581  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will $25,000 give way this time? on: August 25, 2023, 10:17:37 AM
See the price sticking up above $26,500 already so that is a good sign that the bulls are back and trying to defend our support and maybe we already forgotten who or what is the reason for the current declined to this price.

But any how, yeah, we still have a lot of time to accumulate bitcoin right now, $26.5 is still cheap in my opinion. And if we don't have the big capital to buy at this price, then it's not over yet. We still have the DCA that can help us to buy and accumulate over time.

The price of bitcoin is still too easy to fall due to panic and adjustments of traders' strategies. This makes me a bit pessimistic about being bullish in August, but I can expect a recovery or a sideway. Today bitcoin price was close to breaking $27k, but its value is too volatile after a few hours.

We're gaining back high slowly but yeah, it was still hard for Bitcoin to totally recover before the end of this month, I was just expecting to reach $27k. But it wasn't bad for me for at least we see that it never fall down below $25k as most of speculators think about. But still it was uncertain where it goes this week end as the price keeps moving up and down. However, I'm still okay and not worrying anything because I know this won't take so long but it goes on uptrend momentum when the halving is getting closer.
582  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: August 25, 2023, 09:30:09 AM
Meanwhile, Angola vs Italy is playing already, Angola had a strong start but Italy was able to take the lead now.

It's still a close game though so this is fun.  Smiley

We might witness an upset win by Angola here; Italy can't seem to dominate the game despite being the heavy favorites to win before the game. FIBA is usually quite predictable, though. Live betting is the best way to make money here, as it allows us to assess how the teams are playing. In this particular game, I took a +8.5 live bet, so hopefully, the game will remain close even if Angola doesn't win.
583  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Current scare affect the decision making of starters. on: August 24, 2023, 12:57:59 PM
I was expecting that to happen, in fact, even old timers are still in a panic situation - this is really how the dumps affect an individual's mindset. This really means that if you never know what the crypto space looks like and don't understand the volatile behavior of the market, I can assure you that everyone could be in this panic state.

That is why before we have to start investing in Bitcoin, we have to assure ourselves that we are ready to face the challenge and the consequences as it comes whether we like it or not. And the only thing we do is to become strong and have faith on our invested project.
584  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My dream is coming close. on: August 24, 2023, 12:32:43 PM
I hope you can quickly achieve your dream. some things so that we can properly achieve our dreams is by being focused and consistent. Many people out there want to get rich with bitcoin or altcoins, but they can't stand the existing FUD so they decide to sell the assets they own before their dream is achieved.
If you are really consistent with this, and continue to collect bitcoin little by little, then sooner or later, 1 bitcoin will be in the wallet that you have.
Honestly, IMO, investing in Bitcoins doesn't mean that we have to get 1BTC but at least having some of it is enough as we are not missing up on the opportunity. However, if we take this 1BTC us our main goal, there is no problem with that but the question is, and with the most common problem that holders face is when the price is dumped hard and then change their mind. Yes, usually they end up selling their Bitcoin not in a perfect time.

For me, it doesn't matter if I can't get 1BTC but with my buy low and sell high strategy, I could still earn more profit than holding until reaching 1BTC.
585  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sometimes the win is right in front of us-little tip to sport bettors on: August 24, 2023, 11:57:09 AM
I'm not sure what you're actually trying to tell us here. Is it the feature of that app which displays the team information or is it knowing who are the available players and learning their background?
Based on my understanding, I believe FlashScore offers data about specific teams, and this information can be employed to assess potential game outcomes against other teams. Various applications and websites are available for obtaining information such as statistics and recent match results.

In my case, I focus on basketball sports betting and utilize a different website than FlashScore; for FlashScore, I primarily check scores.

Here are the webistes I used.

586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: August 24, 2023, 10:39:48 AM
The FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 will be opening tomorrow. You can check the schedules on the link provided below:

https://www.fiba.basketball/basketballworldcup/2023/games

I have a question: Does anyone here know if there's a site that will stream all the games? Or is there a subscription similar to the NBA League Pass, so we can easily watch the games we'd like to see? Additionally, I've heard that some sites like Stake offer live streaming on their platform. Do they also cover this event?
587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Memecoins Vs legit Altcoins in 2023 on: August 23, 2023, 09:57:51 PM
maybe many developers are aware that many people are only concerned with chart movements without the need for clarity on the purpose of making these coins. people are just taking advantage of highly volatile price movements to make profits. In fact, coins that have become a scam and are still on the market are still one of the choices for people to buy and take advantage of price movements. So, I think a lot of random developers create meme coins to attract short term investors.

