1741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Millions are still been raised in this bear market on: August 05, 2022, 12:52:59 PM
Bear market is here but new NFT/Metaverse projects are raising millions of funds,
What are those projects that have raised millions despite that there's a little confidence these days for the NFT projects?

I think this is not bad news for the future of crypto and the next bull market might even be bigger than what we've seen before, what do you think? Are you excited for the future of crypto.
If this is for real, it's not really a bad news as these projects have been gathering millions despite that the interest is little today. The next bull run will surely be bigger than the last time and that's why we're all waiting for it.

But, not yet the time to see it. Maybe we need to wait for a year or two.
1742  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Btc not moving but we need every day some moves where the moves? on: August 04, 2022, 11:59:22 PM
You need pump as you say?

Go to the exchanges and trade and you'll have no control with pumps and dumps unless you're a whale and you're integrated with the other whales too.

I know that you know that the market is volatile and you can't force it to go according to what you like. It's not just going to happen even how hard you want and how hard you tell for it to pump.
He might be get used to into those low caps or shit coins who do make out some huge pumps or jumps into its price since we do know that these are the things that could really have those kind of behavior.

If you do find out that btc movement is boring or something that doesnt excite you then go ahead with low caps and try to play with its price movement but dont regret nor cry if you do find yourself get caught

with the dump and plummeting price considering that not all or almost of those coins turns out to be dead for a particular span of time and thats why majority doesnt really touch up these things.
There are traders that are impatient and that's why they're losing. Asking them with some actual experiences with gains and losses, they'll tell more about their losses and so do I.

If there's an urge to say that he wants to earn quickly and want to do it as soon as possible. He should do it on his own to see on how good he is as a trader.

Because the real traders won't have that attitude as they can adapt on any season of the market.

Brittney Griner has been judged into a 9-year prison in Russia.

WNBA star Brittney Griner sentenced to nine years in prison by Russian court

She said that what she did was an "honest mistake". The administration of Biden said and quoted on the article that they are still going to work for her release but is that even possible and will be allowed by the Russia government?

With the tension they've got right now, I don't think it will happen.

It has been said that there will be prisoner exchange, the Russian Arms dealer Viktor Bout.
In exchange for Griner and Whelan. Russia is also requesting another former colonel from the country's domestic spy agency.

https://edition.cnn.com/2022/07/29/politics/griner-whelan-russia-murderer-request/index.html

If both sides will agree fast with this exchange, Griner can go home soon.
But sometimes, it is the officials that are in charge here will lengthen the possibility of this situation happening.
If Biden gets a touch of it and really pursuing the exchange so that Griner will be released, he can expedite all of these transactions and have it as soon as possible.

Well, we shall the demand for each other and for sure there will like balling from both sides. But if the agreement won't go further and they're like demanding each other and they're not meeting at the middle, that's why I think it will not happen.

1745  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we at the bottom? no one knows, but market is doing fine. on: August 04, 2022, 06:37:56 PM
Do you see any good signal that we might get out of this mess? Bottom or not until these fundamental problems are solved I just can't see a bull market coming.
I don't have a clue.

But with the hope that everything is gonna be fine is what I've got. All of these things that are currently happening, I'm thinking that they shall pass anytime soon.

With those events that I think that won't impact that much for bitcoin since its volatility will have its effect whether we have those global issues or none.

Yeah, the market is fine as it was up from the likely of bottom that we've seen around $17k.
1746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Solana still a thing? on: August 04, 2022, 05:31:20 PM
It's probably too late to realize those words that you've said. When it has first got an outage, I guess everyone just thought that it's fairly okay and not that much to be worried of.

But with the most recent things that has happened. It has started to give doubt to those that are bag holders of it. And if they're firm holding this coin, that won't matter to them and will still believe on it.

I guess what makes them stick on it because of what it has built just like the few portions of success that ETH has got like in the NFT market.
1747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana is being attacked right now. The attack is on going. Beware! on: August 03, 2022, 11:48:56 PM
I think this isn't the first time they've received an attack. IIRC, it was a few months ago but it wasn't broadcasted a lot due to some reasons and they were able to contain it.

