741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which League Makes Sports Betting Easy to Win? on: June 09, 2023, 01:34:06 PM
I don't think there's any specific league that would guarantee easy wins in sports betting. Bookmakers are not foolish; they will not set odds or spreads that do not favor them. What I do know is that if you want to succeed in sports betting, you need to be consistent in predicting the correct outcomes. Additionally, it is crucial to know how to manage your bankroll effectively, as this is a long-term journey that requires patience.

On the other hand, is it time to bring back Tyler Herro?
That's a big question now, and it's likely the big surprise the Heat could provide if they bring back Tyler Herro. However, the question still remains: is he 100% healthy and capable of contributing his usual numbers before the injury? If he returns but struggles to make an adjustment, he may become a burden for the team, and it's more likely that the Heat will lose again.
I'm sure Coach Spoelstra will not allow him to become a burden to the team. If he does return, it doesn't necessarily mean he will stay longer if he is not delivering as expected. I would even be surprised if he gains plenty of minutes like he used to. It's the chemistry that matters now, and inserting Herro into the lineup is always a big risk. But, you know, as long as they know how to manage that risk, it's going to work.

I absolutely agree. At this moment it is all about risk versus reward. All they have to think about is that is it actually worth taking the risk. It is a big risk, to be honest. They will risk the team not having good chemistry. At least not at the best of what they can do. Herro is a good player. The thing is whatever they do they will have to decide fast. Because otherwise an already behind and the final will slip away from them. I also think that he should be playing, but if he is not doing good, then he should be taken off.

Stop speculating about his return as it was already reported that he's been ruled out in game 4.

Tyler Herro (hand) ruled out for Game 4

So it's the same lineup that played in Game 3. The Heat just need to make a big adjustment in how they play to have a chance for a win. There's a reason why they are just a slight underdog. If people really thought they would be dominated again, the spread would not be +3.5 only; it should be higher than that. But regardless, this is the NBA Finals, and every game is very important, especially for the team that is behind in the series.
743  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Does anyone still stores their crypto in any exchange on: June 09, 2023, 09:22:17 AM
Does anyone here still stores their crypto in exchanges?
Yes... There are persons that still store their crypto assets on exchanges and the reason could be that they're newbies and are ignorant of the fact exchanges are not the most effective way of storing crypto assets. Also, there are another set of persons that are not new to crypto but their business requires them to have a good amount of crypto assets on exchanges, I'm talking about the crypto traders. If peradventure the exchange crashes, their funds will be gone as well. The most effective method of storing crypto assets still remain using non custodial hardware wallets such as Trezor, ledger, ellipal, safepal etc.

Well, traders know what will be the consequences of storing a huge sum of money there but yes, they preferred to do that as it was necessary. But if the purpose is to just hold there, that was not a good idea and it was not recommended to all of us. "Not Your Keys, Not Your Coin" and we don't have to miss this thing otherwise, we let things get compromised. Because whatever happens to the exchanges, we can't assure to get back our money from them and what we just heard from them is a sort of promise yet they will never do it.
744  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The reason of why Bitcoin is good for trading (for me) on: June 08, 2023, 12:21:27 PM

Keep in mind I never learn about chart, candlestick, trend etc, all of my decision come from my mood and instinct. No stop limit, no follow any signal, no watching my PC for 24/7 etc, just directly buy and sell.

Nah, I've tried doing this but guess what, I ended up losing my $100 too fast than I can imagine. I realized that trading doesn't simply just work without these trading tools (chart, candle stick, analysis, etc). Though using our instinct is seem to help but not that we just rely on it because the result is too different compared to having those tools I've mentioned. No way we can survive trading and not gain success if we don't use them as it was been created to have positive trading results more than the usual thing we do.
745  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Also Girls Should Be Taught About Bitcoin on: June 08, 2023, 11:57:26 AM
there should be no difference between women and men in this case, anyone can learn and know bitcoin, because bitcoin belongs to everyone
indeed in the community mostly men dominate but behind the scenes there are many women who are involved in it
The opportunities offered in the crypto world are varied so everyone can enter
We all have fair opportunities in crypto but men usually make decisions more than women which is why we often see more investors are men. But of course, it was important also to let them know what is all about.