Perhaps, they already know about it and these developers see already their advantage as they have done the survey. But if they are good developers and want to help the crypto space grow, they will not do it and take advantage of the situation instead, they will create a project that would give benefits to the people/community as well, not a useless project. Unfortunately, these developers are too greedy and what is on their minds is the benefits of themselves, not for everyone. So being responsible investors, we also take our decisions and choose the right coins only.
588  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When Trading becomes Unfavourable on: August 23, 2023, 09:43:38 PM
You could classify those things with your emotions. And it's not a factor of what happens in the market but a factor where you are trying to make yourself vulnerable towards how you are going to react with the market. It's going to lead to unfavorable trading, but you can do something about it if you step away from the emotions itself. That's why I love bots so much because they are consistent with trading.
Well, bots are emotionless and they will take the job whatever the command, unlike us humans who could easily affected by whatever happen in the market. This is the advantage of using bots but for me, I'm still confident in myself and with the help of my experience, I could still manage myself and do it well.

However, there is no perfect trade in trading, mistakes are possible to happen but I don't blame that market volatility instead, I blame myself because I did it imperfectly.
589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 23, 2023, 12:59:11 PM
I don’t know how serious the trade scenario of Karl Anthony Towns for Damian Lillard was, but apparently it was serious enough for Portland to comment that they don’t want KAT. I’m a little surprised by that, as I don’t think they’re going to be able to get a better player for Dame, but maybe they just want lots of draft picks or something.

I would definitely say with him the trade is fair enough and they cannot ask for more unless the Timberwolves want to give some more just to get Dame. But the trade was off so probably they were just asking for more and an unreasonable price for Dame which didn't go right for both teams. Let's see what team will be interested in Dame this year will they be successfully traded him this time or they will be just like the Lakers who struggled to trade Russel Westbrook as well?

The trade offer was fair, but perhaps Portland does not need a big man as their superstar. And yes, it might be right that they want more players in exchange for Lillard, considering that they need a leader since the one they would be trading is the leader of the team. Lillard seems to be eager to leave the team already. I'm not sure how much longer Portland is going to wait before finally trading him. They need to understand that the longer they keep Lillard, the more their team will suffer.
590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: August 23, 2023, 11:59:20 AM
If what i've read is true then we have the Filas Final 12.

According to Homer Sayson, which he wrote on Spin.Ph, below is the Gilas 12.

PG: Thompson, K. Ravena
SG: Clarkson, Pogoy, Perez
SF: Ramos, Malonzo, Abando
PF: Edu, Aguilar
C: Sotto, Fajardo

So, Kieffer is included in the final 12 and Newsome was cut which i think is fair because K. Ravena has the experience advantage over Newsome for the PG spot but either one of them is deserving to be included in the final roster, its just that Gilas only needs 12 players and players will be cut in the pool.

What do you think of the final 12 guys?

I believe the decision was fair and square. At least Abando was included, so it's his time to shine. Newsome is a good defender, I guess, but in terms of offense, he isn't that consistent. So, it's just right that he wasn't included in the lineup. As for Ray Parks, he can now focus on his love life with Zeinab. LOL.
591  Economy / Speculation / Re: what a surprise dip on: August 22, 2023, 01:30:55 PM
Quote from: SmartGold01
What is possibly to happen in the market, more dip that's seeing below 20k or something similar?

I don't think, the price of Bitcoin will decrease more than $25,000 before it will start increasing to hit higher in the market for those that are still holding Bitcoin for bullish market to come, they will not miss their opportunity. This surprised decrease of the price of Bitcoin that just happened few days ago that made the price of Bitcoin to decrease from $29,000 to $25,000, show there is a hope for holders to smile before the end of this year because the green light is still displaying in the market to make holders to be bold that something positive will still happen. I believe this is the time to hold because this bearish market will not take a long time before it will turn to bullish market soon.
The decline had stopped at $26k, not far from $25k but I was on your side and also hoping that this will be the end of the price dump. Because in the moment that it drop below $25k, it created more panic and stress for those who just bought a while ago at $29k.
Though we can't set aside that possible decline but can't hide the fact that this is a little bit surprising because we thought that we are moving forward and surpassing $30. Unfortunately, we've got this opposite direction and made the community draw negative speculations and market views. Well, I hope that everyone can still hold their Bitcoin and remain strong.
592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: August 22, 2023, 12:44:22 PM
I think these bigs are enough to slow down KAT. They do not necessarily need to totally stop him. They just need to slow him down and force mistakes and awkward shots. Individually, they will not slow down KAT but if a system is in place to counter KAT, then there is a possibility they can contain him.

