2461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Believe That It's A Fix on: September 28, 2019, 11:09:21 PM
Ok this actually happens to my friend not so long ago, he is going on a boxing match and he will bet for the heavy favorite, then suddenly an unknown guy whisper to him, that the fight is going to be fixed and he supposedly heard it from the favorite to win, locker room, are you going to listen to that and bet for the underdog.

What's your take?
I won't listen to that. I believe that every athlete/player has dignity and won't be easily get blinded by bribery. Thus, I won't change my mind in placing my bet to my desired player/athlete regardless of what that unknown guy told to us/me. I'm not placing bet to a player that I don't know perhaps that's why I'm able to say this. I might be wrong but my perspective in sports betting won't change until I've experienced anomaly to atleast a single game.

We have the same perspectives on this matter. Aside from that, that person is a nobody to you, so why should it affect on your decision? For all we know, they are just random planted individuals to spread something negative for their own gain. We don't know their intentions why they are doing such act. I will place my bet for the boxer that I know will win the game and not influence by just random stranger. If I am betting, it means I know the sport and confident about my decision. My money, my bet! Simple as that.
2462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ELYNET | South Korean Telecom Giant Blockchain Mobile Network on: September 28, 2019, 10:04:38 PM
This is really interesting project. When will you begin the token sales phase? Is there a possibility you have an IEO?
Becoming the Mobile Blockchain Revolution with Full telecom services is a briliant idea and good concept. I am really looking forward to it.
After I read on their website, they have no information when they will sell the tokens, maybe they haven't thought about selling the tokens at this moment. I'm waiting for this Korean project, I am very sure that they will succeed, because so far many Korean projects have been successful.
You are right. Most Korean projects are serious about building their projects. Are you also interested in investing in this project? I think this project has very good potential in the future if they can realize it according to the roadmap that has been prepared. I will wait for the date of their token sale.

I agree, the potential is massive once this launches. Imagine people no longer having to depend on their local carrier and make ElyNet as a universal sim wherever they go. This can help mass adoption right here.

That kind of feature is really attractive to users who have relatives, colleagues or friends around the globe. However, the adoption might not come easy so their marketing team should be aggressive in introducing this to the market. I can see that this project is legit and they are serious of expanding their business. But wondering why they will not be focusing their market in South Korea also?
2463  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Make it back to $20k ? on: September 28, 2019, 09:04:16 PM
No doubt Bitcoin price will be bounce-back very soon, but I don't think BTC price will be 16-20K USD by this year! Therefore we don't know what gonna happen in the next three months! The present crypto market seems unpredictable, we can see a bear run too!

It is only a question of time when will we gonna hit that price again. In this market, there's always possibility of everything because of its price volatility. However, from my end, I don't think $20k level will be achieved this year. Mass adoption is increasing everyday as there are more big companies getting interested in blockchain technology, more crypto users are installing crypto wallet in their smartphones, more merchants and shops are integrating crypto as payment method and many others. So it is not a miracle that if one day, bitcoin price will go higher than its current value and hit again the $20k range.
2464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 💡[ANN] Gigajoule - Floating Solutions💡 on: September 28, 2019, 01:38:05 PM

⚡️What are the advantages of Gigajoule solution?

Yes, there are indeed advantages and I am especially pleased with the opportunity to receive dividends. This is gonna be really cool.

Yes, in fact, the project works cool and it has all the prospects for development. Since they already have a clear algorithm of actions and all decisions . But what happens if you can not collect a soft cap during the IEO?

As a follow-up question, is the team relying on how much they will raise during IEO? Will it affect the actual development of this platform? As we can see from the roadmap, the construction will be in 2021, that's a long way to go. Investors should really be patient on this project.

The team should tap big whales to get more funding and fast track their construction. People will gonna forget this project later on because of slow development.
2465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Ten Billion Coin – a new blockchain designed to empower Chinese industries on: September 28, 2019, 12:01:33 PM
I noticed that almost all newbies are posting on this thread. I hope they are not in some way connected to the team just to say something and bump this thread. Anyway, is it correct that you only have one partner as of the moment - ntwd.cn? Are there more of this in the coming days? If you can manage to get more partners, it translates to the possibility that your coin might really have real application in Chinese industries.
2466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥[ANN][STO]Isonex: Boost Your Portfolio Returns & Outperform BTC by 189%🔥 on: September 28, 2019, 05:52:43 AM
If this project has initial funds to begin their operations, then why would they still need huge money from their STO?  As lestherat have said, your group might have never have to work again if you raise this $16M. If in case you can raise that amount in this bearish period.

