541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin kwoledge is not complete without bitcoin investment on: September 15, 2023, 07:46:58 PM
Bitcoin knowledge is not only utilized through bitcoin investment. You can take part in any discussion about bitcoin because you know you have the advantage over others. You can be a bitcoin enthusiast and work like a bitcoin influencer or you can be a bitcoin ambassador that will promote bitcoin in your country. With that, your knowledge on bitcoin has always prove that you can be an instrument towards others to learn bitcoin as well. If you decide to invest in the future, that's already your individual's choice and decision.
542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Stevenson vs De Los Santos - Nov 16 on: September 15, 2023, 01:46:39 PM
I think ML will give us a not so very attractive odds.

It's not very attractive, as indicated by this site, https://www.proboxingodds.com/. Here are the betting odds:

Edwin Delos Santos +530
Shakur Stevenson -900

I wouldn't bet on the Moneyline with those odds. Risking $900 to win $100 is a significant gamble. Instead, I would wait for alternative markets on this fight. Maybe there are more attractive odds, although they might come with higher risk.
543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 15, 2023, 10:56:28 AM
Another possibility is if Giannis is willing to adjust with his salary for the sake of another title, which may be far from reality, it's more on
the money side and no longer on any pride or any title in my opinion.

But we never know if he can adjust or if Warriors are also interested in him. Maybe they will adjust or maybe they will be willing to pay
for it and also with the luxury tax obligation.

It will be tough, but we never know how or if it's possible if both camps will agree on something.

That could be another possibility, as Giannis has been very vocal about winning a championship again. With the huge amount he made during his contract with the Bucks, I think he is already satisfied. However, the feeling of retiring with multiple championships would place him in NBA history. I also believe that once he joins the Warriors, he can further improve his talent and perhaps easily win the Finals MVP every time they secure a championship.
544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: September 15, 2023, 10:27:05 AM
Following your argument, it's true that after Inoue unifies all the belt from the previous division and manages to un-strip the current
champ from this new division, he gains lots of hypes and confidence.

While with Casimero, after being un-strip due to regulation, he's still trying to find that momentum to earn the position of being a title challenger.

They've got different position as of now, and we don't know if Casimero will have that opportunity to meet Inoue inside the ring.

I'm following Casimero's YouTube vlog and it seems that he is just taunting Inoue to fight but he is not so keen if the fight will happen or not, I mean he also got his own fight and make money out of it, the Inoue fight will just be a bonus of his career if they meet one day in the square ring fighting.

Casimero is not getting younger but he has his own money-making schemes like endorsement deals and business outside of boxing so I think if he can't fight Inoue that would be okay for him.

If it were only about the money, he could earn a decent amount. However, as a boxer, it's about achieving something significant before retirement. Just imagine if he could beat Inoue; that would elevate his name to the ranks of the greatest boxers in the lower divisions and open up opportunities for even bigger fights. I believe that if Inoue agrees to fight Casimero, he might ask the promoter to include a rematch clause in case he loses, giving him a chance to reclaim his title.
545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What type of advice is worth giving such people? on: September 15, 2023, 06:24:47 AM
Can you keep buying bitcoin if you have already get hacked like twice or more in the past?

No, I don't do it anymore. Might there be something wrong that I did that cost of hacking my wallet and emptying it but this bad experience will affect our mindset which it lead to not making a wise decision, and possibly being hacked again. In this situation, I'd rather give up than take a risk again, and accept that Bitcoin investment is not meant for me.

Those who still can afford to lose more and believe that there is hope will have to continue. But of course, don't urge yourself to do it if there is doubt already in your mind otherwise this will lead to regrets.
546  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you had AI day trade bitcoin to make profits on: September 14, 2023, 11:09:36 AM
Many questions arise if AI is working efficiently in trading but no one will be able to answer them straight and say YES because, in the first place, it was not the AI itself but the program inside. AI already existed for quite a long already but it was created not for trading, therefore, is not really suitable use for trading.
However, I was waiting for someone who would show us some proof but for now, AI in trading is uncertain. I'd rather do it and use my personal knowledge than use this technology for a test.
547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Appromixly how much time needs to recover BNB $310 price on: September 14, 2023, 10:41:59 AM
Though for sure it will rise again in the next bull market the real question is when is the next bull run?
While waiting for this better to start buying now or do DCA because a lot of cheap coins in the market right now which many sees as an opportunity to hold and buy more. BNB is still a good one despite of their issues with SEC, I believe they will rise more especially if their case with SEC will be cancelled.

