Dunno man...  Andrade is just too good.  I'm not sure why the UFC is matching up Blanchfield vs girls who are too high up.  It was supposed to be vs Talia Santos before she pulled out due to injury.  Santos is ranked no. 1 and had a good showing vs Shev losing just via split decision.

Now Andrade is filling in on short notice.  She's no. 3 in the women's 125 ranking.  But maybe I'm wrong.  Maybe the UFC see something in Blanchfield.  :/  But from what I've seen, it's a huge step up.

And yup...  It's a filler event before 285 with Jones vs Gane.  As I always say, it's better than nothing.

For me, it is really unfair to be pitted against Jéssica Andrade and Andrade can be too much for Blanchfield but I think when it comes to wrestling me Erin Blanchfield has the level to dominate even Molly McCann was overwhelmed by it and humble because Blanchfield's technique, but when it comes to power Jéssica Andrade surely have that can could be a pain to Erin Blanchfield for sure, but still, I am supporting the fighting kitty Erin Blanchfield for accepting this challenge,

Yeah and it's Andrade on short notice in a 5 round fight.  Cardio could be an issue...  So there are some things where Blanchfield could have the edge.  But I heard Andrade never left Vegas and she continued to train in the UFC PI after her last match.

And we can't really put too much stock on Blanchfield's win vs McCann as she sucks just like how Paddy Pimblet sucks.  Lol.  They're just a couple of hyped up fighters.  Pimblet could still improve tho.

William knight is my bet of the night. He has shown in recent fights he has the ability to mix his attacks up. I always thought he was a knock out artist but he showed some good wrestling. I think the problem with Knight is he is so heavy because of all the muscle he is carrying that he finds it hard to keep up with his opponent but I think he will get the knock out this time and I think going for a round 1 knockout is the best value.

William Knight isn't really that good.  But between him and Prachnio, I agree with the pick cos Prachnio sucks more.  Lol.

Another tape to watch.

The thing with Volk is he wasn't finished as easy as how the lines showed.  The lines were so wide they gave Volk's line some value.  The lines should've been closer to 1.90 for both or maybe slight favorite for Makhachev.  But we know books juice these lines so if there's a rematch they will prolly lay it at Makhachev at 1.50 -1.60 or something.

Anyway on to the most exciting event of the year.  I can't wait!  Grin  My lottery ticket will prolly look something like this..

Bueno Silva - Pogues
Add:  Andrade - Fletcher - Carpenter
Add:  Knight - OSP
Add:  Emmers - Elder - Hernandez
Add:  Wright

^  Not financial advice.  Pie shtters are all around.  Lol.

And don't forget to make your picks at the Multi Master.

CL is already at the KO stages.  buwaytress change the title and let's get more people in here.  One CL thread nobody likes to talk to me and the other one has a ton of people saying the same things over and over.  Nobody likes to talk to me there too.  I just need a little betting advice from everybody but nobody likes to share their leans, picks and analysis.  Cheesy

Anyway, Club Bruges vs Benfica and BVB vs Chelsea.  No idea how these other clubs are doing other than Chelsea.  But I know enough to know that Benfica is better than Bruges and BVB is a decent club in the Bundesliga.  At first glance I like Benfica to win with under 4.5 goals combo at 2.02 and BVB double chance to win or draw and BTTS combo at 2.29.  What do you guys think?
1506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: February 15, 2023, 08:23:58 AM
I've practically given up this season, as I forgot to predict yet again. I don't know how many rounds now I've missed, quite a few I suspect. Anyhow, I'll probably still post my predictions in here from time to time, and how I feel about certain games, but if anything you shouldn't take my advise, and instead do the exact opposite since I've been absolutely dreadful at predicting the outcomes this season.

It just feels like a odd season, and I've barely watched any of it too.

But from a betting perspective I like BTTS and over 2.5 goals combo at 2.06.  It could end up 2 - 1 with either club capable of getting the W.
I'm liking it, the very little I've seen of both teams they've looked susceptible in defense. So, BTTS I'd say is pretty likely. I don't know if I feel confident on betting on one of them to win though. I think it might finish 1-1.

