Hey FJ, I seem to have a problem as I can't log in to the site.  It accepts my email or username and password just fine but then it just doesn't log me in.  I tried both email and username and also tried to type the wrong password on purpose just to see.  And it does prompt me that I have typed the wrong password.  So meaning there's nothing wrong with my username or email and password.

The last time I logged in the site, I removed 2FA and was able use the site with no problems.  Could the removal of 2FA caused the problem?

^  Wait...  There's a fine if a Russian flag is displayed by the fighter?  I know Russian flags were disallowed in F1 but I didn't notice it was also the same in the UFC or even football.
No flags of any country will be carried by any fighter and that is the new policy by the UFC, if any fighters violate them, there wont be any fine but probably released from the UFC and that is how Dana White usually conducts business, his way or the highway  Cheesy.

Yeah..  But I think some people are trying to pin the issue totally on Dana White or the UFC.  He has his hands tied and he prolly doesn't give a fk which flag you wave around during walk outs.  You could wave a flag around that says the UFC sucks and he wouldn't care.  It's the United States gov imposing those rules as Russia is currently 'the enemy'.  It's a weird time.

Anyway, you guys got any picks and bets for this weekend's event?  There are some pretty good match ups in here...  Levy vs Valdez is gonna be good, Price vs Rowe, Hermansson vs Dolidze, Tuivasa vs Pavlovich and Nicolau vs Schnell.

^  What do you mean?  Binotto wasn't team principal for Ferrari until the year 2019.  If he's going to step down, he should likely be back to his role back as the chief technical officer.  But if you're saying that he should totally be given the sack then who should replace him?  I've said this before but I'll say it again, I think it's going to be a mistake.  I'm sure some of you would disagree just because, but ok..  A part of me wants to see Binotto get the sack just to see if I'm right or not.  Lol.  It's going to be a big loss for Ferrari, I feel like.

If there is no better replacement then maybe it is going to be an error but the fact that Ferrari is not winning a title from the distant year of 2007 says a lot about how the team is being managed, not in the best way I would say and there has been some changes in the direction with Binotto also being promoted in 2019 but he was there a lot of years before so in this context I think his time has come only if the replacement will bring better result to the team.Unfortunately for this year he took all the blame despite the team strategy being screwed up by other members but since he is the principal those people are there with his approval so it is normal all the rage to be geared toward him.In this context I think this year has been really bad for Ferrari starting as heavy favorites and losing because of terrible mistakes.

Binotto is a good engineer.  It's just Mercedes was dominating F1 due to their engine advantage after the sport's switch to the V6 engines.  But they did almost win during 2018.  If not for some of Vettel's errors and esp in Germany, of all places, I think they would've won the title.

Ferrari needs a good team principal and a good race strategist.  The race strategist they have now is a clown.  There were races when ot was Sainz told the team what to do.  Lol.

Pulisic to Arsenal please.  I would love to see him play in Arteta's system and Arteta has the kind of man to man managerment style that makes a footballer play better and up to his potential.  Gabriel Jesus is a good example of it.  I thought Jesus was done after he left City but lo and behold, he is flourishing in Arsenal under Arteta's system.  I think Pulisic could thrive too.

Newcastle would be another decent destination...  Moving to Man United would def be a big mistake as everybody already knows why.  Ten Hag could even leave by mutual consent at the end of the season.

1807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Doge can it go 1$ on: November 28, 2022, 04:22:48 PM
The ath reached by doge is close to $0.74 which is almost near to $1. With the occurrence of Twitter there is big expectation over the price of dogecoin. We don't know how far this will go in real-time, but Elon Musk being a cryptocurrency influencer have got the ability to drive the price.

The market being bearish, and a positive drive of dogecoin can be easily identified as manipulation. To experience the regular growth we need to have the patience for the market transition. Maybe during the next bullish move along with the support of Elon Musk this could happen.

Yup, Elon Musk would just sneeze about DOGE and it would be up by more than 10% in a day.  Lol.  I know a lot of folks in crypto hates him these days but I'm rooting for him to hype DOGE and to take it as high as he can take it.  That's the key in looking for the next great 1000x coin.  If DOGE trends up to 1 USD, there's a pretty good chance one of these other microcap dog coins around 1m USD market cap or under could be the next 1000x.  So keep your eyes peeled.