And by the way, can you request some of your Advisors to add this ISONEX project in their portfolio? This is also to prove that they are really part of this project and not just listed by the team without their knowledge. And also your financial consultant's linkedin page is not available. One of the most important people of your team. We are talking money on this investment.
2467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Adoption! Finally? on: September 28, 2019, 03:25:48 AM
It would only be a matter of time before everyone finally accept Bitcoin as a payment method.
Every year more and more people, company or business are accepting cryptoas a payment so for me we are near on being able to use it as a regular currency,
Since crypto made a huge noise back in 2017 we are seeing some big names entering crypto industry promoting it.
The only question here is do you see it as a currency for payment or just a stock for investment?

For me, I am in crypto for both reasons. Sometimes I used crypto for payment online and at the same time I see it as an investment because as much as possible, I don't want to spend my bitcoin to unnecessary things. But I guess, we will find more users to be in the investment side. Because of its volatility, a lot are hoping that it will jump to a higher level to get their profit as much as possible. But with big companies establishing their own currencies, it means they do believe on the capability of blockchain technology. That is a big plus in the crypto business because we will gain more credibility and exposure because of these giant institutions.

2468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who are are your bet for this year's boxing fight of the year on: September 28, 2019, 01:33:40 AM
The OP should make a poll for this thread. But from my end, I will go for Pacquiao-Thurman fight not considering other possible matches yet that will happen for the rest of the year.  Why would I vote for this match? Many people are rooting for Thurman because of his age, but it turned out that Pacquiao can still beat younger boxers at his age. It proved that age is just a number, if you have the innate power and strength along with strong determination, you can still be victorious at your chosen career.

Also, I like the fact that PacMan remain to be a humble person despite achieving his good financial status right now. Look at Mayweather, he is always flaunting his riches and other material things to the eyes of public on his social media. And he is not shy about it. He brags about it. It's not all about money in this world though!
2469  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Nova Exchange on: September 27, 2019, 11:01:48 PM
If no fraud, return money for coin listing. Otherwise it is pure scam.

luckely i head not much coins over there ... after their first decision to stop , i stopped with them also , and after re-opening they suddenly want KYC...

with do all respect , i stopped with KYC after the hack of some exchange , where you personal id lays on the street ...

I'm an old user of this exchange before they changed management. But no kyc at the time yet. Didn't know that they already require kyc for their customers as I haven't back as well after they changed hands. They should require kyc only for certain levels. If you are only a small time trader, I think no need to be strict with kyc requirements. Otherwise, it would be hard for this exchange to gain more traders let alone gain the old users.
2470  Economy / Economics / Re: How long can you endure? on: September 27, 2019, 09:55:49 PM
I've seen my holdings shrunk 300% from where it was during the 2017 bull run to the crash of 2018 but I'm still here. I've seen $3000 levels along the way from a $19000 top, but that doesn't deter me from investing or still staying even though it hurts the wallet already (hint: it really doesn't.) I've been profiting since 2015 off of bitcoin and crypto and it's a rare opportunity to be had only to throw it away just because of a single crash that isn't like any other crash.

Perhaps you'll still see me posting and yapping about all things bitcoin-related for decades more, here in this very forum--if it still exist by then.

That is right. We will always see this kind of price movement. We might labeled this week as price crash but as compared to last year's performance, we are still way beyond the previous price level. If you are a long time crypto user, you will not ask this to yourself - how long can you endure? Because you know better. This is only the tip of the iceberg of your life in crypto. You have been in much worst condition, yet you stay. Why would you give up now? Now that the adoption is growing and more crypto users are learning the right way.
2471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] apM-Coin |South Korean Wholesale Titan - Payments; Loyalty; 1.5M Customers on: September 27, 2019, 07:19:31 PM
Did project reach 1.5M Customers? Or it is just target market in future for apM-Coin?
And where are there customer? They are in only Korean or around the world? Is Korean the 1st market of apM-Coin after ICO?

apM is a 20 year-old Korean company; it already has 1.5M+ annual customers across a range of wholesale fashion malls.

