Beaflag,
How did you get such a great price on those quads? Do they have more available? I would love to get me some.
I ordered 4, make me an offer (it will have to be good cause I am really interested in mining with these lol) Nah, I don't think you ordered 4 from him... I don't have much to say here in this discussion except that I confirm most parts of the discussion up there is true. I personally got some ztex boards from the guy mentioned and they're hashing fine currently. I don't blame blackarrow here as frankly, some of us here do not trust even our government, and I'm just another guy on the Internet sporting a cute dog pic. That said, if I had to sign and send a physical contract every time in dealing with an 300~+ BTC tx, I'd be literally living in the post office - I released an average of 400-500 BTC each day in the past week alone. However, I still sign a GPG contract each and every time I conduct an escrow, be it 1 BTC or 1000 BTC.

I confirm that the OP has contacted me to be the escrow here. Please PM me when the sale is finalized so that I can issue the escrow contract here.

Escrowed a couple of tx's for OP, was quick and smooth.

John, you should look up the thread in the newbies section that has the same graphic. It's more up-to-date and has more detail. Also someone needs to do up a blurb on the Trust system that I only just noticed existed today, if it hasn't been done already.
Ah, will take a look to get the newer info in.

Nitpick: What do those shiny coins under my name mean?
Edited, thanks again.

Extended to PMs and many other boards (Trading discussion and subsections, Mining and subsections, Newbies, alt cryptocurrencies, and some local sections).
Awesome!

Hello, I'm here to ask your service in a identity verification. This is the case, I'm selling one of my BFL single's (SHA-256 of course) on ebay and I got an offer for almost $900 after just 1 hour of placing the auction. So, if I sell this thing at a high price I will need an exchange service PP => BTC and since this is a risky transaction and I'm guessing no one will want to exchange that amount unless they are sure I will not run away with the coins and make a charge-back after the transaction.
Is this a valid request?
Hmm... it could be a valid request but you're doing this the wrong way here. Best way would be to find a seller first, and see what he wants. Just drop me a PM if you need the escrow/identity stuff.

Funds released and confirmed via PM.
Thanks everyone for the successful deal.

Finally back. Gonna go around releasing escrows now, whew. Sorry for the delay, everyone.

Okay, please keep the CGMiner/BFG feud banter outside this thread. It's getting tedious seeing so many reports from here. I've split the off topic parts (and deleted a few which missed the split) to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=214823.0Thanks everyone.

I am using China Telecom's network, until now at least network traffic related to Bitcoin is OK.
Keep in mind that law in China works differently from that of West, in two ways:
1.Anything not explicitly permitted by law is technically prohibited; 2.No one will enforce the "not permitted yet not explicitly prohibited" part of the law until someone sees a chance to make money or directives are received from "relevant organs".(so yes we break laws everyday)
In this case, I guess it's China Telecom's management's own idea, not sure at which level the decision is made, but there must be some interest groups related to CT already feeling the threat of Bitcoin.
Well, I agree that this is true. One of the perks of being in a nanny-state I guess.

What does an alt of foofight mean? You're probably foofight according to IP logs etc.

PS: Stickied for uber-usefulness. Thanks again for taking the time to write this up!

Again: did you use escrow?
no offense, but isn't this only relevant if the chips haven't been ordered? If they've been ordered I assume John K has already had to forward the btc to Avalon, hence limited protection here. True. Hope at least you requested for his ID, etc. to be reviewed by mods. You simply do not give such amount of money to a random guy on the interwebz without having his info checked. It was my understanding that John K has all of ragingazn's verified personal info. I confirm this. Also, I've got a reply from him, and he states that he's been busy lately. I'll check the thread later to see if he's confirmed there.

Do you want to spam my inbox? How does that helps us?
He means a personalized email like John@bitcointalk.org , not the list of the emails of the forum members. (duh!)

Stairs are a bitch to navigate like this...
PS: I confirm he's arklan. Get well soon!

PS: I confirm that I'm doing the escrow for this transaction, thanks.

Ah, just saw this nifty addition. Guess I'm really slow sometimes.
