241  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can you make everybody to win in their crypto trading? on: February 13, 2024, 09:45:45 PM
I wonder why some traders are still experiencing losses in their crypto trading upon all the impart professional traders are imparting  traders in some trading section to ensure traders know when to trade to win and when not to trade to avoid losses.
Because that is actually the truth. Don't ever expect that if you follow these trading experts you can be fully like them. No, that will depend on the situation and you can't make the same thinking and decision when facing the real scenario because you can't expect them to teach about what you gonna do as you are the ones who can decide it. You can apply all the tips they have but not all situations are suitable as sometimes we need to decide on our own, and that is the most common problem and a cause of losses.

242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Upcoming altcoins on: February 13, 2024, 09:03:15 PM
Are there any new or upcoming altcoins that have caught your attention recently?
there are many altcoins that is into existence the thing is that the text time to know what coin that is good that I have a potential that is in good conduct so before you invest in any altcoin you have to make a property search to ensure that there is a life into the project that you want to invest on because so many of the altcoins they are only valued during the time the launch them and the after the launching the coin began to vanish in the market so that is why it is encouraging to ensure that you have make appropriate research concerning any altcoin that you want to invest on before investment
That happens almost every day and the biggest concern is the legitimacy of these new projects knowing that most of them are worthless and scams. And it avoids investing in scam projects, the usual practice of investors is to reject and ignore them as they prefer choosing old coins. That is why we can't see new projects stay long in the market because their intention upon creating this is not for the long-term but to scam innocent people and go. Which is I couldn't blame people who think that new projects can't be trusted and that even doing thorough research is not enough to prove that they are reliable.
243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Casimero (possible fight in 2024) Let's discuss! on: February 13, 2024, 02:15:20 PM
I think Inoue is still interested because Casimero has that one belt that he needs, perhaps it was due to the pandemic, but I think Casimero fought Duke Micah that time and defend his belt and Casimero is supposedly go to England and fight Butler. But there were a lot of complications in the part of Casimero already, and maybe the issue with his trainer or with MP or the weight itself.

That was a costly mistake Casimero did. If he didn't let that belt stripped, he could have fight Inoue for a unification bout, but things happen, he loss his belt and Inoue loss his interest on fighting Casimero too. It's like we were rob because we know that only Casimero could potentially give Inoue a good challenge, but Casimero loss on technicalities on the ranking requirement that is not eligible to fight the champ, just a bad fate for him.

Anyhow, I agree that if everything depends on Casimero right now. If he wanted to get the attention of Inoue, he will have to be the mandatory at least in one of the division. Perhaps being a ex-champion of WBO, this is the organization that Casimero will have a good chance to be work it out and go up in ranks and then become the #1 fighter in that division and become the mandatory.
That might happen if he wins his next fight, but it seems like there was no schedule for him yet. Waiting for too long is not good for Inoue as he still have a lot to achieve, and most likely he'll just move up instead.
244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are these P2P crypto platforms SCAM? on: February 12, 2024, 09:33:01 PM
I can't tell if they are scams or not because I have no experience with them. Some of these platforms have gained popularity already but Binance is leading because this exchange has a reputation that makes users think they are safe. People had after the safety transaction and they will choose the platform where they feel confident which is why new P2P platforms gain less interest. Just maybe they are scams for now OP but can't guarantee that they will be performing the same in the coming days. Still, we need to act cautiously and care about our privacy.
245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: February 12, 2024, 01:07:33 PM
Seems to have a good basis, though if Magnolia manage to win game 6 SMB will be in trouble, they might know that and they might push game 6 and try all their best to win the game.
Right now, they are in a 50-50 chance although SMB is taking the lead in the series. A win by Magnolia in game 6 will not change the status of their match up in game 7. In fact, I believe the series will be more interesting since it has a game 7 and people will be watching, i think the right bet IMO is Magnoli with the spread because if it's going to be a close game, Magnolia might be able to cover the spread.
246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia April 20 WBC junior welterweight title on: February 12, 2024, 12:27:28 PM
Great match. I'm just curiuos why Ryan Garcia's name now is floating everywhere. I mean, we talk about Lopez, Rolly, Davis and now Haney... they seemed  want to have a piece of Ryan. Maybe because he is an attraction, that they know when they fight Ryan they'll get a good pay check?

