1681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Brave the best crypto friendly web browser? on: February 21, 2020, 03:18:44 PM
Toolbars like Pei and Lolli seem great at earning small amounts of Bitcoin.  However, Brave seems like the best browser to actually get rewarded for just surfing the web.  Are there any others?
Yes it is if you want rewards from using it, it is one of the browser I used I am comfortable using using it, it works like Chrome because you can add extensions here and I received ads notification from time to time but it will take me years before I cash out.
1682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder vs. Fury II: The Rematch is On on: February 21, 2020, 03:00:23 PM
According to stake.com bookies, both boxers has even chances to win. Odds are 1.84 Wilder, 1.94 Fury. But I like "Draw 19.00" better  Grin Hope they wish to make a trilogy, because I'm going to place my small bet on the draw (but frankly I'm going to cheer for Fury). To bad this is not going to happen, take a look on those two hungry men

Anyone else going to place a bet?
There's more hype and excitement than the Ruiz Joshua fight, it's anybody's ball game because I'm pretty sure that both fighters will be employing different strategies this time, but I am still baffle why the change of trainers for Fury when he is doing great after he got back after a long vacation.
1683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Decent signature campaigns? on: February 21, 2020, 01:15:34 PM
I would like to know if there are any decent signature campaigns running? I'm aware of the ones that pay with BTC, I want something that pays with altcoins, preferably not an ICO though, but an alt that has been running for sometime.

Emirex has just completed their campaign they are already in the market, and it's possible that they will have another round, the one that is running right now is Blockburn, do check out from time to time there are coins that are already in the market that still launch a campaign
1684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you share at least one gambler who have become rich in gambling? on: February 21, 2020, 11:36:47 AM
Since we believe that there are people who become rich in gambling or they are making a living in gambling

Can you please share at least one person who made that, and please put some proof.

I don't have any of my friends and I guess many of  those who really made gambling their job will not divulge information about their trade secret and how much they are earning, they should protect their assets of course and their love ones, but there are rich tycoon who owns casinos who made a lot of money from operating these gambling casinos.
1685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP ready to make an Epic rally... on: February 21, 2020, 06:12:58 AM
Ripple affected very badly before few days and created amid tension on the Investors, there was lot of excitement as the third largest crypto will soar the market but unfortunately it stills seems to be in bear. However analyst say to hold till the end to the year to see a massive rally on XRP, hopefully XRP will surprise the investors in upcoming days.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.newsbtc.com/2020/02/15/analysis-predicted-ripple-xrp-17-cent-bottom-200-rally/amp/

I am not a big supporter of XRP but they do surprise their investors every time the market is moving up, even if you do not like XRP you will notice it;'s performance that is why some investors still invest in XCP even though they are not fan of XRP like me  Cheesy
You cannot ignore it when it comes to profit.
1686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Places To Hold Initial Coin Offerings on: February 21, 2020, 04:13:34 AM
What are some of the best places you can think to hold ICOs, that provide both the investor and the project manager security from fraud, scams so on and so forth?

I think the best question to put up is ICO still preferable and will investors still go for ICO if a good project is presented, that way you will have an idea if it's worth holding an ICO or you just wasting your time, because no investors are coming in to invest because they knew ICO is already dead.
1687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Experience facilitates better understanding on: February 21, 2020, 01:25:12 AM

I think for traders who has loses or altcoins investors with lower profits and more loses.

When your trade goes wrong; It is better to test and practice different methods and strategies over an extended period of time.

Instead of panic investing to recover loss.

Remember experience facilitates better understanding

NB: basically my thoughts and practices method. How do you go about yours??
Experience is always the best teachers especially on trading, each not enough that you see how trading works in instruction and videos you have to feel and make small mistakes for a big trading experiences, if you do not know how to handle losses you are not likely going to trade effectively.
1688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling a threat or fun? on: February 20, 2020, 11:59:15 PM
This question is always on my mind since then until now. I want to know the opinion of everyone here on this platform. I know that we have all different perception about gambling, so I respect what will be your point of view about that.

