681  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My easy way to teach your kids bitcoin. on: July 24, 2023, 09:53:13 PM
Nice idea but I think like me, my own kids also have choices on the type of cartoon that interest them and I for one can't tell them to watch a particular type of cartoon during some specific time as you know they are still kids, I just let them go with what they love best and enjoy their young age. Kids are very delicate and I feel learning about Bitcoin in their young age isn't the right time but of course that's my own personal choice
yes, they will but at least giving them an idea about Bitcoin is not a bad thing to do, at least we are opening some ideas and new things to their mind who knows, they show some interest in it in the future. Because Teaching is not all about wanting them to invest but this is about letting them know the current situation and new technology that we have these days. And whether it was beneficial to them or not, they'll be the ones to decide someday.
682  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading as a newbie - advice? on: July 24, 2023, 09:41:01 PM
Perhaps, there are a lot of trading tutorials available but the problem is the application that we made. Most of the time we just read and then forget it during the actual trade and this is due to the changing behavior of the market plus our emotions. Learning the basics is enough to start but having a long trade experience is the key to success. So as newbies, we never have to expect success right away because it was totally impossible as we don't just know how to trade but also knowing how to control our emotions because this is a big factor that would affect our trades.
683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beterbiev Vs Smith AUG 19 2023 SATURDAY IBF / WBC / WBO LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT Title on: July 21, 2023, 03:37:13 PM
So now that Canelo Alvarez had signed a 3-fight deal with PBC, Bivol was hanging without an opponent. A pursuit of unifying the belt against the 3-belt holder Artur Beterbiev is in the picture but I wonder if both networks and promoters agree to a deal. But the longer this plays out, the more Beterbiev is disadvantaged due to his age so there is also the possibility that Top Rank and ESPN may not really want to match them unless Bivol can be signed by Top Rank.

DAZN and Eddie Hearn should let Bivol have a 1 or 2 fight deal under the exclusive rights of Top Rank and ESPN if they really want to happen it ASAP. The WBC is all about money so greedy Sulaiman can cancel or make an exemption on its nonsense ban on Russian fighters when given the right amount of cheque.

Well, to be honest, I pretty much hope that WBC will be bribed easily and that the right amount will do the trick to make the undisputed fight into reality before Beterbiev starts considering his retirement. I mean, the man is just a few years away from being a 40 years old and before his retirement phase, at least he can have that fight because it will be total waste if he will retire without having any chance of cementing his legacy.

If there will be no pressure from someone above, I think they can get the WBC's approval with the right figure since they are the only ones who are making a stand to stop the undisputed fight from happening. Other than that, both camps can begin their negotiation and it will be a smooth sailing discussion as long as Eddie Hearn will let Bob Arum to organize it as the latter have the right to demand because it is his boxer who got more belts to offer.

WBC should start to look on the bright side and just accept any offer that is presented on the horizon, there's no need for them to enforce these pressures because in the first place, these Russian boxers have nothing to do with what is happening up North, they are just a private individual who seeks a better future inside the boxing industry. It would be unfair if they will still enforce it these days as that's just like the same as racial profiling, sadly.

Bob Arum already said himself that the undisputed fight will not happen this year because WBC is still not inclined about it.
Link: https://www.boxingnews24.com/2023/06/dmitry-bivol-vs-artur-beterbiev-wont-happen-this-year-says-bob-arum/#:~:text=By%20Sean%20Jones%3A%20Top%20Rank,current%20ban%20on%20Russian%20athletes.

That is a sad news because we are hoping that somehow this year, they can make a slight negotiation about the said undisputed fight while also working their permit with WBC in the safe side. Among the four sanctioning bodies, only the WBC is making a stand and while the remaining three seems inclined towards the fight because it's a nice paycheck for them.
684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 21, 2023, 03:12:56 PM
Harden would be a better fit for the Clippers than John Wall was. I don’t think they could win a championship with him, but they’d get further than the first round of the playoffs. I think James Harden and Paul George could make for some great highlights as well. I consider them 2 of the most streetball like players currently playing in the NBA.

It's worth noting that Leonard will likely be fully recovered by training camp. With that in mind, I don't really see how Leonard, George, and Harden will play together in the starting lineup and how they will share the ball with each other. As for whether they can win a championship, I also doubt it. Championships are primarily won by teams with good chemistry, not by teams with a lot of all-star players.