Against Canada and Spain, KAT had a good percentage on the field goal so the opponent forced him to give up the ball to his teammates particularly on the corner where we can afford them taking rather than KAT taking the 3's or driving down the lane which could cause foul trouble on our bigs especially Junemar whom i think is a bit slow to guard KAT.

I think we have the chance to win against DR if we can limit KAT's offensive output, let his teammates beat the Gilas not him terrorizing the paint and dominate the middle for that high percentage shots.
In my opinion, there should be 2 bigs playing together for Gilas. One to guard KAT, and the other one should be waiting in the paint. This way, if KAT slips past his primary defender, there's still a big man who could defend him. The only big man who could potentially limit KAT in the paint is JMF. So maybe JMF and Sotto, or JMF and Edu, will be playing together for a good combination.

However, this is just my opinion. KAT is an NBA-caliber player, and he likely has many skills that we may not have seen yet.
You could also consider adding Japeth; he is quicker than the other bigs. If he is at 100%, we can rely on his help to give KAT a hard time. I think the defense is more focused on KAT. I'm not sure if doubling him all the time would be a good solution, as this big man is also a good passer, with teammates who are strong attackers and some who are proficient 3-point shooters.

This is a challenging task for Coach Chot; hopefully, he'll amaze us.

BTW, Gilas lost to Mexico by 7 points, 84-77, Jordan Clarkson didn't play as he was rested but Gilas management assured fans that he is okay and good to go on the weekend.

Not so disappointing, in fact, by the looks of it, it seemed like we could really beat Mexico if Clarkson was present.

If Clarkson had played, there would have been a big chance for us to win. However, all of that is just speculation, as Mexico would surely make adjustments if an NBA player were to play. Nonetheless, it was still a good game for them. At least in the last two losses, we didn't look so mismatched.
593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crawford vs Canelo-Charlo winner (no date yet) on: August 22, 2023, 11:55:04 AM
In an interview on the Joe Rogan show, Terence Crawford expressed his desire to become a three-time undisputed champion and revealed his plan to move across three weight divisions to potentially face the victor of the Canelo vs Charlo bout. If this scenario indeed unfolds, I'm curious to know whom you're supporting to win. Please feel free to share your insights on this matter.

Well, Canelo are most likely going to win against Charlo, but who knows - so I'm still taking the scenario of Canelo vs Crawford lol.
The weight differences are the thing that could hold up this fight to happen though. Canelo needs to come down and Terrence needs to come up a huge weight, both are risky for them. It could be draining for Canelo and something for Crawford that would affect his body conditioning and performance. Though nothing is impossible if they agree at a catch weight just because the fans are craving for it, then I guess a massive money involvement could make things possible.

Canelo stresses that he can't no longer make weight below 168 lbs, so it's going to be in the ball on Crawford to go up in weight in 3 weight classes if he wanted to have a fight with Canelo.

And it was really Crawford who are going to test himself here, to be as great as Pacquiao. And I heard one boxing analyst says that if Crawford goes up and fight Canelo and beat him, he will be greater than Floyd but it is up for debate.

Crawford might be willing to take that risk and move up just to face Canelo. According to him, Canelo will likely beat Charlo, as Canelo is simply on a different level. So, he underestimates Charlo and considers himself a worthy opponent for Canelo. If Crawford is looking to add more achievements to his career, he would want to become undisputed once again by defeating Canelo. Based on records, there hasn't been a boxer who has beaten Canelo in his favored weight class.
594  Economy / Economics / Re: It ain't meant to be easy on: August 21, 2023, 10:43:51 PM
Life is just easy but we make it hard because we already overthink that success comes too fast which is why we worked hard, we wanted to make it happen right away and so we stressed our minds. But if we just let it comes to us without chasing it to happen instantly, I was sure that we're still good and healthy.

But this is really what we are, we consider life is a sort of competition like business and we need to be on top among others in order to become famous. It was too hard to change the way we see life and so we can see that everyone is aggressive to move forward and do everything just to reach their goal.
595  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I will pass KYC later is a bad idea on: August 21, 2023, 01:41:32 PM
It's not always the casinos fault, I know some are dubious but the thing is KYC verification is something you should first deal with before making your first deposit.

