401  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did you overcome the hurdles and gain confidence to trade as a Newbie? on: November 15, 2023, 09:38:55 PM
Entering the world of Bitcoin trading can be both exciting and daunting, especially for newcomers. The volatile nature of cryptocurrency markets and the plethora of information available can sometimes overwhelm new traders.

Todays question i would share how we overcame these hurdles and gain confidence to trade as a Newbie?.
It was exciting really but after experiencing losses at the very first try, you'd start thinking if I would continue this or not --doubts just then arrive. Confidence couldn't be made instantly, in fact, I only got it almost a year after trading when I felt like I was already familiar with the market movement and had a lot of experience.
We can never be confident as a newbie, we have a lot of things that we encounter as we continue our trading journey and this will teach us to build confidence.
402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 15, 2023, 12:03:55 PM
Yes the acquisition of VanVleet and Brooks turned out to be very good for this team. Jalen Seems more comfortable now and then they have Alperen Sengun who is having his best season so far. A balance team with 5 players averaging double figures in PPG.

I still have doubts on both teams making it to the playoffs but it's a breath of fresh air seeing them on top.

That's one of the reasons, I guess, but I believe the main reason is hiring this guy (Ime Udoka) to do the coaching job. He was terminated in Boston due to some controversy, but prior to that, he already made Boston what they are now. So, I believe he is a talented coach, and I would not be surprised if the Rockets make it to the playoffs this season.
403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: November 15, 2023, 11:27:05 AM
I will agree with some of your observations on the Warriors, this is the worst start for them because even at home they are losing very close games, that is very uncharacteristic of GSW. Usually they have worst record on the road, but when it come to their homecourt, the are at least in the top 3 of winning in their own.

Utah vs Portland, I like Utah here, Portland is struggling, so -3.5 at 1.73.

Also taking the Nuggets vs Clippers at -3.5 at 1.77.

Utah won the game after establishing that good lead during the first half and managed to keep it until the end of the game, JC's 30 points lead the scoring take this win against the Blazers, though on your second pick it's just a .5 away in winning that too but luck ain't help for you to make that 2 game win today.
I want to see the highlights of this game; I wasn't able to watch it due to a power outage in our area. I would love to see how JC helped his team to win. I think JC has been the top scorer of the team recently, and there are a lot of good things happening that way.

In the other game outcomes, both the Mavs and GSW suffered bookies winning the eyes of the bettors and favorite been beaten by the underdogs.

I wouldn't bet on the Warriors as Curry was out, but on the Dallas Mavericks, the outcome is unbelievable. After they dominated the Pelicans, the opposite thing happened in the rematch.

Lots of fights happened today; Collins of the Spurs also got involved as well.
404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do You Think Staking is the Perfect Passive Income Strategy in a Bull Market? on: November 14, 2023, 09:50:33 PM

For me, staking during a bull run has been akin to hitting two birds with one stone as enjoying the rewards from staking and potentially benefiting from the rising value of the staked assets. This dual advantage has made it a successful strategy in my experience. More than just a means to earn, staking has also been a way for me to engage with and contribute to the growth and innovation of blockchain technology.

It gives you more if you are staking good coins but if you are staking shitcoins, you only get nothing and lose your money.
Staking is risky and we should have to know that first because at the time we put our money into a particular platform for staking, we are also losing control of it which means that if they take it or the exchange platform turns into a scam, you can never take it back.

You can say it is hitting 2 birds is one stone but sometimes you may hit it as well - your money and your time.
405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: November 14, 2023, 11:35:05 AM
We’ve got a couple nationally televised games on tonight to keep things exciting. Not so hyped about the first one with the Spurs and Thunder,

I still find it hype though, Wemby and Chet will face each other, the last time they played was during the preseason where Wemby won the battle but as a team, OKC is quite better now since Chet is not the main player of the team, he'll experience lesser pressure compared to Wemby, but I still want to see their production so I have something to compare with.

but the second game between the Clippers and the Nuggets might be fun to watch. The nuggets obviously should easily win, but the odds aren’t too great. Still, watching Denver slap LA around should lead to some interesting commentary from Chuck and the guys on TNT.