I started a thread about looking for the next great 1000x and one of the criteria is it has to be a dog coin.  Lol.  Cheesy
1808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for the Next Great 1000x on: November 28, 2022, 04:08:45 PM

And here, just to let you guys know I already made my bet for my next 1000x.  I won't tell you exactly what it is to avoid the blame game but will tell you a year or two later.  What we'll do is follow the coin's progress.  I'll be posting the chart every now and then.  I have around 100m coins of this which I spent 200 USD on.  Small risk.  It's a micro cap coin with a market cap of around 1m when I got in.

If you think you don't want to tell us the name of that coin, wouldn't it better to just close this thread? No point to keep this thread open while you just keep it hidden

Rofl now why would I do that?   The idea of starting the thread isn't about which coin we're supposed to be holding or what coin I'm holding but it's about what criterias are good to somehow find and luck box the next 1000x coin.

But what I'm gonna do is tell everybody which coin it is I'm holding in around a year or so, doesn't matter if it's up or down.  As said, it's all for fun.  And tbh, I bought the coin must to put money where my mouth is.

-cut-
It must have a dog logo.  What can I say, memecoins seem to go up by a lot more than the rest of the market.
-cut-
This made me laugh out loud.
But your list is spot on. I would like to add that it needs to be new token/coin that people haven't yet tweeted about, at least not too much. Preferably with no advertising bounties. Old projects under 10M marketcap have either died or something bad has happened behind the scene. Something that no one is interested in them, so unless you know some inside news about those, you are betting on a dead horse.

Also no price talk on the channel gives a professional touch that makes me think it's already more mature and professional then 90% projects out there.

Yup!  You get it and prolly the only guy who got the idea of the thread.  I will include your criteria in the OP, good advice.

1810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2022/2023 on: November 28, 2022, 02:42:50 PM
I think it is very difficult for Manchester United to finish the season ahead of Liverpool. Because I don't see a more impressive game by them comparing to Liverpool. Yeah, Liverpool have had a really inconsistent run so far as well but they have a bigger potential than Manchester United anyway.

First of all, Liverpool are more productive than them in the league right now. Manchester United's main problem has been this for a long time period. They just waste too many goal opportunities and this causes them to suffer a big hardship indeed. I expect to see Klopp making a good progress in the rest of the season. Liverpool had this kind of times before and they know how to deal with it as well.

What do you mean difficult?  Man United is up by 4 points against Liverpool in the league.  It could be the other way around imho, as Liverpool has the UCL to worry about and getting top 4 in the league and the couple domestic cups.  United isn't in the same kind of pressure Liverpool is in judging from how much each of them spent on transfers during the summer.

At the start of the season not many people would have thought Newcastle United would be sitting in third place. Now they are there, how many people think they will maintain their form and be able to finish in a Champions League position at the end of the season?

It is difficult to see Manchester City falling out of the top four, likewise on current form it is the same for Arsenal therefore Newcastle United will have to fight for the remaining two Champions League places with Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester United. I see all four teams having stronger squads than Newcastle United and am confident two of the other four will end up playing in the Champions League next season.

It's not going to be that hard for Newcastle, looking at the current of Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham and United.  Lol.  Eddie Howe good, Newcastle good, Saudi oiler money good.  Wink
1811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 28, 2022, 01:51:53 PM
Premier League is the big fish here while Serie A is the small fish (like all the others leagues).

If they come with 120-150m € and test they can, any player from Seria A, Liga, or Bundesliga will leave for England.

Any.

The Big fish eats the small fish.

If we take top clubs like Real Madrid, Bayern, PSG, then any club from England except City will be a small fish. If we are talking about United, which cannot guarantee the player participation in the Champions League, then this fish becomes very small.
By the way, the situation in the Premier League is quite funny - there are too many contenders for the top 4 and no club other than City can be sure that they will play in the Champions League.

But in England, what makes a 'big fish' big?  Surely Man United is one of the biggest fishes in the league as far as how they are as a company.  They got one of the widest global reaches of any club possible.  But in terms of current market value of their squad, sure not as big as City, Liverpool or Chelsea.

But that could only be because their players are losing value in the transfer market.  They could be on par or slightly higher than Chelsea if value was still at the prices they were acquired.

^  True that.  Even tho Dana White has been given negative press every now and them, deserved or not deserved, one thing I really love about him is the guy dgaf.  When it was the height of the pandemic, he went on while everybody was on lock down and it turned out to be the best decision.  People needed that sense of normalcy.