Since this is just a potential fight.. let's keep this updated so we will know its chances of happening.. Right now, there are plenty of rumors on the space about Ryan's potential fight next.

Because he is an attention seeker. The kid is just not a top-level fighter but he is pushing too hard to be lined up with those names. But he is easy to market though which makes him a good contender to match for easy money. Thats what fame can do for him, he can find someone to fight him to make it appear like he has the balls.

He keeps switching camps I think at every fight and he may lose every time too. Haney is superior to him, I doubt he could hit that Haney without risking his chin to which he will be knocked out.

He was something until he loss to Tank Davis. However, he is still a great challenger since he won his last fight and with this big fight, it shouldn't be hard for him promote this fight since he already had the popularity. All he has to do now is to train hard since Haney isn't an easy opponent, but in case he succeed, he should be ripping a huge reward and he will see his name at the top of the list again.

248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A student investing in bitcoin? on: February 09, 2024, 02:45:39 PM
This is not the priority of a student but it never means we should not and decline the opportunity we see. If we have extra money, why we should not? Besides, investing in Bitcoin does not need huge capital, even $50 is enough to start which is why it won't limit or stop a student or anyone who only has $50 in their pocket. As long as we have an idea of what to do and the needed wallet where to store our BTC, it all be okay. Of course, the amount is not big enough to expect a huge profit but continue doing this for a few months, it becomes big. The most important is that we never miss the opportunity.

Having an interest in investing in BTC is certainly a good thing,
Unless we know and understand what this is all about.
249  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading tokens or coins, which one is better or gives more profits? on: February 09, 2024, 12:07:24 PM
Either of the two, it is best to consider where it was listed and tradable. Whether it was DEX or CEX, as long as it was on a reputable platform, it could be a great choice. But most investors prefer to invest in a project that has used case because this will give them a profit assurance as they are certain that it will pump due to increasing demand. I invest in coins and at the same time with tokens but as I observe, old coins are more profitable. It is probably because I'd choose known coins and old projects which are a factor helping me to earn. It is a matter of choice in general, we stil lose if we choose worthless coins.
250  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learning comes before earning on: February 08, 2024, 09:29:28 PM
As always - knowledge is the key to success. Nobody becomes a good trader without making themselves knowledgeable on this job. Learning is a preparation for a certain thing that we want to achieve and to make it possible. But it was not just learning the basics instead, have to learn more for passive results. For newbies, they have to understand that trading isn't as easy as they think. Earning is quite possible if we really want it to happen, must take priority to learn first before we start trading as this is our ticket to success. Otherwise, never think about earning as it certainly impossible from that situation.
251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Teofimo Lopez Vs. Jamaine Ortiz WBO Welterweight Title February 8 on: February 08, 2024, 01:41:29 PM
Here's the press con yesterday.  It felt like Teo was not in his right mind anymore  I couldn't find a proper emoji to insert to describe him  Roll Eyes

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FWn58IwLtQs

All the time, he was pretending to be reading that Bruce Lee book that he tried to apply to himself. It felt like this was a loss anymore. I'm having doubts Teo will win this fight. It's like listening to someone with deep thoughts I think he said he already has climbed the top and come back down again so he understands it all. He lives in his small book.

Correct, not sure what's going in the mind of Teo and the way he talks, looks like he is high and talk something about his idol Bruce Lee and then previous Puerto Rican great boxers and then Jesus? WTF? And then have some words on Keyshawn Davis beside him.

So not sure what to get out of this press conference in my opinion, no animosity to bring fight to this fight or something that fans can be excited for his defense of his belt.
It was different though in the weigh-in, Teo trying to punk Ortiz, but it's not working. But it good to hear that they have the same weight, or at least no one goes about the 140 lbs and make this fight difficult for both sides.

The video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WZu2OG8Kopw

Just a good laugh as someone telling Teo to read his book,  Grin

Can't wait to watch this fight. Teo will again showcase his special talent, and might easily dispose Ortiz  in this battle.