This question worries every investor. And we will find out the correct algorithm of actions in this situation much later. It is possible that someone has already sold and in the future he will have the opportunity to buy more BNB coins with the proceeds. And others will hold it until the very end, continuously watching how the balance in the wallet decreases.
Now, BNB holders are quite uncertain about their decision whether they hold or sell. Though the situation isn't quite looking bad but it still creates worries especially those who invest earlier and have no market experience. I'm not going to wonder if BNB holders are very concerned about the drops and not wonder why some are selling their coins already for diversification. As the situation creates more panic among the holders, the more it drives the price to drop and that will prolong the recovery.
548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: September 13, 2023, 01:21:50 PM
Oh that's good to hear that he has his own gym now, I mean that's how you give back to your community. Of course he can used it personally to train if he has incoming fights. But it will also give other younga and upcoming boxers to train there as it could have a good facility. Until those gym that Manny used when he was still in the beginning of his career. Although it could have help Filipino boxers to get used to obscured boxing arena's and fight, but still good if there will be some gyms that they can start with par with many gyms in the world. No odds yet though, so we will have to wait for a bit and see what options we had that will likely give us a good return or profits betting on John Riel Casimero here.

Yeah, the gym is very helpful for those youngsters who want to be boxers as they have now a facility where they can practice for free and if they are serious enough and become a prodigy then that could alleviate them from poverty as most of the kids that are training in Casimero's gym came from poor families. Good thing that Quadro Alas provided some of the kids that have potential the equipment like running shoes and shorts for training.

This is the kind of sport that we should also focus on, a sport in which we can dominate the world, similar to what Manny Pacquiao has achieved. I believe we have the talent, but we lack the necessary facilities. So, these popular boxers who are already earning a decent income are a blessing, especially if they are helping potential boxers in the future. Eventually, we will have a Filipino champion again, and I hope Casimero will be able to return to the top before announcing his retirement.

No question about the genuine intention to help young boxers; however, the lack of facilities is a significant hindrance, preventing some from pursuing their dreams. With this action, it will inspire the young ones to continue chasing their dreams. I believe that when more and more talents focus on boxing, we might see another Manny Pacquiao in the future.

To be honest, I want to see people united again while watching boxing. Right now, there hasn't been a popular boxer that most Filipinos follow every time he has a fight. It could be Casimero, but his character in the ring is not the same as Pacman's, so he does not easily gain support.
549  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should we rely on prediction? on: September 13, 2023, 11:57:22 AM
The market has a way of playing tricks on investor and traders but they hardly find it to be true, is just that they love the way the system is.
They can see the price of Bitcoin collapsing and they still have hope that in the next 2 days if I should say, that it will rise to the highest peak. And some crazy predictions has its parts to play and is some how confusing many or leading them wrong.
I can't really tell on my own if prediction has favoured many investors or traders in a long run, like they use each form of prediction to get something much profitable, like do they gain than loss?
That is why I don't believe someone who says that his/her prediction is working because the truth is that - is NEVER.
We can continue doing it (predictions) but not to the extent that we have to rely on it, we'd rather rely on what it should be on the market chart and make an analysis from that. The volatility of the market makes things hard for us to say what will happen next but guess what, We are still happy making predictions despite the fact that at the end of the day, we are all wrong. Indeed, the market these days seems not favorable to us.
550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: creating a token without money on: September 13, 2023, 11:26:32 AM
I couldn't really imagine doing that task without spending any amount. Although I don't try doing it but I know it needs some money to work. Why? You can't be all that free and ask all of your friends to lend their hands and offer free services to you. Maybe you can pay them small but not totally free.
But since you are asking about this, I encourage you to do it personally just for you to know if that went successfully or not. Because I was certain that nobody dared to try it because once you wanted to succeed, you also needed to spend more money on that.
551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins that you trust most on: September 12, 2023, 09:58:05 PM
There are thousands of altcoins in crypto market and each of coin has investors! Cause people have different choice from one to another.  People even invest in shitcoin to get rich quickly. So what are the names of your most 5 invested altcoins that you are holding or would like to invest soon?? Those are my choice
1. ETH
2. BNB
3. Arbitrum
4. Cake
5. ApeCoin
We don't need to trust altcoins almost, because none of the coins in altcoins section can be reliable according to my perception, the altcoins you can trust similarly with bitcoin is ethereum because it has come to stay and their is no level or gravity of bearish market that can make ethereum to die off the market, so therefore I believe that ethereum have same potential with bitcoin the way I'm seeing the ethereum, secondly, I will also said that BNB has undergoes many trials so therefore what you need to do is that you have make you that you have verify the potential of a coin before you can as well invest in any of them.
Yes, I would agree with that. Although the majority of the altcoins are worthless and shitcoins, still they're some that are profitable. I have ETH and BNB as well and I see it was enough. Sometimes I buy new projects but never I hold them long, I sell them right away when I gain some profit. In the current situation of the market, we should act smart and only hold coins that possess long-term profitability and can really be trusted.
552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: September 12, 2023, 01:15:38 PM
Casimero ML @ 1.10 is quite high and it's somehow unrealistic, so I don't think that the bookies will list it like that knowing Casimero's odds in his past fights are more than that even if the fight still looks the same just like this as Casimero still have the upper hand.

