017, 03:53:45 AM
The second bitcoin transaction fees are fixed, Bitcoin cash will be yet another useless altcoin. There are other altcoins that do it better and cheaper anyway, so what's the point in it?

This should be on the altcoin discussion board btw.
256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if a person died with BTC!! on: December 22, 2017, 04:41:07 AM
That's a great feature of bitcoin. If someone dies and takes their private key with them, everyone else's bitcoins are worth just that little bit more. It won't be noticed little by little, but supply and demand will determine the outcome. Let it do the dirty work.
257  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long awaited Bitcoin correction(+) on: December 22, 2017, 04:35:22 AM
Well the massive correction is here. Hang on for the ride newbies! 30% is about where this should stop, but we'll see if we're going to have a bear market for a bit here. I'm not expecting it, as we're still so far on the growth scale and there was no real news that lead to the dip.
258  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Will Go to 7500$ on: December 22, 2017, 04:33:10 AM
Thanks for that logic. Could you maybe show your notes on your awesome technical analysis as to why that number and not 5k or 1k? That would be most interesting to see.
259  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will Bitcoin stop its correction? on: December 22, 2017, 04:10:59 AM
It's already been a 30%± dip so I'd expect the dip to slow down very soon and I'd expect to go right back into a bull market in a few weeks. With so many newbies around, it's hard to say if we'll continue on our normal trend though.
260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The simple reason bitcoin will never be a currency on: December 21, 2017, 03:51:52 AM
Yeah this guy is a total joke. He's obviously FOMOing so hard and he's annoyed that he didn't invest earlier.

When will these people be shunned and exiled already? They obviously won't be around for long.