Yes, Korea is their first market.

The list of partners and brands as published on the website is already a good reference point that this project might pull it off. It is only a matter of time for its current users to use their blockchain app and fully utilize it. 20 years in the business is not an easy peasy task so I guess they know what they are doing here. Aside from the South Korean market, what neighbouring countries are you targeting that will patronize this platform?
2472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING! this is very misleading on: September 27, 2019, 05:51:27 PM
Legit projects always post their wallets for public to verify them before they make decisions. Many projects are not doing that. As a investor, we can just ask for that details. This is not wrong also. Project might make deliberate attempt to not giving such information. Then that project should be a miss for me.

If a particular project provides their wallet address along with the stat bar. Now, it means something very positive for the project. They are not hiding anything and are really transparent to their investors. You have to save that project, take a second a look because that project is very rare and might turn into a gem in the future. Very few can be open that much to their clients. Most are just showing their stat bars which can be heavily manipulated and so it is the responsibility of the potential investor to have a deeper study of the project.
2473  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN]Bitlevex.com exchange. Spot, Options, Margin, OTC ,LICENSED serv. provider! on: September 27, 2019, 02:35:15 PM
Hello, Slow death.

Thank you for reaching out.

Yes, Mihails is the founder of BITLEVEX, and our company is located in Estonia.

We received an approval to provide services by the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) of Republic of Estonia. Please click on the links to see detailed information:

1) Providing services of exchanging a virtual currency against fiat currency (No.: FVR001068)

2) Providing a virtual currency wallet service (No.: FRK000962)

Stay tuned for our BETA testing event, we will be announcing information shortly! http://bit.ly/2Q1Akq5

Estonia it is! We all know how easy it is to get a license from Estonia. This is a go-to of most cryptocurrency exchanges because they have loose regulations towards crypto. It is like getting a Curacao license for a gambling site.

But anyway, at least you manage to get your license even from Estonia. Many others don't have. So you still have a bit of credibility than them.  Grin

But who rated you as excellent for your UI/UX & design & User engagement while your competitors are only rated from poor to good level, beating binance???
2474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [DELIRIUM-DLC] POS+MN - Digital Currency For The Regulated Online Gaming Sector on: September 27, 2019, 02:00:36 PM
What particular games are you going to explore with this project? As I can't access the website at the moment, I don't know what are you cooking here? I hope you will not fall for the same fate of most masternode coins. Oh well, the team members can get their money before it is totally abandoned. Hope I'm wrong.
We are already partnering with another project under development for an online casino attached to a shared masternode pool and stake. The project will move towards adding online and retro games using the cryptocurrency method in the rewards and payments system.

Okay thanks, appreciate your response. Online casino is really a booming business in the crypto community. You can always encounter a new gambling site in this forum alone. Is the online casino that you are partnering with will post their thread in the gambling section as well? Would be nice if they have proper gambling license to commence their business to increase their credibility as a gambling site.

Ok. Let's say this happened, why do you think it's reasonable to keep the dude's money?

Sure, by all means, you should ban him (and probably his mom for good measure) from using your services in the future. But just pocketing his money is outrageously unethical. And please don't act like it's a legal requirement, as you guys appear to operate under a curacao license, which is the same (rubber-stamp) process I went through several years ago back when I used to run a casino -- so I know for a fact there's no legal requirement to pocket people's funds in situations like this (just one to deny service).

Hi there,

So, I think confiscating the winnings is the right way to do, but confiscating the deposit is questionable as far as I'm concerned. I believe the management checked with AskGamblers, Anti-Fraud team for our platform provider, and curacao for advice and they all agreed that they had the mandate to confiscate the full amount. My personal opinion would be more in line of paying back the deposit to the player and permanently ban him from playing. Then again, I'm not the head honcho, hence I can only give my opinion and recommendation, but it's up to the management to decide what they ultimately will do.

