I don't know, very out of character for me to cash out. Glad I did though. I know if it did end up being a different result than it was, I'd be kicking myself today.
We all need to cash out at some point don't we?  Cheesy
I kick myself in the but every time I predict all fights correctly and I don't bet on all of them, and that is much worse than losing.
One surprise for me on previous fight card was Shavkat Rakhmonov who was better than Neil Magny in co-main event.
He was a perfect record same as Umar Nurmagomedov who has potential to be like his cousin Khabib but in Bantamweight category with amazing 15-0 record.

Do what I do.  Bet on all the matches and bunch them up into lottery tickets.  Lol.  Your most confident picks at the top two tiers and add the less confident ones at the lower tiers.  Make sure the first line is as close to 2.00 as possible to break even.  Smiley  I think I'll start doing something like it at the EPL too.

Anyway, guys watch Volk vs Holloway 2 and tell me what you think.  It's close but I think Holloway won.

Ousmane Dembele's transfer saga is really becoming too much. Apparently, Barcelona are confident again that he will sign the extension.
Considering his demands - there probably isn't much interest from elsewhere.

Barcelona needs him to stay after Leeds survived the drop and Raphinha became a bit out of their reach.

It's funny because there are other football journos who are reporting that Arsenal have given up their pursuit of Raphinha because it seems that he already his eyes set in a move to Barcelona.  :/  So which is which?  Cheesy

And between Arsenal and Barca, I feel like Raphinha could be better off at Barca under Xavi.

The books lined him going to London with the Gunners tho.

2483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2022/2023 on: June 27, 2022, 03:24:01 PM
^  Then again it could also be to their advantage since they're not gonna be having any midweek fixtures flying back and forth across Europe.  They prolly wouldn't really be needing the big name signings much since they'll have an easier schedule this year.  And they've been signing big enough names with a couple of big name managers since SAF left, no bueno.  It's really time to rebuild.

I fancy them to finish top 4 with either the Spurs or Chelsea dropping to 5th.
2484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: June 27, 2022, 03:15:04 PM
I don't see a better outcome for Max than he had in the previous two. At best a split decision loss, at worst Alex takes his soul. That is all based on how Alex has improved in the last couple of fights, and how Max has stayed the same. It's understandable, the milage on Holloway, he's far past improving that much. Don't get me wrong, he is still relevant to the top 5 in the division, but not on a champion status.

I had Holloway winning the rematch but it was close and could've gone either way.  I guess if the judges gave to Holloway I'm pretty sure a lot of guys could argue for Volk and I'd totally understand.

Anyway here's my lottery ticket.  I have more confidence on Pereira and Du Plessis who are lined close by the books than the 'clear favorites' Volk, O'Malley and Turner.  Volk vs Holloway could be close...  Again.  Munhoz has solid leg kicks and could hit a nerve in O'Malley's leg.  Lol.  And Turner is up against Brad Riddell who is pretty good himself.

Adesanya - Muniz at 1.80
Add:  Pereira - Du Plessis at 6.37
Add:  Volk - O'Malley - Turner at 25.99
Add:  Lawler - Garry - Clarke at 136.45
Add:  Eye at 409.35

I'm not sure how to read this.  But there have been huge swaps like this happening over the weekend.  :/

These guys prolly know what's coming this week and don't want to spook the market by selling down at centralized exchanges?  That would suck.  I was kinda hoping that this little run would at least knock on 1700 or something.  Which was where support and resistance flipped a couple of weeks ago.
2486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: June 26, 2022, 11:08:18 PM
I genuinely feel sorry for whoever has to fight Tsarukyan next. He's going to be proper angry, not only because he lost a close decision, but his wrestling was pretty much nullified, and in fact you could say he lost pretty much every exchange. Every shot he took was either stopped in its tracks or he got reversed.

Honestly, I see both of these guys at the top of the division, and the top five are probably a little worried about how well rounded the two are. Plus, Tsarukyan is super talented for his age, I didn't realise he was so young. Definitely has the upper hand on Gamrot there.

Lmaooo yup!  I think the UFC match makers are gonna give him a break and match him up vs another ranked opponent and give him an opportunity to move up.  Sometimes you just never know what these judges are gonna do or if they're really watching the same fight.