But to share my opinion, I consider gambling as a threat to gamblers. Yes, there are a lot of people who find happiness in gambling if and only if they can control their selves from this, but no matter how fun can gambling gives to you, the problem is still there, the addiction on it is always there, it grows day by day. There are so many disadvantages of being so addicted in gambling, one of which is forgetting your priority, spending your time to your family and your friend, you won't be able to more productive things than losing money, to the point that even you already lose and don't have enough money to play, you will make ways, there are times that you will ask a request to your friend to give you money as debt. You should be the one who controls the gamble and don't let the gamble control you.

Gambling is dangerous for newbies who have no idea of all the trap, excitement and all the depression that comes along losing a lot of money, all first timer once time or another have experienced losses on their first tries, if they have a strong character they can pass this phase and become a responsible gambler and this is where they consider gambling just for entertainment.+
1689  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why has not any government stopped Bitcoin? on: February 20, 2020, 03:23:31 PM
Governments have done enough to dissuade common people from using Bitcoin extensively.
I don't think it's enough, it just keep Bitcoin moving and getting adopted it's Bitcoin who gets the government to surrender because they cannot contain it anymore, you cannot bring down a great technology it will find it's way, because people find it interesting and unique.
1690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Assess your gambling addiction level. on: February 20, 2020, 02:37:17 PM
Gambling addiction is a mystery because you may not realize that you are getting addicted or even after severely got addicted.

Let us try to find how safely we have been into gambling so far.

Level 1 to level 3: (beginning levels)
1. New gambling ideas flashes in your mind even you are too busy with your studies or work or with friends/family.
2. Already lost in hundreds still you are strongly believing to recover them by innovating new strategy.
3. Made $50 then why not $100 or $500.

Level 0:
Gamble while gamble and may forget it for months. Gamble only with friends and gambling is not an option to kill boredom.

I can say that I have a level 0 and level 1 to 3 but most of the time I am on level 0 I think my level is manageable and pose no problem at all with my family and my work, this should be the level of those who do not have money enough to gamble, don't force your way if you do not have enough money to play, or you will become a compulsive gambler.
1691  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Electrum wallet - Update safely and avoid phishing wallets? on: February 20, 2020, 12:10:51 PM
I stopped using Electrum, after the hacking incident and I totally stopped using Electrum so I'll be safe and my coins, but after seeing this thread I am thinking of making a comeback to diversify my portfolio, but I prefer the Litecoin version since I'm accumulating Litecoin right now.
1692  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Who is behind KYC info? Why we don't ask them for KYP? on: February 20, 2020, 10:57:52 AM
We know that centralization is a big problem for society these days, because of its many issues like bureaucracy, inefficiency, corruption, manipulation, data privacy, steal and sale of private information, etc!

KYC is another issue because nobody knows where their info will be ended and who will see it or use it.

The problem with KYC is who is asking for it and what use they will give. There should be a KYP (Know your provider) so far we don't have such a thing! and nobody is thinking about it!

The first step before doing our KYC, we the users should apply KYP and make sure we know who is holding our personal info, the people behind centralized companies need to have their full names and id publicly, they need to be accountable, and transparent. after that, we should proceed to do KYC.

Clever ideas?

I agree with your observation that is why I only do KYC to popular and compliant exchange, I never do KYC to newly launch KYC or ICO and airdrop that is why I missed a lot of bounty campaign because I do not want to be part of these campaigns that ask for bounty campaign, if they do not show compliant and who are the team behind I'll never do KYC.
1693  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Placing coins in storage or setting stop losses? on: February 20, 2020, 10:30:40 AM
Common advice is to keep your currencies safe by placing them into storage. I feel this is risky considering coins have dumped to all time lows within short periods of time. The alternative would be to keep them on an exchange and set stop losses, however, this is also risky as exchanges or your account can be compromised. How do you manage these risks?

It's still goes down on the potential of the coin, I will be storing it in a cold wallet if I know the potential of the coin, but will never store it in exchange it has been advised hundred of times there is a huge risk storing your coins in a wallet, because you have no control on it, and the to many hacking going on.
1694  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best guide so far... on: February 20, 2020, 09:48:05 AM
All of us have different reasons for staying here on this platform.
Most of us have targeted posting to make income and some are here to learn cryptocurrency.

I have realized recently that we should make a goal that's affiliated with cryptocurrency 'cause it's just a waste if you learned all those facts and information about crypto on this platform for income. Some are not giving any attention to informative topics but in reality, knowledge is power and more important than anything else.

So, questions came up to my mind...

"What should be my destination if I learn even more about the cryptocurrency?"

