1441  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cryptocurrency is silent why? on: September 27, 2022, 10:04:44 AM
The main cause is, it is a normal trend. We came last 2 years with a long bull run so, it is necessary for the market and bitcoin to go through this cycle.

Next years will be back again in the bull run. Regardless if the world economy will be good or bad, it is going to be better soon as what the cycles have been.
1442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 27, 2022, 09:34:42 AM
And if you guys remember last season, when Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are having their respective recovery periods because of their injuries, the Clippers show they can still win despite the absence of their superstars. They are having a good run without their superstars.

It does mean that the Clippers are having good support from their role players. Hopefully, they will be a fully healthy team this season to increase more the competition in the Western Conference.
It was one of the good teams as usual but unexpected injuries really come and that's making them like lessened in the court.

But as you have said, it is true that despite with those injuries from their main players, they still have role players that would be able to rely on.
1443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Casino Licenses on: September 27, 2022, 08:46:06 AM
Hello,

Is it possible and legal to open an online casino without a license?
I have heard that a license only allows to put users in confidence
What do you think about this?
If it is just all about the possibility, it is a yes. But legally bound, there will be some problems you and your casino will face because that's what licenses are for.

It is true that having a license will make your customers confident.

But, I am sure that you do not want to have any legal problems as you operate. Since you have mentioned about the customers, they will really look for it.
1444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is There Any Reality Behind Hash Tag Altcoinseason or it's Just a Myth? on: September 27, 2022, 08:07:08 AM
Definitely, when people say that we are about to enter in the altcoin season, it only means that they have seen the indicator.

And, that indicator means that it is with bitcoin going in all time highs.

That is the sign where we are looking for to say that we are about to enter altcoin season.
1445  Economy / Economics / Re: Savings during inflation on: September 26, 2022, 11:26:32 PM
earlier during COVID people have made subscriptions to the Netflix and that has brought so much revenue to the company
Now the people are unsubscribing to save a few bucks.
Inflation is a killing factor - physically and mentally both
It's because everyone is realizing that every buck that they earn is very important these days. Before, there were no conflicts, not that much inflation and that's why life was easier before and we can spend wherever we want and with these subscription based services. Most of them were okay to us.

But this time, everything that we don't need necessarily can easily be cut off and use the money to more important things like our basic needs.

Yeah, inflation really sucks and that's why we should be wise and man up with our spending habits.
1446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My worst day in gambling on: September 26, 2022, 10:27:16 PM
That's the adrenaline that we feel because we think we're at the top of our worlds.

And it makes us confident that we want to continue because we still got a lot to gamble. But other than that, when we start losing with our bets, that's where we become critical and think that it's still not that far from losing all of it.

As long as we still got some left, it won't stop us.

Yes. I already experienced this kind of situation most of the time when I’m playing using the money that I can afford to lose. I’m always being cautious at first and can think straight when I’m winning but disaster always come when the lose streak occurs while I keep chasing the lose. Due to fear and anxiety of losing, I can’t think straight and bet huge amount just to chase my lose quickly that always ends me up losing all my money.

We can always think straight when we are winning but we become greedy and careless when we are losing that’s why we always lose all of our bankroll once we experienced lose streak because we are chasing our lose using increasing bet amount.
Losing is a great distractor and it will never be gone in gambling because it's we win sometimes or lose at most times.

And that's why it's advisable when we're winning, while we're at the right mind, take those money that you've won and don't settle for continuous gambling if you can't handle yourself later.

But, for sure that you're going to regret that you've lost everything that you've got including the bankroll that you've used together with the wins that you've made.
1447  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is happening with Crypto market on: September 26, 2022, 09:24:27 PM
The market is actually in the pressure of the USD and global inflation crisis. I am sure we are going to be in this situation for the 3 to 5 months as in 2023 Q 1 we are going to be bullish,i am dammn sure. Its consolidation zone as side ways movement and a booring time but a good opportunity for the investors to accumulate its going to end very soon.
The whole market, every other market are being stomped by the strength of the US dollars. But looking at bitcoin and the entire crypto market.

We can say that this is enduring that. We're staying at the support for the long time and that only means that it's going to stay there despite the market turmoil that USD is doing.

But let's go onto that thing for every market that, it's not going to be there for a lifetime and things might calm down soon.
1448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My worst day in gambling on: September 26, 2022, 12:34:07 PM
Especially for the newbies.

