Of course you can run a casino without advertising it on Bitcointalk. However, when it comes to cryptocurrency casinos, Bitcointalk is by far the largest forum in the industry. Also, I believe that the cost of advertising here can be a lot less if we dedicate some of our own time.
Yes, even without forum advertising, you can operate a casino but the forum is one of the best ways to introduce and get exposure for a casino. That's why you see a lot of casinos are advertising through campaigns because it's lesser in cost and effective in the niche.

The exact target market is in here, you have bitvest and other crypto casinos. People in here are versed with cryptocurrencies and a mix of being a gambler so that's really effective marketing.

Hopefully, the owner is feeling well this year.
2422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is staking the way forward? on: January 02, 2022, 10:57:50 PM
Avoid those platforms that are offering a lot of it in APY or avoid the actual coin that's offering that much APY. It's too good to be true and they're the riskiest coins to stake. I'll go confident with those lower APYs as I stake than the highest because those projects are likely to exit eventually if they're not known.

But holding a coin that you don’t have plans to sell for a long time and earning percentage on them doesn’t seem like a bad idea to me.
Yes, it's not a bad idea.

I should have put those altcoins I've got in stake rather than held them for years.
2423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Top Cryptocurrencies for iGaming 2021 on: January 01, 2022, 11:20:15 PM
Dogecoin for me.

As it's spending like almost nothing because of its price. Unlike spending bitcoin and ethereum, bitcoin is precious to everybody while ethereum does have a lot of fees.

But that doesn't mean that I'll stop gambling with those two. Whatever is available that I'm going to gamble, I'll gamble with it.
2424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you buying in this market downturn? on: January 01, 2022, 10:17:10 PM
Bitcoin's still the best buy during this down time.

Everyone shouldn't be discouraged when they see bitcoin goes down. You have to realize that it's the reason most of your alts are down. And instead of piling up for more alts of yours, get the source and reason why the market goes down.

That's bitcoin.

Buy it and for the altcoins, solid ethereum it is.
Exactly. If you are aware already that bitcoin will not always stay in a high value, but it will also experience price dumps, then the current market condition should not bother you at all. Expect that the market will experience downturn which will even offer a great opportunity to start buying potential and strong coins that will always bounce back whenever its value dumps.

However, buying bitcoin, ethereum and BNB are definitely my target coins this time. They may be seen slow in progress but certainly the most profitable coins when they are seen reaching their new ATHs.
Your target coins are ideal for those that are asking what to buy.

The sense of buying bitcoin is because it's safe and it won't do a rug pull. This is the risk in the newer projects if you're too interested buying them. You'll never know what's going to happen next.

And the same goes for eth and bnb.
2425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TX Cost , fees and gas on: January 01, 2022, 09:20:35 PM
10-20$ for 1 transactiion fee, even if sending 1$ .
Yeah, this goes for erc20 transactions and that's why if you're going to transfer you better look for alternative transfers. If it's cheaper and supported in bep20 or bsc, choose it.

You have also the choice to convert into other altcoins that have their own network but don't ask that much fee. In bitcoin's case, usually, I'm paying $0.1 - $0.9 (highest) and around 10 sats/b for my transactions.

That's cheap for me.

I think the point of "creating jobs" as being a positive energy is not deep enough
with the raise of AI lots of jobs will be destroyed and new ones will be created

we don't simply need jobs if they are empty and have no meaning, finding purpose could go much deeper
That's really a valid point. With the technology that are innovating these days, a lot of jobs not only in the gambling sector are starting to become automated.

What it has to happen is what you've said, the purpose. A company can just dispose any of their employee at any time when they've successfully made a replacement of it when their AI is already and in effect.
2427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: mainstream media eager to announce Bitcoin dead on: December 31, 2021, 10:39:15 PM
why is mainstream media always used to perpetrate evils against oppositions.
It's like the usual market where there are people who opposes and hates. And it's like the celebrities and athletes that has haters and it will never be gone.

Possible is also that there are personalities, the real haters of bitcoin that are paying the media to cover whatever they say negatively about bitcoin.

You have to bear with it and just get used to it.

Bitcoin and ethereum will always be the best crypto coins and if we can buy them when the market is in downturn, that will create huge profits in time when they reach their new ATH. So bear season does not mean that we should be doing with nothing but definitely its the best time to accumulate potential coins when they are in their dip prices. But if you can add more potential altcoins to diversify your portfolio, that will be a lot better since you will be waiting for them to make profits when the market turns to bullish. As long as you are able to fit them in your budget and not to take loans from others, that will be a very good start.
The market has dropped lately and times like this are the best time to buy bitcoin. The new trend makes the new investors catching those projects that have already reached the top and hoping that they can get as much as they can because that's their investing technique.

Investing and choosing bitcoin and ethereum, these are slow steps but you're walking in a sure path that their value will grow continuously. Some days might be that bad and we'll see a huge drop but it only makes the market better and stronger.

Another biggest Multiplier win

Bet : 2 USD, Payout 6404.8 USD, Multiplier 3204.90x

Wow, what a way to welcome 2022.

Congratulations to the winner and he got that lot of multiplier. A very rare win and always good to see someone wins that amount.

Will there be another big multiplier win before this year ends? We still have 24 hours left until it's done.
2430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is the safest of the 'safest ways' to store Bitcoin? on: December 30, 2021, 10:52:03 PM
is there a safe way for us to stay safe from robbers when we have bitcoin assets on our smartphone, thank you
Remain low profile.