They'll be embarrass again if they'll lose, but I'm quite surprise with the spread though, it's only -6 for the Nuggets considering they are at home and will be facing a struggling LA Clippers, it shoudl be at least -20 IMO.  Grin
406  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 14, 2023, 11:09:26 AM
....but the Milwaukee Bucks still won that game with 118 to 109 final score for that game,

Yeah, that was due to Giannis's dominant performance. Even though Lillard had returned to the lineup, you could tell he wasn't at 100% as he struggled in that game. It's still a positive for them, though, as long as Lillard is on the court, it inspires the team to play harder, especially when they have their full starting lineup.

Lillard had 12 points but 3-17 shooting?  Embarrassed
407  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Must Read: Scams disguised as premium signal groups/channel on: November 13, 2023, 09:57:56 PM
All signal groups are totally a scam thing whether it was a premium signal group or not. In fact, it was very clear to us that nobody can predict right to what will happen next and why we should have to believe someone doing it. To be fooled into this kind of work, trusting these signal groups is no different from making themselves a fool. These people still don't understand how the crypto market works and they still don't understand the meaning of volatility.
Well, they can learn it after experiencing losses due to trusting these signal groups.
408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you rather make your investments in FIAT or CRYPTO? on: November 12, 2023, 10:03:39 PM
The crypto market has a high level of volatility. Anyone who is about to make an investment needs to have a good understanding of the volatile market. Now the question is, even with volatility, will you still choose to make your investment in fiat through bank savings with regular monthly interests or rather make your investments in crypto where you hold your asset and still have the opportunity to save and make monthly interest?
I chose both of them because it was a good thing to do as it was too risky to just put our money solely into a single form of investment. But I put more on fiat investment over crypto even though we think that crypto investment is profitable because of its safety assurance. I don't save money in the banks either as I use them for investment, maybe just for now while still working on it and keep on growing.

Anyways, we have to choose the kind of investment that we have the knowledge and we think that we can manage it properly as this will be our assurance for success.

409  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You are also like them? on: November 10, 2023, 02:56:08 PM
Nah, I don't do charts, they overwhelm me. Also, realized long ago so called technical analysts's bullshittery. People who watch them are newbies, and these YTbers feed on their ignorance, unfortunate is that there are always newbies to prey for.

TA can be effective, but influencers with their ability to exaggerate everything they say and touch have created this myth that it is an infallible tool that allows them to perfectly predict the future, and when anyone that watches their different streams and videos tries to follow their formulas they find this is not true, now we know that a great deal of what we watch on TV is not true and we do not care, however when the advice those influencers are giving can be used by others to lose their savings, that is when it is clear their lies have gone way too far and they must tone it down.
They are so-called influencers and they have the ability to grab someone's attention thinking that all of their artworks are true. Well, just for the sake of money, they will do it even if it is not real. Very unfortunate that someone will take this opportunity and even fool people even though they know that was not reasonable enough to do it and able to see some will suffer the output of our misinformation.
Well, as viewers or listeners, we should also know the right person to follow and of course, not easily believe people online.
410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: November 10, 2023, 01:01:28 PM
That’s why I stayed away from betting the Bucks today. They should be able to easily beat the Pacers but they’re just not playing good basketball right now. I can’t bet on them until they get some sort of an offense together. Giannis is the most dominant player in the league but giving him the ball and hoping he can dunk it every time is not a good strategy.

It was evident because Giannis got tired towards the end. He's not a superhuman, and that's why he needs someone who can help him, and that someone is Lillard. Unfortunately, Lillard was out in that game. The Bucks have been pretty predictable this season – if it's not Lillard, then Giannis is the one carrying the team. Players like Middleton and other high-paid players on the team probably aren't contributing at the level expected of them.

I think Middleton tried his best, he had a good game, and he is going to the post in the last 3 minutes of the game and making it. However, when he missed that 3 point shot and then Giannis doesn't want to touch the ball because he is so tired, the Bucks didn't have someone to score. Lopez tried a 3, but he missed, Giannis tried to go in the paint, but the ball was stolen.

While the Pacers is making shots, playing good defense and that's why they outsmart the Bucks. I think I don't see the fire in the Bucks right now, it could be the new coach or the new players that needs some time to blend.