If it's just training camp, of course they will have their full health but all of that will change once the season will commence and they will face other teams in the league. It will be more intense as the months goes by while the season is approaching to its end thus PG and Kawhi will need to keep up with the phase, which is not definite as of this moment if they can indeed finish the upcoming season with a statement. Also, I agree with you on that Harden part, it's hard to see him in the same roster. It won't work.
685  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to grow the bitcoin you have? on: July 21, 2023, 11:39:23 AM
At first, I'd tried after being encouraged while seeing many traders become rich through promotional ads and I did. Unfortunately, it never works on me, not really good and I stop trading. Now, I only just buy, hold, and sell - and I'd find myself it was less stressful and profitable, and besides, I'd never experience losses. That is why I suggest doing this but I can't be sure that it works for you then or you might be good at trading. If I were you, I tried several options available but must avoid illegal activities just to find out where you find yourselves growing and profiting.
686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy more ETH..... on: July 21, 2023, 11:13:22 AM

Ethereum is still at the $2000 level and you recommend Ethereum?, I think this is a bad idea,
because Ethereum is still at a high price with negative sentiment. I think we have to be smart and patient to wait for the bottom price of Ethereum,
maybe around $1000 and we can accumulate it, don't rush to buy Ethereum at the current price, because it is still very risky.
If you think it was not a smart idea, what do you think if the price of ETH will rise to $3k during Bullrun and missed it? Would you consider it a smart idea?
Everything in crypto is risky but choosing other altcoins over ETH is riskier than I can imagine. In fact, we know that ETH is one of the promising coins and it pumps during the bull season together with Bitcoin. So if you may think that buying today is risky and the price is high so you need to wait to dump before buying, then I would say that choose shitcoins instead as it was cheap.
687  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is more profiting self trade or AI on: July 20, 2023, 09:40:50 PM
Lately, there has been some development here in the integration of AI in trading on some stock assets and cryptocurrencies, and to a large instead, AI has ground in acting and executing trades and recording profits, but it has not been for long so as we can't tell what the success rate will be, but for the fact that the reality on the ground has shown and proven their existence in trading stock, so as that which one will you prefer if AI is proven to be effective.
Will you prefer to trade with AI or you prefer to do the trading yourself?
If that is PROVEN, then I would choose it as this could help us to maximize our time as this can work 24/7. While resting, someone does the job for us. Yet, it was just hearsay for now, I'd think there is a technology designed to perform such a task perfectly knowing that it was made and programmed by human beings. Because if does work great, it means that person is a good trader and predictor but of course, it won't as the market is unpredictable, and that is the reason that we can't just rely on AI to do trade. It looks more profitable if we did it personally than relying on them.
688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto betting on: July 20, 2023, 01:29:18 PM

And lastly, like you both have stated, if nothing worrisome is found on the Ann thread, the user can then proceed to checking the scam and accusation board for possible issues users had previously had with such casino and see how it was treated, i believe with this steps, any new gambler on this forum looking for a casino to play on will make the best decision in choosing a casino.

The ANN Thread is the easiest way to verify if a gambling site is legit or not. We are in a big community where lots of DT members are active; they won't allow the newbies to be misled. If a gambling site is shady, they'll tag it for awareness. And if we still miss that, then we should blame ourselves, as we have no room in gambling if we don't know how to choose a legit gambling site.
689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: July 20, 2023, 12:26:43 PM
That cake thing  Grin, I don't think that Fulton has any plan of eating that one to avoid something that might happen to him as he is not accustomed yet to Japanese cakes, he might get a stomach ache and the fight might be postponed again which we don't want that to happen.

Same here, I don't think that will create some drama as Fulton has the right to not eat the cake, that's not their costume anyway to bring some cakes to someone they don't know.

Five days more to go and we can see on who will fight Tapales for the unified belts.

He has to be careful as food poisoning could ruin his career. Currently being the champion, he must be confident in taking down Inoue or winning the fight via decision if that's his game plan. Fulton just needs to continue training and always be cautious to ensure that the fight will happen. We don't want to see food poisoning as the reason for the fight to be postponed again.
690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 20, 2023, 11:49:52 AM
I thought that there is a trade already involving James Harden.

Someone that I talk last night says that he is going to the Bucks in exchange of Holiday. But so far I can't find any news of it so maybe he is just playing with me. Nevertheless I'm going to see him tomorrow so I'm going to tell him that it's not true, Lol.

In any case though, do you guys think that it's a good trade for the Bucks to let go of Jrue to get Harden?

I am hearing that the only team he is actually interested in going to is the Clippers. I don't know if this news is 100% true. I think it can be a good trade for the Bucks to get Harden. Of course, they will let go of Jrue if they do that. But I still think that it might be a good idea. But there are a lot of news going around about Harden. I am just not sure about which news to trust to be honest.