But I'm on the same line as you here.

As you've said, confiscating the winnings is the right way to do here. He should get his original money and not confiscate it all. If he has questionable KYC docs, why did your company even accepted him as a player on your site? And yes I do agree with RHavar, having Curacao license? We all know that it is a substandard license. And you want to be very strict with your clients???  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes I hope this guy will get his money back, else, this gambling site will have greedy, cheating points from me.

2477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: if anyone hacked your account then who is responsible??? on: September 26, 2019, 09:35:31 PM
if I've created account/wallet on coinbase or any other exchange then my account is hacked and my coins/money lost who are responsible for it
The Exchange where I've created account Huh
is it my mistake Huh
what's you thought about it Huh

and how i make my account safe  Huh

Before passing blames it is good to know how the hack happened. If it's a hack targeted at the exchange where many other users were affected, then it's not your fault but the fault of the exchange for failing to protect their users; this is the reason it's never wise to store assets on any exchange no matter how big it is. On the other hand, if the hack is strictly on your account, then its your fault, because someone might have had access to your account which will only be possible through you; that is, you failed to secure your details.

I do agree with this point of view. Check first why this situation happened, from the exchange or from your account only. And after that, you can act accordingly. Don't hesitate to reach out for the support of that particular exchange. And yes, as rdewilde said, never store assets in exchange. Better transfer it to offline wallet. Even if the exchange is trustworthy like coinbase, they are still vulnerable to hacking. As hackers are becoming sophisticated, it is only a matter of time that someone will hack a secured crypto exchange.
2478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Zerozed Project [x0z] | Zero-Zed Diffusion of Innovations Block Reward Algorithm on: September 24, 2019, 11:27:53 PM

I will be happier when I see it in Tradesatoshi, it is the exchange that I use and the one that has brought me profits in my currencies, besides that with only 1000 satoshis I can operate. Do you not plan to list it there?

You are one of those few that is satisfied with tradesat. I stopped using that exchange because of the last bitcoin transaction that I had with them. It took more than 1 week to complete my transaction because they used very low tx fee. I hope you will not encounter such problem in the future.

It's very rare to see actual Founders interact and share updates here in Bitcointalk for their project. This is the kind of leadership and transparency that we wanted. Keep it up!

But I believe they need to work on promotional programs as I feel that this altcoin is not having a lot of supporters here.
2479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: characteristics of fraudulent projects on: September 23, 2019, 10:13:11 PM
when investors and the crypto community already believed, but the team said differently!
- The team did not respond well to the crypto community.
- The team is very shady and does not provide updates about their projects on the telegram & social media channels.
- The team plans to take a vacation
- The team blocked accounts one by one from each community who questioned about the development of the project.
- and finally you are banned in this group  Grin

it's so annoying, how you feel?  Roll Eyes

Haha. These are hilarious. Well these are what you look out for after investing already which I think its a late time to do due diligence on a project. The best time is before investing your funds, what are the red flags you look out for? Some examples are, newly created Telegram and social media accounts, Whitepaper plagiarism, team profile not available for confirmation on linkedin and social media, unreadable smart contract on Github, shady token allocation and metrics and so on

Yes, the above mentioned items of the OP are not the real items to be looked out for before investing in any project. It is already too late if you found out that those items are present in one of your invested projects. But if in case you encountered those items after you invested, you need to get rid of those coins as much as possible, if it has still value in exchanges. Don't wait too long, because you might end up bag hodler of worthless coins.
2480  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saudi Oil and how the recent attack may affect Bitcoin on: September 22, 2019, 10:53:40 PM
Everyone was expecting that the crude prices may jump by 15% to 20% on the aftermath of the attack. But that never happened. The Brent crude price on NASDAQ was $60.22 per barrel before the attack and now it is trading at $64.60 per barrel. So there was no major impact on the oil prices, resulting from the attack. And since the rise was less than 8%, I don't think that it can have an impact elsewhere.
And with that being said, this unfortunate incident will have no impact on the Bitcoin market. I can't see the correlation as well how it might influence the bitcoin's price. Or we might not feel it's impact as of this moment.