They can fix whatever problem they are facing now; their record is not bad, though. They win some and lose some; they just need some consistency. As for the roster, I think it's an improved roster. On the coaching side, that's something to consider since he is a new coach handling a strong team that is expected to be in the playoffs and a championship contender. The pressure is also very high on his side.
411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Holding for long might not be the best option. on: November 09, 2023, 01:55:32 PM
I buy and hold but never I say forever as it can be done when there is a good opportunity.

Indeed, it was not necessary to hold for many years but rather take the chance to sell if there was one. It definitely depends on our way of investing but I see that those who are very active in the market seem making a huge profit rather than those who are holding long-term. Besides, we can make a good play with the market volatility as even if the ATH doesn't come again, we have made money already.
412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin looking like sleeping gigant in this bull run season on: November 09, 2023, 01:25:29 PM
Ltc looking like sleeping gigant the price is Under 100$ definately cheap now people mis buy ltc because no body dont want miss the opportunity some experts Even say that LTC can Do 300% gain from here.
i think it's LTC time now in this crypto bull run season
For me, it was not a sleeping giant but that is really how LTC moves, it was not fast nor too slow, yet can still be trusted. However, it never gains too much interest because of its profit return making investors choose other altcoins. Though I see the long-term potential of Bitcoin, we need to be more practical these days as holding for many years with this project seems to be not a good idea either because, on the other side, we miss some opportunities with the other projects.
413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 09, 2023, 12:10:43 PM
I just checked the odds again. It's even +1300 here. Decent odds but knowing Kawhi's injury history in the last few years, it's a tough call. I'd rather pick the Warriors with the same odds.

The odds will probably change if the Clippers continue to struggle. It's the second game for Harden, and they're still losing. It might be a good thing if they keep losing for now, and hopefully, they'll find the chemistry they need as the regular season progresses. We can understand what the Clippers are going through right now; they've accommodated a star player, and chemistry is still a problem. In their game against the Nets, it seems like their issue might be with three-point shooting, which is pretty poor at just 22%. This is surprising considering that most of the starters are good three-point shooters, except for Westbrook.

Here are the stats for the three-point area:

PG: 2-10
Kawhi: 1-6
Harden: 2-5
Westbrook: 1-5

Additionally, if you look at the stats, their starters are playing huge minutes compared to the Net's starters.
414  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will it Hold? BTC Targets $40,000 on: November 08, 2023, 09:39:33 PM
No matter whether the price of Bitcoin will rise to $40k or fall back to $30k, I still holding because my target is the next ATH. In fact, if you are a true holder, it is not a question if we hold or not but if you are just a short-term investor, I'd still say, hold your Bitcoin and wait for the right time to sell.

We never know when it comes ($40k) but surely we will get there. But while seeing the price movement, it looks like we possibly reach this price before the year ends. Holders will somehow not worry about it as I was certain that our waiting was not in vain.
415  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Importance of emotion while trading on: November 08, 2023, 02:39:59 PM

I don't think emotions has any importance to benefit us as a trader in the market. Those that had been trading in the market that have problem of emotion easily create loses for themselves due to weak confidence to go on a trade they have finally analyzed. Emotion can make us to easily lose out on trades because of weakness to take trades, analyse the market and confidently trade in the market. Professional traders are always careful with their emotions so that it will not make them to take wrong trades or leave the market too early.
We can't rid of our emotions but we can control them and the best thing to deal with when it comes to trading or else, we lose.
Because we don't need to feel like a robot who has no feelings and emotions in order to succeed and I know these pro traders haven't done it. Well, the most important is that we manage to control it in the right way. In fact, it was not just our emotions that could be a reason for our losses and failures, it is also how we choose coins in trading and the platform we use.
416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how to start betting on sports? on: November 08, 2023, 12:11:34 PM
I not sure Al can give good predictions in sports betting and relying too much on Al is also not recommended because it can't give us more experience in predicting matches.
Maybe Al can help make it easier to have more information, but in making predictions you don't only need information.

