Assuming you're just a node for each of them, what would it take in terms of bandwidth and memory requirements do you guys think?
Infinite. Because an infinite number of cryptocurrencies will be 'invented' - we get a new one every 2-3 days. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Hi John, not sure how I could sell via that Singapore exchange? Their FAQ says "You may withdraw to any Singapore Bank account.."
Which banks can i withdraw SGD to?
You may withdraw to any Singapore Bank account(You will need your Bank Code, Bank Branch Code, Bank Account number). Deposits(from)/Withdrawals(to) non-UOB accounts will take 3 business days due to the inefficiency of the banking system. Cash deposits to FYB should be credited within 24hrs.
Nothing there about withdrawing to Malaysian (or UK) banks?
DGTMKT seems more local but the pricing is somewhat silly.
How do you normally buy your coins, if you don't mind me asking?
Hmm...ninjaboon seems to have success sending/withdrawing funds from the exchange from the discussion here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=159907.0I'd guess PM'ing Nagato, the operator of FYB would be a good way here to get this clear. I usually just get my coins when I am overseas, and mined some when the difficulty was low enough with GPU's.

Hi!
Am I in time to buy some chips? How many will fit in a board?
Thanks!
I'm sorry, but you'll need to wait a bit to see if anyone reneges on their pledges here as it's currently filled. Whew - all updated. People in green are good to go.

Shipping from Avalon to OP is set.... the shipping from OP to you is not set. You will work out shipping to you later.
You are paying for...
1. Chips. 2. Shipping chips from Avalon to OP. 3. JohnK escrow fees. 4. OP's pain and suffering fees.
Later each person will arrange shipping with the Original Poster (OP).
When do you need our details OP?
Cool. I'd still like to pay for the remainder of that 80-something percent of a chip, though, if possible.
I assume the OP won't need our details until the entire order has been escrowed?
Yes, most probably until the order has been submitted to Avalon themselves. I'll PM those who're not paying yet, and probably give them a couple of days until they get kicked out and the order is once open again. OP, please pay too! ![Lips sealed](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/lipsrsealed.gif)

I want a better structured PM system though - I keep missing those PM's sometimes as I get around 20 every night. ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif)

Yay! *waves at John* So could I just walk into Maybank and hand over some cash, like the Moneygram thing, or do I need to use my wife's Maybank account? And is there any risk to her account in doing so? Could the people at dgtmkt.com take money from her account? Or not? And if selling or receiving bitcoins, is it just as easy to put money into her account? Sorry for all the silly questions ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) Just handing the money over the counter or even doing a bank-in at dgtmkt.com's bank will do. I understand that they accept everything from Maybank to RHB. If you're selling, you can use https://www.fybsg.com/ or even plain PayPal via people -to -people trades - it's much more easier to sell then to buy IMHO.

Ok, John is available as escrow for my auction, here the rules:
1. Winner sends BTC to the escrow address. 2. When I get the Avalon, I'll confirms to escrow and winner, and I will take photos/videos of unopened package. 3. I will pack the entire box (Avalon inside original packaging) in a new shipping box, taking care to not break the original packaging. 4. I will send the Avalon to winner. 5. Winner confirms to escrow 6. Escrow releases BTC to me.
NOTE:
A) Winner pay 2% fee for escrow B) I Will pay the ship cost C) If Avalon arrives damaged, buyer gets benefit of insurance D) If Avalon mines, but is damaged afterwards, buyer deals with Avalon directly
What if the winner claims he got some stones? It could be that, after you took the photos, took the avalon out and put bricks into. Thats why i meant that you you should send someone personally there. That is taking a video from it. Non deniable proof. And the cost for that are easily covered i guess. Would be safer for the buyer, that could bid than, and safe for you because you can proof that the machine reached. Only my thoughts... good luck with the auction! The C) clause covers that - an excerpt from a PM conversation with OP. Yes. Please take photos of the seal by Avalon and all evidence, and insure it for the amount - if it arrives empty at the buyer, he can claim insurance for with your evidence given. Please declare appropriately at the Post office for this. I understand many courier services will check the items to determine if you're shipping an empty box and claiming insurance.
Of course, the actual agreements will be far more extensive than this. I'm currently doing this for a few other #2 Avalon escrows too - shipping this all over the world for checking and resending will be really expensive, considering that there is a high chance that all three parties reside in different countries. Not to mention the hassle of going through customs, and the loss caused by the delay in shipping.

Thanks ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) FYBSG is Singapore; they haven't been part of Malaysia for decades ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) DGTMKT looks more interesting. I like that they were selling them when the price was $7... They're pricey though, currently showing 463 RM, which is about $151, while mt.gox is showing $127. Still, that's a lot better than the 35% "spread" when I bought and sold gold in Malaysia! Still looking for an answer regarding giving an exchange, any exchange, my bank details so they can pay out should I sell any BTC. Giving them that information doesn't allow them to take money, right? Just let's them put money INTO my account, not to take any out? A. You can send a bank transfer to Singapore pretty easily - indeed I know a few guys who have done that successfully. Maybank if I'm not wrong will do this easily. I'm in Malaysia currently too. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Um, how does that work? I thought strongcoin didn't control any private keys? How can the funds be "intercepted"? Regardless I'm glad graet has gotten a fraction of his money back. I can only assume you pulled on him the same trick he pulled on Ozcoin - hacking the JS you delivered to his browser? Just desserts I guess. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) This might be OT, but will this happen to regular users if strong coin is compromised? I just came to this thread after seeing this thread : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=184610.0

Well, you got a point there actually. What happened to this? : What is a hybrid wallet ? A hybrid wallet allows you to send and receive Bitcoins just like any other wallet. However, the Bitcoin private key which is required to send money is encrypted in your browser before it reaches our servers.
Therefore our servers only hold encrypted private keys and neither we nor anyone else can spend your Bitcoins. Only you.
Please do not use any online wallets if you value your coins. If strong coin.com was rooted, funds would be stolen easily from users despite that statement above.

So I know I can spend my Bitcoins on a few things - mainly drugs, dodgy porn, and then a few providers of relatively niche services. It's a start ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) But what can I spend Litecoins, Feathercoins and whatever other Jonny-come-lately-coins on? Anything? On more Bitcoins. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) Seriously, that's what I'm using (and probably most of us here) altcoins for.
