1821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Class in my Village High School on: July 03, 2022, 10:30:49 PM
It's cheerful to see that this is happening.

It should come from the syllabus of the school itself and as well as be part of their curriculum. But it seems that many schools are not yet ready for it and having that initiative is courageous and brave.

In due time, you and your school will see the effect that you've done to these students. Especially those that will take it seriously.
1822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Flow Token on: July 03, 2022, 09:31:55 PM
You don't have to be surprised.

Most of the altcoins right now are heavily "punished" because we're in a common bear market. Bitcoin drops too much and everything is affected and that has included FLOW token.

Despite with good proposals and executions, nothing can really beat when bitcoin goes ahead of the drop and the entire market is going through a bear.

Last conversation was 12 hours ago and when I was told to request the $6000 it was 24 hours before that. So total 36 hours as elapsed. They work at a different time zone CET I believe so I litterally have to be up at 1-2 am my time just to speak to Sofia. The reason I posted now is cause it’s night time for them and their “teams” are done for the day. So it’s gonna take a further 12 hours at least.  Last convo with Sofia 12 hours ago was just me saying I haven’t received the $6000 yet nor got an email from the manager. She said she would ping them again and that was the end of the convo. Further contacts of live support recently to try and talk to Sofia I’m being told she’s not available. They have a 24/7 live support but that’s the only thing that’s 24/7 and their normal support doesn’t have the power to do anything. TBH their customer support isn’t the best and their email support is even worse
I'm sorry that it's taking you too long but usually, the active live chat supports are limited when it comes to their powers and they can only report it to the higher ups.

But your case is already there and should have been done and processed already. Whatever is taking them long with the confirmation and release of your withdrawal, it's their problem and it's not odd because I've seen some casinos that has also done this.

I hope that your wait will be worth it and it's going to be released soon.

~snip~
Jordan poole and Andrew Wiggins is a good tandem for the warriors even though they don't have curry and Thompson in the floor but still they have a good defender and also scorer which is Wiggins can scored will and poole will help him. Of this lineup are still next season for sure a big chance of winning are there. If they want to stay in the warriors as long as they give their best on every match for sure that they can stay on the team when ever they want to stay.
It's not them to decide if they want to stay with the Warriors.

But it's the Warriors management to decide and it has been decided that they'll stay because it's said that they'll get a priority of staying and the management will spent a lot for them to stay.

That's why most of us are excited to see how they'll do with the next season because we'll still see Wiggins and Poole with Steph, Klay and Dray.
1827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 29, 2022, 02:50:03 PM

I think it's all set that they'll be giving Poole a 4-years contract for $100-M. That's the latest that I've read but that's not detailed at all and just shown the numbers and such.

I think Jordan Poole has the best highlights in his NBA Career I think he will still give another shot next season with the Warriors even though the Warriors are just giving them a little hefty sum I think it is still an increase, and the Warriors are not rushing in with Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole to sign their respective contracts I think they know that Wiggins and Poole have a good start with their Careers with the Warriors so they will still be stay at least next season, or they can stay forever if they like,
If they will still be good for this upcoming season, maybe the Warriors would consider them to be just like Steph and Klay to stay with them as much as they want but it won't be that exclusive just like these two have. But that's still a good deal for them, right?

Yes, they're not just doing it because the fans want so but they've seen the whole potential of the roster with these two and that's why they're not going to let go of them will try everything they can to keep them.

On my thought I think they surely showed what they really got in the last matches of the NBA, now many teams have really know their potential and what are they capable of, I really wish they can still upgrade in terms of their skill next season,
Well, there's now much expectation on them and I think they'll level up their performance for the upcoming season and there will be now more fans on them thinking that they'll be playing again for each game at their best.
1828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Bitcoin Disappointed You ? on: June 29, 2022, 01:04:38 PM
there is no need to be disappointed with bitcoin, because when the bullish season comes I always sell some of it, although a small part is still left until it is in the bearish season, then my job is just to hold it and buy it again using the profits from previous sales, and of course I enjoy some of the results profit is to reward yourself. therefore keep us from being greedy so that it brings us to panic when the dump occurs
Yeah, there's no need for us to worry.

If we've seen $69k and we saw that there's a sudden plummet and it became $17k to $19k, what's with that? We saw the price moving up fast and then we'll not welcome the quick correction?