So yes, it's somewhere 1.30 to 1.40 in favor of Casimero. Those odds will be worth it already as I don't really see this Oguni as a threat in Casimero's streak. Aside from that, I'll be watching for some options while the fight is getting near.

I'm sure that as the fight goes near, there are many options/markets in the bookies and i'm contemplating on betting for Casimero to win by knockout as he is so serious now on his training and the good about his training is that he won't go anywhere else as he has built his own gym in his own backyard, this way he could save a lot of money and no more nightlife for sure.

Yeah, I saw that in socmed that he established his own gym, I'm in the impression that he will take things seriously and will try to hype his
name in this division, knowing that Inoue was already up.

If by chance that Inoue will give some time to stay even he managed to unify all the belts after the possible upcoming fight against Tapales, it would be
the best timing for Casimero in case fans will bring the talk using SocMed to make things possible between HIm and Inoue.

for now, let the fight roll and bring some decent profit to his fans. I mean Casimero needs to win, that's all!

Casimero and Inoue will likely win their respective fights, so it's okay to discuss in advance the possible future clash between Casimero and Inoue. It may not be a unification fight, but Inoue is staking his belt on his fight against Casimero because the latter is very unpredictable. He has been an underdog in the past and has surprised the champion, so I wouldn't be surprised if he beats Inoue, as he is a very capable boxer.
553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 12, 2023, 12:34:41 PM
Mandating players to have 65 out of 82 games doesn't look too harsh so I don't really see the issue. This will just force teams to have better player rotations and probably curb star player's ability to call the shots and rest whenever they wanted.
I think that's just fair because they are paid well, so they need to perform. If the team were to rest their star players just to minimize the risk of getting injured, it could be good for them, but that would sacrifice the fun of the sport, as fans are watching the game to see their favorite players, mostly the star/s of the team.

What I want to be clarified in the new rules is this part:
Quote
Teams must refrain from any long-term shutdown -- or near shutdown -- when a star player stops participating in games or plays in a materially reduced role in circumstances affecting the integrity of the game.
Like what's the "materially reduced role" mean in terms of minutes? I hope they don't mean it like star players just on the court doing basically nothing just so they can be considered as "playing".
There's a deep meaning in that. I believe it's about his impact on the team, and of course, that could include limited minutes. The less time he plays would result in less contribution to the team, and star players don't do that, as they have a significant role in helping the team win.
554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are trading bots worth using in the cryptocurrency trading? on: September 11, 2023, 09:58:24 PM
Recently, a lot of newbies asking if trading bots really work. I'm not going to wonder why but it looks like they are promoting their own project.
Although no proof that your project really works compared to other trading bots OP but people must be careful in dealing with this.
Trading bots on the other hand will work if that person knows well about trading. But if we ask if this will be working on newbies or just say beginners, I would say "never". For newbies, better to try doing an actual first because even if you lose at least you will be able to learn more as well rather than using these bots.
555  Economy / Economics / Re: Building wealth it's not just one time Luck on: September 11, 2023, 09:34:04 PM
I already know that using a $50 trading capital was impossible to make it $1,000 in just a few days but can possibly be made for years. And with that long, I'm not sure I still have the courage to trade with that amount, that seems too boring for sure. In this case, I wasn't thinking of becoming rich either.
Building wealth never happens too easily unless you are a rich person already but like me who doesn't have that much money to start, that might be just a dream as it only has less possibility to happen in real life.
556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 11, 2023, 12:44:39 PM
Yes, I can imagine the struggles of Steve Kerr and Erik Spoelstra calming down their young roster while at the same time establishing good chemistry in a short period of time. Maybe that young roster can win in a long season because they are young, athletic, and have the stamina but the FIBA World Cup is a few-week event so most of the athletes if not all are expected to play at their very best.