Don't miss the betting odds of the fight.
Teo x1.18 vs Oritz x 5.80 ( big underdog)

I think I'm going to be on Teo to win via KO, currently it's @2.90... It's unlikely but I like to see Ortiz being aggressive so he'll not last 12 rounds. I still respect the power of Teo with 13 Ko from 19 fights.
252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Selling a property to play gamble on: February 08, 2024, 12:20:07 PM
I am not that addicted at all and if I ever be, I'll never attempt to sell my property just to fund my addiction.
Maybe yo'll make a decision that you don't like when you aren't addicted yet. It's better if we could prevent ourselves from getting addicted in gambling as it could result to doing things like this. Some even became homeless because of gambling addiction, they sold their houses and cars, and everything they can sell just to finance their gambling addiction.

Gambling addiction it is, because gambling alone will not ruin our finances, since the definition of gambling is entertainment, we get ourselves entertain but with limitation so the risk of getting addiction is not high.
253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Must you lose before you gain in Bitcoin investment? on: February 07, 2024, 09:12:16 PM
I'm not going to believe those words because that only happens to those who invest in Bitcoin without knowledge. Perhaps, we can avoid that from happening if we care to listen to others' advice and not invest blindly. Many people never lose from investing in Bitcoin because they manage it so well. In an investor mindset, the word losing is not on their mind, they'd find a way to earn rather than let their money cast in the wind. Losing is not an option unless we don't mind wasting our money but if we value that much, I don't think we just let it happen as there's always a way to save our funds from that situation.
254  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Just HODL on: February 07, 2024, 08:36:37 PM
ven if you desire to trade just use spot trading or any other offering less risk while when using leverage use small leverages and don't be too greedy to use stop lost and take profit.
Trading Bitcoin will not be as profitable as imagined. You can ask traders who have experience in using Bitcoin as a traded coin.
Profits from trading Bitcoin are obtained, but they are only a small part of the profits obtained by Bitcoin holders who set return targets.
Spot trading is less hassle and less risky than leveraged trading. I agree. However, in this type of spot trading, I also think that if you choose Bitcoin as the coin being traded, you will not get a profit according to the target, smaller than long-term holding.
Well, altcoin trading pairs are more profitable than Bitcoin, based on my experience but the risk is too high knowing that highly volatile coins may dump drastically and sometimes never recover which certainly makes you lose if it happens. Unlike Bitcoin, where if you just hold after the dump, we can still see it coming back. But if we are an impatient trader, whether it is Bitcoin or altcoins we still need to learn how to hold because trading is not all about buying and selling, holding is also a part of it. In fact, sometimes it happens that I hold for a few days waiting for the recovery and it works, I'd never lose any but instead, I make a profit.
255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This was my highest risk. on: February 07, 2024, 01:00:09 PM
This is just a regular parlay bet, but I would say that you are lucky as it's not easy to win at least x100 of total odds in parlay. Maybe if you have bet a huge amount like an amount that could affect your finances if you lose, then you can say that it's your higest risk.

As a gambler, I do regular parlays and I don't mind losing $10 at maximum, even on a daily basis. However, I'm not talking about loss only as sometimes I also won in gambling with parlay, sometimes I win $100 to $200... I know it's just a parlay, it's not easy to win, but I have to ensure that I can easily forget my losses even on a regular basis.
256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: February 07, 2024, 12:00:56 PM
The Milwaukee Bucks were 4-1 until the management and Giannis weren't satisfied and wanted change and agreed to hire Doc Rivers. Doc River successfully brought change to the team and they are now 1-4 since then.

But these defeats may be understandable since some key players are missing. Doc and the Bucks are also still building their chemistry and working on their differences. And all the 4 games that Doc was handling were on the road. So we will find out how Doc performs when they are back to Milwaukee in their next 4 games.

They were 4:1 ??  Grin
Anyway, nobody is surprised the Doc Rivers hiring looks bad. It looked bad when they did it and it looks even worse now.
But hey, he can coach the eastern allstars now, good for him and robbery for Adrian Griffin.