We should be open onto those things especially if the price pump is too quick. It's scary but that's the reality that when we see a quick skyrocket, we should expect the entire opposite of it.
1829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 28, 2022, 10:05:33 PM
I guess if that news is the actual of what they've said, they'll keep both of them and they'll flow cash to them and it won't matter as they'll try to reach another ring with the same roster plus some drafted players.
I wish it's as simple as splurging money. Doing everything to keep them both doesn't really mean 'everything'. The amount of the contract each player's agent will demand from GSW management would matter because each team has limits as to how much they could spend every season. Apart from limited resources, we have to remember about salary cap and luxury tax levels. GSW also have to take into consideration the other contracts that will expire beyond 2022-2024 season.
I think it's all set that they'll be giving Poole a 4-years contract for $100-M. That's the latest that I've read but that's not detailed at all and just shown the numbers and such.

That is how the owners sound during the interview in the last part of their parade.
They are sure they want to keep them all even if it means they will spend a lot of money. This will be the biggest luxury tax ever in the league if ever it will be set in stone.
I am sure the roster deserves it as they worked hard for that championship even though they are not on the top of the list of every basketball analyst to be the champion this year. I am also part of those people who didn't expect it. It will be sweeter if they can make another one happen.
Yes, they're not just doing it because the fans want so but they've seen the whole potential of the roster with these two and that's why they're not going to let go of them will try everything they can to keep them.
1830  Economy / Economics / Re: How would a global economic recession affect Bitcoin's price? on: June 28, 2022, 09:08:45 PM
Whatever happens, plan yourself on how long you're willing to stay holding bitcoin. Long term is still the best decision while holding it just to avoid being worried with the current world events.

Also, there's the China-Taiwan tension and that's also something that we don't want to happen and sure the economy of most countries ties to the both of it will definitely be affected too.

Only the strongest will be able to "hodl" Bitcoin long-term. I usually "hodl" BTC no matter what. But not everyone has the guts to do it. When prices are falling at a fast pace, the first thing that comes into mind is to sell BTC to avoid losing all your money in an instant. This usually happens when you don't have the extra money to spare into Bitcoin. Imagine how negative the effects over Bitcoin's price will be once we enter a global economic recession. Most people will be so scared of investing into Bitcoin, that they will prefer Gold instead. There's also the issue of China's (likely) invasion of Taiwan, which could be a severe blow to both the world's economy and Bitcoin's price. I would proceed with caution until the mainstream economy shows signs of recovery. Just my thoughts Grin
Yes, I've witnessed people that have said they'll be holding for long but it didn't happen and they have to dump it because of some circumstances that they have faced in real life.

Any war can trigger economic down fall, it's like a domino effect and even we're not entirely related to the two countries that are in quarrel, there will surely be a heavy blow worldwide.
1831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is it so hard to win at gambling? on: June 28, 2022, 08:07:34 PM
Very simple answer to this question. If winning in gambling was too much easy then every gambler would have been a millionaire and all the casino would be bankrupt.

When you lose in gambling, it's the casino that gets your money. When you win in gambling, you get the casino's money. So if the gamblers win often then these casinos will be shut down as it will not be profitable for them to run this business.
And that's the reason why many casinos have became popular and keeps on operating, because that they've been winning against the players.

There are players that are winning against the casino and also making a fortune but, these are the very lucky players and the skilled ones.

Most of them are lucky if they've been playing those luck-based games and at the same time, they're combining it on how skilled and good they are.
1832  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the golden rule of investment? on: June 28, 2022, 12:51:37 PM
Before we invest, of course we have to be dyor, all investments that have the opportunity for big profits, then automatically have a high risk, cryptocurrencies are very difficult to guess, and what I have experienced since I invest from 2016 sometimes laugh and sometimes cry.
There are actually a lot of "golden rules" for investing. Whether you're a newbie or not, these are the few that I think should be remembered.

1. Never invest with others money if you're unsure of what you'll do.

2. Test the waters and assess the risk.

3. Invest only to the investments that you know.

4. Keep learning not just only from your experiences but also with others.
1833  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: waiting to buy lower? on: June 28, 2022, 10:27:52 AM
People are waiting to buy lower, but what if you're wrong and this is the bottom?
It's okay, I've got myself fine and got already the opportunity when it was low. No regrets as long as I've got a few since the situation that I'm in a really needy for some budgeting and personal expenses.

You never know what's going to happen next.
Yes, it's always the actual case.

We don't know what will happen next. It could be the reversal up to the moon or we'll still have a lower low that made us believed that we're already out of it.
1834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA draft on: June 27, 2022, 11:14:05 PM
Should I keep this thread open to talk specifically about the draft or the newly drafted players?  Don't want to keep it open if no one wants to discuss the draft.  Thoughts?
I think it's okay to keep it open for both topics.