Learning about Bitcoin is not solely in the purpose to encourage them to invest but also to help them understand how it works and what it uses for. Because it was better to have a good understanding of Bitcoin and whether you are a male or female, we deserve to be taught and learn what is new in the community.
746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: June 08, 2023, 10:49:01 AM
What I'm trying to convey is that if Inoue can easily dominate Fulton, it suggests that he could potentially dominate the entire division without much difficulty.

We will find out if Inoue can truly dominate Fulton. It appears that Fulton is not afraid, as he has chosen to fight Inoue instead of moving up in weight class. I believe this will be an exciting fight, with some doubts about Inoue's power in the new division. It will be Inoue's responsibility to prove that he is still the same formidable fighter, and perhaps even better, in this new weight class.
747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 08, 2023, 03:37:32 AM
Game 4 will be 2 days from now. Will the Heat bounce back, or the Nuggets will continue their road win streak, and steal one again on the road.

The Nuggets made good adjustments in the game, utilizing their size advantage as they continue to struggle with their 3-point shooting. With a significant rebounding disparity, the Heat couldn't win the game if they were also struggling with their outside shots. We can expect the Miami Heat to make adjustments in Game 4 and strive to even the series once again. It was a great game by the Nuggets, and they deserved that big win without any excuses.
748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Are crypto faucets genuine and worth it? on: June 07, 2023, 09:24:46 PM
You'll be asking OP if it was worth it. I would say NO, it is a waste of time and many times I'm doing this, well, I get some but if you are considering your time as precious, you'll never see it was worth enough to spend with. Honestly, it will lose your bright day thinking of it and waiting for nothing. It is very simple, if you use your time wisely, better spend it learning to trade rather than finding faucets and joining airdrop in order to earn free coins. Don't get fool with that promises and convincing words as it was just on the paper, not the real thing to happen.
749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if they tried it on: June 07, 2023, 08:52:29 PM
What if the governments across the world attempted to seize all of your crypto assets like the US seized all gold from their citizens in the 1900s. Now I'm seeing articles talking about how the US government is trying to be able claim private property.

I think that ultimately this would be very challenging for any government to successfully accomplish. This would cause a revolutionary period again in our world I imagine....
Can you just stop imagining for once and come back to reality?🤣

Well firstly bitcoin is a decentralized digital asset and as such , no singular person has control over it and along as you don't give access to your possessions to anyone else, then you're truly in control of all the shits in there.

I don't see how possible  the government can seize the bitcoin possessions  of its citizens not in this century  man, we're in 21st century 🙄
They would dare and the worst they can do is impose some silly restrictions which they did and never worked for them and now I think they are secretly buying bitcoin to boast its economy and some countries  are already adopting  it nation wide.
Well, I say it was possible but very small chance to happen ( below 0.1%). That is why people never think that and ignore it (unlike OP) as we are confident that the government will even support the innovation rather than killing it. Because the reality that the government had also looking for a big change and great innovation that helps improve everyone's life and seeing crypto would be an opportunity. Only a foolish country will never do the adoption.
750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: June 07, 2023, 01:37:13 PM
I'm not sure what you meant by not everyone is happy for the Fulton vs Inoue fight. It's a great fight and maybe one of the most anticipated fight in the super bantamweight as Inoue is going up in weight and wanted to become a champion again. While Fulton wanted to stay his ground and proved that he is the king of this division.

He meant that the winner of the Fulton vs Inoue fight will be mandated to fight Tapales. There's no question that Fulton vs Inoue is a big fight, but this division is not a money-sucker yet. So, I'm sure if Inoue dominates this division, he will likely move up again.
751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 07, 2023, 12:42:22 PM
Also, they should let Tyler Herro play in game 3. I mean, he has been a good piece of the Heat franchise, I don't think he'll mess up with the Heat's momentum. If Herro is playing, the Nuggets will also have to adjust their game as he is an offensive threat.

Sure, a healthy Herro has good offensive skills, and the Heat clearly needs him, although we shouldn't expect him to be able to score 20-30 points in his first game back from injury. Moreover, it's worth noting that there's still no exact date for his return. As far as I know, Herro will definitely miss Game 3 as he still hasn't been cleared by the Heat's medical staff.