Anyway won my top ticket so I'm happy and won't have to make another deposit for the next event.  Grin

tokeweed I don't think there really are ETH maxis, who are comparable to BTC maxis. There definitely are a few whale accumulators but you also have to understand from the perspective of PoS which makes it of course more valuable to hold and stake to earn 'interest'.

Anyway I think darewaller has a point about 3k nothing to be shocked about, although it does seem a bit optimistic for 3x gains in 6 months left to the year but ETH 2.0 might just be cause for that.

What do you mean?  They aren't as cringey as the BTC maxis?  Cheesy

And yeah, while I agree ETH rising back up to around 3k USD isn't really anything to be shocked about because really it's just around 3x, it could also go side ways or even worse...  Drop down below 1k USD and stay there for a little while.  Which would also be not too surprising since we are still in a bear market.  :/
2488  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: June 25, 2022, 04:16:33 PM
^  I think another thing Rollbit could do is have like a VIP reward system that instead of offering rake back or token rewards, players would be give a way to accumulate points and earn an NFT if some VIP level is reached.  NFT's is all the rage these days and it kinda reminds me of the altcoin boom during 2016 - 2017 bull run.  But it looks like a lot of the guys here in the forum missed that boat.  The prices for the good ones are ridiculous.
2489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: June 25, 2022, 03:57:06 PM
My Picks and what I think would happen in some fights on the UFC Fight Night: Tsarukyan vs. Gamrot

Arman Tsarukyan VS Mateusz Gamrot

Stake odds for this fight are 1.36 for Tsarukyan while 3.20 for Gamrot, and For this fight, it can be a very close fight but for me, Arman Tsarukyan is very well-rounded, he can finish on stand-up or on the ground and a notable fight was against Islam Makhachev that it was a great fight to watch Tsarukyan switching stance on Makhachev, on the 1st round both fighters done a mistake but Makhachev really is fast to have seen that, I say Tsarukyan did a great job defending and countering Makhachev but to no extend Islam Makhachev has a better technique, but against Mateusz Gamrot I think Arman Tsurukyan has a better view with wrestling and grappling on the ground, so my pick is definitely Arman Tsarukyan,

Neil Magny VS Shavkat Rakhmonov

Stake odds for this fight are 4.20 for Magny while 1.23 for Rakhmonov, Well, I don't really don't like Neil Magny and I really don't like him either, but surely this man has good striking, ground and pound game, and has good wrestling as well, and I think this is a good chance for Shavkat Rakhmonov to test his endurance and if he can beat Magny, but for me, I think Shavkat Rakhmonov is an exception, and I surely always compares him to Khamzat Chimaev, because of their style, and from that even though Neil Magny has some advantage over the experience, I am pretty confident over Shavkat Rakhmonov, so my pick is Shavkat Rakhmonov,

Thiago Moisés VS Christos Giagos

Stake odds for this fight are 1.39 for Moises, while 3.05 for Giagos, for this fight I say Moises has better striking and can surely have a decent Wrestling as well, while his opponent Giagos may have decent stand-up, but I think Moises, can execute it perfectly if he found the right distance to shot his punches because I think Moises can sure fight smartly with technical striking, so my pick will be Thiago Moises,

Umar Nurmagomedov VS Nate Maness

Stake Odds for this fight are 7.40 for Maness while 1.09 for Nurmagomedov, clearly many see this as a onesided fight base on the odds favorite, but I think this is a good test for Umar Nurmagomedov, Nate Maness has the striking capability and got power in his punches but with Nurmagomedov, the distance will be crucial because Umar is kicking in his offense, he got a blinding speed on his kicks, but when the fight goes to the ground this could be highly advantageous for Umar Nurmagomedov, so my pick will be Umar Nurmagomedov,

^  I think that would make a solid parlay.  It's lined at 2.52 right now which I think is just ok if you just want a little action for the event and to keep things interesting.  Moises tho..  He should win but it's hard to trust him after losing really bad to Joel Alvarez.

Nurmagomedov should win, Rakhmonov should win and Tsarukyan should win but this one could be close.  But will still win imho.

Anyway here are the weigh ins and the fwce offs.  Nobody missed weight.