I think it sucks for Teixeira as he lost his opportuntiy to go at it another time.  I'm not sure why the UFC decided to drop him from the chance to get an interim belt.
It was not UFC to blame this time, Teixeira made this decision to refuse this fight on his own, maybe because he knows how serious opponent Ankalaev is and he would probably lose a fight.
People probably underestimate ANkalaev is same way like they did it with Khabib when he was starting to win his fights, and then he cleaned up all division  Cheesy
This is perfect time for Ankalaev to take fast road to championship belt, and it's going to be hard for other guys to come back after serious injuries.
Someone said that Jiri shoulder injury is worst injury he ever saw in UFC.

Oof Ankalaev may be a slow starter and a low volume fighter but he's tough.  And pretty sure Teixeira had a camp tailored and trained for a specific opponent in Prochazka.  But what also sucks for Teixeira is his age.  He wouldn't get as much opportunities if he misses the first one that drops on his lap.
1813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 26, 2022, 02:39:50 PM
Joao Felix has decided to left Atletico Madrid this winter so he asking to his agent looking for new clubs in January this because he hasn't feel to comfortable anymore in Atletico especially during this season he cannot earn trust from Simeone and always be starting the match in the bench and some rumours mentioned Joao Felix want to play outside Spanish league and probably will joined England clubs and his agent offering him to Manchester United because this team was required new forward player but Manchester United hasn't respond this news yet however Joao Felix has contract clause 150 million euro so i was wondering which clubs are willing to buy him and release this clause

I am not always happy to see such a young talent always play from the bench. I don't know if he has any fall out with Simeone why he is benched. I used to compare Joa Felix with the like of Liuz Diaz of Liverpool. I support Felix to leave but we have to understand that his performance in this world will determine his work and the number of clubs that will be available to buy him. I wish him luck in the world cup

Simeone is a good manager.  Maybe Joao Felix isn't good enough for what he wants in his squad?  It could also be stylistic differences when what the manager wants isn't the skills that the player has.  Perfect example of this is Kevin De Bruyne.  He was at Chelsea back in the day and couldn't get in the starting line up under Mourinho.  So he moved to Germany where he played for Wolfsburg.  Then a couple of seasons later, Guardiola acquired him and turned out to be one of the best midfielders in EPL history.

It was funny how that turned out.  A loss of one club is another club's gain.  A huge gain.
1814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: November 26, 2022, 02:32:47 PM
What do you guys think about fight between Magomed Ankalaev and Jan Blachowicz for vacant belt title fight?
Early odds are suggesting Ankalaev is a big favorite and I think he can beat Blachowicz in less than five rounds.
There is almost no value in betting on Ankalaev but I don't believe Blachowicz can beat this guy now.
UFC 282 is starting on December 10 and Sportsbet released odds on their website:
https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/mma/ufc/ufc-282-prochazka-vs-teixeira-2/blachowicz-jan-vs-ankalaev-magomed-63571e41a4a74ff7f0e20a36

I think it sucks for Teixeira as he lost his opportuntiy to go at it another time.  I'm not sure why the UFC decided to drop him from the chance to get an interim belt.  Why not have him fight either Ankalaev or Blachowicz...  As for Ankalaev vs Blachowicz, remember we  were talking about the site that had outrights betting on the UFC with a line for Ankalaev to become champ before December 31, 2022 at 10.00 or was it 5.00..?  I can't remember but it looks like that ticket is about to win if somebody bet on it.  Smiley
1815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for the Next Great 1000x on: November 26, 2022, 02:19:35 PM
Guys...  I read all of your replies.  No one said it would be really easy to find the next 1000x as it would take a little bit of gamble from our part.  If it was easy, we'd all be millionaires.  But the criteria stands.

Anyway, it would also be nice to hear all of your suggestions to add in the criteria.  Remember, this is all for the lulz and we don't have to take ourselves seriously here. So yeah, for me the best chance to get lucky for a 1000x is going to be a micro cap dog coin.

1816  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hacker of FTX dumping ETH for BTC on: November 25, 2022, 05:01:56 PM
Lol.  Whoever is in control of those coins is def laundering them.  We can't even be sure anymore if the news about the coins held by the Bahaminian government and the coins held by the hacker are the same thing.  It could all be smokes and mirrors at this point as there are some groups out there want to steal it for themselves.

What they could do is convert to renBTC, then to real BTC, deposit to lower tier exchanges and convert to XMR.  From there it could go anywhere.

