2581  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: About Merit on: July 13, 2019, 05:24:14 AM
It's not a hard task if you put some effort. Contribute in the forum in a positive way, you can earn merit faster than you think.
PS- This is not the appropriate board for altcoin discussion. This is probably a meta or Help and Beginner section discussion.

i do but with my friend account, but still dont get it, but thank you for your advice.
With your friend account? What has restricted you to contribute from your own account? Can you share your friend account? I might check and would share some merit to your contribution.

I just decide to join this forum with my own account. Before i just look this forum from my friend account and a little help him. Thank you.

I think you are missing a lot here you just bumped your own thread in less than 5 minutes, now that is clear violation, you better go back to basic and do not think of getting merits, you are starting on a wrong foot why not go back reading more on meta and the beginners section, so you'll understand how everything works here in this forum.
2582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Stop Blaming Bounty Hunter! on: July 13, 2019, 04:30:44 AM
Sometimes it's true but most of the time it's a big lie, I have seen so many coins dumped even if bounty hunter's shares are not yet released, it's the huge pre sale bonus is the culprit of this, they gave early birds such a huge amount so if they dump it they still have profit.
2583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BUYBACK TOKENS SOLVES DUMPING on: July 13, 2019, 03:22:34 AM
The buyback mechanism really have good effect on dumpers trying to dump their tokens ,lately two projects I promoted started buying back their own token from bounty hunters or big whales who wants to sell off and move on ,the first project is miracle tele project and the buyback is already on going ,the second one is about to start and the name is CHELLE Coin, buying back tokens is a brilliant idea what do you guys think?

Investors and bounty hunters should support tokens with buyback mechanism in their roadmap, it guarantees that the price will not fall back and there will always volume, but developers are too greedy to do this, they want all the funds accumulated in their coffer.
2584  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounties sometimes are unpredictable on: July 13, 2019, 03:14:05 AM
The most painful experience when promoting a bounty project is thinking you made a right choice by removing the signature of the project you are promoting presently for another project that you think its better and later on? Grin

The first project you are promoting get listed and doubled in value ,how will you feel? Damn! The fact is bounties are unpredictable sometimes ,no one can predict the end results

It happens to me when I was active in ICO but how the game is played you really never know how things will turn out, that goes for the coins that you accumulate that you dumped early only to see coins growing to 100 % of its ICO value, just move on and pick the next big coin out there.
2585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHY DO YOU THINK THE PRICE OF ALTCOIN DROPS WHEN LISTED IN AN EXCHANGE? on: July 13, 2019, 03:09:16 AM
HELLO GUYS

First i will like to know the input of others because this could be the first step we take to solve the problems affecting the price of coins, for bounty hunters.
Personally it has affected me when budgeting because participating in a bounty i first worry about getting paid for my work, then i worry about the project being a success, then i also have to worry about the price of the coin rising or falling then i worry about the percentage rise or fall. But basically both parties are to be blamed; most bounty hunter think about making profit before the success of the project itself so bounty hunters sell their coin at any price available which is the major cause of dumping. further more project are sometimes listed in corrupt exchange which simulate the price of coin to favor them and maximize their profit.
what do you think? and how can we fix this problems ?

There is no problem even if the bounty hunters sell their coins, if the project has a buyback mechanism and the project has potential in the market for a long haul, tokens that continue to drop their price are fly by night project and will not likely to stay on, if the project is good they have the confidence to bounce back.
2586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Gambler's way on: July 13, 2019, 02:21:27 AM
since bitcoin was introduced to me few years ago i've got this thing in mind
is gambling really about luck or can you beat the house using maths and probability?

well as for my i always YOLO bet a lot and sometimes it's working fine but most of the time it's not
i tried also using lowbets with strategy , mostly on dice autobetting, it seems fine but kinda boring, seems okay but it will bust in a time
so do you think gambling is about luck or you can beat the house with strat?

No you cannot beat the house that way, you will only have fun with that small bets but you will eventually lose, only high-risk takers who bet on a large amount and has an appetite for high risk could beat the house one time, but it's not recommended unless you have a large funds and you have been playing a long time.
2587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Be careful of bounty campaigns with "download app" requirement on: July 12, 2019, 02:59:59 PM
I am not discouraging hunters to join bounty campaigns that requires you to download their app or wallet. This is just a friendly reminder to everyone that we should be careful since there have been some malicious apps used to collect personal information and steal funds from mobile/pc. There were also instances where hackers were able to exploit the vulnerabilities of some apps.