2490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MMA Info and Predictions - Bellator, KSW, PFL, ONE... on: June 25, 2022, 03:48:42 PM
Good MMA action is coming this week with Bellator 282 and main event Mousasi vs Eble in Middleweight Championship title fight.
I never watched Johnny Eblen fight before, but he has amazing perfect record 11-0, but veteran Gegard Mousasi is in great form so I am expecting great fight.
Mousasi is a big favorite and he is defending the title, so something special needs to happen for him to lose his belt.
From other fights I think that Magomed Magomedov vs Enrique Barzola is worth watching with few others.

http://www.bellator.com/

Watched the replay of the main event just now...  And wow, this Elben guy is impressive.  I don't think I've seen Mousasi dominated by a wrestler like that for most of the match.  And Elben was lined at 3.25 too.  Just shows that MMA is sometimes pretty hard to cap.

And what makes Elben's win kinda extraordinary is Mousasi was a highly ranked fighter in the UFC who left.  He wasn't cut from the roster or anything.  He just left under his own volition.  I think that makes Elben deserving to get a slot in the UFC.  He could be top 10.  Lol.  Grin
2491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Sentiment Poll for June on: June 24, 2022, 05:05:33 PM
^  Just like how BTC maxis like to buy dips, tho they forget that there's a dip to the dip to the dippity dip, ETH maxis also like to get in for as low a possible.  And with the merge coming, ETH should rise over 3k some time in 2023 imho.  But then again we'll see.  I can't wait for either scenario.  If ETH does merge with the beacon chain, maxis get annoyed and be all hate.  And if it doesn't, maxis be all annoyed like they cared and still be all hate.  Cheesy

Anyway I think the next poll for July would be if ETH can go up over 1700 - 1800.

Edit:  Looking at the monthly...  It don't look good fam.
2492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: June 24, 2022, 04:52:43 PM

I got Moises at my top ticket too.  But I feel like he'll be the pie shitter of the week.  Another one could be TJ Brown if his cardio doesn't during the third round if it does reach the third.

Anyway here's my lottery ticket for the event.  Wish me luck.  Lol.

Nurmagomedov - Rakhmonov - Moises 1.90
Brown - Tskauryan - Ulberg at 7.68
Paiva - Curtis - Buys at 45
Baudot -  Frey at 195
Kelleher at 265

Took chances on Paiva and Kelleher as underdogs.  Kinda kicking myself for putting Ulberg on top of Curtis.  Dunno..  At the time I was back and forth between him and Vieira.

Actually, I am cool with Thiago Moises, but his opponent really is intimidating, I know intimidation can not hurt anyone but don't let it go into your head, because that intimidation can surely also cause a win, for Christos Giagos but still I am going with Moises here I will put my picks tomorrow pretty much busy lately, but you got yourself a decent lottery picks there so I really wish you good luck to that,

Yup..  Moises should be better on the feet and the ground.  It's just remembering him making Joel Alvarez looking like effing  Anderson Silva out there worries me.

Kelleher fight is going to be absolutely crazy I think. His opponent going into the fight as a favourite, and probably rightfully so. I just think Kelleher can be a tricky fighter at times, and will get it done. That's probably my fight of the night there.

I feel like he's going to keep pressuring Bautista, grinding him by cage and spam take downs the whole fight.  Kelleher could get a decent amount of control time and make it really close.  And he has an over hand right that could rock Bautista.

So yeah...  Official weigh ins live.  It started a little over an hour ago.

You know...  I'm just talking out of my ass again.  Lol.  But think about it, why would FJ not bring it back?  It has been a huge success.  Maybe they're trying to make it look better..  or better yet, Majestic 7 for all the other major leagues around Europe?  Wink  And another one better, Majestic 7 type games for all the other more popular sports like basketball, baseball, hand egg and even MMA?  Yeah too much but a guy can hope.  Cheesy  But imagine how many people it can attract to the site.

Having Majestic 7 for all major leagues as well as for other sports will cost them a lot of money unless there is at least a requirement in order to participate, lets say to place a bet with a specific min bet for every round. Having regular 1 Majestic 7 every season is more than enough especially it is a 100% free promotion. Anyway, I also hope the Majestic 7 will come back for the next EPL season. Maybe they can combine some major leagues into the next Majestic 7.