Lmao same.  I do add Premier League matches in making long shot parlays with my free bets won from jeremypwr's threads in games and rounds.  And almost always, it's my pick in the EPL that spoils the ticket.

For single bets I'd rather make over/under picks, BTTS and team totals if they have a little bit of value.  And I think BTTS and over 2.06 has a little bit of value as the match could happen like it's gonna be 1 - 1 before the 60th minute and I'm comfy waiting for another goal from either club.

It seems many are still lingering with the UFC 284 and its result but certainly we are having another event and it is

UFC Fight Night: Andrade vs. Blanchfield
So many unknown fighters in this fight and I don't see any underdog is worth to bet except the main card. Andrade is experienced but she's always lost when she fight with fighter who stronger than her, while Blanchfield she have a good record and this is her first test to fight with a high rank fighter. I see a possibility Blanchfield will pull an upset, she have a tough chin and I believe Andrade wouldn't easily make her fall.

Don't think so.  Lol.  Andrade is a couple of levels higher than Blanchfield and the only reason why the line is a bit close is because Andrade took the match on short notice as the original opponent got injured.

But as far as underdogs go, at first glance I like OSP, Josh Parisian and Jordan Wright.  Themba Gorimbo could be a good one too just cos I want to fade Fletcher.  Lol.

Something to watch...

UFC Free Fight:  Blanchfield vs McCann
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LmLyrVsLh2c

Feels like both can also submit each other if opportunity comes. I'm not sure who to bet though but there is no other fights this Saturday. I can see you are rooting for Blanchfield? She seem new, young and wants to prove something. While Jordan Wright was already fucked 3 in a row, whoever he is fighting will likely to win. Pauga it is.

This card sort of a filler episode in UFC but its still fun to watch still.

Who do you guys got in the upcoming matches for the CL later?  I don't really follow other European leagues other than the Premier League but I feel like both matches, AC Milan vs Tottenham and PSG vs Bayern, will end up as draws with both of them also ending with BTTS.  So I guess a couple of decent bets will be Bayern double chance win or draw and BTTS yes combo at 2.06.  And for the other one it's more of the same but with Tottenham at 2.70.

What do you guys think?  :/
1509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Alts Blood Bath for Feb? on: February 14, 2023, 02:10:57 PM
I'm just looking at charts of ETH and other altcoins rn and I feel like we're in for another blood bath.  And February could end up bad with most alts ending in red for the month.

I'm not sure what's going on and what's causing most of the market's volatility but it's not looking good guys.  Whales look like they're running stops then shorting the market themselves..  Does anybody what's up with the sudden change in sentiment?

Anyway US session starts soon.  Let's see how it goes...
1510  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for February on: February 14, 2023, 01:59:42 PM
Economic performance? Sure. If anything, Bitcoin of the last couple of years, at least 2022 anyway, shows a really strong correlation, particularly with stocks. I can go back all the way to the last true black swan of March 2020 -- Bitcoin's crash, which was nothing if not a direct impact of a global Black Thursday.

Yeah but just saying, there could come a point when the market runs out of sellers and some people still holding their bags start going 'fck it, I'm holding all my sht to zero' aka stop caring about the news and all the economc data they churn out.

Anyway, I've been doing these sentiment threads for a while now, I wonder how the BTC turned out on the month vs user sentiment...  Will check it out if I'm in the mood.  Wink  I feel like we're more in tuned with the market than most folks.

That'll never happen, at least, not for too long but yeah of course, I completely buy into the theory of temporary seller exhaustion. Call it what you want, weak hands all gone, I call it purging of the speculators.

That said, if all we have left are bagholders who aren't using or spending, it's also not good for Bitcoin's long-term health. So in that sense, every seller creates a transaction, so I kind of see them as vital for transactional "health" haha.

Cool if you put sentiment out and forum regs chime in. I want to know if it's a good idea to sell some BTC now to buy back in at a... 25% dip? I never done it and don't play the game but I wonder if, instead of doing that, freeze my DCA for a while to wait for the dip and lump in all in? Don't ask me why I'm suddenly feeling like this heh.

