261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A friend sent me .03 BTC - what to do now? on: January 20, 2018, 11:46:20 AM
So long story short, a friend owed me for a favor and since I did not have bitcoin before he asked If I would take it in BTC. I didn't mind since I can cash out whenever.
My question is.. what do you think? Its a decent chunk of money for me to just hope something keeps rising, do you think I should "let it ride" or cash out and just be happy with ~$500?

Hi there Hawk77! If you need the cash, so you better wait for a while and cash it all out. But, if you did not need it for the moment you could just retain it in your wallet and wait for the moment the price sky rocketed. The five hundred bucks your friend own for you could be doubled in several months. Just wait and trust bitcoin, it will surely increase its price. The current price is little by little picking its speed upwards.  Wink

262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Help please recovering my bitcoin on: January 19, 2018, 11:19:04 AM
Guys about 5-6 years ago I was payed £100 for a product via bitcoin I can’t remember what the site was I used! Can anyone help? Surely there wasn’t many bitcoin accounts back then?

I have a feeling it’s bitcoin.com but they don’t have any options to login? It was a site that I used via computer not by phone app.

Thanks

Hi there Etoboss! Most of the people who received bitcoin on those early years nearly forgotten their bitcoins until they are alarmed that the price is so high that almost the ten time from the original value back then. If you will email those company and ask if you have account in their company, the hope maybe not at your side. What I could recommend is to search for your emails, most of the wallet provider back then requires you an email address before you could signup and receive bitcoin. Frim their you could just change password then to enable or enter to your account.  Wink
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If your friends and loved ones let you sell your bitcoin? on: January 19, 2018, 08:27:51 AM
My friend advised me to sell my coin today. I know he is for my sake, but how to explain to him?
Hi there vltnqefi! The reason why bitcoin price is so volatile is the chain reaction of people that start to sell their bitcoin and tell every one to sell, thus others also sell their bitcoin thus the price starts to fall dramatically. On the other hand, if the price start to raise, other people tell other bitcoiner to buy, and spread the news to buy thus the bitcoin price almost vertically increase. Then, most of the people will complain that the price is very volatile. Every person have its own choice, and if those choices always depends on other you are just like a robot, always following order from the user. Wink
264  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin community is rising. on: January 19, 2018, 08:11:30 AM
What do you think a about it? is it good or bad for bitcoin?

Hi there kyrizchan! Absolutely it is very good. Some quotes says, the more the merrier. The continue increase of people that is concerned with bitcoin and want to utilize the bitcoin, the more company will see bitcoin as a payment option for their product or services. The growing number of bitcoin holder the more people are into trading and another good effect to traders and specially the trading platform. However, the more the community, the more emotion could lead a more volatility of price. But all in all, I assume that it is a very good phenomenon.
265  Economy / Speculation / Re: The falling can't be real on: January 19, 2018, 07:56:07 AM
I have no reason but my intuition is saying the price go up very soon. I had 13.5 BTC so bought another 13.5 BTC 5 minutes ago. the falling is fake. this can't happen for bitcoin goes under 9000$. I got on
the bullish wave ever already. Join me people

Hi there gishab56! 13.5BTC is a huge money, you will absolutely suffer form heart attack if bitcoin will continue to go down below 5k. But I’m with you, even though I have not that same amount of bitcoin, I also feel terrible when the price goes down. But one that I makes me feel at ease is the trust to bitcoin that its price volatility is good because it determines how people see the lowest level price. And if the price stop to fall, the next will be a great news. The price will start to sky rocket again and it will go beyond the all time high.
266  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoint to $1,800 USD by end of 2018 on: January 17, 2018, 02:07:21 PM

Hi there Sinistlercoin! The news is all about “prediction”    and currently, there are also predictions that say that bitcoin could reach at a Million dollar in few more years. But then again, those are what we called “prediction”. One can’t say a prediction is accurate enough to be judge. You could come back when the stated year 2020 com and check the price of bitcoin. On the other hand, the trend in crypto nowadays is combined by utility use, just like the Ripple and Strat. That is why, prediction for that innovation could be real, but the price could be questionable.  Wink
267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook & Google creating its own Cryptocurrency! on: January 17, 2018, 01:47:37 PM
Your thoughts on Facebook and Google creating its own Cryptocurrency. I know BTC is the pioneer in cryptocurrencies and currently has the highest value but if this two giant companies will release their own cryptocurrencies I don't think anyone would want miss that. Its not impossible right? Similarly Other companies like twitter & Youtube and even UBER can also dig into cryptocurrencies. If major companies can consider BTC as their main cryptocurrency, BTC value will definitely skyrocket.

