1101  Economy / Speculation / Re: oh Arbitrage, where art thou on: April 15, 2017, 02:21:20 PM
Yup looks like bitfinex is insolvent. I'd stay away from (false) arbitrage because you'll never get your money back out.
1102  Economy / Lending / Re: Need $2 on: April 15, 2017, 02:19:51 PM
people have scammed on here for 50 cents, believe it or not

I believe it, I've seen it, and it's going to happen again. OP is a serial scammer, not a newbie. Just look at his posts. Clearly he has lots of alts and has been around a long time. Good luck scamming $2. You're such a great mastermind scammer.
1103  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC doing good after this big dump on: April 15, 2017, 02:16:38 PM
Lop you must be new. Less than 10% of a dip is not a dump. 90% over a week is a dump. There was a dip, then we went back to just about where we were before. It's not a big deal if you just sit back and HODL.
1104  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: USA citizen - how can I buy/sell btc without using Coinbase or LocalBitcoins? on: April 15, 2017, 03:59:54 AM
A quick google should help lol. Paxful, virvox are good. I'd recommend them, but other than that I'm not sure as I'm not American. Google reviews before you use any exchange.
1105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: April 15, 2017, 02:48:03 AM
The majority of alts have no real purpose and are just pumped and dump shitcoins. There are a select few that have real value and there are some that are centralized and aren't even a true crypto IMO. If there is something better than bitcoins it'll take over, but I don't see it happening anytime soon.
1106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Number of Bitcoin users. on: April 15, 2017, 02:43:18 AM
Taking into consideration wallet its insane to trace the total number of bitcoin users, since a single person can have unlimited blockchain accounts, what i can say is we are growing all days, and we atleast around 1 milion to 3 milion bitcoin users, above those i dont know at all how close we can be the total size of the community, only if all become regulated.

That's the wrong-est thing I've ever read. There's no such thing as a bitcoin account. Stop using fiat terms where you need blockchain terms. If you assume any given person uses an average of 2 or 3 wallets (not addresses, wallets) then you can get a fairly accurate answer.

I wish OP had linked the study. I can't find it.
1107  Economy / Speculation / Re: War is coming on: April 15, 2017, 02:39:24 AM
Kill their premium humans and children? Ok well obviously I don't agree with that. I definitely don't agree with much in terms of American politics but I don't think a war will happen. Trump hopefully can't piss off enough people to start a war before he's forced to resign.
1108  Economy / Speculation / Re: "The price of your bitcoin is 1000 times overvalued" on: April 14, 2017, 05:10:09 PM
I think the economist is correct! Bitcoin itself is intrinsically worthless, just like seashells are worthless but were used as money in the past.

Bitcoin is now worth >$1000 just because it has gained acceptance by more and more people- this is where its value lies.
I had a really good laugh reading that some people are really thinking that bitcoin is some kind of a Ponzi scheme.
Tell me you geniuses, how is it possible that bitcoin is a ponzi, when the source code is available for everyone, who has internet connection?
There is no mystery in it, everyone can look into the code, because it is open source right?

Bitcoin is worthless?
It may be overvalued a little bit, but as we can see we dont have some strange price drops from 1200$ level to 1000$ just for few seconds, and im sure that would happen if bitcoin price would be overvalued.
Im waiting for some real proofs that we should pay 1000 times less for 1 bitcoin than we do now. So far, I have found none.

Exactly. If bitcoins are a ponzi scheme then my whole life is a ponzi scheme too. Email is a ponzi. They steal your computer's electricity to send messages accross the world. That's a waste of electricity! Ponzi! Also, the internet is a ponzi. Someone somewhere is making money off of the internet. I know, it's open source but someone is making money!? Omg ponzi. Shock of a lifetime here folks.
1109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Donald Trump Tank Bitcoin with a simple tweet? on: April 14, 2017, 05:07:38 PM
No. Bitcoins aren't based solely on America and how their blow hard president feels. If trump is against bitcoins then I'm buying more. If he says something positive I'll just HODL.
1110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Tourist destination and Evolution: ITALY on: April 14, 2017, 05:03:50 PM
I wish I could go to a nice place like Italy but lately I've been doing a lot of stay-cations in Canada. There's a lot to see here and I don't have to worry about the low value of our dollar. If bitcoins were accepted in a lot of places and it was possible to vacation just with bitcoins I would fly accross the ocean for sure! It'd be awesome to go to Rome some day.
1111  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin by Christmas 2018? (POLL) on: April 14, 2017, 04:10:08 PM
It's 100% going to be moon. I have no doubt in my mind. No lower than $100 million each. This year's going to be great and the next year is going to be even better. Trump will abolish the USD and only use bitcoins. China will follow suit, every corner store will accept bitcoins and we'll all live happily ever after.
1112  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitcoinware.net possible scam on: April 14, 2017, 03:10:48 PM
Thanks for the warning. Could you also post the Txid?

