What a game. Chiefs got lamared big time. Really not how imagined it ending when he had negative points after the first quarter.

Can your quarterback do this?  Cool

Mad dogs are crushing it and it's not over yet... Derrick Henry could have overtime. And then there is the KC game. My condolences to the taco team.

If one person trusts you for some inexplicable reason, feel free to borrow from them. You don't have a collateral nor any reputation to speak of so just stop spamming here and begging other people for loans lest you earn a fully deserved red trust rating.

Dolphins OL is sucking so badly today... I'm cringing even though it's making me a shitload of points.

Wow, you haters missed out big time.

I'm still kicking myself for missing out on Paycoin and Bitconnect.

I can say that if a cure is found, it will be fiercely opposed by the establishment. Covid has simply allowed for those in power to have too much control for them to allow for any effective treatments.

That explains why the establishment is so fiercely opposed to the vaccine because it must be even worse for their devious purposes than a cure, it prevents most people from even getting sick.
2447  Other / Meta / Re: New sub-board idea on: September 18, 2021, 12:20:46 AM
We already have a board for tokens. Having it filled with garbage is hardly a reason to create a new board that will be inevitably filled with garbage. If the altcoin section could clean itself up (and judging by all these suggestions popping up you'd think there should be enough people to care about it and report garbage to mods) then you wouldn't need a new board. Regular altcoin boards could easily accommodate fad du jour.

Trolls sent to Siberia for "re-education"?

Compared to the affirmative action going on here for trolls, spammers, and other assorted idiots, sending them off to Siberia twitbook and snapgram wouldn't be that bad, would it.

Just one of those things where the allegedly "ancap" forum is about as communist (equality at the expense of efficiency) as it gets.
2449  Other / Meta / Re: Delete/Merit button on: September 17, 2021, 11:57:05 AM
I used to want a quick merit option like you're suggesting but I've grown to like the merit button where it is. It kinda makes you consider the context when sending merit. For example a short sentence could be or could be not meritorious depending on whether it concisely and precisely answers someone's question, or just adds some useless noise on page 54 of a spam megathread. Same with a 5-paragraph post that may seem merit-worthy on its own, but if it repeats something that's already been said then maybe not.

Anyone that wants to do any business with me can easily verify if they are talking to me by checking my past doxxed ID and finding me else where on social media (Linkedin / twitter etc)

Except if your e-mail gets hacked and any "social media" accounts can be compromised too.

But that will surely never happen.
2452  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bitcointalk with a socialist instead of an ancap in charge. on: September 17, 2021, 02:13:48 AM
And I think another worse solution would have been implemented, although we can never know for sure. The system is not perfect, but it is very good. It rewards those who make an effort, instead of trying to equalize, redistribute and talk about "unfair advantages". It is a typically capitalist system of competition, effort and reward for effort and a job well done.

There is no competition and merits are not scarce. It's basically a participation trophy, just show up and post something coherent and you'll get a merit - no elaborate talent show required. I don't know whether that's "socialist" or "capitalist" or "ancap" or whatever juxtaposition you're trying to do here, it doesn't seem to be political at all.

No.

I made a post about gambling, and when I came back to it today, I cant reply, or do anything with it, any ideas?

Maybe you accidentally clicked "lock"? Try "unlock topic" (bottom left) - if a moderator locked it then you won't be able to unlock it so you'll know.

For a thread with "CA recall election" in the title this seems awfully quiet the day after the vote. Are we trying to avoid waking the Kraken?

Well week one is in the books and I don't know about you guys but me and Suchmoon had a real close game that came down to Monday night. He Had ravens QB and Raiders RB and I had Ravens D and a 35 or so point lead with which Lamar can cover easily alone so I was a bit worried and rightfully so!

It was quite exciting indeed. I was worried about Jacobs being questionable before the game but he delivered big time, limping and all.

What pisses me off is that ESPN put me in 7th position on the wire, which basically means I can't get the players I want... even though my team is like 3rd worst in the league.

I'm not sure how the waiver order was setup, I think it is the inverse of the final draft round order for the first week. Which is to say the same order as the draft as that how it works out with a snake draft style.

But far be it from me to take advantage and grab a RB that I don't need nor want! Tongue

Trade offers anyone. Wink

Is the waiver wire random each week meaning every week a new person has a Crack at the top slot?  I never bothered to look so I don't know how it's calculated.  Either way waiver wire is an important piece to the championship puzzle Wink

It's in reverse order of current standings and when you get a player off the wire you drop to the bottom in the order.

Quote
Waiver Order
Reset Each Week to Inverse Order of Standings

My problem is that it put me 2nd in the standings, but that's just because our "division" is the equivalent of NFC East and I happened to win one game. This doesn't really reflect the true suckyness of my team and my need to grab some players before I face someone like that wheelz guy from the other division.

Edit: shit forgot how to bold in code is it "/" ? Damn running out of time and can't be bothered to look it up now. Having memory issues in your old age suck big time. Smiley

AFAIK you can't format text in code tags. But I think you can just use quote tags for this.

Telegram idiocy at its best. Now the participants (how many are there? 3? 4?) of this telenovela will be posting screenshots cut/edited to fit their narrative.
2459  Economy / Reputation / Re: WTF Maidak? on: September 15, 2021, 04:47:32 PM

Saving private keys in e-mail drafts should not be "common" for a trustworthy person on this forum. Getting one's e-mail hacked and forum account compromised literally means you can't trust the user to be who they claim to be.

It should not be that common to someone who understands the importance of it, but its acceptable story and people do sometimes store keys in email drafts. And its really an over exaggerated statement to say that the account is just as thrash now.

If you want to do business with legendster, nobody can stop you. His account is not "thrash", you just don't know who is in control of it, or who will hack (or "hack") it when you send money to it.
2460  Other / Meta / Re: Is quoting a copied content plagiarism? on: September 15, 2021, 11:42:53 AM
Is quoting not enough proof that the Op never intended to pass off someone else's work as his own? Please educate me.

It should be enough to not get the user banned.

Personally, I think it is plagiarism, because you really need to give credit for what you are quoting.

No, all you need to do is to not claim that you created the text. Quote tags do that.

We do not and should not have requirements for how the source should be provided and that's a good thing. We don't want to get into elaborate dramas because someone posted a broken/fake link or something.
