1661  Other / Off-topic / Re: YOUTUBE VS TIKTOK on: February 20, 2022, 12:51:09 AM
The only good thing about TikTok is that it makes Youtube look great. And youtubers - even comment trolls - looks like brilliant geniuses compared to the crud that inhabits TikTok.

Also people who have two eyes and choose to use like 10% of the field of vision shouldn't be posting anything on the internet to begin with.

1662  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for $2000 loan on: February 20, 2022, 12:39:50 AM
I'll only take a loan from 1 place since if it was accepted by a service it's gonna get denied by the other one automatically, I'm not only offering the domain name, I'm offering domain + Vps and my name cheap acc which has my personal information, since I couldn't find an investor no one is interested I thought a loan would work and will be repayed a month from now

Get a job at Micky D's for a couple of months and make the money that you need for your website.

Imagine if someone walked up to you on the street and said "give me $2000". Because that's essentially what you're doing here. No reputation, no collateral, ignoring the stickies on this board, all you know is that you want money.

Great for 1xBit, one less spammer to pay Grin
1664  Economy / Reputation / Re: REQUEST FOR ATTENTION OF: All 1xbit Signature Campaign Participants on: February 18, 2022, 10:08:04 PM
We can not take the mods to serious anymore, look which posts they have deleted. I am pretty sure there is some conspiracy going on that all 1xbit posts must be removed, since these posts had enough good quality.

LOL "good quality". Generic garbage stretched to fill 2-3 lines so as not to look like "good project sir" but it is essentially the same "quality". As evidenced by the fact that you're pooping those posts out every few minutes without even bothering to read the threads you're posting in.
1665  Economy / Reputation / Re: Who to believe in trust system. on: February 18, 2022, 01:51:12 PM
Who to believe in this case, the moderator or the staff.

Believe the calendar. If you look at the dates it's quite obvious that the user in question had some good trades and then scammed. There is no indication that the user came back and repaid the victims, so you should assume that the red ratings are still correct. Not that complicated.

Also provide links, makes it much easier for everyone to follow your question: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=35312

"Moderator" and "Staff" doesn't mean anything in this context.

Edit: LOL mocacinno beat me to it...
1666  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 18, 2022, 12:07:17 AM
At some point adjustable rate mortgage people would be majorly screwed.

Does such a thing still exist? With rock-bottom interest rates for the last 10+ years one would have to be extremely special to have an ARM.
1667  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Looking for a bitcoin loan 2000-3000 Euros worth ( I am brand new here ) on: February 15, 2022, 09:16:56 PM
If i have complity misunderstood this concept, please let me know Smiley

You have completely [sic] misunderstood this concept. You will not get a loan here without collateral. Read the stickies at the top of this board.
1668  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 15, 2022, 03:12:50 PM
Another excuse to accuse Bitcoin of "funding terrorists".

Nah, Bitcoin is like Toyota. If "terrorists" use it, it must be really good.
1669  Other / Meta / Re: Sharing PM screenshots in forum posts, is it OK? on: February 15, 2022, 02:51:12 PM
It means Pms are private and maybe confidential.

No, they're neither private nor confidential unless encrypted. Aside from the recipient being an asshole, or admins peeking into your messages, there are also possible hacks and other circumstances when your PMs can become public.
1670  Other / Meta / Re: Sharing PM screenshots in forum posts, is it OK? on: February 15, 2022, 02:33:43 AM
My question is, is it OK to share screenshots of Personal Messages sent to you by a member if you are trying to prove a link between two alt accounts?
Doesn't it violate any forum rules that I may not know?

Rule violation? No. Just not cool (what with it being a "personal" message and all). But screenshots don't really prove anything since they can be easily fabricated so you might as well just say that you have the proof and it would have the same weight (i.e. in order to believe it we would have to trust you).

I love how trollnut above is not-so-subtly implying that LoyceV archives PMs (no, he doesn't).
1671  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] AVOID!!! LocalMonero.co is an elaborate SCAM with fake traders on: February 14, 2022, 05:09:25 PM
~

OP is a nutcase troll and a beggar:

Thank you for reading my thread and I hope you found it entertaining if nothing else.

This took 10 years to write btw since LocalMonero website is laggy and constantly down when making such a big ass thread with so much formatting.

If you enjoyed this consider easing my pain with a donation, every dollar helps fund the war effort against the CCP

I would suggest to report the post to mods and not feed the poor creature.
1672  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 14, 2022, 01:03:24 PM
Buddy, chill.

Honestly this ad is the worst ad I've ever seen Grin, I don't know how much money Coinbase had to spend to design and make the ad run, but indeed the implementation of ads using barcodes can provide quick and easy access to the Coinbase platform, but isn't it coinbase need something more creative to grab the attention of the audience than a floating barcode?

It grabbed more attention than most ads. Everyone is trying too hard to justify the cost so they end up cramming all sorts of stuff into their SB ads that makes no sense. There were at least 3 "crypto" related ads (Coinbase, crypto.com, FTX) and the latter two don't pass the watercooler test, i.e. no one I know is talking about them but everyone noticed the jumping QR code.

Coinbase being a shitty exchange notwithstanding LOL
1673  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 14, 2022, 12:39:55 AM
We need a major, well produced, Superbowl bitcoin commercial.
Surely some whale could spend a few coins and take care of that, eh?
Just for shits and giggles of course...

Well, the Coinbase ad was... different.

1674  Local / Русский (Russian) / Re: Репутация в Русском локальном разделе on: February 13, 2022, 10:02:17 PM

I've been in contact with several people about this, and I'm not the only victim.

How many sockpuppets do you have in that campaign? Your user ID doesn't show up in modlog.

You should reconsider your life choices if not being able to post shit on an internet forum gets your knickers in a knot.
1677  Other / Meta / Re: [Ban Request] 1xbit signature spammer. Do you agree? on: February 12, 2022, 02:50:40 PM
3. We also disregard the participant's spam posts.

No, you don't. Hundreds of spam posts were paid and are still being paid when mods can't delete them quickly enough.

We have a contest going on

And there you have it, peddling your shit even in Meta.
1678  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 11, 2022, 07:16:35 PM

There is a couple of things wrong with this chart. First, scale... the BTC "penis" should be ~30x longer than ETH. It obviously isn't. Also BTC volume seems to be overstated by one or two orders of magnitude. Perhaps they included change amounts, not sure. More realistic numbers I've seen are around $5 billion per day or ~$60k per second.
1679  Other / Meta / Re: [Ban Request] 1xbit signature spammer. Do you agree? on: February 11, 2022, 01:07:21 PM
To get them a real ban, I think you'll have to build a case against each individual user. Back when Yobit was spamming, suchmoon made an overview of the number of posts per user. Such an overview could help here too, but it's a lot of work and I've seen users get away with many deleted posts.

The yobit stats mostly helped yahoo to remove users from the campaign. I don't think mods looked into it. They get the post reports and delete those posts, so not sure what other case could be possibly built here.
1680  Other / Meta / Re: [Ban Request] 1xbit signature spammer. Do you agree? on: February 10, 2022, 10:44:55 PM
For me 1xbit content doesn't look as bad as Yobit/Cryptotalk campaign. Or maybe I got wrong impression because number of participants is significantly smaller and their content isn't that visible.

Yobit paid per post for a large number (100?) of posts. 1xbit payment is flat rate for a minimum is 20 posts per week and if you look at the spreadsheet they are all trying to make 20-21-22 posts. So there's less spam in absolute numbers but they're clearly posting only to get paid and most of the posts are useless.

Please don't feed the trollface.