How did you hear about this site? I had never heard of it before this post.
1113  Other / Meta / Re: Anyone else unable to edit their posts today? on: April 14, 2017, 03:08:21 PM
In case you wanted to edit this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1868946.msg18585948#msg18585948

You can't since it's on "Auctions section" and there's no option for it.

Ya I think I just didn't realize for that post, but I still can't edit anything else. I don't really need to but anyways, I don't have an option for my old posts either.
1114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If YOU were Satoshi, what would you do now? on: April 14, 2017, 03:07:13 PM
If you were the one, Satoshi Nakamoto
What would YOU do at this very important time with bitcoins life?

I would do everything on my power to make sure you never were allowed back on this forum you piece of garbage. Hahahaha. Maybe I am satoshi. Maybe this is coming soon. Stay tuned.
1115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: F2Pool: "Segwit will be a disaster." on: April 14, 2017, 03:05:39 PM
Lol luckily these places aren't just run by one person right? So they'll have to all agree on what to do. I thought they supported segwit though??
1116  Other / Meta / Anyone else unable to edit their posts today? on: April 14, 2017, 12:38:16 PM
I went to edit my post and I don't have the option anymore. I thought I'd go into my recent posts and maybe I could edit there and there's no option there either. I'm posting this to confirm I'm logged in properly but obviously I can see that I am.. Just me or is everyone having this problem today?

Edit: Now I can edit this post. Maybe the subforum I was in doesn't allow edits? That's probably it.

Edit again. I actually can't edit anything from before this post. What's going on? I think it's a good idea for old posts but not for ones I just made.
1117  Economy / Auctions / Re: Legendary account with many green trust on: April 14, 2017, 12:34:42 PM
Hahahahaha part of a divorce settlement!? A forum account? We're not that stupid. So it's not your account and rather than making up how you didn't hack it you start off with a very obvious story that you made up. No court is going through forum accounts, judging their value then telling you to go and sell them hahaha. That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard in my life.

Post that portion of your divorce settlement or this is a hacked account and it's all complete and total bullshit.
1118  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] $300 walmart gift cards $10 each at 75% bitcoin on: April 09, 2017, 03:09:43 AM
And you're able to provide the receipts for these cards that you purchased with legitimate clean money... Right? You forgot to add that to your OP.
1119  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [FREE] Unlimited Web Hosting on: April 09, 2017, 03:02:42 AM
The past has shown that services like this are very spotty, at best. The accounts are overloaded with users (due to being "free") which leads to horrible service in most situations, especially with databases. Curious as to how you counter this.
Hi, Ranlo, I'm glad you asked. We have several servers in which we deploy the newly created accounts, this helps a lot since its not a single server the one that's getting overloaded with all the new websites. Also, our automated system automatically supends those websites which are using a lot of server resources (usually they are violating our ToS by installing forum suites like I.P. Boards or vBulletin or other resource intensive scripts).

Either the servers are already overloaded, or it is very rapidly going to be heading that way. No free hosting provider gets enough revenue to keep the servers underloaded through optional premium upgrades; simply not enough people will want to upgrade (even less because you offer "unlimited" everything for free already). But it's not even that - apparently, they make money off of ads on their website. I can tell you right away that that won't work.

Two things. First, the link in the OP has a typo in it. Also, I found it interesting that your premium plan is... in progress? http://prntscr.com/ete043
We have carefully analized our bussiness model and we are sure it's sustainable in the long run Smiley. Thank you for telling me about the link, just fixed it.
About our premium options, yes, they are still in progress. We are currently talking with several other web hosting companies in order to get special deals for our users, shall they wish to upgrade at some point in the future.

So what is the business model...? Ad revenue basically? And if we aren't doing anything against the ToS we won't be throttled so to speak? Or if you get big that's when you'll be throttled or have to pay?
...that would help us whether we avail of this free offer or just let it pass.

Google translate may suggest avail, but it literally makes no sense in any post on bitcointalk. Check yourself before you wreck yourself.
1120  Economy / Economics / Re: Will you invest in a MLM scam in early stage? on: April 09, 2017, 02:37:41 AM
Hahaha will I invest in a scam!? No! Never! That's riskier than investing in a legitimate business because you know it's a scam rather than you hope they do well. They will probably just scam everyone and not wait if they're brand new. Obviously. Omg what a dumb idea.

You should ask this instead: would you steal money from others or not with the risk of losing money yourself? and you need to realize one thing, do you want to earn money without working and without knowing where that money came from? I don't care if it's a MLM business or pyramid scheme/scam you must make sure what are you going to feed your family with, whether some people losing in order for you to earn or not.

There is a huge risk you'll be scammed because you know they're scammers!! It's 100% the exact ippo of no risk, but if you don't get scammed miraculously somehow then you just stole from someone else.