There has been undrafted players but they got a two-way contract so this thread still fits them perfectly and of course, to those that has been drafted.

There's not that much attention for this year's draft but I think we just need to keep on discussing about them and the potentials of the draftees. The media hype isn't that much for them.
1835  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Coupling-Is BTC just the SP500 with more steps? on: June 27, 2022, 10:11:27 PM
Excited to see one day when btc has its own behavior, what that would look like
I think that it will really take a long time until we see its own behavior. The movement that it does is somehow always comparative to the traditional.

Yes, soon it will have its own behavior because of the mechanism and own feature that it has like halving. While the traditional market, don't have that type of feature just like bitcoin. It will be a factor that it will have its own run and behavior in the future.

But, there will always be the comparison no matter what or even it happens.
1836  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Alt coins are About to pump again! on: June 27, 2022, 09:13:28 PM
The volatility of altcoins is too high these days so there will be small pumps but would dump again later on. There are still lots of global economic issues that we're facing nowadays that pull down the price of altcoins so we can't expect the market to recover soon.
It's the same for bitcoin.

They're all going to have the same boat as bitcoin's. And right now, bitcoin has dumped again to $20k line and that has made the market bleeding again for most of the alts.

I guess it could still take a little time so we still need more patience.
We're used to being patient and as a holder, you know that it's all worth it whenever the right time comes and you're still holding then. It's all because that the patient people in the market always profits but still, depending on what you hold.
1837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 27, 2022, 10:55:51 AM
I saw the news from the GSW management that they'll do everything just to keep Poole and Wiggins. This is a nice step because we've seen how these two added great contribution to the team.

As said, it is what they're prioritizing right now so these two can count on the management and they'll be kept for their upcoming contracts. This is a huge contract for the two and I've forgot the other one which if we will combine the three of them, GSW will cost them $500M+.

Yes, they have built another championship caliber, they are called the "death squad' now, with the core + Wiggins and Poole. However, they will be over, and with the huge spending, so not sure how they can keep up with that.
They've got budget for it so, I guess that's how they're going to keep it up and figure it out. They want to hit the ring again for the next season and that's why they have to pull out cash to retain these two.

Scottie Pippen Proud Of Son Scotty Pippen Jr. After Signing Two-Way Contract With Lakers.

So second generation of Pippen coming into the Lakers next season. So we will see how good the kid is compare to his father.
Congratulations to him, I saw him undrafted but I guess this is what the plan was. How about Harper Jr., where he's going or did a team signed him two way contract?

That's going o be hard if agents of both players tries to push the envelope. If that happens, GSW will probably choose to keep Poole and let Wiggins go.

At the end of the day, it depends on the priority of the players (another ring or big payday). They already have the ring that only a handful will achieve in their career and they can choose to chase max contracts in other teams now if GSW couldn't convince them to take less.
I guess if that news is the actual of what they've said, they'll keep both of them and they'll flow cash to them and it won't matter as they'll try to reach another ring with the same roster plus some drafted players.

1839  Economy / Economics / Re: How would a global economic recession affect Bitcoin's price? on: June 27, 2022, 03:28:04 AM
There have been talks among experts of a global economic recession taking place soon.
Isn't it occurring as we talk?

The COVID-19 pandemic, the persisting Russia-Ukraine crisis, and several other factors will lead us there faster than you could imagine. Considering that the US Dollar is the world's reserve currency, anything that affects its value (inflation) will have a chain effect over other countries' economies as well. Now this could have profound effects over Bitcoin's price within the short term, as the crypto market "mimics" equity/stocks market's behavior. It's most probably Bitcoin will decline well below $10k, as the global economy comes to a halt. Or things could head in the other direction, leading Bitcoin towards new All-time-highs. The pioneer cryptocurrency has often been hailed as a "safe haven", so it should be able to serve as an alternative to Fiat during times of crisis.

What are your thoughts? Huh

1840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does bitcoin dump have any impact on gamblers ? on: June 26, 2022, 09:58:31 PM
Gambling will always have the same approach as gamblers. They will just continue to gamble disregarding the crypto price volatility.
Yup.

This is true and for real. No matter what the prices are, gamblers will just keep on going and won't be overthink about the volatility and these are the types that have holdings.

They gamble with the excess that they've got and if they win, they'll just use that winning to gamble for more or if they lose, if they've got more spare, they'll just do it again.