Don't talk with anyone about what you've been doing and if you have bitcoin. Although sometimes it's unavoidable when serious questions come to ask you what you've been doing and if you're into bitcoin.

As much as you can, remain low key and tell only it to the people whom you trust. There's the reminder even long before about the $5 wrench attack and that's one of the ways to avoid them.

I don't think that's part of marketing.

Marketing is about advertisement and they're making an advertisement to catch people's attention. About the disclaimer, I don't really see it as anything close to marketing.
I also doubt the intention was marketing but who knows? They are new and needs all the possible exposure they could get from different countries including the prohibited jurisdictions. They will most likely implement the restrictions later once they're satisfied with the site traffic and the number of players. I'm confident crypto casinos that we know to be big today started out like that as well.
They are new and usually, some mistakes are found the earliest by us and that's why it's not really part of marketing.

Like it's an honest mistake and it's not a big deal to think of. And as they start, we're seeing most of the feedback are positive and I think that's a good thing for them as the impression that people have seen to them were mostly good.
2433  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to understand the market in advance on: December 29, 2021, 10:49:06 PM
You can't really understand it in advance but it can give you a glimpse or possible ideas what will happen to the market and to do that you would either go along with the news and discussion and the most accurate one is the technical analysis but that doesn't mean that you would understand the market in advance.
You can understand it in advance and that's why we see those speculators and as well as those traders that are giving their analysis and thought about the market. By having that skill in the market which most traders have, knowing the market in advance is possible. You don't need complex understanding for having it because it's like having an intelligent guess or hypothesis.

It's really hard to understand the market situation and analyze it accurately.
But the thing is what you've said, everyone can understand what the market seems to have in advance but giving accurate details about it. It may go the x path based on your analysis but the actual, it go through the other path.
2434  Economy / Speculation / Re: Evaluate your Bitcoin for next year on: December 29, 2021, 08:29:50 PM
Just the continuation of the possibility that bitcoin will go $100k. That hope will never be gone and even though we've been at the peak, that's already given us the confidence that it will be up there soon.

Well, that expectation I guess will always be part of everyone's thought of bitcoin for each new year that is coming and passing by. And who knows what will be the next big mover by 2022.
2435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to staking EOS coins? on: December 29, 2021, 07:21:54 PM
Which coin is good for the staking?
https://coinmarketcap.com/view/staking/

Many on that list can be said as good staking coins. But as the usual, it's always better to rely on the top and on that list, ADA is top by its market cap.

But it doesn't mean the others are bad enough for you to think as staking coin.

Hello,
Thank you so much for the reply.
I can't see the Tron at https://coinmarketcap.com/view/staking/!
You can stake tron with these wallets that I know.

https://atomicwallet.io/staking

https://www.ledger.com/staking

But if you're going to stake it and you have the ledger wallet then that's the better choice than the other that I've mentioned.

It's not that much but it's still passive income.

I like the disclaimer clause upon visit on owl.games but everyone can just check it even if they're from countries that prohibits online gambling. It's better if they're automatically not accessible just like the other casinos that I've seen if they're from prohibited countries.

Honestly, I like the design theme of Owl.games.

It's part of the marketing why they did not make it not accessible to countries that they prohibited from playing, they want people to see the features and the design of their casinos so in case they have friends from countries that are allowed to play they can still recommend the casino because they know what it looks like they can read their TOS and of course, they can see it features.
Owl.games had a good design that you can differentiate from other casinos.
I don't think that's part of marketing.

Marketing is about advertisement and they're making an advertisement to catch people's attention. About the disclaimer, I don't really see it as anything close to marketing.

Their design, yes, unique IMO.

There are NFTs nowadays that can make your dreams come true, but at this point, a game created by Ubisoft with NFT, is my dream too.
As I know Ubisoft is a game maker from time to time, of course his credibility is not in doubt, I think they just need to link their games with NFT so the players get paid when they play it, I don't really understand how to make games pay us via NFT like today, but i hope Ubisoft will bring it soon.
Well, for the news about Ubisoft. I'm also waiting for the P2E game that they're developing.

But after hearing them that they'll be into NFTs as well, they're only putting into NFTs the game items and not the game as a whole. That's why I'm quite disappointed when I've heard the actual thing.

Anyway, still a good start for them since Ubisoft is one of the biggest names in the gaming scene.
2439  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 7 NFL Players Who Chose Crypto over Cash on: December 28, 2021, 11:46:09 AM
Interestingly, Brady has a partnership with FTX to promote the exchange, and he earns crypto through this along with equity in the company. Others similarly are incentivized by various companies.
It's a wise choice. I've seen celebrities that have chosen to be paid in the stocks and later on made a lot after years of holding it. This is the same as what he's doing.
Choosing up stocks does have a bit of assurance but speaking with crypto then probabilities is there but to mind off about price swings then they could possibly also earn less compared on what they do have saved.

Its really good to look at that players are getting some interest or have recognized crypto existence and just like on what you said that if they do have huge fan base then it would
add up on the exposure which we do all we need.

Recognition is getting bigger as we do go ahead.
I'll choose crypto than the stock if I'll be given an option but it depends to the company that have offered you to get paid in stocks so you have no option and you're working for them.

This is the current generation's wise choice for these people. Choosing to get paid in stocks/crypto as they're all set for the long term and don't mind to be patient and wait until it grows.
