1781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This clearly damage the gambling. on: July 15, 2022, 11:43:37 PM
That's part of gambling and many knew it all along even before they enter gambling. The match fixing has been like the sideline of these players in those unknown leagues or lesser popular leagues.

They are barely checked because it looks like they're less important than the usual league.

As they've said, it doesn't really damage anything in gambling.
Is it part of gambling? In my opinion any self respecting bookie would void any bets made, that were lost or won due to match fixing. At least, proven by a independent body. That could be difficult, since funds would have to be frozen. Maybe, bookies should only do it to losses, and therefore void them or give them back as credit, and just take the hit on those bets that have won, to avoid freezing winnings.

It does damage the users that bet on it. If you've bet on x to win, and they throw the game, you've basically been shafted.
I mean that it's part of gambling in a sense that many are aware of its existence.

I've seen those bookies that have voided the entire game due to some scandals and it does happen when the respectable bookie have caught that there's anomalies for specific matches.

That's actually the key.

They just need to explore more with their options on what they actually have right now and that's the bench. Also, you're right, it will take time for another chemistry to be built and that could affect early games that they've got.

I'm sure that most teams would like to win their early games and it's no longer just a testing phase as it's always serious for them when it's all about those matches.

I have to agree with you both. Give Westbrook a chance since he already has experience playing with Lebron James and Anthony Davis. In fairness to him, he didn't act as a leader wherever he is playing with LBJ and AD on the floor at the same time unlike on his previous teams. He is just following Lebron as a playmaker and he's just there waiting for the play to design for him. That's a good character of him but it's just that his shooting percentage becomes worst last season.

If the Lakers will get again another Superstar level, prime or post-prime, they have to rebuild again that chemistry over and over again.
Yeah, on the last season, he didn't felt like he should act like some superstars have been doing lately.

It's better for them to try and test the current roster and I guess they've got enough and they can get a ring again with this roster. They're actually strong.

I like seeing a super team but sometimes they blow up and they're like combining just to have a negative result. Still, it works for most teams.

Is it true that new altcoins are the best to invest in right now?
You will never go wrong with bitcoin.

Someone said you can easily make better profits from new projects than investing in old altcoins that have already x their values already, what do you think? Good or bad idea.
Well, if that's what he'd been doing and he's making it then he's good with it. But for those people like me, I'll choose the older ones because of their stability and what they've been through with the market.

There will always be the good new projects but you'll never know how long they'll stay in the market and how good the devs are at the beginning of it and that's why I choose old projects that are proven and tested.
1785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 14, 2022, 11:44:33 PM
There's no need for the Lakers to actually get another big package in exchange for Westbrook. It's another chemistry building again which the Lakers suck.
Keep everything on the core and just revamp the bench. Give it a season more before considering breaking again the core players. The cycle will just never stop.
That's actually the key.

They just need to explore more with their options on what they actually have right now and that's the bench. Also, you're right, it will take time for another chemistry to be built and that could affect early games that they've got.

1786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Kazuto Ioka vs Donnie Nietes II on: July 14, 2022, 10:51:15 PM
Boxing fighters is like wrestling fighters there's no difference between boxing fighters..
I disagree with that, Boxing and wrestling as a sport are completely different in the sense that Boxing is real competition while wrestling is scripted or just like an acting job to entertain people. It's not a real competition compared to boxing where we have a world champions.
Yes, they're completely different.

They could be both athletes but the sports itself are entirely not the same so how could you say that there's no difference between them? Boxing is more crucial while in wrestling, if it's the typical sport and entertainment that we watch, then you know that there's the acting thing on it.

In boxing, you really see those knockouts for real and with long trainings before the match, that's how they put dedication on it.
1787  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin drops to $8k on: July 14, 2022, 09:58:14 PM
To be honest, at this price, I would definitely buy more. For me, this would be a very good option to increase profits.
$8k is low so definitely many are going to buy at that low.

Whoever won't buy at that time even just for the sake of DCA, don't really have that much attention to the price.

While everyone is surely going to buy with that rice, then there goes the others that are making excuses despite that they've said that they'll buy.
1788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT drops profitable? on: July 14, 2022, 03:28:06 PM
I have been seeing a lot of NFT drops on Twitter and I don't see that trend talked about on this forum. A lot of people are investing in and flipping NFTs instead of trading cryptos like we are. Have any of you had luck flipping NFTs or claiming NFT drops? Are the NFTs you collect art based only or also utility based NFTs like the NFT drop from MAXX Finance? Although it can be harder to sell NFTs in some cases (because there is no liquidity), the plus side is that you don't have to worry about which exchange you can sell your airdrop on (as is the case with token drops), you just sell them on major NFT marketplaces like OpenSea. I think this must be profitable for some people as you see NFT punks and apes trading for millions of dollars. What am I missing here and how do I get in on this trend?
Still there's the hype for the NFTs?

I thought that they've been gone since the bear market has entered and despite that they've got a really nice year last year, it's no longer that ideal to invest with those.

As you've said, there's no longer liquidity on it so it means that there's no interest on it. No one shall stop you from collecting those NFTs that you're seeing but if you want to see its worth by selling it then there's no liquidity, that's nothing.
1789  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Choosing the right trading strategy?? on: July 13, 2022, 11:04:21 PM
I love to trade, Seeing market conditions is always in a state Mirror Trade goes on every day, this makes me confused to choose the right trading strategy because prices fluctuate.
Trading doesn't just come of easily as you think. You need to experience how to do it and think for yourself if you want to continue or not.