If you still wish to continue and download their app, at least take some measures like not storing your private keys/seed phrase in your phone/pc to protect your funds.

You can also read guides posted by some of the forum members here.

Have a safe bounty hunting!

I will not join any bounty that requires me to download an application even if they offer high rewards, it's not worth it, it's very unusual if they ask you to do that, or if they ask you to download the application should have a github version so every coder can check if the application or file is clean or not
2588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trump's statement against cryptocurrency on: July 12, 2019, 12:53:15 PM
How the crypto market will react now? President Trump's statement against bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Trump for the first time come out openly against cryptocurrency. The US is one of the countries having a large share of cryptocurrency market. What will be future implication following Trump coming down heavily on cryptocurrency?

It's nothing new actually we all know what is the stand of USA government ever since and every government for that matter, they don't want to lose control of its people and they do not want decentralization in the first place, It's unfortunate back then we have a coin named Trumpcoin.
2589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crime Effect of Gambling - Your thoughts! on: July 12, 2019, 10:25:31 AM
I recently participated in a debate on debatepedia and this particular one brought about a huge argument and I was wondering how that argument will play out here and hoping to view your thoughts on this.

Actually, the bone of content here is that does gambling cause an increase in various kinds of related criminal activities? Few examples of the major points raised were;

Quote
Casinos are often associated with criminal activity. Drug dealers and prostitutes operate near casinos – they know that there are a large number of potential clients in the area. Casinos can therefore be devastating to neighborhoods.

Quote
The existence of criminals does not make nearby businesses (including casinos) immoral. It is perverse to punish people who just want to gamble (and not take drugs or use prostitutes) by taking away their chance to do so.

For me personally, I believe immoral activities are certainly based on each individual and it does not have anything to do with gambling. Nevertheless, from some of the further research that I made, I got to understand that, these things mentioned are very much applicable in most casinos; drug dealings, prostitution and even some casinos where the owners are into some shady stuffs. Well, just want to get to know what you guys think about this. Do you think Casino is like a hiding place for perpetrators of crime or casino on its own, ushers in a huge level of immoral activities by default?

Here in our country, all our casinos are government run and our government will not let any casinos to be the hideout of bad elements, casinos here are heavily taxed and this is one of our government's revenue-generating institutions, I don't know in other countries, maybe on casinos that are privately run.
2590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this good for bounty checks? on: July 12, 2019, 06:57:18 AM
I am just a beginner of this forum, curious how to find a promising bounty campaign because of the many good projects but at the end of the campaign being a scammer,

1. Check Team
2. Check Concept
3. Check Partnership
4. Check Media Press
5. Check Sales IEO

Whether to follow the bounty must know 5 above it so that the bounty we follow does not lead Scamerr,

What is your opinion?

All of this applies but not a guaranty that the project will become a success for a long haul if you find the project that has all of this be sure to check and follow the development of their platform there are a lot of projects that are good in the beginning but end up losing steam.
2591  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Announcing BPIP - The Bitcointalk Public Information Project! on: July 12, 2019, 06:04:23 AM
This is probably one of the best thread in this section so many merits compiled here and this tool is such a big help to the community, I think only Bitcointalk has this kind of tool, I have not found this to any forum.
2592  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trump is tweeting about Bitcoin O.O thoughts? on: July 12, 2019, 04:09:56 AM
It's the government and Trump is representing his Government policy so what else can we expect, president come and go but Cryptocurrency is going to stay for the good, he can't do anything on the progress of Cryptocurrency he can restrict but no way to stop it.

2594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum will reach $ 2500 on: July 12, 2019, 03:24:53 AM
DeVere group analysts: by the end of the year Ethereum will reach $ 2500 and will continue to grow

According to analysts specializing in financial consulting company deVere Group, before the end of this year, The price of the second capitalization of Ethereum cryptocurrency can grow four times from the current marks. About it reports MarketWatch.

"According to forecasts, the price of Ethereum will significantly increase this year. It can reach until the end of 2018 the mark of $2500, and in the next two years to continue the growth," — said CEO deVere Group Nigel green.