Those that own solana will now think of their decisino if it's still worth to hold it for long. I have no issues of holding it as they're one of the most successful projects in the market.

But with such news, it will change the game.
1748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to BTC if China attack on Taiwan? on: August 03, 2022, 08:58:16 PM
I think impact won't that be much.

I'm thinking about not just the war but as well as the start of the pandemic for which brought no impact to bitcoin but instead, the opposite positive it has brought.

I don't wish these to go further, the events such as pandemics, war and any other global issue. But IMO, sometimes btc is going along with the other traditional markets based on sentiments.
1749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is It For The Money Or For The Sport Or A Clear Exploitations on: August 03, 2022, 08:21:38 PM
That's part of their way to entertain and make money.

Whatever is going to be offered with huge pot, they'll take as long as they know what to do and it's not really a new thing. We've seen this type of entertainment very effective on the other internet sensations.

And why not the others shouldn't try it for their own sake and fame?

Will the bookies have this on the list if they're that not popular? I guess not but if they are popular, bookies will have it listed even it's an exhibition match.

I certainly agree. No matter how deep your faith is, and how knowledgable you are when it comes to mathematical thoery and algorithms, if you are not lucky in betting, your strategies will not work.
Well, someone who has faith and belief just rely on it for the sake of luck.

What you've said is true that it's all about the algorithm and math and statistics that will actually show when you gamble.

Anyone, even those who are not skilled or educated can get rich instantly if they're destined to be lucky.
That's true but this is only for gambling, you'll never know if you're the lucky person and you have to try it for the results to come out.
1752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how much would someone need in Crypto this bear run to become a millionaire? on: August 03, 2022, 01:15:57 PM
I think the most important if someone is investing in crypto is all about consistency. You'll get into being a millionaire if you're consistent in investing.

There's a need for you to realize that even you've got the calculations on how much you need to become a millionaire for you to invest, you need to remember that the crypto market has always been volatile.

1753  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Technical analysts be like.. on: August 02, 2022, 11:59:05 PM
I guess I got you libert19.  Tongue

That's usually what they say for their contents and telling things like this and that and in the end, it's gotta be that they're unsure of what they've said.

So, it's like, believe me or not, the market will go this and that's not an advise so brace yourselves as you are on your own and I've just broadcasted my opinion.
1754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 02, 2022, 11:01:49 PM
They were able to make that small lineup a success because that brings them another championship. yes, they suffer on the defense but they are moving the ball very well so their offense is exceptional. Only the Celtics were able to exploit them but the Warriors adjustment well and beat the Celtics successively to win the NBA championship.

I don't know if there's a team that could beat their style.
We will see it on for the next season.

Each team will always see the weakness of the other team and that's part of planning and playing. They'll have time to study the weakness of their strategies and remember the last championship were Boston has won the first game against GSW?

It seems easy for the first time yet GSW took time and then countered them on where they're good at. That's what they did and the next season, the other teams on the same conference would do the same thing as what they did.
1755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Macau's Casino Operation Continues Despite The Latest Outbreak on: August 02, 2022, 10:32:27 PM
No, I do not think the government of Macau made a mistake by making gambling their primary money spinner and income generator for their country. What else generate more income per square meter than gambling? It is only 115.3 km2 big and it has a total population of 682,300 people.  Roll Eyes

It has the nickname of "Las Vegas of Asia.".... so that makes them an ideal tourism destination for both Asian and Portuguese people.  Grin  The Covid pandemic has basically faded away in most countries now.... so it will recover now.  Wink

https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoinnect-brings-myriad-atms-to-hong-kong-and-macau   <=== I wonder if this has grown there?
They're recovering, sort of.

But with new threats of another disease like monkeypox, it isn't clear though for most countries. Everyone has to be aware and educated again on how to be protected.

Anyway, with basic protocols again, new diseases can be avoided but when things are lighter, it makes everyone confident and won't do the basic protocols that we used to do.
1756  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do real traders care about bear & bull market? on: August 02, 2022, 03:07:00 PM
Yes, the market situation matters to professional traders but they know how to deal with it. They take every market condition as an opportunity to make a profit since they know how to do their own technical analysis based on their knowledge. They're traders who don't focus on their losses but rather see more opportunities to recover them.
In every situation of the market, there's opportunity.