This is the right course of action if you're committed to your gambling activities. By submitting the KYC information and passing the verification process, you eliminate the possibility of the casino denying your requests or asking for additional requirements. Once you've completed the KYC process, they won't be able to use it as an excuse. It's a wise decision to undergo KYC as long as you're prepared to provide your complete information and have confidence in the gambling site's ability to maintain its confidentiality.
596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: August 18, 2023, 03:43:06 PM
Since there's no new update yet regarding the fight, let's discuss what Bob Arum said about his fighter Inoue, who he believes is probably better than Pacquiao.

What does he mean by that? Does he mean they have achieved more so far at the same age or division, or does he believe that Inoue would be able to surpass the success of Pacman? Many experts believe that there's a very slim chance that someone in the current generation would surpass what Pacman has achieved. So, if Inoue is special, he might be able to prove the experts wrong.

One advantage Inoue has over Pacman at the current age is that Inoue is still undefeated. However, if we compare the quality of opponents they have faced, I think Pacquiao has fought more challenging opponents than Inoue.
597  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Jermell Charlo - September 30th in Las Vegas on: August 18, 2023, 03:02:31 PM
Just interesting to hear though that Canelo knows that his critics is saying that he has lost some steps, and this fight will proved that he still has it, or just slipping away and might be the start of his downward path in boxing.

At least though he has recognized this and so he knows what are the stakes are, besides the belt and the money. The stakes is that this fight will be a good measuring stick for him and his team to see if he can still pull the trigger or score a knockout victory.

I wouldn't be overly concerned about Canelo in this fight, given that he's competing in his preferred weight class. Bookies seem to recognize his strong potential for victory, making him the clear favorite. Analyzing the betting odds, it's quite apparent that Canelo is highly likely to emerge as the winner.

Canelo Alvarez Vs Jermell Charlo Betting Odds

Quote
Fighter   Odds
Canelo Alvarez   -230
Jermell Charlo   +170

As both a fan and a bettor, I won't overcomplicate things. I'll simply look forward to enjoying the upcoming fight. Jermell Charlo undoubtedly poses a awesome challenge for Canelo. However, as I previously mentioned, my support is firmly behind Canelo for the win.
598  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 18, 2023, 02:04:13 PM
I don't what to speculate but it should be around the money I guess. Maybe he was promised to have a good money this season. But the owner turn his back on Harden.
Words are very powerful, and they should be honored. If James Harden is promised good money without conditions, then he is due for that. However, sometimes these businessmen are very clever; they tend to use their power to influence a player's decision but ultimately may not stand by their words. Nowadays, the system has already changed, as players can make demands. In the case of James Harden, being a superstar, I'm pretty sure he knows what he's doing. He understands that he won't lose his job, even if the 76ers decide to trade him, which they have refused to do until now.
599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has nothing to do with crime on: August 18, 2023, 10:30:25 AM
If you are a malicious person, you can use Bitcoin to commit crimes. This means that intent is one of the important things that determines the purpose of a tool. If you stick to the intended use of Bitcoin and adopt its philosophy you will understand the importance of monetary movements and transparency in the economy. In an environment where transparency is at the forefront, it will be very easy for you to be caught even if you are involved in crime.
Everyone has a smartphone these days and just because we have a smartphone, that doesn't make us guilty. What we use the phone for is the most important factor that determines the crime. Therefore you will not be committing a crime for using anything. What determines this is entirely your intention. Bitcoin has nothing to do with crime and is a revolutionary tool that will radically change humanity's relationship with money.
Yes, it depends on the person for whom it will be used. But it does, some people make use of this technology for illegalities which makes the name Bitcoin become a tool for crime.

These days, many scammers use Bitcoin to scam people and it eventually gains a negative impact and ruins the image of crypto. Many people got caught doing this and so we can't blame others to think that Bitcoin is scam stuff and increase crime because we know that it really happens. Which why the government is trying to control cryptocurrency in order to stop people from committing crimes using this.
600  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that you will be hold till next Bull Run on: August 17, 2023, 02:05:37 PM
ETH and BNB, are the altcoins that I have together with Bitcoin. I know there are a lot of potential altcoins, not to mention them all, but I'd think it was not necessary to have them all or many altcoins in order to earn a profit because having the two and investing more of them have no doubts that it gives you back during Bullrun. It was not the number of altcoins but the quantity we bought. I know that ETH and BNB could somewhat give a bigger chance to skyrocket during the bull season and most of all, I can manage my investment pretty well.