Hi there BitKinginfinity! Those issue is not new by now, it is just creating news but no further proof of that. Lately, I’ve read one of the company you listed is interested in the blockchain technology but not in crypto or tokens. Anyway, given the fact that they will dive into the cryptocurrency, they will sure reach success through their vast advertising capability. However, people will not be carried away by their coins to be because those will be build govern by them, centralized and not publicly can be mined by people.  Wink
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am worried! on: January 16, 2018, 01:28:06 PM
Everyday, more and more fud are being spread all throughout the internet because of the recent happenings on bitcoin. Which causes the prices to decrease even more. Even when they do not have enough knowledge about bitcoin peole believe them because they are famous. I think this will be bad for bitcoin. Specially for newbies that only bought bitcoins for greed and don't understand how it works. They will surely panic sell and also spread fud about bitcoin because they lost capital because of their stupidity. This really is a but scary. But i sure won't be selling my bitcoins no matter what.

Hi there 125redblack! A very good choice, you are one of the die hard bitcoiner I frequently encounter in this forum. There are so many news, one can’t even figure out which is legitimate and which is fake news. But given the fact, there are many people that just a little thousand a bitcoin price drop and they are on panic mode willing to sell immediately their possession. And what most interesting is that they even buy at high price. Still loyal to bitcoin!  Wink
269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in 2018 on: January 16, 2018, 09:00:05 AM
The journey of bitcoin from 2009 to 2017 is very interesting. Although the stories of individuals(investors) are very interesting and motivational that how they initiated and what problems they faced at earlier stages.

In 2017 the number of businesses accepting bitcoin continues to increase. Where you see the bitcoin in 2018?

Hi there Maxnetlabs! I could see more bitcoin in my wallet! I think bitcoin have more room to grow especially this days that companies are starting to accept it as a legal tender, just a example what a chicken fast food chain did. In terms of price, I think it could hardly climb up again due to the trading company which I think what mostly like is to make the price non volatile. But I hope, the next few months the bitcoin exit to its long time low since the holiday season and continue to sky rocket its price again.   Wink

274  Economy / Speculation / Re: Right time to buy bitcoin on: January 08, 2018, 03:48:59 AM
At this time bitcoin price is very dumping.I think it's time to buy bitcoin.Do you think, this is the right time to buy bitcoin or wait few days. Please tell me?

Hi there nabilanur! One of the very best chance to buy is when the price is low. You can even frequently read those phrases in this forum; they always says; “buy low – sell high”. This is a opportunity to buy when the price is still in its low level due to the effect of the previous holidays. But, I bet, the price will start to go upwards, thus it is a must to buy now rather than to regret it when the time bitcoin price is again above $20k.  Wink
275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The problem with transaction fees on: January 06, 2018, 05:07:48 AM
Consider a world where mining only pays out transaction fees. Almost all miners charge a transaction fee of t and all users pay a transaction fee of t on their transactions.

One miner decides to increase his profits by charging a smaller transaction fee. He publicly announces his intention and many users reduce their fee to be on par with the new fee he has announced. The miner increases his profits (because he processes more transactions) and the users save money. All other miners are forced to reduce their fees as well in order to make any transaction fees at all.

This process continually repeats itself until transaction fees are reduced to their smallest possible value and very little mining is done. This leaves the blockchain venerable. One solution is continue to pay out a block reward forever. What do people think?