If DR gets fired at some point from the Bucks as well maybe NBA teams will finally wake and see what a terrible coach he is. His teams always had so much potential and great rosters but only with the super team Celtics he won it once.  Roll Eyes

Milwaukee Bucks gamble for that, they can't change that anymore as it's too early to conclude. When Ty Lou had Harden they were struggling at least few games before they figure out how to be dominant, so most probably that was the model the Milwaukee Bucks want to achieve when hiring DoC Rivers.

Bucks have some good offense inside, Giannis would handle that, but it seems like they loss their outside threat. I think they need to improve that as it's very much necessary when Giannis gets some limited points inside.
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any airdrops you are anticipating this year? on: February 06, 2024, 09:59:14 PM
Still searching but not on the focus of looking it after having a bad experience with them. After the 2017 bull run, I haven't seen airdrops are valuable, most of them are scams. I tried some last 2018 - 2020 but sadly got nothing valuable and it only stuck in my wallet. A reason why I don't think we need to spend time doing this is we only got nothing, we are just wasting our time in the end. But if you did nothing in your life, definitely a lot of airdrops to join - meme and AI projects seem hot these days, and there are a lot of free coins to give.

258  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: As a trader never settle for less on: February 06, 2024, 09:32:45 PM
In fact, everyone wants to earn money, not only the rich are earning money, but they have more opportunities to earn money than the poor who do not have money to invest. So they don't have anything to invest, so they stay at their same place, they can't move forward, while what the rich have is more money, they invest what they have somewhere, then someone any money that he has starts getting ego, while the poor person stands in his place and earns money with what he has. If opportunities are not available, then he cannot move from that place because he has nothing to invest .

You won't get the opportunity if you can not see it. Rich people become more rich because they see the opportunity and use it to make money. If you take away all the wealth of a successful businessman and leave him as he is an average man he will still be rich if he gets some time in his life. Rich people have different mindsets and point of view about their surroundings. When some people are doing something for fun business-minded people do that same fun by at the same time they will figure out a way to make money from it.
Well, average people can do the same as well but it takes a longer time, unlike rich people because of financial support. Rich people become richer because they already have enough money to start a business or money-earning opportunities that other people don't have. But this is not the case, what we just need to do is continue pursuing our goal, aiming high, and keep motivated. If other people can make it, it is not impossible to do it as well, maybe it varies on time but the opportunities are just the same. Only we need to keep pushing and moving towards our plan.
259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling mistake repeated by the gamblers on: February 06, 2024, 01:08:06 PM
When a gambler sees gambling as a means to make money, that is when the gambler will not be satisfied with his little win and will continue playing to win more, forgetting that gambling is a game of luck. This why one should have a time limit for his gambling activities, so that when that time elapsed, he can stop playing. Greed also make people not to know when to stop playing.
That is not true, there are gamblers who are professional and they follow their strategy. The problem is most of us aren't professional so we don't know how to handle our bankroll in gambling, as we are being unrealistic most of the time. A professional gambler would be happy with 20% gain in a day or week, but those who aren't are greedy to think they can turn their bankroll into x10 in just a short period of time.

Over confidence should not be brought into gambling because nobody is a professional gambler, and gamble is more of luck than skill. When you have too much confidence in yourself, it will lead you to great loss.
Like I mentioned, there are professional gamblers. If we aren't professional, it's okay to be confident but we should be realistic with what we are doing, if we have an strategy, make sure we are able to evaluate and is back by real data, not by mere prediction only.
260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Making informed decisions is our responsibility on: February 05, 2024, 09:18:35 PM
Knowledge truly is power, and in the ever-evolving world of crypto, staying informed is more crucial than ever. But simply consuming information isn't enough. It's about seeking the right knowledge, the insightful gems that illuminate your path, not just filling your head with any shiny object.

Information is already there and so many scam stories we heard but many people still get scams. It is a question of why it is still an existing problem despite that we already know the usual trick of these scammers and it only appears in my mind that advice is useless if nobody is listening. Scams will continue to spread because people are still believing these colorful words and tempting rewards even though it is very clear that was a big lie and scam.

That is why I hate those people who say crypto is a scam and blame which in fact, they are the problem. Because if they only know how to listen and follow advice, they won't fall into scams for sure.