Most traders care for that but no matter what is the situation, if they're experienced and doing trading all of their lives, they can make things possible as it's their way of living.

That's why the pro traders, won't have any excuse for the market situation because they can make things matter in worse or in best.
1757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 31, 2022, 11:12:47 PM
It is terrible to learn Bill Russell passed away. If we need to feel any good about this, he came from nothing, lived 88 years, won 11 rings, he was there when Black people couldn't even eat in certain places, and lived through 2 terms of Obama being president, and he helped all the young kids that came in after him for 5 decades and he has fmvp named after him.

I know that it is always sad whenever one person passes away from this world, but if you were to ask someone if they would take his place? 99.999% of the population would say yes without a question, which tells me he lived a very filled life that was enjoyable and he passes away from that world knowing that he lived a great one that marked something major before he left it.
I have heard him before but I wasn't really a fan until I've heard his achievements and what he has got. He certainly is a legend and many have him inspired with his greatness and journey.

The whole NBA fandom is mourning every time a legend passes away, it's not just the fans but also the whole community and management. I guess 3-4 great generations of NBA that he has managed to go along with by my estimation or more than that.

Rest in peace, Bill!
1758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rise of Streamers in Online Gambling on: July 30, 2022, 10:07:12 PM
I am very sceptical when it comes to streamers from the gambling section. There are at any time quite a lot of people on twitch streaming and it seems they are much luckier than I am. I don't mind them winning large amounts, but somehow I always question myself if this is real. In the past I followed a few of the big poker streamers playing tournaments and noticed that there performance is not exceptional good. Sure they had some good days making decent money, there were also terrible days. In the end it seemed that a lot of the money they make comes twitch rather than gambling. It was more about their personality and engaging with the chat and viewers than about making money. That's why when I see large winnings from a streamer I worry about them having a promotion deal with the casino that gives them free money to gamble more reckless.
That question will never be gone if we keep on seeing them on a huge winning streak and spree. It's part of the business that they're promoting and not just about the results that they're showing.

It's like that where they are gambling, everyone, every viewer that they've got are also going to win big such as them. That's the mindset that they're trying to build.

So, if you think that you're not that gullible, it's always okay to question that on your mind and do some research for yourself if you want to.
1759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Gambling companies can get more users to deposit. on: July 28, 2022, 10:15:53 PM
I saw those issues with casinos that are untrustworthy. They really create issues for their winners to blockade the actual winnings.

But in most casinos, it's becoming a certain requirement if the winning amount is huge. They have it on their terms and conditions and you can't do anything with that if you're in that situation.

You have no option but just to comply. Because you just signed up for them and that's written on the rules that they can ask you that out of nowhere.
It is true that now it is almost a given that if you get a big win at any casino then you will have to go through KYC, however this is not entirely the fault of casinos, as we know governments are trying to put more restrictions on this market, and while you can avoid them if you use peer to peer services the moment you use a centralized service then you know that sooner or later you will be hit with a KYC request, I would like for things to be different but that is the reality we are facing now.
Yes, it is understandable that they're also required to do it when there's such money coming out from them and there could be relation to taxation if they're from the same country of operation. Needless to say, it's part of regulation and you being the owner of that money, you'll just have to silently follow what you've been asked.

It is the actual thing that's happening.

If you don't like that to happen, you'll have no idea when they will ask you for compliance. Thus, even for small wins or even just after your deposit, they could ask you KYC surprisingly.

Every customer has their concerns many people are adamant that they won't provide their KYC because they want their privacy.
On the other hand some people are open and they are very casual in dealing with KYC. Depends on the profile of the person too - they clearer the profile them more easy he will be in dealing.
It's the typical us that we don't want someone to conquer our privacy but you have to let down of that pride when your money is involved. You won't get it until you pass the requirements as they require you to comply for the KYC.

That's making us soft and we have no choice but to do it.

If you've got thousands of bucks left on that casino and you're being asked to do so, I think even a hundred, you don't want to slip that away and just ignore and go away without having it back.