Teams outside of the LA Clippers are reportedly not engaged with the Philadelphia 76ers
source: https://www.si.com/nba/clippers/news/new-update-on-james-harden-trade-saga

Holiday for Harden, that's a bad idea because Holiday plays at both ends of the floor, unlike Harden, who does not play good defense. When the Bucks won a championship, I believe Holiday was one of the big reasons why it happened. So, I don't think it's necessary to break up their lineup just because they had an early exit last playoffs. I believe it's part of the game, and they just have to continue developing their chemistry as they are still considered a championship team.
691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This time for meme coin? on: July 19, 2023, 10:01:59 PM
You probably know that almost all new meme projects are coming out now. Do you think it is really risky? what effect do you think this could have for the bull market!
Risky - that was absolutely right.
In fact, ever since we know that investing in meme coins is not a good idea. However, we can't change the fact as well that they are greatly profitable during its hype and so people got crazy participating it now. Yeah, I could say that 2023 is for meme coins, it gains more attention after the PEPE coin got shone up. Nevertheless, we couldn't say that this will last longer until the bull season comes because if that is so, then the impact is huge and it also drags other meme coins to pumps as well.
692  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation is making a mess of my savings. on: July 19, 2023, 09:47:38 PM

I Think it will be better for those who don't have enough income to enter into dual jobs at a same time so if one salary is not enough then other salary will easily manage one's needs. Getting job is also not easy so try to settle some business in such area where there will not such business present before so it will gives greater profit.
Perhaps, it was the time that we need to look for something that we can earn money in a legal way.  Our expenses are growing and it was hard if our income is still the same. We need to be smart now and work hard or else, we might fall into huge debt. We can do a side hustle to maximize our time and skills, there are a lot of opportunities around us and they are waiting for us. It is just a need for us to push ourselves, we can't be lazy this time as the situation is getting harder and harder.
693  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading tips that helpfull for beginners on: July 19, 2023, 09:23:53 PM
DEMO account - is good for beginners and I encourage newbies to do this and acquire ideas, knowledge, and skills that we can apply in actual trade, However, we can't expect that it gonna be the same experience in doing actual trade because this will include mix emotions that certainly affect our decision making in when to buy and when to sell. Therefore, if we are already good at using a demo account, we can't say that we are also good in the actual trading scenario as everything will change, yet we can still apply the learnings we have.
694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 18, 2023, 01:21:17 PM
Free agent center Omer Yurtseven has signed a $5.4 million contract with the Utah Jazz.
Omer Yurtseven previously played for the Miami Heat. He didn't get many chances to play for the Miami Heat. I hope he plays more for the Utah Jazz and proves himself.

These centers nowadays are having a hard time showcasing their skills due to some limited minutes to play and when they are not effective enough on the court, they will gonna be sitting on the bench for the rest of the games, and in the end, their stats will not improve and will end up getting their rank to decrease as well because there are no more numbers to add. He needs to go to the team that doesn't have enough Center or they will just be lucky when the star center of that team gets injured and that's when they have the chance to change the people's view on them.

Or maybe he doesn't fit with the Heat because they play small ball, and slower players are not given many minutes within their system. The Jazz might have recognized some good value in this player, as they are looking to add size to their team. Additionally, the contract isn't too large, so there should be enough room under the salary cap to acquire more skilled players in various positions.
695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight (july15,2023 on: July 18, 2023, 12:47:03 PM

Giving those live viewers a reason to watch them and have a closer look at the way they've fought. It's an opportunity for both Santiago
and Donaire to hype up their names, more chance to earn money if they earn the attention of more crowd/viewers.

No doubt, Donaire and Santiago would earn a larger sum of money by being the undercard fight for Spence vs Crawford. In terms of hype, Donaire is already well-known, so he only needs a bit more exposure. It's actually Santiago who will be presented with a great opportunity because if he wins this fight, promoting his next fight would not be difficult.

The changes made to the fight should be appreciated as the promoters simply aim to make it a more successful event.
696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Zhang Vs Joyce II WBO Interim World Heavyweight Championship on: July 18, 2023, 08:22:25 AM

He won't be an underdog because he won in their first fight. Although we may say that it's an upset win, the bookies had already adjusted for it since people already believe that Zhang is the real deal. Zhang is not fighting a fighter who has won a championship before, so that further solidifies why he is the favorite now.

And Zhang won it convincingly I used to believe that Joyce is ready to be a champion until he fought Zhang, Joyce is so good with his jabs when he fought Dubois but its nowhere to be seen when he fought Zhang he is intimidated by Zhang's punches.

If Zhang wins again he will become a serious threat to both Usyk and Fury but if Joyce wins I expect a third match to even the score unless Joyce wins by a knockout or stoppage if it's a decision the fans and Zhang will demand a third fight.