As the usual trade goes by telling buying low and selling high, that's all about it but to add flavor and getting more chance of winning your trades.

You need to be educated on how to read the charts and know more about RSI and other indicators that you might bump off with your trading journey.
1790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 13, 2022, 10:03:33 PM
As for Irving he has been likely to be traded with Westbrook. This deal would be great for Lakers but not much for Nets unfortunately.
I've heard that Lebron would like to play with Irving but just as the trade, it's all the rumors that I've been hearing. Well, I guess that would just be another enjoying season for Lebron for choosing who he wants to play with.

As for the trade with KD, Nets really have to put priority on him as they've invested that much on him without getting that great return for his staying career on them.
1791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Gambling companies can get more uses to deposit. on: July 13, 2022, 09:09:14 PM
Having more options really will make someone try it or even stay on it if the process is always smooth for both withdrawals and deposits.

You're attracting every type of customer that likes those payment methods and not only into those fiat payment processes but also in crypto. But having too much is not that good too IMO unless there's no charge for using all of those.

Also, if they've got their money from any of the option and that's making things easier because they can deposit immediately.

Manny Pacquiao versus the South Korean YouTuber, DK Yoo. I've tried to find for those articles on how much was offered to him.

And saw an analyst said that Pacquiao has nothing to little gain that he'll get from this comeback match. Well, it's an exhibition match and that really won't matter to him.

He's after the entertainment and talent fee he'll get on it but how much.

Still on the making, not yet ready for its launching. It's past July 1 and we're now July 9, so you basically didn't followed the schedule that you've set.

Well, it's the website that you've launched and it have been cleared that it's only the website, an actual landing page and not the whole casino that you've built.
1796  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Registers as a Digital Assets Service Provider in Spain on: July 09, 2022, 10:33:30 AM
They have it on their plan to have as much license as they can for most countries that they can operate.

Most of the regions where they are having a lot of users is their priority. Binance is expanding and targeting regions where they have most customers and they're doing everyone a favor to reach as far as they can.

This is why they're also becoming controversial for some countries because of the wide reach that they have.

Elon Musk terminates deal with Twitter: https://apnews.com/article/elon-musk-twitter-inc-technology-4193a27d86458952542dfa2176150a01

He cites a lack of information/transparency on bot accounts as his reason. Sure, I suppose people might buy that excuse.

I'm wondering if the economic downturn had anything to do with his decision not to sink over 40 billion dollars into a miserable social media enterprise filled with college aged children complaining about how they were oppressed because they were misgendered at the coffee shop. He's claimed that he's losing billions of dollars on his car factories due to supply chain shortages, and he's cut staff at Tesla citing economic concerns. It would be a horrible move to overpay for twitter at his buying price, especially with recession on the horizon.
I've seen this news and wasn't surprised.

I guess those people that have an opinion about it that he's really going to buy it were correct after all.

He has set some conditions and there goes the news that Twitter wasn't responding(?) for the deal.

It seems like a buzz only and also, probable that the crisis really has something to do on this deal that they've got. Better to allocate that fund somewhere else that will make his companies and products better.

What he really wanted to do was renegotiate the deal but he isn't much of a negotiator and much more so a demander and went about it without proper dialog, which ultimately became his undoing.  He got what he wanted until he didn't want it anymore, consequence of rush, ego, and not doing one's homework.  Hopefully he'll focus on Tesla- improving the products and expanding the product lines, if he wishes to remain at the top.
Well, that's him and I think he's doing what he want to do and he's on that position. Unless the whole management of Twitter didn't really want to have a deal with him.

Well, it's already closed and done and there will be no more deals between the two. The $42B deal was over and if there will be another offer from whom, how much would be the valuation of it?
1798  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for newbie to long-term investing on: July 09, 2022, 03:45:29 AM
Right know I'm heavily focused on accumulating as much Eth as I can. I'm almost at the goal I've set for myself in terms of how much I'd like to have before investing in another coin, since I've started investing again a short while ago. Next up I'd like to stack some ADA and BTC of course.
Good choice for eth.

But I can't help but wonder is accumulating ETH and ADA the right move right now? Or should I be more invested in BTC in terms of potential long-term returns?
As long as you do stack and accumulate, you're doing good and with the choice. They're good and at the top of the market so you should be fine accumulating ADA and ETH.

But if I were you, I'll priority to get on bitcoin first and since you've said you're near to your accumulation target for ETH, why not do bitcoin second and ada third?
1799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 08, 2022, 11:07:56 PM
Well, a former GSW player, Payton II is no longer going to be part of his champ team. He'll be out of the team and will play for Portland Blazers. This is like a week old news but I've just seen it.

I thought that most of them will be retained by the management but it seems only those that had really contributed a lot. Thus, this is part of the business, letting go is a must and happens most of the time.
It's a sad separation but this is all for them. Now, they will have better salary in different teams and all they have to do is keep up what they are doing in their newly found family. JTA and Otto Porter Jr. also signed in a different team.
It will happen eventually and I have seen the Warriors team discover new talents in their roster, I bet they will do it again. Some name who is not a known will shine again whenever they need it.
I also saw the news about Otto.

And that's part of their growth to have a better salary and they can't be retained by the management.

It's sad but also happy that they'll get a better contract although with a new team and stack of the roster.

They'll be forever grateful that they've been part of the Dub nation that have honed them and also they've helped to reach its goal last season.