Yep, this makes most sense for now. With the small note that they can easily stay on Bitcoin and mix the coins, so they don't risk another exchange; or maybe go to XMR after mixing.

You could use a mixer but I don't think lower tier exchanges won't bother doing all the work in linking the ETH wallet holding renBTC to the BTC wallet where the conversion went.  I'm talking about the really low tier exchanges here that have XMR listed like Trade Ogre.  Rofl.  And does Yobit still exist?  Cheesy  That was a fun one.
1817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / [MEMECOINS] Looking for the Next Great 1000x on: November 25, 2022, 04:55:18 PM
I've seen a couple or so newbie accounts asking for a 'criteria' on how to choose an altcoin that would have the greatest potential to be a 1000x coin.

I'm gonna throw around some ideas but as all of you already know, this is in no way financial advice.  This is just all for the lulz and it would be cool if you guys throw your own ideas in the mix too...  So here goes.

Criteria to find the next 1000x coin:

It must not be listed in any of the major exchanges.  This is not a hard rule but I noticed that 1000x coins are mostly unknown.

It must have a dog logo.  What can I say, memecoins seem to go up by a lot more than the rest of the market.

Be mindful of market cap.  The lower, the better.  If a coin's market cap is 100m, 1000x would be 100b.  Lol.  It would take a lot of money to pump it that high.  But if the market cap is just 1 million, 1000x would be 1 billion.  It's much more possible it could happen imho.

That's it for now.

Edit:  Great criteria here...

I would like to add that it needs to be new token/coin that people haven't yet tweeted about, at least not too much. Preferably with no advertising bounties. 1818  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for November on: November 25, 2022, 04:27:05 PM
^  I wouldn't stop and say 12k is the bottom if BTC does drop to 12k.  Things seem to get worse before they get really worse.  Cheesy

^  12k?  Oof that's gonna hurt for sure.  Cheesy

I'm back and forth between 'we hit the bottom' and 'we're going to see another leg down below 15k'.  The logic behind 'we already hit bottom' is the FTX fiasco, which I consider to be waaay worse than Gox's fiasco, didn't even put much of a dent on the price.  I'd expect a hit that huge would bring BTC lower than where it ended up being.  I mean sure it broke down June lows but 15k - 16k isn't a long way off from 17.5k.  I think there just aren't any more sellers left.
But we still have a full year of bear market in 2023?

So probably we will see another leg down below $15k, maybe not this year as he have hit the bottom already. But looking at the bigger picture, who knows, there could be another news that will put the market into another frenzy.

I for now thinks that $17.5k is the lowest low for this year, but look at where the price is right now.

Then since we're entering to realms of speculation, it's a speculation board after all, would you say that it's also in the realm of possibility that BTC could go back down to 4 digit numbers?  I think the powers that be in crypto wouldn't allow it and will protect a certain level for Bitcoin in order to stop the bleeding or it will take the whole space with it.  Imagine the smell if there was a huge sell down to 6k - 8k.  Sure it could recover but not without causing any damage.

^  Not sure how that title for the article came about but there were also some articles online that United was solid in supporting the Ronaldo acquisition.  There was a whole story about it and how it all came about the moment some rumors were swirling around that Guardiola and Txiki went to Juve to offer a deal for Ronaldo.  I could be wrong with this next part, but that was when it was said that Solskjaer, Darren Fletcher and SAF were like 'let's get our boy home' and went on to make their own deal to acquire Ronaldo.

And yes, City wanted Ronaldo because they couldn't get Kane.  But they ended up rejecting Juve's offer anyway.  City didn't want to pay for the transfer free being asked for a 36 year old player as it was against City's transfer policy.

All good fighters, but aren't on the level of Khabib. That might change with experience, but Khabib was a special fighter, not just in the UFC he has quite the background in Sambo, and I believe was also undefeated in that also off the top of my head.
Many people ignored Khabib for long time and he had to fight with everyone in his division to get a chance for championship title fight.

So true.  Most of the hardcore fans had an idea of what Khabib was capable of but he didn't have the panache so they never really thought much of him.  During that time when he was supposed to fight Tony Ferguson, a lot of the realest fans were on the Ferguson side...  Including me.  Lmao.  But peak Ferguson vs Khabib would've still been a good match up at the time imho.  But in hindsight, Khabib def would've looked like a 1.30 favorite.  Lol.  And that's being generous.

Anyway, it sucks that we don't have an event this weekend.  Sad