Does it really cost them 'a lot' of money tho?  It's pretty hard to get all 7 correct goal scorers every match day weekend and the 10k to win if you do get it right is the limit.  Meaning even if you and a couple of other guys get it right the three of you split the prize three ways.  So get La Liga, Serie A and the Bundesliga in together with the EPL, that's 40k total for first prize on the line every weekend for the whole season.  Not that huge for all the attention garnered by the site imho.

They got something great going.  I don't think they'll stop just yet.  If anything, they should expand if not for this bear market.  :/

I haven't looked at the outrights yet but as for the poll, I gotta pick City.  I mean they're due to win it this time right?  They've been so close for a couple of years now...  Third time's a charm me thinks.  And Guardiola rides with a huge W into the sunset.

2495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: June 24, 2022, 01:42:25 PM
I'm feeling confident about Thiago Moisés. Think he'll get the job done. So, my early leans for the underdogs is; Cody Durden at 2.00, that's pretty good odds going up against JP. Kelleher at 2.30, he's a tricky fighter, and I imagine he'll do quite well. Nchukwi at 2.00 too. Vieira at 2.30. I honestly think this might be a night for the underdogs, and at some good value too. I honestly thought some of the above would've been the favourites.
Moses is one of my main bets on this fight card, and Umar Nurmagomedov to win against Nate Maness but this bet has very low betting odds.
I am not so excited and main event maybe because it's not big names, but both of them have amazing MMA record with only one or two lost fights.
For me this fight card is just a warm up for next UFC 276 event Adesanya vs Cannonier.

I would consider that Glover took first and fourth rounds, and Prochazka second and third. That is my imho. However, on official score cards, Teixeira was leading.

Even if he would lose fifth round, he would still be a winner. I would say that it was a very close fight. Half a minute and Teixera would be still a chamption. I would even be glad to see a Teixera vs Prochazka 2, UFC likes to do series of fights after all.

What do you think about those funny taps that Jiri made several times? I have counted 3 of them. If a fight judges wasnt experienced much, he would have stopped the fight and call Teixeira a winner.

I had him leading too.  Haven't watched it again tho.  But if Teixeira didn't gas out he'd def win it.  Prochazka has a lot of holes in his game.  His athleticism and youth won him the match.  Imagine if Teixeira was 5 years younger, he could school him in the cage.  So yeah..  I hope next in line for a title shot would be another old vet in Blachowicz.  The 205 champ will def have another tough one imho.

Good recovery from Ferrari but Sainz had no possibility to overtake Max.

Impressive race for Mercedes, they are getting closer to the top once again.

The FIA gave them a favor.  Lol.  Didn't the FIA change some regulation with the height of the cars from the ground to help Mercedes with their problems with porpoising citing 'safety concerns'?  I think changing the rules in the middle of the season could set a bad precedent for the sport.  If they start doing it now, they could do it again and again as the season progresses.

Next couple of races should be good.  Silverstone then Austria.  Wheee.

Current market price is below $1000 but we will see small corrections in low timeframe charts soon. After each correction selling and joining bears will be best decision, risk is always there and you have to accept it before trading, IMHO.
it's time to buy, $ 1000 is a strong support for Ethereum,
and look at the price had dropped below $ 1000 and now the price is back above $ 1000,
this is because the sentiment from the market is really saturated to continue down, will definitely rebound,
maybe $ 1500 or $ 2000 before there is another dump, take advantage of it
I agree, 1000 is definitely one of the best prices to buy ETH right now, not saying that it can't go down more, it can definitely go down more and just because there is a resistance doesn't mean that it has to fail.

But, when you see a strong resistance like this, it is very important to end up finding a bit of money to invest right now so you could make a good return. I mean think about it, making 5x is not that difficult when you buy ETH at this price, it is only 5k and that's nothing we can't do when the bull is back, hell even 10k+ could happen and that is more than 10x return and I bet that everyone is loving that. Hence I would suggest buying right now for sure.

It could be but I'm still hopeful for 500 bucks some time later this year before the merge.  The current bounce is a natural reaction after a huge sell down.  Shorts should start covering around the current range as a pump could spook them from being squeezed.  There's also a threat of being stop run by whales...  As for how high the bounce is, no idea.  But open an hourly chart and see that there's some resistance at the 1240 - 1260 range.