The head of the deVere also said there are three main drivers of growth rates Ethereum:

"This overall rise will be fuelled by three main factors. First, more and more platforms are using Ethereum as a trading tool. Second, wider Use of Ethereum-based smart contracts. And thirdly, decentralization of cloud computing»
Green is also convinced that the cryptocurrency industry will inevitably face regulation, which will contribute to the protection of investors, as well as increasing confidence in the long-term prospects of this market.

Earlier, the blockchain entrepreneur Stephen Marioff expressed the opinion that the price of ETH this year will grow threefold. According to him, this will happen thanks to the active introduction of Ethereum technology in various spheres.

The source of the cryptocurrency.tech
REthereum price did not reach to that level in 2018 but there is a good possibility that this year, Ethereum can reach a new all-time high, ao many good news are happening in the crypto world and people are talking about top coins new all time high so Ethereum could set another all time high and who knows the $2500 level is possible
2595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FOMO is not good at all times! on: July 12, 2019, 02:47:48 AM
Im doing day trading in a big and very popular exchange. when im starting to trade in the particular token. the green candles is going crazy filling up and because i was not ready at that time i feel the FOMO thats why i buy too until my internet connection has a problem thats why its lagging. for a minute when i refresh it. the price was dump already and followed by red candlestick i was left a bag holder. since i have no choice i have to sell it at losing price. ive learned that FOMO was not good at all times. What are causes of this??

They are connivance on this maybe you are not part of a group where they are going to pump certain coins to make their group profitable when they hit a dump on that coin, short term trading has a lot of risks attached to it, and you should not rely on FOMO to buy coins.
2596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does hard work in gambling count? on: July 12, 2019, 02:13:42 AM
The big questions here can you make a living here even if you are playing for years and have allocated a lot of effort and time studying it, I don't think so it's still a game of luck, the only hard work that you can get from gambling is how to control yourself and how to address yourself when you have to stop playing when it's about time to stop.
2597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The only safe haven currency is Bitcoin on: July 11, 2019, 02:09:11 PM
Bitcoin has been confirmed as the best safe haven currency in the world with the following reasons.

1) If they is a military war, someone can easily move out of their respective country with Bitcoin. Cash, gold, silver is much harder to deal on.

2) The only one Currency not controlled by a government or bank.

3) I will have to ask a general question? Why many governments are classing Bitcoin as a property & not a Currency.

My advice is keep buying Bitcoin and don't look back. Also don't forget LTC.

I agree I've read one woman where she travels to a lot of countries with only her cryptocurrency to bring and of course, she only needs her private key and password to transact and anybody can do this so we all need to buy more top coin like Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
2598  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Ironx investors and holders are losing because of badly managed platform on: July 11, 2019, 12:47:32 PM
I will say more, in 7 months they have not even made an automatic conclusion. to withdraw money from the exchange, will have to wait from 1 to 4 weeks.

I have not yet made a deposit here not even their scam IRONX token, this thread should become a warning sign to all investors and traders to stay away from this exchange, there are other good exchanges, and if you become a victim, remember there is a scam accusation here and you are not doing a research.
2599  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling destitute on: July 11, 2019, 12:36:52 PM
Yes, gambling can make man destitute at any time. Gambling is just for fun only. Gambling is not a way to make money. I know many people play gambling to earn money. But it should not be done at all. Gambling will have to play for fun. Humor pressure can never be taken if you lose in gambling. Remember gambling is just a simple game that is fun to play. Never invest more money in gambling. If you invest a lot more in gambling then you can be destitute.

Thank you

Gambling should be fun if you go beyond that you will be in trouble if you feel anxious to win games and take losses seriously and wants to get back what you've lost the other nights then you are on your way to becoming destitute, you should gamble with your means and take it one game at a time forgetting your past loss and just enjoy with no pressure whatsoever.
2600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does Warren Buffett hate bitcoin? on: July 11, 2019, 11:17:51 AM
If you understand the evolution of money and tulip investing, it all makes sense.

The guy is a  traditionalist he does not want anything revolutionary and even if he dislikes it, he cannot do anything to stop the adoption and propagation of Bitcoin and he will not change his mind even if 100% of the country accept.