I was once there when I was new to gambling and really had that emotion that there's a need for me to keep winning for more.

Despite winning for the majority of the bets in a local game that I've bet for, still, I went for more and didn't secured my bankroll and a few from my winnings.

It may not be the worst but that's what a typical gambler day is.
When you are already on a situation which you would really be chasing up winnings and breaking even your losses then you would really be ending up on that desperation.
Anything which is on excess would really be definitely not a good thing specially when you do touch up gambling. You would really be ending up on having the worst situation.
Its either you would lose money in huge scale or would able to stop midway completely and able to realize on whats happening.Worst day would be always
happening because in gambling, losing is very that common.

1449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10 Best Cryptocurrencies To Invest in for 2021 on: September 26, 2022, 11:01:46 AM
What a way looking at the last year's price of bitcoin and this thread was made during the time of when bitcoin was $57k.

This is crypto difficult to predict precisely and market movements are very volatile,
maybe at that time no one thought that uniswap and cake would drop more than 50%,
I think NFT is not as popular as it used to be and we'd better see later
NFTs are no longer popular today but they have been there and popular before and that's why they've added huge value to the entire market.

But this time, they don't have that similarity on what it was before. This thread was made last year and the best cryptos to buy changes overtime except for bitcoin and ethereum.
1450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Merge Success on: September 26, 2022, 09:38:39 AM
ethereum is indeed the best alternative to bitcoin. if bitcoin is worth because it has history, ethereum is known for its extraordinary utility even today it is still being developed for the better with a community as large as bitcoin. Ethereum in my opinion has long been the next bitcoin but to become number one it is still not capable.
You said it right.

Before, it was Ethereum as the best alternative for transfers because of how cheap ETH transfers was before and how quick they were. But as the other projects have emerged, and the eth network had became congested.

Other projects have became the new and best alternative for it while many have hated ETH for that utility but still, many likes ETH as an asset and for the other utilities that it's working on.

And that's why it's not seen to change and get on bitcoin's throne.
1451  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At what point do you sell your Bitcoin forever, OR wait to buy back later ??? on: September 25, 2022, 11:48:36 PM
1.   At what point do you guys lose faith in the dream of Bitcoin going to the moon, cut your losses and sell ??

2.   At what point do you sell your Bitcoin, Convert to cash, and wait to buy 20 times as many Bitcoin at a much lower price, say something like 1000 dollars ??

3.   Would you never sell, no matter what is happening in the crypto world, and ride Bitcoin down to the bottom ??
1. Maybe if it becomes zero. There's nothing for me to cut though.  Tongue

2. If this like asking the price when to buy, I'd say that below $10k for me where I'll buy and use some from my savings to buy as much as I can.

But selling, I'd sell whenever I want and if I need to.

3. I'm selling because I have to and there's a need for me to get those cash, I'm in profit though and there's no regret whatever the price is currently sitting down.
1452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Next better altcoin? on: September 25, 2022, 10:55:04 PM
Of course Helium has a potential to grow up. I think helium Is the next solana altcoin. This altcoin is based on internet. So by that time use of internet is soo high. Helium will give good profit in future also hold for a long time  Smiley
I've heard helium from a random video that it has explained that one can earn from it through having a device and have it like you're mining it.

I forgot the whole details but I did my research on it a few months ago and saw that it's an interesting thing that one can earn from that through this coin.

But don't forget that all cryptos are relying on internet so, it's not going to be a main focus that it's going to be only helium that will go up when usage is high, in fact, internet usage is actually high now.
1453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My worst day in gambling on: September 25, 2022, 10:12:48 PM
I understand that feeling wherein we just want to continue gambling regardless of the risks. It's already common to those people, especially those new to gambling or just recently experienced the feeling of being a big winner. Without the worst experience in gambling, we will never learn.
Especially for the newbies.

I was once there when I was new to gambling and really had that emotion that there's a need for me to keep winning for more.

Despite winning for the majority of the bets in a local game that I've bet for, still, I went for more and didn't secured my bankroll and a few from my winnings.

1454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 25, 2022, 09:41:26 PM
Well, that's right.

They'll have that salary cap and that's why some of them has to let go and be traded. As a player goes into a championship, I guess that they're also bound to increase their salaries and contracts.

And the GSW management can't keep with that and maybe, that's a brilliant thing for some of those that wanted to increase their salary but, they'll no longer be part of that great championship team that they've been part of.