I'm sure AI won't be able to help us win in sports betting. It's a prediction game, and statistics alone as a basis are not enough to win. There are plenty of factors to consider, and even the analysis of an AI may be wrong if it only gets information that is not updated. So, let's stop hoping it will help us win one day. All it can do is provide statistics; the crucial part, which is to analyze that information, should be done by sports handicappers, that's us.

It's unrealistic to believe that AI could help us win in gambling. AI could provides us information from the internet, but sports betting is gambling, and gambling is about prediction. This information is useless if we solely rely on it. Just because AI exists and it has made some of our tasks easier, we shouldn't think it can also make our job easier in gambling. No, that's not going to happen, even in the future.
417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You Tax Efficient With Your Gambling Habbits? on: November 08, 2023, 11:32:31 AM
It's our government, so it's our country, and therefore the tax that will be collected will be used for the improvement of the country if the government is not corrupt. Taxes nowadays come from different activities, and since gambling isn't a necessity, we can't complain if the government imposes an unjust taxation, in our view. We have no choice but to follow it, or we'll face the consequences.
But unfortunately, there are still many people from corrupt governments who use tax money for their own interests. Taxes are actually for the development and progress of the country but in practice, they are used by corrupt officials who have created problems in the country. Yes, we can't complain because the government controls its taxes, and even though we can protest against the government, it won't have much effect if the corrupt officials are not caught and punished.
Regardless of how they'll manage it, we are still obliged to pay taxes as that is the lifeblood of a country. The crucial thing here is choosing the right leader. If we don't want a corrupt one to run our nation, we should choose wisely. In our country, vote-buying is very rampant, and that's the root cause of corruption. Hopefully, it's not happening in other countries.

The only problem it would cause is that they won't be able to collect, as gamblers would eventually stop gambling since the taxation law is discouraging.
Gamblers will not stop gambling and even though tax laws are against it, gamblers can still gamble in secret. Moreover, the internet is now very advanced, which makes it easier for gamblers to gamble online. They can gamble as usual without any problems, especially as many of them are familiar with crypto, which can hide their identity.

Yes, they could do that, but it's too risky because if they get caught, they might face jail time. It's a decision to make on how far they're willing to take the risk.
418  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the right age for financial stability? on: November 07, 2023, 09:51:52 PM
Honestly, I'm actually quite bored of hearing the words 'I'm still young, why do I have to save, I have to enjoy life', to be honest, these words are trap sentences that always appear in the minds of young people, so I continue to emphasize that everyone should learn to invest from an early age, and don't refuse to feel the sensation. People who are used to managing their money well at a young age will definitely be successful people when they are old. Neglecting to manage finances is actually not an exact science, so it requires full patience to be able to master it and only time will tell.
It is very usual to hear those words because what is in their mind is to just enjoy themselves as they believe about YOLO.
Well, they have the right to choose what kind of life they have to be in the future and we know that those people who started building their finances earlier make a good fortune. Successful people sacrifice their happiness more often just for the sake make of making more money rather than making themselves too comfortable but yes, they end up getting more and have a very comfortable life when they are old.
419  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You Tax Efficient With Your Gambling Habbits? on: November 07, 2023, 03:28:51 PM
But the government could impose taxes on everyone, including gamblers, because the government wants to get additional income from what is in their country. But it would not be wise to apply it to everyone, even losing gamblers.

The government should think about what needs to be taxed so that it won't cause problems later.

The only problem it would cause is that they won't be able to collect, as gamblers would eventually stop gambling since the taxation law is discouraging.

EDIT: I know a little about cricket and football.
You already know a little about cricket and football. This is a good place to start. Maybe you should first pick cricket. The. Visit the good online casino that you already know, look at the games they have. Before then understand what bankroll management is, the understand things like betting odds, point spread, money line betting, over and under betting, bet size. Once you successfully grab these betting concepts you can bet on your first game with as little as $1 just to test the waters.

I think that's the very minimum size in most sports betting nowadays. It doesn't hurt a gambler's pocket, especially if they are just starting to explore sports betting. I remember when I was new to sports betting, the excitement was really high, even if I only bet a small amount of money. You know, the hunger to learn and the effort to analyze the bet can really add to the excitement. But I cannot deny as well that when I was still new, my journey wasn't good, as I had lots of losses compared to my wins, and sometimes I was undisciplined with bankroll management.