We are going to find out after this fight. Zhang's name has emerged seemingly out of nowhere because he wasn't as popular as Fury and Wilder. Now, he is already a champion and will attempt to prove that his first win was not merely due to luck. If he wins by knockout once again, I'm certain his name will generate a buzz in the heavyweight division, opening up significant opportunities for him in another championship fight.

Perhaps Zhang vs Usyk next, which would be enjoyable.
697  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hodling Bitcoin on: July 17, 2023, 07:53:14 PM

BTC is not meant to be hold in wallets like gold. It is basically a currency and should be used for transactions and trades.
However increasing demand with limited supply has made it's price soar to sky and many people fear that they might not be able to lay their hand again on BTC if they spend it now.

Once all BTC are mined and all of them reached to bitcoin holders wallet, people will eventually start spending them directly instead of first converting them to fiat.
Because what is in our mind that stops us from using it is we are focused on movable values which is an opportunity for us to earn. And another reason is that people are not preferred using this as a currency because it was not accepted yet in their local area. So instead of considering is as a currency, they'd rather consider this as an investment. They buy and hold, and later on, when the bull season comes they sell them. They'll see that it was an investment opportunity in general, not as a currency like fiat money that we use every day.
698  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can gambling and crypto trading be considered as skills with $10k gain a month? on: July 17, 2023, 07:17:08 PM
This is absolutely possible to achieve. In fact there are influencers and other categories in which people are earning more than 10k per month after they reach specific target audience. Some of the popular blogs even earn hundreds of thousand dollars with write up alone.

We are not talking about salaries but we are talking about gambling and trading which we don't need to gain more audience here but what we need is capital, knowledge, and skills.
While aiming to earn $10k monthly in this field is really uncertain and that is because we are can't guarantee that we always make good decisions and too lucky. But this is not actually why people got into trading or gambling, what is important for them is to earn a profit and it doesn't matter if they could get reach their target or not.
699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 14, 2023, 03:01:46 PM
Reports are coming out stating that James Harden is done in a Sixers uniform. Apparently he has had some disagreements with the GM of the Sixers and doesn’t want to play in Philly anymore. Shocker, Harden and Kyrie Irving can’t find places to be happy… People close to Harden are saying he has his heart set on playing for the Clippers this season.

This guy is just ridiculous.

He chose his player option to basically stay in Philly but now he hates it AGAIN and wants to go. He had the choice to become a free agent. These clowns are having contracts they signed. How dare them requested trade after trade. There should be a rule that teams may terminate contracts if players do that.

Players expect to get paid, so the team can expect performance and not some diva behaviour.  3 trade requests in 3 years, when will teams finally wake up and give him a minimum contract, he is not worth the trouble in my eyes.

Yes its the way their are, not matter what they claim their are, they dont have any modesty. They are 100% Ego, and they want like a crybaby all in the way they want, and if this its not happening they start to make this things.

Really sad to see so good players wasted for this behavior.

I guess that will happen once you are already seeing the horizon in the midst of the sundown of your career and yet, you still don't have any chip on your shoulder, so now, you will be moving as fast as possible because you just cannot feel that you can have what you want in your present team. But the thing is, not everyone is destined to be a champion even if you were once a monster in your younger years.

And that is what happening right now to James Harden, he just wanted Philly not because he see his chance to win the championship but because he just wanted a way out from the Nets, and now, he wanted to be in the right team that can provide him what he wanted. But I doubt that will happen though, he is becoming a liability instead of an asset.
700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: July 14, 2023, 02:20:57 PM
Of course, we may expect obstinate attitudes from English supporters, who are vehemently opposed to their players transferring to the Saudi team. It is obvious that Saudi Arabia is utilizing their resources to attract players here, not because these players want to participate, but because they are enticed by the huge payments on provide, which they are unwilling to turn down. Saudi Arabian league is growing more popular in the football world, and everything is moving at a breakneck pace. A lot has been accomplished by these clubs in a short period of time.

LOL.. can't do much if the European clubs and their supporters are feeling bitter. In the recent past there were several instances of the clubs deliberately insulting and intimidating some of the players. One example is the suspension handed down to Messi by Paris Saint-Germain after he visited Saudi Arabia. UEFA clubs want the players to dance as per the whims and fancies of the management. And that too after offering peanuts. The entry of Saudi money has changed the picture upside down and has offered more options to the players to chose from.

They just cannot deny the fact that the Saudi League is slowly taking their crown and tempting some good players to come to them as they can offer a much better paycheck compared to the European clubs that has been the choice for many players are they were the ones who can give a much competitive paycheck back at the day, but now, the situation is already different and I will not be surprised if Saudi League will boom up because of it. Money will always attract players and that is the reality that they cannot deny.