Hi there ptd! Those transaction fee is really a pain in the ass. The solution you said is quite possible, but I just wondering how those thousand of miners could possibly do that. As far as I know, most of the miners are independent, meaning there is no one who could control their decision in terms of those transaction fees. That is one of the reason government want to step into the system to create a regulation about pricing. But most of us, can’t determine if it could produce a positive or a more negative effect.  Wink
276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if a person died with BTC!! on: January 06, 2018, 04:13:42 AM
What will happen??

No one will have the BTC address. Hence will them isolated?

In FIAT, people can handover money to someone.. So, i predict BTC will be disappeared gradually.

Hi there rddsd7! The same happen when a bank customer with millions in his account died and no one from his family or relative knows the account. The bank would send a notice to the account holders address and when no ones gain interest, the bank would then close the account and possibly take over the cash deposit. Thus, in bitcoin; when the wallet address holder dies, there is a possibility that the wallet company could take over the bitcoins. As a lesson, always tell someone, like your family about the bitcoin wallets and how to cash out those coins when time comes.  Wink
277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What impresses you the most about Bitcoin? on: January 05, 2018, 07:48:01 AM
I know a lot of people have different reason why the love and embrace bitcoin.
For me the decentralized nature of bitcoin and the thought of being able to send coins to anybody in any part of the word, no third party, no regulation(specific amount), no bullshit is mind blowing.

Hi there Memoransom! What impress me a lot is the dominance of bitcoin in terms of a fast, secure and efficient way of sending money especially from two place afar. If you could compare the transaction fee of sending money bitcoin processing is more cheap. Another one that I like about bitcoin is its ability to increase its value for a certain time. That surpasses the interest rate that my current bank could give. And lastly, there are growing numbers of company that accept the crypto, thus paying is becoming more easily than before.  Wink

278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can be hacked? on: January 05, 2018, 06:51:17 AM
I love the concept of Bitcoin. I believe the Internet will redefine currency as we know it.  I hope this helps the Bitcoin community to develop a currency that's really resilient to attacks.

But, is it possible?

Hi there Major_Troubles! Don’t you worry because you are not getting any trouble in bitcoin. Bitcoin itself, the block chain technology could not possibly be hacked because it is a network or thousand and maybe millions of computers. So hacking will require accessing all those computers that are processing the transactions. What could be hacked is the company that provide a wallet to the users. You could search Mt. Gox hacking and the latest Nice hash hacking incidents. While Mt. Gox is a wallet company and Nice hash s a crypto mining company. Nevertheless, you could store your bitcoins in a physical wallet to prevent the hacking but be sure to keep it in a safe place.  Wink
279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is making this world a better place? on: January 05, 2018, 06:33:03 AM
They say, money make the world go round. Without money nothing will move around.

Money is key in building any human civilization and bitcoin is more than just a money, it's something bigger.

Do you think bitcoin value and speed will help change the face of our current civilization for good? Share with us what you think... thanks Smiley

Hi there cybersofts! First of all, why can’t I see the pool results? Anyway, for me I think bitcoin is help a lot of people nowadays. Unfortunately, it help people who wants a decent job and gain from the technology but this technology could also help those people who have a illicit work. In the past the early adopters of bitcoin uses it to order drugs and other illegal stuff online. On the other hand, I read reports that people in several country see bitcoin mining as profitable than their own local jobs. They said in bitcoin mining,  you don’t have to follow an employer and even don’t need to travel back and forth to the company at the end you could be with your family while gaining income.  Wink

280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: January 05, 2018, 06:16:21 AM
What would you do when you're talking to someone but then he suddenly talks about his hatred on Bitcoin, what would you react to it?

I've never actually experienced anything like this before, I just want to be prepared when it happened to me.

Hi there Jeremycoin! I actually experience something like that. While I am discussing bitcoin and its benefits to someone, this another guys buts in and bashing it as if he knows everything about the technology while he just referring to a local news that give a negative impact to bitcoin. I just let him explain all what he knows then I ask him question which he can’t answer like the increase rate of price per month and year. I think he is amazed what he know after that and just fly away, I never knew he bought bitcoins after that.  Wink
