That's ridiculous. A self-moderated thread would be the worst choice for showing transparency, openness and goodwill, as are reasonably expected by investors, and would look like a convenient way to get rid of legitimate criticism on the excuse of fighting FUD. I'm no FUDer at all, and think anybody can spot FUD and tell it apart from criticism. Yet as any other investor who put their coins into this ICO, I feel totally disappointed by the very unprofessional behavior the team has shown so far, by the lack of communication, the non existing support, let alone their TWO WEEKS long struggle to sort out the mess with bonus and bounties... We have the full right to express without censorship our criticism and concern about the present situation, actually I see the same concern in the market itself, as shown by the current lower price. I'm long with my tokens, so I tend to disregard short term fluctuations, but I'd expect some sign of real commitment and a more professional attitude by a company which raised over $40m, and still has to prove they're able to fulfil their promises. |

What kind of experience and technical expertise can they show, in order to prove their ability to assess the validity of a project? How can you ensure your judgement is free from any conflict of interest? Etc. Etc. I know it may look like I'm playing the devil's advocate here, but I'd like to point out those considerations above are not specifically related to this Notary project, rather to your ICO Tracker in a broader sense. |

Beh segwit ha quanto ho letto è un codice abbastanza complesso, la presenza di una falla catastrofica è improbabile ma possibile. Riguardo il punto di vista legale, già oggi la "firma" su una transazione bitcoin non ha nessun valore legale. Certo, oggi non ne ha, ma credo che il senso dell'articolo (per quel poco che ho avuto tempo di leggere) è che la preoccupazione per possibili dispute legali ne scoraggi l'adozione in futuro, e l'affermazione come mezzo di pagamento globalmente riconosciuto e accettato. |

Well, after posting everywhere finally the Alexey guy came to slack to say, basically, I was wrong, without not even reading my email and the explanations. He just said " exchange rates can't be wrong" and disconnected. Great respect for the community. It is so obvious they sent me less tokens, either using the timestamp of my transaction in BTC blockchain, or using the time they themselves processed my transaction. All of this is in the unchangeable blockchain, can't be fooled. So tell me, what's the difference between this and a scam? Delivering partially is also a scam (you sell 10 but deliver 7), changing the rules of the game after people put money in is also scam, or not? Showing in their website 1 USD = 9 SNM then giving you much less. Take a look at their website now: https://ico.sonm.io/See that there is showing 1 USD = 10 SNM, right? Suppose the ICO was now, you send 2000 usd in BTC, how many SNM tokens do you expect to get? 10 x 2000 = 20,000, can't be clearer than this. But no, they give you 15,000. Lol, tell me how possibly can this be correct? What a shady ICO. That's utter bullshit. What "exchange rates" does he refer to?? I've been monitoring the ETH/BTC rate on Kraken since the very first to the 6th confirmation of my BTC transaction, and it's always remained below 0.14. Based on the SNM I received, a rate of 0.1432 was applied instead, that means a loss of more than 2%. And I got obviously no bonus at all, even though the ICO was then between 40-50%, so a 5% bonus was due. Furthermore, hiding and question dodging are totally disrespectful to people who trusted and invested their coins in this project. That's just disgraceful.  |

Beh ma quello è fatto apposta per transazioni "usa e getta" in modo da non sprecare spazio in blockchain, è proprio un suo obiettivo il non tener traccia di tutto. La blockchain invece è fatta per rimanere "scolpita nella pietra", quindi il fatto che siano tolte certe firme mi fa' un po' strano, anche se probabilmente funzionerà tutto senza problemi. beh non e' cosi' "marginale" neanche da un punto di vista tecnico...
Secondo la logica di segregate witness, la firma della transazione serve solo al momento del controllo
della transazione, e poi puo' arbitrariamente venire buttata via, quindi nella blockchain ci saranno
alcune transazioni delle quali si puo' ancora trovare la firma, ed alcune no.
in pratica si potrebbe creare una differenziazione anche "economica" (fee maggiori ?)
tra le transazioni delle quali uno VUOLE che si conservi la firma, e quelle per le quali
ad uno non interessa...
questa cosa non la sapevo, in effetti è un po' strana come cosa, praticamente non sarà più possibile verificare certe vecchie transazioni? Se è così è anche plausibile ciò che dici tu, ovvero che si andrà a pagare di più nel caso in cui la firma venga conservata. Allora dovrebbero esserci problemi anche per Lightning Network, visto che di tutto quello che avviene su canali offchain non viene tenuta traccia. O sbaglio? |

Io con blockchain.info ho fatto subito. A me su Kraken non è arrivato ancora niente... quando dovrebbero accreditarli?