I mean a point when there are less sellers than buyers...  Meaning sell downs happen less and buy ups happen more.  I think we're starting to get to that point or at least when it goes to the 16k - 18k range maybd it does go to that point.  If so then BTC could be range bound from 16k to around 23k - 24k range...  Like sellers  only start to come out at 23k - 24k.  Dunno but seems like we aleeady hit bottom.  I've been thinking about it more lately as I've been here for a long time and I never really bought 'the bottom'.  I usually just buy the momentum and go with it.  Lol.  Leaves some money at the table.
1511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: February 14, 2023, 01:49:49 PM
^  City could give Arsenal a tough match tho...  And it looks like Arsenal is getting figured out.  Last couple of last 6 matches shows that they could be starting to falter.  Guardiola and his boys should go for the jugular.  Which raises my other point...  Emery could go for the jugular too and take advantage knowing that the Gunners doesn't have much rest.

I posted this in Jolly's thread but seems like no one really bets on the matches there...  But what do you guys think of Aston Villa draw no bet is at 3.50 and double chance win or draw is at 2.18?  :/

I think that for City this is a life and death match in the sense that it can decide this Premier League season for them.If they manage to win this game they would go on equal points with Arsenal and then give them a motivational boost to continue their good form but if they lose this game together with this loss they also start losing hopes of winning the Premier League despite this being still mathematically possible.

On an Arsenal point of view they need to win this game at any cost after performing really bad in these last two rounds of the Premier League as if they lose this game they also get hit with a psychological impact that they are not doing well and going from bad to worse.

It's a question of who wants it more imo...  I think with City distracted by all the alleged cheating stuff, Arsenal could snag at least a point here and they could afford to.  City on the other hand has to win and not give anything away and they do have the experience edge.  So maybe City..?  Dunno.

But from a betting perspective I like BTTS and over 2.5 goals combo at 2.06.  It could end up 2 - 1 with either club capable of getting the W.

Easy for me to say of course with the hindsight of the last week, but yeah, it's going to require a full 15% rally, and sustained, to break and stay above $25k. Still very much on the cards, but I wonder if there's just too much uncertainty now to figure in that kind of push in 2.5 weeks --we're about to receive news on full 2022 economic performance and I suspect it will be worse than expected.

But does past economic performance really still have an effect on BTC and the altcoin market?

1514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2022/2023 on: February 13, 2023, 08:59:53 AM
Arsenal losing points at home is not good for them. The points difference in the championship race is closing. While they were doing so well at the beginning of the season, with the 5 points they lost in the last 2 weeks, other teams started to enter the race. If City win tomorrow, the points difference will drop to 3 but they will have played one more game.
Brighton, on the other hand, did not win a game they played well. They have been playing very well this season but they didn't get the result they wanted this time.

And Arteta has Unai Emery and his boys to worry about at the weekend early kick off match.  Aston Villa has a week's rest, is playing at home.  While Arsenal has just a couple of days rest from playing one of the best clubs and is coached by one of the best managers in the EPL.  Again...  There could be value on Aston Villa, Aston Villa draw no bet and Aston Villa double chance win or draw.  IMHO.

I missed the last 5 weeks of the Majestic 7 promo, this week I'll submit my pick soon before the kick off of West Ham vs Chelsea. This match makes me confused already on who to pick, maybe I'll follow yours (Bowen) as it seems that he is the one who scored goals regularly in their last several matches. Other matches also hard to predict, and maybe I'll just follow most of your picks if you dont mind.

If we have posted here it means we are ready to be copied  Smiley I have another option if you're interested
João Félix , Daniel Podence , Aleksandar Mitrović , Harry Kane , Bukayo Saka , Kaoru Mitoma and Callum Wilson
I also participate this week since 2023 of course after seeing @tokeweed's post

Felix is starting to look like a good option.  I'm not sure how he looks on the pitch from the optics side of things but looking at the stats he had two dribbles, three shots and a couple of them on target.  And not just that, he had three tackles.  Not a bad game for the guy.  He was prolly man of the match..?