"What if the cryptocurrency disappear?"

Your destination really depends on your application, if you obtain a diploma in medicine and you become a doctor, you need to treat sick people for people to say that you are indeed a doctor, and on your question what if Cryptocurrency disappear, the biggest question more than this is, what will make Cryptocurrency to vanish.

1696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have some funds to invest-- How do I make a good decision? on: February 20, 2020, 01:58:13 AM
There are so many coin out there, Please what do I look out for to make a good choice for investment into any of the coin.

Please be sincere.

Thanks

I advice that you go on the safe side and that is only invest coins that have proven their worth in the market, there are many to choose from so confined on coins on their performance int he market for the last three years and their development on those times, I believe you can pick 5 to 8 coins and add it to your portfolio.
1697  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Consider these 12 things before joining a bounty program on: February 20, 2020, 12:08:35 AM
Before participating in a crypto bounty project, here are some things you need to check in order to save time and problems later with the project.

1. A very basic and important thing to check first is that they have reliable staff willing to answer questions the same day or at least the next day.
2. Check if the project will solve something not covered by other projects already.
3. Verify if their staff is online showing their profiles with plenty of their info & they are active at Github.
4. Check the number of followers on Twitter and other social networks.
5. See if they have a practical way to count/reward your support where you can see right away your earn, or at least they count properly the same day or week.
6. Test them to see how good they are managing the community's feedbacks & communication.
7. Test them the first week, to see if they reward what they promised.
8. Ask all-important questions about legal stuff like KYC, countries allowed, etc.
9. Check that they have professional written ANN or bounty program, if they have a lot of mistakes, quit soon.
10. Evaluate how committed they are with the project.
11. Check that they have a professional and original written white paper.
12. Choose them if the project resonates with your passion.

I can add later more if they are important. Or you can suggest new ones.

You sum everything every bounty hunters need to know it deserves merit or even get pinned right now the crowdfunding is all messed up I have seen projects that are qualified to received funding but they are ignored because, investors are not having second thought because of past experiences with so called good project.
1698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BLAME THE INVESTOR FOR LOOSING NOT THE CRYPTO ECOSYSTEM on: February 20, 2020, 12:00:07 AM
I do believed that before anyone can spend his/her money to invest in ANYTHING he/she wishes in order make some decent returns/profit. he need to research Or ask questions. follow the project. make sure he follows the teams responsible for the project. Ask questions in their social media channel. Most likely READ THE WHITEPAPER. also reasearch about the team involved. THE INTERNET is there for us all. Also engage with some crypto professionals if the Need be.

I believed if people can spend more time in doing this, the scams and looting in the crypto system may reduce. UNLESS Such person wants to gamble with his funds scam projects are also means to make quick money if you are lucky enough to follow up. If Not you will Loose.

Daily, there are new members getting into the cryptocurrency. people needs to be aware of what they are going into to avoid fund loss.
There are a lot of projects that has passed radars they looked legit, under good developers but unfortunately they failed to get support and some people actually ended up a losing project, one case is Actus, they are real people with real achievement but look at their project it's going nowhere.
1699  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Use Discord with caution on: February 19, 2020, 04:44:41 PM
Hi,
The issue is not releated to discord, If someone contacts you privately on discord for money is a red flag.

Yeah that's true it also happen in telegram and in fact telegram is notorious on this, I think these are the same people who tried to scam gullible, because they do not know this things work, so you will reading every channel that the dev or the admin of the channel  will not message you first, because scammers are impersonating these admins and devs.
1700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: At the end of the year! on: February 19, 2020, 04:07:38 PM
I don't know why crypto experts/analysts always play safe by saying at the end of the year that coin price will go in that place/price! So, people wait 12 months to see it if they are right or wrong?! At the end of 2017, that was a miracle and after that so-called analyzer keeps predicting a high price by setting the timeline at the end of the year! We saw what happened in 2018 and 2019! It's better to learn the price chart and see other things to make your own prediction and strategy. Don't fall in words guys that Reddit co-owner, or Twitter owner or any other big names predict a high price, always do your own research in every sector in crypto. Good Luck.

It will not harm if you looked at these experts predictions and see how they analyze the market and the future price, the bad thing is you follow their advice blindly without checking the reports if these are legit and not creating your own and compare to them, this is how should things should be.