Lebron is trying to make history then if he is indeed playing in Paris. I also favor the USA to win but once again I won't be surprised if they will also fail since many countries are also stepping up which makes the event even more exciting.

They have lost in the FIBA World Cup and didn't even win a trophy or medals, so this Olympics will surely be taken seriously as they cannot afford to mess up. You know, when an NBA player is declared as MVP in the league, they used to call them the best player in the world, or if the team wins a championship, they call it the best team in the world. So, they really believe that they are the best in the world, which they should prove in the Olympics.
557  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading not for everyone! on: September 08, 2023, 01:57:22 PM
Yes traders need to learn market analysis and use different strategies to buy any crypto at low price and sell it instantly at high price. Not everyone can do this so not everyone is a trader. But it doesn't take much analysis to hold to invest because no matter how much the price of crypto falls, it recovers again.  So if you hold for a long time, there is very less chance of loss from there. But one thing to note in this case is that you cannot invest in sheet coins. Always focus on the top coins.
I think if a trader trades without understanding about crypto market he can never make profit. Always buy coins at low price and wait to sell at high price. If after investing in a coin the price of the coin goes down then that coin  Do not sell until its price recovers. If we understand a little bit about the crypto market, then we will have many benefits to trade. And while trading, we have to control greed. Due to excess greed, the invested money can be at risk.
Understanding a little bit is not just enough in trading but must become knowledgeable if you want to succeed. We can't just simply think that trading is an easy job but instead, consider this as too risky and hard. While people know the reality of trading, the more they urge themselves to learn more and take it seriously. That is why if we think that we can't do it right, we also don't need to push ourselves because, in the end, we are the ones who suffer losses and regrets. We must stop being jealous of others because they become successful, they are destined to become a trader.
558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run within Q4 of 2024? on: September 08, 2023, 01:39:43 PM
A lot of people might be following the circle of four years that makes 2025 the year for the next bull run. But I feel the bull run might be starting December 2023 all through 2024. There are a lot of indications pointing in that direction.
And I am one of those people who believe in it because that is what I experience. We might see the market will pump in Q4 but I don't think we have to call it bullish already. Because as what I understand bullish market is when all coins are pumping already, not just these know coins.
Quote
If you notice, recently some whales are already accumulating billions of dollars worth of Bitcoin. This is an indication of what is coming and how massive it will be. I will encourage everyone yo position for the bull run by buying at discount before the move start.
Me too as they are anticipating the coming bears and they are filling their bags to make it ready. This will tell something that whales are still proactive and taking the opportunity while it is cheap.
559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 08, 2023, 01:17:19 PM
A lot of talk about Christian Wood and I agree it is a good signing, but I still don’t think he starts or even replaces Rui when it comes to minutes. Rui had a great season last year and I think Christian Wood will likely get garbage minutes in comparison. I still say he’s an insurance policy in case Anthony Davis goes down.
I agree with you. The small contract may have been due to the fact that from the start Wood was not competing with Davis as a power forward, but as a backup. The presence of Wood will allow Davis to save playing minutes, in order to maintain his physical fitness throughout the season.
It would be worse if his purpose is to replace Davis if he goes down. I think it's better if he would get some minutes alongside Davis so that Davis's risk of getting injured will be reduced. Less minutes mean less risk. The Lakers can't afford to lose Davis. What would happen if Davis suffers a season-ending injury? Would Christian Wood be enough for the Lakers to still be considered a championship team? I believe prevention is always better, and they can start that by limiting Davis's playing time.
560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: September 08, 2023, 12:40:40 PM
Coming up next. The USA is a big favorite over Germany. An upset is not out of the table but I do hope we'll see an exciting game.

This is an interesting match up, but in their last game, I saw some problems from Germany, so I think they are not going to beat the USA. It will be USA vs. Serbia in the Finals, and Serbia will upset the USA to take the win. They have the consistency and great teamwork, so although Canada is full of NBA talents, they aren't strong enough to disrupt the great chemistry of Serbia.