Anyway, I think I didn't get one pick right.  Lolol.  Til the next one...  We have til May to win the big one.

Khabib predicted the situation when Volkanovski was the back up fighter during Olivera camp and claimed that Alexander Volkanovski would be the toughest opponent for Islam and that was literally what we witnessed and a contender for the best fight of the year.
Right, it's probably because Khabib identified that Oliveira basically leaves himself open a lot, and while he's good on the ground, he almost always gets rocked by his opponents. The difference is, a lot of the fighters aren't confident enough on the ground to follow up, and when they do they get caught in a submission. Although, Islam knew that he's good enough on the ground he can avoid that or at least feel confident enough to engage. That, ultimately was the difference. Volk probably finds Charles quite comfortable, since he doesn't really need to engage on the ground, and is quite comfortable getting decision wins. Although, he's more than capable of knocking Charles out in one punch too.

I think it was the wrong game plan for Makhachev to strike with Volk for that long.  I'm not saying Makhachev isn't a good striker but it would've been better for him to be more relentless with the take downs, wear Volk down and try to finish him with either via GnP or via sub.

And...  What did I tell you?  Who's the pie shtter.  Cheesy  And the funny thing is I got another lottery ticket up with Tyson Pedro at the top ticket.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy  By the main card I was so drunk I couldn't see straight.  I didn't care anymore.  Lolol.
1518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2022/2023 on: February 11, 2023, 05:26:29 PM
RESULTS:

West Ham United 1-1 Chelsea
Arsenal 1-1 Brentford
Crystal Palace 1-1 Brighton and Hove Albion
Fulham 2-0 Nottingham Forest
Leicester City 4-1 Tottenham Hotspur
Southampton 1-2 Wolverhampton Wanderers

Tottenham take one step forward then another step back, what is going on with them if they lost at Leicester 4-1. Chelsea could only manage a draw at West Ham.

Arsenal could not beat Brentford but are still top of the Premier League table. They are just 6 points ahead of Manchester City and 8 points ahead of Manchester United.

^  And you forgot to mention how Southampton lost to Wolverhampton with just 10 men.  Lol.

Surprise of the weekend is Leicester.  Lulz of weekend is Tottenham.  Cheesy  But hey...  It's Tottenham.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Arsenal could be starting to decline in performance and they're going against Aston Villa away next weekend.  It could be a good spot to fade the Gunners imho.  Aston Villa draw no bet is at 3.50 and double chance win or draw is at 2.18.

Could also be good to take those bets before Arsenal's midweek match vs City.
1519  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for February on: February 11, 2023, 05:13:23 PM
Personally I think breaking $25K this month could be a bit early, especially if most people are expecting it to happen already. I think March is more realistic, though wouldn't rule out breaking above $25K in the next week or two. I think it depends more so if current prices or $21K level will hold as support, if not then it will likely take price longer to consolidate if $20K (accumulation) levels are re-visited.

I feel like after FTX's demise, the crypto market showed that it had nothing more give in terms of sell downs and went down not by much if we compare it with the Luna fiasco.  If the market really had more sell downs to give I think it would've went down to 12k?  Dunno...  But it sure looks like there aren't much sellers at the 16k - 20k range.

A lot of you guys would prolly welcome another sell down to 16k just so you could pick more up.
1520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NFT Speculation on: February 11, 2023, 05:02:29 PM
^  I guess it depends on the NFT.  If it has a huge and loyal following it could hold values of 50 ETH or more.  I mean look at the most popular NFT's, like Apes and Punks..  They're so valued high, I don't know why, but they are.  And yeah, I def know it's funny.  Grin  But who doesn't want to make some ETH out of it?  For a 300 - 500 USD investment which could go 10x or more, why not?

I think Apes started for around 0.2 ETH then went up to over 100 ETH then landed at where it is today.  78 ETH or so.  Still not bad if you hold a couple imho.