Herro does not want to disrupt the chemistry that the Heat have already built, so he himself is also doubtful about whether he will play despite being capable of doing so. It still depends on the outcome of tomorrow's game. If the Heat were to win, it would prove that they don't need Herro to secure a victory. Besides, the Heat already have a lot of shooters, and Robinson has been exceptional thus far.
752  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any point to start trading with 20$? on: June 06, 2023, 09:55:27 PM
It’s not a big amount but it’s simply what beginners only need so they can manage their losses if ever their trades become unsuccessful. And since they have less experiences with trading, then they should not jump into putting big amount of capital because that will only mean huge amount of losses as it’s rare to see newbies in trading ends a trade with a huge amount of profits.
indeed starting small will really help us to apply the strategies that have been learned in theory, so it remains only to practice and understand the difficulties encountered in the real market. not a few of us will experience a variety of new problems, especially with ourselves personally so struggling must be able to overcome them, and of course there will be many other new things. as time goes by, we will have a lot of experience and be smarter in trading, and I think the capital will increase by itself, so learning gradually will be better
But I'm not sure if that $20 is enough to learn more about trading or just it has gone in a few days.
Of course, I do believe that learning to trade is costly, you can't expect profit in your learning days but losses. This means that we have to commit mistakes first and lose some dollars in order to get the benefit we wanted. Because success doesn't come too easily, we have to get it with hard work and patience, and most of all, we have to spend some money on it.
753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Josh Taylor vs Teofimo Lopez on: June 06, 2023, 01:23:35 PM
Back to the Teo Lopez fight, i'm now putting some money on Taylor ML @1.56, though I believed that he will KO Lopezbut  I won't underestimate the latter as he might still stand after the bell of round 12 sounded  Grin.

For sentimental favorites, I will go with Josh Taylor to shut down that big mouth of Teo and bring his ass back to the ground. Yes, I will also wanted to see him getting knockout for good or a complete domination with by Josh.

The 1.56 moneyline odds are quite low. I initially thought that Taylor would only be a slight favorite, but with those odds, it makes me question if Lopez is just hyping things up to gain attention, while in reality, he isn't as good. Well, Josh Taylor has already proven that he owns this division, so Lopez shouldn't make excuses if he fails in this attempt. Anyway, good luck, guys. I feel that a KO win by Taylor is more appealing, though risky at the same time.
754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 06, 2023, 12:54:27 PM
Kyrie trying to get the Dallas mavericks to trade for LeBron is pretty crazy. Kyrie literally almost destroyed the Celtics, walked away from them to the Nets, which he destroyed the team. Then he goes to Dallas, tanks them so hard they miss the playoffs and his answer is to trade for LeBron who he left to prove he could win without… Good luck Kyrie.

Kyrie would like to destroy the Lakers too, LOL. I think LeBron will not leave LA. They had the chance, but they just fell short with newly formed teammates. However, I believe that next season, as long as Davis is healthy, they have a good chance of reaching the NBA Finals because their chemistry will improve. On the other hand, if Kyrie continues with his current behavior, I think there might be a conflict with Luka and fans would not be happy. It's Irving who is the problem here; he has the talent but lacks the right attitude to win.
755  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin for HODL on: June 05, 2023, 09:55:15 PM
If you're trying to use Bitcoin for long term holding, you need to buy a trusted hardware wallet or use a secure device as a cold storage. Despite electrum is trusted and open source, but you're use it as a hot wallet e.g. a daily driver device, your coins aren't safe.