The players already knew that they have no choice at all when they are being selected to be drafted so that the team will not pay excessive luxury tax, NBA is business after all as well as the franchise. If the players earn, the franchise needs to earn and save too, that's the point. If only luxury tax wasn't there, I bet the teams in the league will be so stacked up because they will be keeping their players especially the ones who are so vital for the team's win in the championship.
That makes sense.

They would have to do for the best for the team and if that has to let go of some of their players that have been with them and helped to win the title, there's no hard feelings on it.

Yeah, it's a business after all, all the franchises and teams that are in there. They're all doing the same thing and even in other teams, they have their superstars needed to trade for some players just to shuffle and make their roster look better.
1455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How about investing into altcoins? on: September 25, 2022, 12:27:28 PM
ADA is still the top coin, still in the top 10 coins on CMC. I still find it well worth the investment and ADA just completed the VASIL upgrade, which is an important upgrade for ADA.
I didn't know what the vasil upgrade was already done. I don't have a focus on ADA but such updates could really play that swing for ADA and or any project that has such updates.

As soon as bitcoin rises again, I believe ETH and ADA or top coins will go up very strongly. So now is a good time to buy altcoins. Choosing a new coin now is very risky as we will never know when the bear market will end.
That's one thing that we are sure about. Whenever bitcoin goes on the top, ETH, ADA and other top altcoins will also be there at the top.

And before you buy altcoins, you've got to make sure that you own and hold bitcoin.
1456  Economy / Economics / Re: Age as a factor depreciating some people of their dreams on: September 25, 2022, 11:24:01 AM
Passion is really something, don't you think? Any person, regardless of age, can create wonderful things out of passio and love for what they do.
There is no doubt that passionate people will continue what they're up to. Even they're already aging as long as the passion is doable, they'll do it whatever it takes.

Before it is too late, I believe that we should pursue our passions while we are still young. We should follow our dreams and make them come true no matter how long it takes, as long as we are happy with the results.
I agree to that, because I've seen old people that has never done what they love to do and they can't do it anymore because of their limited strength and resouces.

That's why we're learning from them and they're also telling and giving advise that we should do what we're passionate with no matter what it takes.
1457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 24, 2022, 09:24:19 PM
Yes, there's no problem with that. I'm just seeing most of the fans have talked about that before but it's no longer a problem. Everyone has to end their journey with their championship team and has to be traded away if that's the management's decision.

They cannot keep them all anyway even if they wanted too. Their salary is bound to go up and if GSW keeps them, they would be over the cap and will be paying a lot of luxury tax. It would not be a wise move. They have to make a choice who to let go and who to keep.

1458  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Name the biggest problem/reason why aren't there more folks coming on Web3? on: September 24, 2022, 12:41:53 PM
I guess when people have understood how it works like it's just an added feature that you can easily connect your wallet to websites, then that's how they see the essence of web3.

It's still in its infancy and I think the main reason why the learning didn't proceed just like the enthusiasm of many through NFT games is because of the bear market.

This is what's happening when the market enters the bear, interest decreases anything related to crypto.
1459  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long term investing - Spot, Margin or Derivatives? on: September 24, 2022, 11:48:17 AM
Investing in cryptocurrencies is of course very convenient to do through the spot market,
I don't think that you should let it stay on the spot market when you're just going for long term. Like the majority's concern about holding in an exchange, you have no full control to your crypto there.

I'm sure 99% of people in this world will also make purchases in the spot market and store them in a wallet,
whether it's a hardware wallet or a software wallet. For sure Spot market is the first and easiest choice to buy Bitcoin and altcoins.
Yes, we do purchase in exchanges and should be a norm to keep them in hardware wallets or those wallets good for long term not with exchanges.
1460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 24, 2022, 10:20:20 AM
Well, sad to say about the GSW, they didn't managed to keep the whole championship roster that they've got before as they need to release a few of them and do some trades.

I don't think that's a problem for Golden State Warriors as their core lineup is still intact.

Yes, I agree that those who departed are key players but not to the extent that releasing them will turn this team into the worst one.
Yes, there's no problem with that. I'm just seeing most of the fans have talked about that before but it's no longer a problem. Everyone has to end their journey with their championship team and has to be traded away if that's the management's decision.

The Warriors are still having their championship lineup.
No doubt, the roster is still a championship caliber and they could really get back again to the finals.