Bitcoin is actually used as a currency based on the whitepaper, although it can be used to store a value too.
But as a starter, I don't recommend using an expensive wallet. In fact, thousands of people are using Electrum Wallet and have no problems with it. Because even using a hardware wallet can't assure 100% as it all depends on how they manage to access their wallet/funds. The best thing that OP must do is to keep everything in secret and never expose his wallet address to any platform as it gives interest to the hackers. Spreading it to another wallet address is one option as well.
756  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Failed DCA Strategy When Buying Bitcoin on: June 05, 2023, 09:30:32 PM

If this guy went out and stopped trading and took that big loss, then maybe he really did let go of the loss. But I think he just needs to change and plan a better strategy especially the potential for better bitcoin after the halving can be expected. Of course I don't think this guy has quit forever and tried something else, but maybe he's just waiting for the right moment to move on.
But with that long, I'm sure that person had already seen the best strategy. And yes, I don't think also that this person stopped but a possible scenario is that he/she moves all the funds to another wallet for the safe keep. Because I believe that this person knows what his/her doing and probably saved it waiting for the perfect time to sell and who knows, he/she is also waiting for the next bull run and selling all of it.

Experienced investors don't easily lose, that's what my take. And they will find the best way to survive, not by quitting.
757  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Earning online more preferable than offline? on: June 02, 2023, 10:02:12 AM
Earning money online is far superior to working at a physical establishment during the day. Although offline is highly appreciated and difficult. Trading is a great approach to find your true self. It will put everything to the test, including your greed, emotions, patience, discipline, how you handle failure, control, common sense, and resolve. I strongly advise anyone who is going through a terrible time in their life to learn to trade since it provides them a clear sense of purpose other than waiting for jobs. So, which is better, online or offline?
It’s undeniable how online jobs these days have become more profitable than offline jobs. However, when it comes to trading, though it can give us thousand folds of profits, but know that not everyone too is capable to trade and would make trading successful and profitable. Some just keep on losing and eventual quit in the end, the reason why trading cannot guarantee us with sustainable profits unlike offline jobs that really give fixed income at the end of the month.
I agree that trading never guarantees profit which is why it was not advisable to leave our offline job just for this. Because what we get from having an offline job is financial security as we have something to wait for at the end of the month while in trading, we have two possible things happen profit or loss. If we can manage to handle both online and offline jobs, that seems a great idea but if not, must have to consider where we think that can give us peace of mind.
758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: who Want To Bet On 2024 USA elections? on: June 02, 2023, 04:16:35 AM
Hey OP! I suggest that you create a poll listing the candidates who are likely to run for President in 2024. I don't follow the US elections closely, so it would be helpful for someone like me who is not very knowledgeable about the current happenings. Having a list of the candidates would give us an idea of who is running for president, and we can conduct further research on the new names that might appear.
759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 02, 2023, 03:27:03 AM
The game controlled in defense for Denver, controlled in attack, the coach gave him time to take a break, he woke up when he called timeout.  Cool

Jokic triple double, but in his words the key to Denver's dominance is having 4 of his teammates with double points.

No surprises, @1.30 turned out to be quite high Smiley Now Sunday's game I don't think it will be as easy as this for Denver, Heat will adjust their game and 2 days of rest will allow them to perform better.

With that, I believe the Heat will be able to keep the game close enough to cover the handicap given to them. As for Game 2's spread, with the Heat at +9, I think it's a good idea to take it early, as it already offers great value considering the perception of this series so far. I'm confident that despite the high spread, the majority of bettors will still take it, given the Nuggets' dominant performance in Game 1.
760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waiting patiently for the next bull run... on: June 01, 2023, 09:57:55 PM
There are two things I noticed on those altcoins you mentioned here, which will not allow me to invest on them because some researchers discovered something some months ago to give some reasons all those altcoins price will not pump higher soon apart from Ethereum and binance which is the best altcoins to embrace in this season. If you look at the position on those altcoins you mentioned are among other cryptocurrencies, you will come to discovered that their price is too low for such miracle to happen to those that will invest on them for profit purpose. I will advise you to invest little money on those altcoins and invest huge amount of money on Ethereum and binance because the price of Ethereum is about to hit $2000 which will be an opportunity for you to make a good profits.
Those coins are not worth enough to risk, really.
Might some people get their attention because of the hype in social media but not because of its potentiality? We can see its price surging high but for sure, drops are likely to happen after a few months making these investors regrets. If we are playing safe and looking for some assurance, meme coins aren't the best option to take. These coins have no market sustainability, unlike those projects that we know for a very long time like ETH. It actually got the attention but never I think I would invest in meme coins.
